I have resently been working my way through a text on Matrix Computations
(Golub and Van Loan) and it occured to me that it might be possible to
use a DSP to perform some of the matrix math operations...

(a) Does anyone know of good sources on applying DSP technology to matrix
     mathematics?

(b) Is anyone out there currently doing work in this area?

(c) In particular, are there NeXTites out there using their local 56K DSP
     for such applications?

thanks,
