Not a bad idea, but as a resident of a very old log home, I can tell
you a more useful one:

   A back issue of Radio Electronics, rolled up into a swatter.
   As it gets cold, the wasps get really, really sloooooow.

As for ultrasonics, I think its been shown many times that the idea
is great, but it just doesn't work.  Just recently a university
study showed that the "deer repellers" for on cars worked very well
for only one purpose--gaining immediate profits for the marketers.
