   Yes.  Anything that moves directories in an SYS V compatible way.  Rename(2)
   is a BSD-ism.

SYSV has /usr/lib/mv_dir, a binary which needs to be setuid root.  I
think Frank is talking about the *script* /etc/mvdir which needs to be
run by root; there is no /usr/lib/mvdir on HP-UX.

I don't think that script is needed, just as /etc/link and /etc/unlink
are unnecessary; it is probably necessary for customers to point this
out before HP gets rid of them.
