So I’ve always considered the possibility of running MS-DOS stuff on my Centris 660av. Does anyone know if the Centris 610 DOS Compatibility card (that I at least think exists) would work with my 660av? And if so, where to find one?

A couple of things...

1. The dos card for the Centris/Quadra 610 and the power Macintosh 6100 are both 040 PDS cards so the short answer is yes, it will work - BUT...

2. The PDS slots in the 610 and 6100 are different - so the riser cars that the dos card fits in is different.

This means a few things... the dos cards for the 6100 are very plentiful and they are the faster 486 DX2-66 variety while the Quadra/Centris units are 486SX-33 units and are quite rare. I have seen two on eBay in the past five years and one was recently.
