Message-ID: <9548@attctc.Dallas.TX.US> Date: 2 Oct 89 15:26:32 GMT Organization: The Unix(R) Connection, Dallas, Texas Lines: 11 Hello, World! I'd like some input on a problem that I'm having. I am trying to fool the Dialog Manager into letting me have an edit text box of > 255 characters input, but I've run into some problems. Apparently SetIText does more than setting the TEHandle in the dialog record, because when I did that (plus a few other calls to InvalRect(viewRect) and TEUpdate(viewRect)) the Dialog Manager just ignored me. Is there anybody out there that has managed to trick the Dialog Manager? If so,I'd like to hear from you. =-Tjeng-Bo Lie->
