The following items are available *FOR FREE* (almost):

      Commodore 64 Games Book by C. & M. Ramshaw (1983);
      The COMAL Handbook, 2nd Edition by L. Lindsay (1983,84);
      Pet/CBM Personal Computer Guide, 2nd Edition
            by Osborne & Donahue (1980)
      Simon's Basic (C64 Cartridge & Manual) (Date Unknown).
These are culled from what my MIT grad son left behind in his
abandoned nest.  No charge for any of these, but you must pick
up (I live 20 miles west of Philadelphia, PA) or pay shipping.
