It use to work on my GS until I let some co-workers take the GS for a couple days. I just tried another NEW SCSI card(from a dealer), 3 different cables, and 2 different terminators. I have direct booted off of a CD(no drivers needed here), and also used drivers to use CD's. Tuesday afternoon I am going to try another Apple CD player to see what the problem could possibly be. I have also tried a different GS to rule that possiblitly out. This seems pretty strange, but can only think that the CD player is having trouble, unless the new scsi card I tried was having trouble? I also tried every possible slot, and of course set the slot as your card. Anyone have this problem? Or is this just my week of problems? Scott Hutinger mmpr004@ecncdc.bitnet (P.S. The GS will not recognize the CD player at all)
