Check out FTP Software.  stev@ftp.com is a possible inquiry address;
they also have been advertising in a variety of UNIX magazines and
even some MS-DOS oriented ones.

Their library is quite good, especially given MS-DOS limitations.
There was a review recently in PC Magazine.  Interestingly, the
Editor's Choice was an IBM product even though it was slower and more
difficult to install than several others.  FTP's product was highly
rated in the article, however.  Big Blue's presence is everpresent.
