I had similar problems in moving A/UX onto a Jasmine Direct Drive
140.  If you already have A/UX on a 80MB drive,  use dd to copy
the entire 80 MBytes to your new drive and then use dp to change
partition sizes.  I have a fairly lengthy description (35KB) of
