This switch tells tosread to leave out ASCII CR 0x0d characters, since the standard *nix EOLN is a single LF 0x0a. The extra CRs in turn confuse the uudecode program. If you use -a, you should be abble to uudecode just fine. If you get the message "no end line", you can use a recently posted fix to uudecode, which avoids this. Alternatively, try to append/delete a blank line to the end of the file (forgot which). One of these days I'm going to port the Dumas UUE/UUD package. If someone has already done this, maybe he/she can post the binary (sources are available at several servers). Hope this helps. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Bitnet: VBRANDT@DBNUAMA1 (will go away late '89) Volker A.
