Joe Bowbeer from Apollo posted a note on Xperts about getting Apollo to run on the 3500s. He mentioned a file included in the MIT distribution called "apcfont.bin" which is generated from apcfont.pas, and said: > According to Ken Krippner, simply obj2coff'ing apcfont.bin might not be > enough. If you don't have a pascal compiler with which to recompile > apcfont.pas, you may also need to get a new /bin/ld. Call the Apollo > hotline (1-800-2APOLLO) for details. Ken Krippner was right! So, since I don't have a pascal compiler (although I am working on it) does anyone know a way to get (a) a new /bin/ld that will make this work or (b) a coff version of this file (c) anything else that might make this work. Yes, I am also trying the hotline, but finding the right person may be hard. As far as I can tell, this is the ONLY thing that is holding up X on my 3500s. Please respond directly to me (I don't yet get the xpert dist) at cbridge3 @ ua1vm.ua.edu. Your help would be much appreciated. Clay Bridges
