I just tried building Gnu Emacs with X11R3 support, and
got errors because XMenu is no longer supplied as part of
the base release. The installation documentation for X11R3
said that there were several menu type things available in
the user-supplied tapes, but as I'm new to the wonderful
world of X, I'm not sure how to go about finding the ones
that are 'close enough' to the late XMenu, or how to go
about modifying Gnu Emacs to account for the inevitable
differences. Has anyone else done this? No sense in
reinventing the square wheel...
