Has anyone ever done this with AE? It seems that the xmodem protocol it uses is not compatible the the one on our Unix system. I looks like AE's waiting for the sending system to give it a header record that contains the file type, etc. It gives a 'bad start' error and quits after 10 tries. Any opinions? I'm trying to bootstrap load the Kermit program onto my Apple, but I can't get the darn thing downloaded. Does anyone have a small xmodem terminal program that I can use instead of Ascii Express? Something I could use to get Kermit? I'm also having trouble getting AE's VT52 emulator working. It doesn't seem to recognize any of the escape sequences.
