You should be able to use the 286 emulator and drive the CGA directly. But you probably want to use the CGA as an RT console. You can write a simple programs to throw characters onto the screen using the /dev/bus, or you might be able to get the sample cga driver in /usr/lpp/examples/disp/* working. I've not tried to do so.
