McKenna) Organization: Sybase, Inc. Lines: 19 I've seen mentioned in a proposed change to the ISO SQL standard the use of a "Universal Character Set" by the name of ISO 10646 (draft). It looks like a 32-bit scheme of some sort. Does anyone out there know anything more about this proposed draft (10646) and perhaps where one might be able to obtain a copy? I've already checked with ANSI and some engineering standards houses - but no one on this side of the Atlantic seems to know what it is (too new, I guess). Your help would be greatly appreciated! I'll post to the net whatever I find out. Thanx! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Michael G.
