I know the question posed on the subject line above sounds strange, but
what I mean is this:

Will one be able to execute Finder tasks (such as copying disks, erasing/for-
matting disks, etc.) in the background when System 7.0 comes out?  To me,
mundane system tasks fall right in there with printing and downloading in
terms of "desirability to start and forget (i.e. run in the background)."

Would anybody care to offer some facts?  Opinions? Guesses? (This request is
certainly open to Apple employees :-)
