Koziarz) Organization: Naval Ocean Systems Center, San Diego Lines: 19 Folks, I've been burn-in testing my 10 MHz Z100 for about week now and have no problems (operational) to report. I had to replace the 150 nSec delay line with a 100 nSec delay line to get past the power-up self test. I also strapped in 3 i/o wait states and set my Z205s to 6 wait states. I am working on determining the validity of the ZDS diagnostics as far as the failures indicated when running 10 MHz are concerned. The floppy and io port diagnostics report failures; all others (including winchester) pass multiple times. I've repeated them for up to 6 hours. This is for information only at this point as I am reluctant to advise that others follow my example until the reliability of this modification is better known. On the lighter side.... _PC Magazine_ Benchmark version 4.02 reports floating point performance of 1.4x an 8.00 MHz PC/AT!! ACK! Cheers, Walt K.
