No. I don't think you can link R3 athena widgets with R2 Intrinsics.
But yes, you can link R3 Xlib with R2 Intrinsics AND R2 athena widgets.

Note that the Intrinsics and widgets must be same release, or you will
have unresolved references (subroutines) at link time.
