	I teach this as GOOD programming style.  Especially for software
engineering.  An addition to the BEGIN/END bracketed code consists of
just adding the new code, and not inserting a BEGIN, END, and checking
for semicolons on the pre-existing code.

	As you said, this is largely an opinion call, but I really feel
it reduces errors when new statements are added.
