One of our student consultants discovered a bug with the help program:

brings up the above problem.

I found my way out of this problem by choosing QUIT from the
help window's menu.

This is running help off the X11R3 tape on an IBM RT. Does anyone have
an idea why this behavior is happening? Is it a bug in help or a
configuration problem.

I suspect that help opens a socket when it starts up, and subsequently
listens to that socket for additional help requests. Of course, this
doesn't help explain the sudden CPU load.
