The boot track is the one part of the disk that you can't flaw out
and substitute.  If it's bad, you can't boot from the disk drive.
Are you sure that's the problem?  If you're using OnTrack software
supplied by Seagate, it's full of bugs.  Confirm your problem some
other way.
