If I knew then what I know now, there would be NO way I would have purchased the Apple monitor that comes with the GS. BTW, Trinitron also makes an excellent TV monitor. Perhaps you are stone deaf, or don't you don't utilize the "sound" features in the Apple IIgs. That damn thing is so noisy, you can hardly hear the speaker unless you turn it way up.
