I asked for the patch and got a tape that seemed to be a tar tape -- no
directions came with it. Tar extracted something called "restore.nca"
in a directory named HPUX0100 or something close to that. At that point
I could not figure out what to do with restore.nca, nor could I get an
answer from the HP Response Center except to tell me that the tape was
not a tar tape and I should use cpio! I dutifully tried cpio and got
_nothing_ from the tape. I reported that problem to the response center
and I'm still waiting for a reply!

HP, what's up?
