As far as I know all you need for UUCP is a freindly neighbor a
phone call away, and a system that can run the news/mail software.
I believe the software is all public domain so you just have to find
someone to give you a copy. Finding out where and the intricacies (sp?)
of setting up is a MUCH bigger problem though hopefully someone will
post a writeup to news.newusers on that (we are still fussing/tweeking).

Justifications are another matter, especially security considerations.
We are restricted to dial OUT only for example, I am aware of several
other sites which cannot have modems AT ALL!
Any suggestions out there?
