We are looking for some input on which UNIX box to purchase.
Our requirements are : Reasonably Fast, i.e. at least 12 MIPS
Support for Lots of DISK, i.e. 5GB+
X or some reasonable graphics package available
				and SUPPORTED
Total Package (i.e. with Disk, 9 Track, keyboard,
				etc.) price around $100K

Our applications include : Atmospheric Modeling, Signal Processing
Image Processing (you get the picture...)

We currently use Suns for the most part, and are evaluating a
Solbourne (it's here right now) but were wondering what other machines
we should consider, i.e. IRIS, Mascomp, Titan...etc. If you actually
have one of these machines, we'd be interested in hearing from you.

(is there another group we should have posted to?? We really
didn't see one, hope this was correct 'net-manners')

Please e-mail, If there is interest, I will summarize.
