I have written some low level graphics drivers for CGA and HGC and am currently working on EGA/VGA. I would also like to do some fast 800x560 graphics but don't have any programming info on the ATI card. The manual that comes with it only documents the BIOS calls supported by the on-board ROM. Any help would be greatly appreciated. BTW, Does anyone know why I can't get 800x600 on a NEC Multisync II ? It does 800x560 fine but won't go to 800x600. I didn't calculate the horizontal scan rate for 800x600 but I would think the monitor should be able to handle the slightly higher frequency over 800x560.
