KidWriter is put out be FirstByte along with several other talking
educational s/w packages (spelling, math, first letters/words, etc.) They
are quite simple and have limited features, but are very user friendly. The
versions I have are came out under ProDOS 16 and will not work under GSOS
sys. disk 5.0. I heard somewhere that the series is no longer supported,
but I don't know that for a fact.

Thay all talk, however, they use the sound chip, (not digitized sound like
Reader Rabbit), so they are hard to understand and it takes some getting
use to.
