I have a Tandy 4000, with a rev C1 motherboard. When I bought this
machine, about a year ago, Tandy was not supporting 80387s in this
machine. In the new catalog, I see that they are now. Is this
because they came out with yet another motherboard or because of the
D-step 386s they're getting now? Does the C1 motherboard have the fix
for using '387s with the B-step CPU?
On another note, what's the current BIOS revision for the T4K?

The rev C boards are in the 25-5000A Tandy 4000s. This version
should NOT have a 287 socket & will only have a functional 387 socket.
D step CPUs are labeled 80387DX on the CPU. Rev C boards require
a BIOS of 1.3.3 or greater. Rev A boards were only used in the
Tandy 4000. Rev C & later were used in the 4000 & the 4000LX.

As a note, Rev As had both sockets, but only the 287 socket properly
functioned. Also, Tandy tried very hard to make the manuals match
the mother boards. If you have a C board in a 25-5000A, the manual
should say it will only take a 80387.
