Microsoft can't do that because MS-DOS was so inadequate that there was no alternative to breaking the rules, but Commodore regularly breaks badly-behaved software with new releases of the Amiga O/S with only the mildest of whimpers. And Microsoft has less need to kowtow to developers than Commodore, seeing as it has so many more of them. -- Peter da Silva, Xenix Support, Ferranti International Controls Corporation.
