Actually, tracking fonts by ID is the method almost all Mac softwares go by. So it is the user's responsibility to make sure the fonts installed has the "standard" ID. Or, you could always bring your system with you and boot from it. You might think, why don't the softwares keep track of the Fonts by their names? The answer is:I don't know, but I _think_(can't guerantee) Cricket Draw and PageMaker is using that method. My opinion: MS-Word4.0 is one of the nicest thing in the world!
