The printer works (self-test), and the computer communicates with the printer, (on-line/off-line - pauses), but I can't get it to print out anything by: 1) command: A>type filename.ext > prn 2) command: A>print filename.ext (etc.etc.) 3) thru any program. I think this might be because it might not be initialized. The [rather incomp- lete] manual says the printer will be initialized if a ~PRIME~ signal is recieved, and if a printer reset command is recieved. I can find the latter, but the manual does not describe what a PRIME signal is. a) if you can tell me, please respond. b) if you know what would be causing this, please repsond. Please respond by EMAIL only. -John C. Burant, Glendale, WI johnb@lakesys.lakesys.com
