The postscript guys want to use postscript so they can include figures
and other graphical information. How about doing it this way:

Start with some text text text text text text text text text 
more text text text text text text text text text text text text 
and more text text text text text text text text text text 
text text text text text text text text text text text text 
#!some magic line.
P(OSTSCRIPT) TYPE {stuff}
#!some other magic line.

Converting this to something either postscript or text folks can deal
with would be a SMOP.
