I have read the news on Megatapes (from Steve Pattinson - Aug 89 and Victoria Day - Jul 89). From Cybernetics literature, it appears their EXB-8200 is a very good solution. I am interested in it's true sustained transfer rate (they say it can sustain 15 MB/min., but the Pyramid can only send at 13-14MB/min.). Also, can you daisy-chain it from either the default 1600 bpi Cipher tape drive, or the 6250 GCR tape drive ?
