Keywords: PC-SLAVE board Message-ID: <49@VAX1.CC.UAKRON.EDU> Date: 6 Dec 88 22:12:58 GMT Distribution: na Organization: U of Akron, Computer Center Lines: 27 A friend of mine is interested in getting a PC-SLAVE board. This is what he definitely needs: o Must have at least 512k ram if not a full 640k (640 prefered) o Monitor and Keyboard output (of course) o Be able to access files and other resources on the host computer like: comm ports, printer ports, A: C: & D: drives. What he would like to have with the above o Hercules graphics o Use and support the EMS/LIM on host computer o Some way of comunicating between the two screens I know a network would do the job but he wants a PC-SLAVE board so if anyone has names, ADDRESSES, phones #s, and hopefully prices I would greatly appreciate it. And as always if there is enough response I will summarize to the net. BTW he is running a Epson Equity II+, 1.5 megs of EMS/LIM 4.0 (everex), 1.4 meg 3"1/2 flopping, ST4096 80 meg Seagate, MS-DOS 3.3. He has a modem and is going to get a tape backup unit.
