I understand that a cooling fan will extend the working life of a Macplus.
I intend to upgrade to 4 Megs of Memory and wish to install a fan to help
with the cooling process. I see from the advertising literature there are fans
available for most MACs.

Any recommendations as to which one?
Are they powered from the Macs internal power supply ( 12volts whatever)
or are they connected directly to the Mains supply...I would need a
240 volt fan if mains connection was the case.

Also Chip merchants are either unable or unwilling to sell 1 Meg Simms to
me in New Zealand. Are there any reputable dealers out there who will supply
1 Meg Simms for a Macplus. If so what is their contact number?

Regards Bruce Muschamp.
