George,

AFAIK the LT could hook up to the standard PCE CD ROM unit.

As far as emulation is concerned, I think the PC-FX ran with 1 CPU at
about 25mhz. The Saturn has 2 25mhz SH4. I can't remember exactly which
CPU is in the PC-FX, but while I think a Gameboy or NES emulator might
be possible, I don't feel very confident that a 25mhz system could
properly emulate the 7mhz PCE. The NES was only running at 1mhz.

I would love to be proved wrong.

Subject: Meteor Blaster DX to begin shipping !

Hello, List.

After many delays on the CD Manufacturing side, I am pleased to
announce that Meteor Blaster DX will begin shipping at the end of
this week (29 July, or so).

Meteor Blaster is 99 levels of "Asteroids" style fun for the Turbo
Duo (and PCE) in SCD form. Game cinemas, powerups and a bunch of
hidden features are all included.

Also included on the Meteor Blaster DX CD are 2 bonus games:

  Loop
  Implode Caravan Version

More information about the MB CD can be found at:
    http://mindrec.com/?main=pce/meteordx.php

To order your copy, you can either use the MindRec.com store (which
uses yowcow as the online payment service), send a check or money
order to MindRec, or order online from Turbo Zone Direct. The price for
Meteor Blaster DX is $30

Only 500 copies of the game will be released (as opposed to the
earlier stated 1,000).

Feel free to contact me directly if you would like to order, or you
can peruse the TZD web site (http://tzd.com) or the MindRec.com
Store (http://mindrec.com/?main=store/index.php) for online ordering.
