Hi. I need some kind soul to point me to where I might be able
to find some documentation on what you shouldn't allow on
systems connected to the Internet.

Specifically, I am an Admin. of two 386i workstations, currently
on Internet. For obvious reasons I disabled the default capability
of allowing users (anyone) to create their own account. Because
of department politics, I find myself in the position of having
to defend this action with something more than my own word, that
this is a major security breach and should not be allowed on the
network.

Are there any references, papers, archived do's and dont's, or
anything else I could use out there? Thanks muchly for any help!
Please reply by email.
Thanks

Al.
