I'm one of the authors of Typing Made Easy.  It should work on an SE as long
as you boot the machine from a current system disk, then run TME from its
copy-protected floppy (WITHOUT switch-launching; drag the Finder out of
TME's system folder to prevent this if necessary.  The latest version of
TME is no longer copy-protected so this kind of thing is no longer
necessary).  If it STILL doesn't work, I would very much appreciate how
it's failing (please mail me the info).  As far as I know, TME will run
on any Macintosh; I'd like to fix it if it doesn't.
