Trying to send a large region to a process, like: (send-region "my-process" (point-min) (point-max)) on a large file, will give the message: "writing to process: operation would block, my-process", and a somewhat confused process. Is this because a buffer runs full, or what? -- Lars Bo Nielsen |@| Wise words in latin: Internet: lbn@ksuvax1.cis.ksu.edu |@| Vir prudens non contra ventum mingit UUCP: ..!rutgers!ksuvax1!lbn -or- ..!{pyramid,ucsd}!ncr-sd!ncrwic!ksuvax1!lbn
