There are several programs for the Macintosh which can buffer the input
from the modem while letting you scroll back through already received
material. So, I could be printing out a 20 page manual from the host, and
reading it at my own pace, scrolling through it. while I am doing this,
the new stuff is still being received, and placed in the buffer properly.
The version of Uniterm I have (2.0d) is close - it will record stuff, but
you can only see stuff that has already come in, ie: if new stuff comes in
while you're in "View History Buffer" mode, it won't show up until you exit
that mode and re-enter. If anyone can point me to any package, be it
commercial, shareware or whatever, I'd be eternally grateful.
