Subject: Los Angeles Area info

Heres some good info for any gamer living or visiting Los Angeles,
especially elcapitano69.

The LA area does have some cool shops, most of which will unfortunately not
have turbo games. Japan Video games is a very cool shop though and they
MIGHT have some Turbo and other vintage game stuff. Cool people there too.

Hyper game action is another great import game shop with great people,
probably no turbo games. Try to avoid Game Dude though. The people are a bit
scummy and they have a SUPER NASTY habit of slapping these metal stickers on
ALL of their used games. Its basically impossible to remove them without
messing up the surface the sticker was stuck too.

One place I HIGHLY recommend is the downtown LA Little Tokyo area. There is
an AWESOME book store called the Kinokuniya book store. It is located near
the New Otani hotel and the AMAZINGLY delicious Curry House restaraunt. This
store has some great art books, soundtracks, posters, DVD's, and some great
little japanese toys. Also definitely go to the Curry house! This is one of
my favorite places to eat! There are actually a few Curry Houses, one in
Little Tokyo, Santa Monica and Torrance.

Another two cool shops are Banzai Anime and Asahiya book store (in Yaohan
shopping plaza) both in Little tokyo. I dont have all the numbers and
addresses for these places but they will all be listed.
Little Tokyo has TONS of shops some of which I am sure I am unaware of. It
is great fun to spend an afternoon down there exploring. It is about as
close to being in Japan as one/I can get.

Glenn
