I'll be there most likely..

I'll stick my neck out and ask the obvious. Any chance of burying the
hatchet are reuiniting the channels? I have no idea what caused the
split as I was not online that week. The split seems to have had a
watering down effect..

Just asking, don't shoot me please :-)

Personally, a few others and I dont like being under Snog's thumb. He shows
up for barely 4 hours a week and tells everyone else what to do. This isnt
right. The people that use the channel should manage it in my opinion. I
dont believe anyone should have to kiss the channel owners ass. This is what
he expects and he is not getting it from me. So with that said, anyone who
wants to join a FREE chat session where the users control the channel and
there is no censorship then Please join #CBM8 on IRC server Newnet. We are
around all the time so if you want to chat about commodore 8 bit machines in
real time with others who have the same interest, please grab yourself a
copy of Mirc or another irc client program and join us. We have a channel
bot present that is very helpful with inquires and a file server if you are
looking for a game or utility. Come check it out.

Heck, I'll join all two channels. Both get occasional on-topic, intelligent
chat from time to time, anyway...

Plenty of channel owner's ass kissing required on #cbm8 as well, don't
get along with Killer Pillboy and you'll be banned, use any profane
language, you'll be banned.

In fact, apart from the fileserv, it's pretty much identical to
#c64friends. Most of the same channel members, and from what I noticed
last time I was in there, it's a great place for discussing how much
the members of the channel don't like Slarti. Hah!

The users control the channel and there is no censorship? Get real, I
know several people who have been warned, kicked or banned for using
"language" and from experience I can surely say there is nothing "for
the people" about #cbm8.

Get over it Kilr, you hang out in #c64friends all the time now anyway
under another alias, why not just take your identical channel and go
back to where you belong.

Anyone who couldn't give a fuck about any of this stupid shit, you're
welcome in #c64retards, the first channel to appear after the
#c64friends debacle, and the only channel that exists solely as a bit
of a laugh.

Now leave poor Robert alone, and go make up with Snogpitch. Jilted
lovers.

You're talking out your ass, I swear all the time there.

That's because you've proven yourself a dickhead.

Again you lie like a rug. The only entries on the banlist are you and
your sock puppet and they're there because you annoyed half the channel.

Yes, and you're buddies with Kilr. Several others have been warned or
kicked for swearing though, just because you don't know about it does
not mean it isn't true.

You admit #cbm8 channel members like to ramble on about their dislike
for me? I mean I do have logs of this, it's nice to have honest fans
though.

You have no idea. Other ops have cleared the ban list frequently, I
know for a fact that others' unrelated to me have been both kicked and
banned from #cbm8. It is no different from #c64friends, and come to
think of it a person is much more likely to be kicked from #cbm8 than
from #c64friends. Ironic isn't it.

#c64retards has a policy of "whatever", so feel free to come over and
get kicked or ridiculed or whatever.

Sock puppet? What do you mean by that?

Well its absolutely true! You are a dickhead. You come in playing the
part and then you get kicked. Then u go whining and sniveling u are getting
kick banned. Smarten up for fucks sake. At least try to pretend to be a
decent human being. I know u got it in you, but u choose to be retard. A
matter of fact is i only kicked you once or twice, the rest of the time it
was others. And as for these other people you say got kicked, well if they
come in with fuck this fuck that and EVERY word is a swear word, well of
course someone is gonna kick them. Not necessarily me but we do have alot of
ops who are welcome to boot who they want, when they want. Thats the great
thing about being op!

LOL It was cleared once and it was an accident!! You are so pathetic.
The
reason YOU are more likely to get kicked is because YOU are a moron who
decides not to have SOME common decency. Thats it, thats all!

It's exactly the attitude you're displaying in this post, that shows
what the real problem is.

Well done.

Always happens this way - people fork a channel cos they dont like the nazis
that run it, and then become nazis themselves.

I don't think if that was his plan he would have made me op. Those who
know me on IRC know I'm not your typical (read: fascist) op. Hell, when I
had a fight with the person who ran another channel (not
Commodore-related, it was an anime channel) and formed my own I wound up
eventually grabbing 95% of the old channel's population just because they
liked me so much - even every one of the old channel's ops came to the new
channel and are regulars there. And as in #cbm8, there is only one person
banned - I don't feel a need to ban people unless they really piss off the
channel. I think most of the people who op in #cbm8 are more of my
caliber and less of Snog's.
