I've been working on a game program which I will soon be needing to port to
the IBM world. The original of the game is in MPW C on the Mac.

I've gone to a fair amount of trouble to isolate the mac-specific calls so
the porting job will be easier. But it occurs to me that there may be
enough incompatabilityes between MPW and SOME MS-DOS C compilers to give
me troubles.

Does anyone have any suggestions on the best "C" langauge development
system for the IBM, to be used to port MPW code from a Mac?

Also, if there is an IBM environment that DOES NOT require the program's
end user to have special software, but provides a windowed interface
similar to the mac...I would be interested in hearing about it.

I'm sure SOMEONE out there has spent time porting Mac code to an IBM :-)
Any suggestions on how to speed the process or what IBM development system
works best would be appreciated!
