Subject: seeking fluorochrome-labelled nucleotides

Does anyone know of a commercial supplier of nucleotides or
deoxynucleotides (dATP, etc.) which have been chemically modified
to add on a fluorochrome moiety (ie. fluoroscein)? I'm especially interested
in such fluorochrome-labelled NTPs which also have been modified so that
TDT (terminal deoxynucleotidyltransferase) will add only one of them onto
the 3-prime end of a single-stranded oligomer. We're doing enough work
with the same synthetic oligo probe that I'd really like to get away from
32-p labelling if I can. I know that some suppliers make fluorochrome-
labelled PRIMERS (ie. 6-mers) for use in non-radioactive DNA sequencing
methods, but what I really need is fluorochrom-labelled single nucleotides.
Anyone with any information, I would be forever in your debt!
Thanks - Phil Lane
