I wanted to make a hypercard stack to print nametags. I created the picture, and the text fields (4 fields per card). I don't have a laserwriter, so I always spool my printing jobs to a file. If I "print card", it takes 47K, a little high, considering a screen bitmap only requires 22K of memory. But if I "Print Stack" on 4 cards, it takes 1.2 RIDICULOUS MEGABYTES TO STORE!!?! And we need to print 200 cards?!?! This is outrageous. I can't afford to upload these monster files to *any* printer, even at 9600 baud. What am I doing wrong? Using Hypercard?
