I finally managed to compile NH3.0 for PC. I did it with MSC 5.1 and it works
fine. I used the same compiler options as Erik Talvola (in his recent pos
tings
here) but I told the copmpiler to generate code for 80286 processor.
The resulting EXE-file is about 572K long (ie. 2K shorter than with 186 code
generation), and there are at least 4K space to spare! So by no far is Erik's
version of Nethack for PC teh final one. I haven't had time to compile it again
but it should be possible to add few options to config.h and it would still
work.

But let's return to subject, ie. BUGS.
If I don't use the _numberpad_ option the numeric keypad still works as it 
should, but if I use it (as I would like; because of the kick, loot , etc...
commands) the fast movement (ie. SHIFT-direction) doesn't work. Has anybody
else noticed this, or have I done something wrong?

I just hope this is a bug, not a feature!
