The executable that activates the protocols is /etc/dodini. If this is run
with the -a switch it should give you more information on why the protocols

The clearinghouse is there for your connvenience. The clearinghouse is 
specifically set up to handle the XNS protocols that Intergraph supports and
is used as a vehicle to automatically update Intergraph /etc/host files.
In your configuration, with only one Intergraph workstation, the clearinghouse
is used to store the internet address of your workstation. (/usr/lib/nodes/owned/nodename) The /etc/host file will need to be edited to include all 
non_intergraph nodes.
