As a point of information, HP is using a standard network which DOES allow
exchange to the HP world.  Most likely the machine in question is not on
an open subnet, which means non-HP machines are blocked from accessing it.
This is done so that each and every system administrator does not have to
worry about the security headaches necessary to prevent an unfriendly cracker
from worming his/her way into HP-private systems.
