Hello,

The serial driver that comes with 2.4 drops characters on out
going lines (/dev/tty1) at 1200 baud if there is any significant disk
activity. I have seen mention of some PD drivers that are supposedly
better than uport's. Can any one send me one or tell me where I could
find one. Its such a nuisance not to be ables to read news while I'm
doing a compile, which can take a long long time :>.

Thanks in advance,
bill
