As others have pointed out ver 1.1 doesn't halt the job on > mono, herc, or cga when you change screens. Personally I'm using ver > 1.01 and VGA, so I'm screwed both ways... ;-) I use Simul-Task 2.0 (which is VPIX 1.01 modifed by ATT) on a Vega VGA and don't see this problem. I used Telix (a dos comm program) and downloaded files, with turboc compiling a program in another dos window, and a couple of unix apps running in other virtual terminals and flip back and forth between them. The two problems I have noticed are some dos programs like to switch to some screen mode that blanks the the screen. And when I use the 50 line mode in VGA my cursor disappears. Anyone know with this screen mode switch that's causeing this? Or a tsr that I can use to get it back. I know the program is still running in the background because I can use the keyboard and blindly exit the program. ---Bob -- Bob Palowoda packbell!indetech!palowoda *Home of Fiver BBS* login: bbs Home {sun|dasiy}!ys2!fiver!palowoda (415)-623-8809 1200/2400 Work {sun|pyramid|decwrl}!megatest!palowoda (415)-623-8806 2400/9600/19200 TB Voice: (415)-623-7495 Public access UNIX XBBS
