I seem to remember that, while F works with or without the command key, K used to require the command key. However, trying it now under System 6.0.3, I find that both work without the command key. Is this the case with all systems? If so, I will omit mention of the command key altogether. I don't want to claim anything specific to individual applications, and F by itself works just fine in MD II the way I described. As for waiting for the dialog box, of course that is correct, but it is at a level of detail that I would prefer to avoid. The goal is not to provide a complete explanation, but to indicate a way to approach the problem.
