My guess if the p4200 wasn't able to deal with 2MBit flows, we would have
heard by now and they'd probably be out of business.  Of course, the
bottleneck is likely to be in your host.  Some of the most expensive
ethernet interfaces on the market are lucky to be able to push a few
hundred kbits out, while some of the integral controllers in cheap
workstations can run close to the full rated Ethernet speed.
