So, I could be printing out a 20 page manual from the host, and reading it at my own pace, scrolling through it. while I am doing this, the new stuff is still being received, and placed in the buffer properly. The version of Uniterm I have (2.0d) is close - it will record stuff, but you can only see stuff that has already come in, ie: if new stuff comes in while you're in "View History Buffer" mode, it won't show up until you exit that mode and re-enter. If anyone can point me to any package, be it commercial, shareware or whatever, I'd be eternally grateful. +---------------------- Is there any ESCAPE from NOISE? --------------------+ | | |\ | jsd@gaffa.mit.edu | "I think quotes are very dangerous | | \|on |/rukman | jsd@umass.bitnet | things." -- Kate Bush | +---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
