Many people have sent me mail asking for Clam. Get your floppies ready, as
I will be posting a NEW version of Clam soon now, say a week or two.

This version of Clam (documented as 1.3) may be used on Minix AND Unix
systems, and it runs under Minix, 4.xBSD AND SysV, although the latter
is a slight kludge [ anybody want to do it properly ?], making Clam
a truly portable shell.

Internally, Clam has undergone a radical restructuring, and this is why I
need to post it fully again. Thanks to the Minix users, all of the known
bugs are now fixed, and hopefully not many bugs are left.

I have also changed the #ifdef's to indicated why pieces of code have
been #ifdef'd, and to allow you to customise Clam. Such things as job
control, hashing, and programming are now #ifdef'd separately.
If you don't like #ifdef's, run Clam through the `ifdef' program I posted
recently - it removes #ifdef's, making Clam more readable, and also
faster to compile.

So hold out for a few more days, a new version of Clam is coming!
