Kelly and N. Spies contains documentation for a very nice screen editor. It is mostly written in generic Standard Forth and is 10 screens long. The book discusses the editor in detail and mentions changes that can be made using commands that your computer/DOS may offer for screen manipulation. Since the editor is small and simple, and the documentation so complete, it is quite easy to add "features" (and the book mentions a few). The editor is listed in Chapter 12. The following chapter on "Forth Programming Style" discusses that topic in the context of the development of a particular program: the editor! The book is highly recommended -- both for the editor and the discussion of Forth programming. John J Wavrik Dept of Math Univ of Calif - San Diego jjwavrik@ucsd.edu La Jolla, CA 92093
