Ultima IV - How to save settings? [message #395082]

Searched for this but couldn't find an answer. Does anyone know if there's a way in Ultima IV to save your settings? Every time I start the game I constantly have to set the Mockingboard slots 4 and 5 as well as Number of drives to 2.

As far as I can tell, it doesn't save them anywhere.
I suspect that the code would need to be patched.
