I am using MacPrint 1.1 with an HP LaserJet+ at home. I use primarily
bitmap fonts (rather than HP font cartridges) and although it is fairly
slow (what do you expect at 19.2k baud?) the results are excellent, and
all the applications I use (other than obvious stuff like Adobe
Illustrator) work well with it. The price isn't bad (typically ~ $100)
and it includes a cable and some fonts.
