I've been playing around a bit with Macintalk in Lightspeed C. I've written an
application that speaks, using SpeechOn, SpeechOff, Reader and MacinTalk calls,
but I'd like to be able to set things like the voice pitch, sex, and
particularly language. I've also heard rumours about problems if the Macintalk
file isn't in the System Folder...

Could someone please fill in the details? I will write a simple application
(and post the source) using every feature that someone tells me about (and that
I can make work), and works around all the bugs that purportedly exist.
