This is a request for info on the Simulation Manager, a mixed-level/mixed-mode
simulator system offered by Silicon Compiler Systems. Let me first
summarize what I now know (based on an article in High Performance
Systems of June 89):

- The Simulation Manager is built around the SCS product Lsim. Lsim has
for some time be provided as a part of the GDT module design environment.

- The Simulation Manager provides means to couple other simulators to
Lsim, allowing several simulators to cooperate in the simulation of one
system. Several coupling mechanisms are provided, allowing a trade-off
between efficiency and amount of work involved.

I would be very grateful for any information on this product that is
more solid than the above. In particular, I would like to learn more
about:

- algorithms used to run a multiple-simulator simulation.

- impressions from seeing the product (e.g. on a demo).

- experiences with actual use.

- experiences with coupling simulators to the manager (How much work,
how much do you need to know about the simulator's internals, are
  results satisfactory)

- experiences with analog/digital and analog systems (The capability to
simulate high-performance analog designs would be one of our
  requirements).

Please mail any knowledge you want to share to the e-mail address below.
I will post a summary of results, if there is any response.

Thanks,
