Unfortunately, I think the only way to do this is to get into the guts of the printing code and understand how it works. This is one of the Macs (and MACL's) known weaknesses. With luck, some future of MACL will have a nice hardcopy interface. For now, you probably have to resort to Inside Macintosh. sigh. -andrew
