The drive they use is the Quantum Prodrive 105S (at least, that's the one in our 3/80). An alternative is the CDC/Imprimis Swift 3.5" with embedded SCSI, which has a faster seek time (15ms) and higher capacity (up to 200MB). We ended up ordering the 200MB synchronous SCSI Swift for our diskless SPARCstation 1's. The only problem I see is getting the right mounting brackets to install the drive inside the machine.
