It is *not* true that a stock  Amiga cannot be used to do any job any
other computer can do.  Let's get this straight right now.

However, it is also true that the stock Amiga can be quickly and easily
upgraded into a very friendly and easy to use machine with PD and 
commercial software, with more ram and with more hardware.  

There are those who are unhappy with the stock Amiga.  They feel many
of the utilities available from third parties should come standard with
the machine.  And these feelings are shared by the large number of 
programmers who create those utilities and the large number of users
who utilize them (like me! :> ).  

So lets avoid name-calling and loaded words.  You got a gripe, send it 
out as a flame.  You got a suggestion or a question or a report or some
news then put it here.  And you can always send email to CATS.
