I got the fixes to run xperfmon under SunOS 4.0.3 on my 3/60,
and only one thing is wrong now: I can only get it to open
a remote display if it is given (on the command line or in $DISPLAY)
in the form :0 ; :0 and :0
don't work.
- All my old SunOS3-compiled binaries have no such
trouble opening displays when run on the same SunOS4 machines
- the target display is properly xhost'ed
- Oddly enough, xperfmon complains
can't open dislay '(null)'
when $DISPLAY == :0, but knows enough to complain
can't open display ':0'
when :0 is given on the command line.
Has anyone seen this kind of behavior before?
