Yes well the most obvious way it has changed is that "Japanimation" has
become anime. But this is just like the old
newspaper columns that list the events of the past but without the
good journalistic writing that those events are recounted in.

For fans of course things are a lot better with more anime and manga
released in North America, both through traditional publishers and
via fan efforts.

And AOL is not out of business which is fine by me but at least they no
longer bombard me with snail-mailed CDs to try to take over my computer
which is even better.

Maybe if we have members here who were members of the AOL forum we
might get some insight as to the utility of that forum.
