As regards to GNU Emacs, (I would suggest you make sure you have the latest
version (18.55) for AIX), in the file etc/distrib, you will find order
information for manuals and reference cards.  Invest in 1 or a few manuals.
It is $15 for 1, or $60 for 6 GNU Emacs manuals.  It's well worth the price.
