I recently picked up the screen.sty style file from the latex-style
collection. In its comments, it says:

% SCREEN.STY is used to create a LaTeX document suitable for SCREENVIEWing.

My question is, what is "SCREENVIEWing"? I couldn't find anything on
sun.soe.clarkson.edu (where the latex style collection is), but then
again I may not have known what to really look for. Can anyone
give me any pointers? Also, what are the differences between this
  and dvidoc?

  Thanks.
