I need some serious enlightment on the issues mentioned in the subject line.

First, I am running a MAC II with a 80M drive and the MAC-OS.
I am in a desperate need of a tape drive, because I am getting tired of
floppies backups. However, I want to purchase A/UX when the next release
comes out, and preferably boot it from tape (if released on tape). Also, when
I run A/UX I want to be able to transfer data between A/UX and a SUN3 on tape.

What streamer (brand and type) is suitable for the use I have in mind? Is A/UX
going to be released on tape? if yes, which kind of tape? if no, will it be
released on floppies? which currently available streamer will operate under
A/UX and write SUN3 compatible tapes?

Thanks in advance for your information.
