Keywords: Xaw load Sys5 Message-ID: <170@talarian.UUCP> Date: 25 Sep 89 10:47:12 GMT Followup-To: poster Distribution: usa Organization: Talarian Corp., Mountain View Lines: 19 Is there a version of the Athena load widget that works on System V/386 3.2? I am using AT&T's XWIN on a BellTech 80386, and xload (which just creates a load widget) from the R3 tape compiles OK, but when I run it I get this message: "xload: cannot get name list from /vmunix" After poking around in the R3 load widget source, I see that it is trying to find the variable "avenrun" in my kernel, which is named /unix, not /vmunix. I wish AT&T would have fixed this before they released the software :-(. I tried "nm /unix | grep avenrun", but this came up empty. Does System V have something similar to "avenrun"? I really miss xload... -- Scott Weitzenkamp UUCP: uunet!talarian!scott Talarian Corporation ARPA: scott@talarian.uu.net "Welcome to the late show, starring NULL and void" -- Men At Work
