Nope.  ProDOS 8 1.8 was *not* changed to actually allow lowercase characters
in filenames.  It was only changed to not barf when it sees the bits in a
subdirectory's directory entry that show GS/OS's ProDOS FST which characters
are lowercase.  See GS/OS Technical Note #8 for more information.
