I am interested in a laptop computer which is Mac compatible. Now,
what I mean by 'Mac compatible' is that I want to be able to send files
(data from spreadsheets, WP, etc.) back and forth (mostly from laptop to
Mac) without a big hassle.
So far I have been interested in the Z88 (Cambridge) mini-laptop
because of it's price and size. I also am interested in Toshiba's T-1?00
series, chiefly the T-1100 and the T-1000.

BIG QUESTIONS: Do any of you have experience transfering files back and
forth between IBM-compatible laptops and Macs? Which are the best laptops
for general use, Mac compatibility aside? Is it as simple as a null modem
 cable and some simple software?

BIGGEST QUESTION: What's the best laptop for around $1000.00 (education
 discount included)?

Please e-mail and I will summarize results in a veritable orgy or
 Mac-laptop information. :-)

 Thanks!

	Darren Bush
