Wait a second..
There was a parsing ambiguity in my earlier posting about superlinear
speedups. The Tech Report is not about such speedups, rather about the
chare kernel, a "machine independent parallel programming system".
(More on that later).
The superlinear speedup in specific cases was a very recent
observation while running programs on this system on an Intel
hypercube with 64 processors.
I have no papers documenting the superlinear speedups, yet.
(In fact, I am not sure there will ever be.)
