Message-ID: <11185@burdvax.PRC.Unisys.COM> Date: 17 Aug 89 20:01:16 GMT Sender: news@PRC.Unisys.COM Organization: Unisys Corporation, Paoli Research Center; Paoli, PA Lines: 22 References: My son has used Videoworks II (at a summer camp) and now wants a copy. I've seen a little of it--the animation is pretty good, and it seems to have about a hundred built-in sounds. Has anyone out there used this or similar animation programs? What should I look for (and look out for) in these programs? What are the main competitors to Videoworks? I don't want to buy Videoworks if there is something clearly better! I've heard of Studio 1; is this the same kind of thing? This would be for recreation and general use, so factors that contribute to ease-of-use and enjoyability are probably more important than quality of the finished product (within limits, of course). I have a Mac+, so color support is not a concern. Please email me. If I get enough information/opinions I will post a summary to the net. -- Dave Matuszek (dave@prc.unisys.com) -- Unisys Corp. / Paoli Research Center / PO Box 517 / Paoli PA 19301 -- Any resemblance between my opinions and those of my employer is improbable.
