I have seen this a few times in the past, and it was ALWAYS the monitor
cable that was not quite hooked up correctly.

Authorized service centers must repair equipment under warranty.
If they refuse please let me know, and I will inform our service
department.  In particular, I need the name of the person at the
service center, and the company's name, address and phone number.
