My father is looking for a desktop micro/pc that has available
a database program(s) that he can use for QA.  He wants to
be able to log in information about equipment along the lines of
date received, date inspected, inspection details, pass/fail status
of inspection, purchase order number, etc. etc. and be able to
have the software grab for him any combination of any of those
fields (i.e., by PON, date inspected, range of dates, etc.).

Any leads on either PC or software for this type of thing would
be greatly appreciated; ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE USED IT YOURSELF
AND CAN GIVE ME AN EVALUATION.
