Ever take a look at the schematics for the original Apple II?  All SSI and
MSI parts... one semester of digital design was all I needed to fully
understand the schematics for the entire computer...

If nothing else, the Apple II should live on as an example of how a little,
very basic technology can be synthesized into a really neat computer.
