I used to have lots of bootable Workbench disks. That is until I upgraded to
1.3 last year. First I tried the direct approach, upgrading each disk one by
one. Unfortunately, each one had a different subset of Workbench environment
and the task of re-hacking each disk was so large that I just chucked the whole
idea and concentrated on developing one, general disk. I now have only two
bootables: Workbench (general) and my Compiler disk. The later has a special
startup-sequcence to get me back up and running as fast as possible after a
GURU. I was able to convert entirely to ARP in an evening, something I never
could have done with the old system.
