Actually, the error checking is sloppy if you are using a non-error-corrected
dialup lines. Whenever an error occurs, the sending side has to back up and
retransmit starting from the block with the error, and that could be a lot of
data. (Or has ZModem added per-window retransmission and I just missed it?)
