Keywords: crypt, des, encryption Message-ID: <2117@ethz.UUCP> Date: 1 Oct 89 19:17:36 GMT Organization: ETH Zuerich Lines: 16 I am developing an application for SCO Xenix and MS-DOS. The "crypt" routine exists in the Xenix libraries, but not in the DOS cross- development libraries. My application uses crypt. 1) Is there a public-domain implementation (w/source) of the UNIX "crypt" library call? 2) Alternatively: Does a public-domain implementation of the DES algorithm exist, and from where can it be obtained? (European sites and mail servers preferred) Please e-mail. I will post a summary if appropriate. Thank you, -Guido Hoss
