Publishing in the paper domain is not what RFCs are all about - just expand the name. Note that this discussion is not about electronic publishing; it is about RFCs - to be able to cite and debate them in an electronic media - not about printing them. The RFCs should never have been made available in printed form - they should have been put on disk, tape, or even CD-ROM, not on paper for distribution outside the Internet access world. We have enough trouble with vendor implementations of network software without giving them yet another excuse - not being able to read them because they can't print them. --Frank
