	But, if you really, REALLY want something close, you can use
	the Ethernet hardware address.  I've been led to believe that
	if you have a socket and use the right ioctl(2)'s you can get
	the hardware address.

	The address chip is socketed so it can be moved to a different
	CPU board if there is need to.
