I couldn't agree more. I am trying to get a CS degree and work full time.
The only way I can do this is to have access to the mainframe at odd hours.
I do all my programming in Ultramacro enhanced Appleworks and then print to
file. Then, using KERMIT 65 I send the file up to the frame and compile.
The point is that this one program has actually opened up opportunities that
I would not have otherwise had. In fact, it was playing around with Kermit
that got me interested in using the mainframe in the first place.
