Subject: Power-on password problem with PS/2-50 and DOS 4

Hello everybody!

I have IBM PS/2-50 with PC-DOS 4.01. Today I noticed, that the power-on
password does not work with DOS 4. Before I thought the power-on
password was a hardware trick, but now I found out that when I boot my
computer up using DOS 3.3, it prompts for password and works OK, but if
I boot it up using DOS 4, it completely seems to ignore the power-on
password. Has anybody else had this problem? Any solutions, suggestions?
By the way, I'm very pleased with my DOS 4 so far, so I wouldn't like to
change back to DOS 3.3.
