I have a Leading Edge Model D, with a built-in serial port (COM1:). The port
was fine (I think) before I shut the system down for a week when I went on
vacation. When I powered the system up a week later, the port was bad - it
is sending continuously. I observed this by monitoring the status of each
pin on the line. As soon as the system is powered up, the line goes high -
even before the system goes into bootup diagnostics. Any suggestions on what
next to check, or what do do? Thanks!
