I am currently in the market for a machine that runs UNIX, or
a very good look-a-like.
Virtual Paging would be a major asset for it's UNIX.
It needs to be able to support 8-12 (simultaneous) users well.
It needs to have at least 50M of disk space.
It needs to have a good secondary storage device
(ie <4 storage volumes to back up the entire file system)
Some kind of high speed communications links would be nice.
Ethernet would be nice.
It should be available in Canada, and have a good record for reliability.
Some provisions for preventive Maintenance contracts would also be nice.
