I have a couple of questions about this: (1) Do you have one of these? What controller are you using? Is the combination working for you? (2) Is the difference in response time between a 28ms disk and a 16ms disk very noticeable under Unix? (Maybe a silly question, but 28ms Maxtors are on sale ...) Thanks in advance. I'll post a summary if there's sufficient interest. -- Mark McWiggins UUCP: uunet!intek01!mark DISCLAIMER: I could be wrong. INTERNET: intek01!mark@uunet.uu.net (206) 455-9935
