Yeah and I need them as well. This seems to be a common occurance
and brings up a question in my mind. The C news sources were posted
to comp.sources.unix were they not? Then why in h*ll aren't the official
patches posted there as well. The moderator there recently, as well as
the one for comp.misc, assured everyone that patches are given expidited
treatment. These moderated groups are automatically archived on many sites
(mine included) but there is no way we can archive every conceivable news
group where someone might post a patch. POST THE PATCHES WHERE YOU POSTED THE
SOURCES!! This was at the heart of a long and sometimes bitter discusion
of creating "comp.sources.patches". The group failed and the discusion
finally wound down only after Rick Saltz (comp.sources.unix) and others kicked
in and assure one and all of their support for patches in the groups.

To the authors of C news: Give us a break and post all patches PAST,
PRESENT, and FUTURE to comp.source.unix WHERE THEY BELONG! This should make
life simpler on all of us and cut way down on this "Where can I find patches"
bullsh*t. This goes for the authors of other related packages as well.
Post your patches where you posted your sources. We are not all long distance
mind readers out here on the net.
