I have a question on backgrounds that will be pretty easy for you
XWW (X Window Wiz's).

I need to create a new background screen. I have a file that has
data describing a series of lines and I have a bitmap that displays
another series of lines. I can create create a window that
displays these lines in it, but I want to keep that display around
after the pgm has stopped executing and I don't want to click on
that window and have it come to the top of the "stack" of windows.

I have looked at the xgranite program in the src tapes, but am having
trouble transferring what I see there, to what I want to do.

I hope that this is a deceent question for you folks, I am relatively
new to X.
