Summary: if I have concatenated shar files, how do I unpack them all?

I've looked at the both unshar packages in the comp.sources.unix
archives on UUNET. Both of them normally just feed stuff to sh, though
it varies how well they deal with the `exit' at the end of an archive
when it doesn't end the message.

I usually concatenate multi-part archives (from rrn, usually something
like "/Fnord part/jsFNORD") into one file, and then try to unshar that
without bothering to split it. However, the exit at the end kills the
shell...

An approximate fix was to change the `if' in the volume 15 version to
a `while', but that didn't quite work on real files. I don't have time
to fix it myself; does anyone have another version that does more than
this?
