Hey, Retrogames missed out, I repaired my own system! Found some info in
the archives regarding laser alignment, and now my system is back up and
running! =)
Anyways, I am in need of an Arcade Card Duo. Anyone interested in
selling that to me? Please send me an email.
Erik
PS: I am so sorry for bombarding the list with so many messages, I am
just really getting back into my Duo and loving it. Especially since I
modded it to play Japanese Hucards!

Looks like I spoke a little too soon. It appears that the Duo is only
partially repaired. Some games are working and others are not. Most of
my games are ok, but Dracula X either fails to load or will load and
then lose music durring gameplay. I am guessing that Dracula X really
pushes this system, and maybe I need to tweak the laser calibration a
little bit. Any ideas???

Call me stupid but when I put in my new T-bank I get the 3 options which
seem to be write from Bank to Console, Console to Bank, and something
which looks like swapping both ways...
Does anyone know what it is? Can I leave the Bank in while I play games
and save games directly to it? Do I have to change a battery in it once
X-number of years? Any other details?

The bank is only for saving information FROM the Duo's already established
memory banks. You can't save games directly on to it, as far as I know. I
might be horribly wrong and there might be one or two specialty CD games that
support such a feature, but I doubt it.

The 3rd option allows you to swap your Duo's backup RAM with one of the
Tennokoe Memory banks.

That's what a mean- Sync? See, I didn't know that's what the 3rd option
was..heh
1st option is write from the Duo to the Bank
2nd option is from Bank to the Duo
3rd, you say, is some kind of Sync? And what does THAT do?
Oh, am I just supposed to copy my duo's memory to the bank, then it
seems to hang, so I reset the Duo..is that the correct thing to do?
Sorry I'm so stupid in regards to this thing..grin
Thanks!
