At the west coast computer faire there will be a very interesting product for the mac: a microsoft compatible basic compiler for the Macintosh and Lisa. The 
first version will apparently be a cross development system. soon there will be 
a standalone version running on the mac. This is a true compiler orient
will soon be a version running on the mac. The oode produced 

The product is oreinted to porting IBM PC applications  .
Most PC programs are written in MBASIC now these programs will run better on the mac
