Kermit is copyrighted by the Trustees of Columbia University.
It is freely redistributable, and kermit protocols may be
incorporated in commercial products, but it IS NOT PD.
If you can't find it for free locally, you can mail-order from
Columbia ($20ish including hardcopy documentation, viruses not
included). Internet, BITNET, and anonymous UUCP distributions
are also available. More information: comp.protocols.kermit on
usenet, or Info-Kermit-Request@watsun.cc.columbia.edu.

The latest version for MSDOS is 2.32/A--it fixes several problems
with 2.31 and a MAJOR bug in 2.32. If you have MS Windows, you
might want to get the separare Windows Kermit too.
