Needed Message-ID: <10752@boulder.Colorado.EDU> Date: 14 Aug 89 19:48:51 GMT Sender: news@boulder.Colorado.EDU Organization: University of Colorado, Boulder Lines: 22 The nightmare of being an Administrator of a lab of hard drive equiped Mac is that if someone "accidentally" trashes a file or move things around. I do realize that the Mac is not a secure machine and I just can't prevent intentional sabotages which someone can just boot the system from a floopy and mess the whole HD up.(with some softwares in some cases) I need recommendations on security softwares which I can prevent these accidents from happenning. I have heard names such as "the night watch", "Macsafe" and something that gives you the look of a Appleshare(can't remember the name). Any help will be greately appreciated. Please E-mail me if possible, if there is enough demand I will post the results. Thank you very much, Andy Internet: kuo@tramp.Colorado.EDU
