For those of you who haven't visited your local Mac store in the last
week (as well as those who frequent places that aren't quite as
current as ComputerWare), the new trial by ordeal from Cliff Johnson
is now available. It's called The Puzzle Gallery: At The Carnival.
The theme this time is an exceedingly sleazy amusement park, with all
the puzzles relating to rides, attractions and other facilities at the
park.

There are fewer individual types of puzzles than in Fool's Errand and
there's no coordinated story tying the whole thing together. On the
other hand, the puzzles are properly engrossing, the graphics are well
done and there's the added fun of sound effects.

The game is packaged as two separate components: the game program and
the file containing the puzzles. Promises are made for regular
release of new puzzles. Personally, I'll be looking forward to them.
Of course, I still have to figure out the last few from this one...
