Hi everyone,  just found a neat bit o' info and thought I'd pass it
along:

www.maccables.com carries "Printer/Modem Extension cables" which happen
to be the very 8pin MiniDIN cables which we need to save our eyes from
being too close to the TV!  Their prices are quite reasonable:

$2.99 for a 6ft cord
$6.99 for a 25ft(!) cord (not sure how well this would work, due to
possible signal loss)

The 25ft cord is out of stock at the moment, but if anyone orders it, be
sure to write the list and let us know how it works
