I normally use a Star 10X printer on my C= system, I have recently acquired
an MPS-801.
Question is, how well does the 801 print graphics compared to a 10X or other
C= printers?
Tnx.

I had one of the MPS printers, can't remember which one (801? 803?).
IIRC, they were like 7 pin printers, sucked for doing straight text
printing (no decenders on lower-case letters, etc). When printing
graphics out of stuff like GEOS, you only got like 70% of the page
fitting, blown up to the full-page. The driver would compensate when
printing out of the word-processor.
I've never used a Star 10X, my next printer was an Epson 9 pin and a
SuperGraphics IEC->Centronics adapter.

Thanks Michael,
I was wondering what the big difference with them is. 7 pins would not be
good.
The Star 10X is a 9 pin printer and does graphics pretty good.
I use a Super Graphics adaptor with it.
Tnx

Thanks man.
I still might get a ribbon for it (if I can find one cheap).
