I work at the Graphics Lab in Michigan State University's Computer Center, so we get plenty of people coming through to use our MacII and scanner. A fellow came in the other day and when he inserted his disk into the Mac, the machine locked up. We run VACCINE, and Disinfectant 1.2. After restarting the machine, I checked the hard-disk and found nothing, so I inserted his disk again (while Disinfectant was still running) and it locked up again. I was wondering if anyone knew about this. If it is some kind of virus it could be a real nuisance. You couldn't use the disk, or reformat it because you couldn't put it into a machine. The only thing I can think of doing is using a bulk eraser. If anyone has anything, help me out... CCC
