No problem to put in a new raw drive. Seagate makes them, Quantum makes them,
Miniscribe makes them. You choose the manufacturer. Take pretty much any raw
drive brand X compatible software and format the HD with the driver software
on the floppy, and it should work fine. For doing that sort of thing, I highly
recommend UniMac's software. It will format ANY drive to my knowledge and
offers partitioning etc.
