I tried several programs with WinVice 2.4 that require disk write access, although not delibrately. Every time resulted in either garbage displayd on the screen or a read error on the drive. Even the C128's DSAVE command gave me a problem. WinVice 2.2 didn't give me this problem. Is v. 2.2 still available on th internet? If so, where?

Never mind about the downgrade: I found the files on ftp.zimmers.net.

I'm wondering if the bug is due to me compressing some of the WinVice executables with UPX. Has anybody had better results with WinVice 2.4 than I? :(
