I have a need for software to make 3-d images of bone structures of
persons who are scanned by magnetic resonance imaging devices. The
images need to be in the form of mathematical models, from which we
can calculate distances and angles.

I'm hoping such stuff exists somewhere already. I would really like
it if it works on Macintosh, but that's not an absolute requirement:
we just need to do this without spending forever making measurements
on each individual, and with an ability to store the data for later
review and comparison.

Anyone know of such stuff in existence?
