There's a terrific product called "Sourcer" from V Communications. Alas, I don't know their address or phone #. It does excellent disassembly, with comments (!) on things it can discern (like DOS calls). You will have to have a reasonable handle on assembler, but reading it is a lot easier than writing it. Sourcer's output is terrific. It is a commercial product, so I'm afraid it will cost you, but I don't think it's exorbitant.
