I have a 25-Mbyte Tandon hard disk drive that I'd like to plug into my Apple.
I don't know just what it takes to do so, but I'd guess that a good start
might be the schematics and ROM code from the Corvus or some similar disk
subsystem. Given that info, I may be able to design a controller.
Does anyone have a set of Corvus documentation that he or she is willing to
copy for me? I'm willing to pay mailing costs, but I can't handle copying
fees of more than a couple of dollars. If you're in the same boat as I, i.e.,
having access to a disk but not a controller, I'm willing to share whatever I
come up with - it would be in the form of a wire-wrappable module built, most
likely, on an Apple proto card. My contribution would include schematic, wire
list, parts list, assembly drawing, cable documentation, and any other
necessary stuff.
Interested parties please reply by netmail or phone (617) 486-6363 between
8.30 and 5.00 Eastern time.
