A fine idea. The Mauritian restaurant is quite small, however. There is a Mexican restaurant/bar on Queen near Spadina (Tortilla Flats) that seems suitable inasmuch as: - more light than RPM - more heat than RPM - quieter than RPM - more civilized than RPM (fewer Bohemians) I was there last night. They offer space for parties, 5-105 people, and a special menu. The food is not quite as good as Hernando's Hideaway, my personal favourite for Mex, but is a damn sight better than the slop they dish up at Chi-Chi's (yuck) Restaurant-of-the-month Club: In Toronto we have a world record of 143 different nationalities represented by restaurants. If we start soon, we could get through all of them by the beginning of the next century. (yum) >and then we could move on somewhere else as appropriate. Or stay where we are, as appropriate. Look on the bright side - they don't force you to suffer programming the IBM(tm) PC (double yuck). Another ONSLAUGHT(tm) in the works !!!
