I have an application where multiple users need to access multiple knowledge
bases and the load time of any knowledge base has to be fast (<10 secs or so).
I am leaning towards a LAN implementation, with runtime shells running on the
nodes and a file server to hold the knowledge bases. I would be interested
in hearing anyone's experience with this type of setup. What expert system
shell? What Network Operating System? In fact, I would like to hear any
discussion at all on this type of application.
