I recently got nethack 3.0 for the ST. It looks like a good implementation,
only I am dissapointed by the ST system font's line drawing capability
(actaully, the lack thereof :-). I have a desk accessory that changes the
system font to other fonts, but there is no source, nor is there any hint of
*how* to actually do this!

I would like to have a program, or better yet, source for a routine, to change
individual characters in the character set. You see, I like nethack with nice
"boxy" rooms, and one could certainly come up with some nice characters for
webs, chests, stairs, etc. if only you could change the character set!

Of course, if it is only possible to completely swap out the built-in font,
and swap in a new one, you could always copy the alphanumeric characters from
the system font, and then design new ones for nethack.

I have MWC (and gcc) and a font editor, all I need is some info! Any pointers
would be appreciated!

Thanks,
