THIS IS EXCELLENT ADVICE!  A gold star to Chuq.  Along the same
lines, I would recommend anyone not completely alienated from
mathematics to take a course in geometry -- the proofs teach one
how to organize arguments logically (hence the expression,
"learning all the angles" {|8^)]   ).
