Thanks to Bruce Gewirz (and those of you who provided me with his address) for saving me over $100 on a new power supply. Since I didn't have to trade in the old non-working supply, I still have it. Does anyone want it? I'll ship it UPS to the first one who asks me for it and sends me $5 to cover shipping charges (and the trouble of packing it, etc.). Perhaps there's someone out there who can get it repaired more cheaply than I could. I've taken the supply apart; the problem seems to be with components, rather than heat scoring or bad solder joints on the PC board. Note that this supply is for the model Z120, the all-in-one model with the built in monitor. It will not fit in the low profile model. Send e-mail to att!cbdkc1!pmd if interested. Thanks. -- Paul Dubuc | "Happy is the one who is not scandalized by me." cbdkc1!pmd | Jesus Christ (Matt. 11:6) | |
