I believe these indicate a basic lack of understanding of the syntax requirements of the language. Regarding the indentation conventions and upper/lower case usage, these are simply style issues. If the instructor has definite requirements in this area, the student is required to oblige (the same holds in industry when certain documentation requirements must be followed). I personally see no problem with the style used. The indentation seems to indicate that the student understands the semantics of these statements. The semi-colon issue is another thing indeed! --------------------------------------------------------------------- Tim Margush R1TMARG@AKRONVM.BITNET Department of Mathematical Sciences R1TMARG@VM1.CC.UAKRON.EDU University Of Akron R1TMARG@AKRONVM.UAKRON.EDU Akron, OH 44325 (216) 375-7109
