Can MacTCP be configured to ignore RIP Packets?

We have a situation where the ability to enter a static route in the 
AdminTCP window, and have only that route be used, would be very
helpful.  Unfortunately, MacTCP appears to ignore this entry if a RIP
packet is recieved.  Can this behaviour be controlled?
