I am looking for an alternative to the Imagewriter and Laserwriter
printers for an AppleTalk network. Most of what we do is wordprocessing-
we do very little in the way of graphics. Imagewriter quality graphics are
fine for our purposes. However, we do need something that can print text
a bit faster. Something like an HP LaserJet would be nice but it seems like
the only ways I've seen to hook it up to a AppleTalk network are fairly
expensive. At this point the only alternatives I see are using a
used Laserwriter at $2400 or an Imagewriter with the AppleTalk card
at $600. Does anyone know of any options that fall somewhere in between
these-say in the $1200-1500 range?

Thanks
