When you mean DOG, how long did it take?

I just finished backing up about 240 Mbytes with fbackup, 9-track
1600 bpi tape drive (6 full tapes). The tape drive flew the whole
time, but with rewinds, mounting and unmounting tapes the elapsed
time was 1-hour and twenty minutes.

I have a 9145 about to go online, which I hope will give me
more (unattended) backup service (changing one tape is easier than 5
changes with the 9-track).

Better alternative: DAT when is it coming? I need it now (AND ON
HPIB)!
