Any 31 pin simms modules available from anyone on this news group?
I mean the type that plug into the ram/link? I could use
2 4 meg simms. Will pay your price. Do not deal via ebay.
All ebay does is spam my mailbox.

I believe you mean 30 pin simm modules, right? (There is not such thing as a
31 pin simm AFAIK)
If you don't have any luck in the next few days email me (address in my
header), a local salvation army store has a ton of old 386 era computers,
most with 30 pin simm memory, but they want about $10-$15 a machine.

Well you could call them modules if you want. We call them
SIMMS ram storage devices. I dont know if those used
in older PC's would be the same voltages used in CBM stuff or not.

The sad thing is that a mate of mine had an entire shoebox full of 30 pin
simms, and gave them all away in his shop as keyrings :)

As a matter of fact, I have something like 80 of these. All but four are 4MB,
some parity, some not. They should all work with RamLink since it doesn't
care about parity.
Also about two dozen 72 pin SIMMs in 4 and 16 MB sizes. Used one of them to
populate my SuperCPU.
Picked them up with a batch of old computers found on Freecycle locally. All
of them, save for one or two, are UNTESTED. I don't have a way to test them
save for using my SuperCPU or RamLink as guinea pigs (ain't gonna do that!)
Let me know by Email.
If anyone else is interested, I would like to sell these off to raise a little
cash.

I tried your email but it certainly was'nt obvious as to what
your real email addr is. Please contact me direct via email
to jfenn@lava.net
I would like 2 of the 4 meg plugins. Its strange that the
1 meg simms have a whole bunch of chips on theirs, but the
4 meg simm has only 2 chips on the board.
Please contact me on email direct as to details.

Remove the capital letters spelling out "DELETE THIS" in my address, which
should leave my full name at gmail.com :-)
I distributed them like that so that spambots won't be likely to read the
address properly. Maybe I better adjust it a bit...
