There have been "rumours" of a Boba Fett film even well before Lucas
sold out to Disney. If they spout it often enough, then at some stage
they will probably be right. The new spin-off movies do make it more
likely, but you still have to take such stories with a mountain of salt
until real evidence shows up.

Rumors, by the nature of being rumors, always have to be taken with a grain (or more) of salt. However, Boba Fett is such an obvious choice for doing a standalone film that it would probably be more surprising if they didn't do one.
