Keywords: SCO DISK CONTROLLERS HARDCARD Message-ID: <2746@trantor.harris-atd.com> Date: 3 Oct 89 20:39:35 GMT Sender: news@trantor.harris-atd.com Reply-To: wcurtiss@x102c.harris-atd.com (Curtiss WC 67625) Organization: Harris Corporation GSS, Melbourne, Florida Lines: 16 References: A collegue, for reasons I cannot go into, is attempting to get SCO Xenix to work on a Grid computer with a hardcard. SCO works fine on a duplicate system with an internal hard drive, and DOS works ok with the Hardcard on this system, but when SCO is booted, it cannot find any fixed disks. Has anyone done this before? I'm sorry that I don't have specifics such as version numbers, but if anyone has gotten this combination to work, he will change his software/hardware to match. Its for a proof of concept demo and about the only fixed requirements are some version of Xenix, a Grid computer, and some brand of hardcard. I don't regularly read this newsgroup, so mail would be preferred. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- William Curtiss 407/984-6383 | "The only good martyr Harris GISD, Melbourne, FL 32902 | is a dead martyr."
