I was under the impression that much of Color QuickDraw, and therefore 32-Bit QD, was coded using '020 instructions, and therefore wouldn't work on a 68000 based machine. If what Alex heard was indeed right, I'd love to hear some of the reason's why. Not a flame on Apple, I'm just wondering if Apple might be preparing for the future. An 030 based portible with Color LCD. Anyways I'm just curious... Any comments will be appreciated. Note: Any speculation above is just that. I have heard nothing to indicate that this speculation is true. Just wishful thinking at this point in time. -- \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\|///////////////////////////////////////// David M.
