Thanks to all the people who answered my question. Since reply-by-mail
didn't seem to work in most cases, i am posting again.
	The problem was a switch that ought to be in 'Internal System
Disabled' position. If this was enabled, Parallel C programs could not run
on a network of many transputers. The only (minor) inconvenience is that
TDS-multiple transputer programs need this switch enabled, so you have to
keep switching on and off if you need both environments (not my case).
