California Lines: 12 Has anybody looked at Hwang's book, _Computer Arithmetic_, 1979? Is it any good? I'm thinking about doing the design for a simple FPU for a term project, and would like a little more detail than his book _Computer Architecture and Parallel Processing_ provides. I suppose it would really be better to ask the question generally: has anybody seen a good book on computer arithmetic, particularly one that has relevance to high-speed floating point chips that have hit the market in the last few years? --Rod
