Is this correct? 2) Is it better for the dirve to leave it running all the time of turn it off when I'm not using it? Both courses of action seem to have advantages and disadvantages. (Not the least of which is the relief I get when that noisy fan goes off -- my roommate said he thought I was vacuuming in here.) Thanks for the help! I'm pretty new at this hard disk stuff.
