A few days ago, a blank article with this signature appeared on rec.arts.misc:

Steve Saroff later wrote back that he had not posted it and had no
knowledge of who had.

Just now, a similar article attributed to Charley Wingate  
(normally mangoe@mimsy.umd.edu) appeared on talk.religion.misc:
