I am looking into using a SUN 4/390 as a timesharing compute server. This
machine would often have several cpu-intensive tasks running as well as a
typical (light) timesharing mix of 20-50 users. Does anyone have any
experience running a SUN-4 in this type of environment? I realize there
are not too many 4/390s out there, how about people using 4/280s?
Problems, performance, memory issues?
