Some, apperently BSD derived or related, kernels have a symbol avenrun,
which I believe is used to produce a load average report. If this is not
subject to license disclosure restrictions, I'd sure like to know
what is being counted so that I can attempt to emulate it in a
System V environment.

The ruptime command in the WIN TCP/IP package implements this, but
only runs on machines with the net up. I'd like to be able to
present comparable information on 3B2's not running WIN.

Thanks,

Steve
