The main problem is that you have to actually execute the file in its entirety for each sheet that you need. The reason is that PostScript only works on a single bitmap at once, and each operator puts its mark in only the current bitmap. If I am understanding you right, all you want to do is make several copies of the file to print one right after the other without waiting for the file to execute again, right? If so try putting this line in just before the showpage and see if it works. 1 1 # { copypage } for # being one less than the number of copies that you want printed.
