Lines: 8 A problem we had with backing up from Macs to NFS over the Gator is the inherent incompatability of Mac filenames with NFS: forward slashes (as in "Read Me 8/7/89"), characters > ASCII 128, and so on. Note this was not using DiskFit, but in native format. If DiskFit can lump all the files into a single output filename (like HFS Backup), this is not a problem. --Cy--
