I just purchased a "Megafile 20" and have a couple of questions.

1) The manual implies that it's okay to turn it off without parking the
head as long as I'm not going to be moving it. Is this correct?

2) Is it better for the dirve to leave it running all the time of turn
it off when I'm not using it? Both courses of action seem to have
advantages and disadvantages. (Not the least of which is the relief
I get when that noisy fan goes off -- my roommate said he thought I
   was vacuuming in here.)

Thanks for the help! I'm pretty new at this hard disk stuff.
