I am presently looking for a hardware vehicle on which to build a turn-key
product. The requirerments are as follows:

        - an 8-bit processor with 128K or more of RAM

        - one 5 1/4 floppy drive

        - an industry standard bus with a variety of serial ports and/or
modem cards available (with a minimum configuration of at least
          8 ports)

The IBM PC, as well as various STD Bus products, looks very attractive.
However I have yet to find any PC Bus boards which have serial ports that
can be configured for other than COM1 or COM2 addresses.

If anyone knows of PC Bus serial boards that do not have this addressing
limitation, particularly if the single board supports multiple serial
ports, I would appreciate hearing from you.

Thanks for your attention,
Rick Moll
