TC 1.5 and 2.0 (and Turbo Pascal 4.0 and 5.0) so also support the 8514 (even in 256 color mode). (TC 1.5 only documented 8514 support in a README, I think.) There's no support for super-EGA or super-VGA modes (e.g., 800x600) that are slowly becoming de facto standards. Paul S. R.
