I am by no means an expert on either PostScript or NeWS, or Display PS for that matter, and I made the curious error of assuming NeWS used DP. I'd like to thank those who set me straight on the matter. NeWS does indeed use regular PostScript, with the sole exception (that I can recall) being that "showpage" is apparently a null function. I have sent identical code to psh and to a LaserWriter and gotten roughly identical output. Oh, yeah, and the font list is different ... _______________________________ \ ... don't ask me, lihan (aka BB/CIV) / I'm just visiting this planet ... @walt.cc.utexas.edu \_________________________________
