I finally got around to looking that up in the BOYAN 4.0 manual. It's very simple. The default on exit (ALT-X, not CTL-X) is to drop DTR. Option E on screen E of Configure BOYAN (ALT-C) can change this. I just tried it: it works. (More people should use BOYAN 4.0 - no, I don't profit from it, I'm just a happy user.) M. B.
