[ please pardon the indirect reply - don't know internet/bitnet gate proto]
in response to the John Papadapolous query: Motorola or any of its distributors
(Hamilton-Avnet, Hall-Mark, etc.) can offer you source or object for a
Pascal compiler or 68k assembler for most any VERSAbus or VMEbus based
system, running either VERSAdos or SYSTEM V/68 (our trademark for the
validated-by-AT&T UNIX System V, Release 1 for M68000). moreover, bundled
with UNIX, there is a C compiler (source, of course, is the usual ~$40k).
and, to avoid the suggestion of parochialism, Whitesmiths, Alcyon,
and Digital Research sell C compilers for UNIX or VERSAdos. DRI also
offers several other languages for UNIX for CP/M-68k or Concurrent DOS-68K.
