The problem is that I want to *add* a directory to the path. We have a directory with additions to the lisp code collection in a directory EMACS_LIBRARY:[LOCAL.LISP] that I would like in the search path. Setting the EMACSLOADPATH variable doesn't work correctly for multiple directory names. I tried putting this in site-init.el but it still doesn't set load-path. Is there anything I can do short of a recompile? We're running GNU Emacs 18.55 on a VAX/VMS 5.1-B. roland --- Roland Roberts BITNET: roberts@uornsrl Nuclear Structure Research Lab INTERNET: rbr4@uhura.cc.rochester.edu 271 East River Road UUCP: rochester!ur-cc!uhura!rbr4 Rochester, NY 14267 AT&T: (716) 275-8962
