Message-ID: <46107@bbn.COM> Date: 26 Sep 89 19:04:59 GMT Sender: news@bbn.COM Lines: 20 I think Active Electronics is great. You can go in there and buy quantity one of reasonably up-to-date chips, current date code, for reasonable prices, over the counter. I've never seen anyone else offering Rockwell 8070 T-1 chips off the rack! Since Active is a branch of Future Electronics, a "real" parts distributor, they can get just about any chips that their manufacturers sell. BUT: They aren't distributors for all manufacturers. In particular, they don't sell National chips. I want to be able to get small quantities of DS8390, LM1881, ??16550 (I think that's National), and other goodies. Where can I get those? Advice, anyone? Thanks, Bob Clements, K1BC, clements@bbn.com
