Does anyone know about the availability of various filters to convert
popular document formats to info format. I am looking at the Emacs info
package as a way to present online manuals. However, we have a large
base of existing documents which were developed using several different
utilities including Word, Word Perfect, FrameMaker and a few others.
To redo these documents in texinfo format would not be worth the
effort - besides most of the people who actually write the documents are
much more productive under their current environment than with TeX.
