Recently I read about the possibility to send a very small spacecraft
to Pluto, using magnetic force fields to accelerate the thing.
How realistic is this option. It would mean that a journey would not
last for 16 years, but only for a few years, which would make it
possible to reach Pluto in about 2004.
About the size: approx. the size of a large jar (or a coffee pot).
