For anyone doing anything > interesting, I think that 2MB would be the desirable minimum. As far as that We have been testing a liitle bit that 19" Visual X-terminal too with 1 MB RAM. The only problem seemed to be that when you open one window too many: it crashes. And it does this without warning.
