     I have a ZUCKERBOARD 1200 bps modem and it has worked flawlessly for
about a year now ( since purchase). Yesterday I upgraded my Multi I/O board
to allow another serial port and althought I followed the instructions to
configure my modem to COM3 ( COM1 and COM2 are now serial ports) it isn't
working properly.
     The modem will call ok ... I can hear the other machine answer and mine
wil[D[A[K[D[B[B[A[A[B     The modem will call ok.. and I can hear
the other machine answer and mine will answer back... but thats where it
seems to end..I don't get the  "CONNECT" message and am sort of left in
limbo... I had to remove the extra serial port and reconfigure my modem to
COM2 in order to call the BBS. ...Any suggestions... " Get a new modem " is
not acceptable.
