ispell is wonderful, written for UNIX.  It is usable standalone or from
GnuEmacs.  The README file contains the following (probably out-of-date):

	Walt Buehring
	Texas Instruments - Computer Science Center

	ARPA:  Buehring%TI-CSL@CSNet-Relay
	UUCP:  {smu, texsun, im4u, rice} ! ti-csl ! buehring


Another person who did some maintenance is:

Maybe you can find the source and tell people where to ftp it.
