    I spoke with a friend earlier this evening who said he saw an ad in
a Macintosh magazine for a product called "Nodem", by Adaptec (the harddrive-
interface people, I assume) that plugs into an Ethernet plug and a SCSI
port and translates between the two.

   Wow.  Has anyone else heard of this?  I wonder why no one thought of it
sooner...  If it works on the Mac SCSI port, I imagine someone could come up
with a GS/OS driver for it.

    I want to check with Adaptec tomorrow and see what I can find out.  If
anyone else has any info or leads, please post them...
