Has anyone done this? Is any extra hardware required for converting the bitstream into something the digital input can take? How is the the cable wired? I'm planning on writing some software to deal with reading this input, and converting it to a .snd file. Has this already been done? On a similar note, where can I find literature describing the format of the digital bitstream from the CD player/PCM recorder? --- David Jedlinsky | The ideas expressed here do not necessarily Digital Equipment Corporation | reflect the views of of my employer. dcj@decvax.dec.com
