gosh, it's a long while since I converted my .fd files, but I'm fairly sure 
the tool to do it was in some semi-obscure directory on the tools or extras
disk.  Just so you are aware, you have to use the path command if you run
your application from a directory other than the one the .fd files are
situated on (I mean the converted bitmap offsets) or alternately cd into
that directory.  I am also fairly sure that I saw the converted files on
an early Fish Disk.  Amazing Computing has a directory of the entire Fish
Library.  I know that the files somehow got missed on one of the very early
versions (1.0 I think) and so showed up on developer's disks and in the 
public domain.  Gosh, I haven't touched AmigaBASIC in about a year ...
If I find out more specific information, I'll post again.
