Subject: Amiga as a FAX machine

Lately, I read somebody who wanted to see the Amiga as a FAX machine.
So here's a quote from the German magazine 'Amiga Special':
(sorry for eventually odd translations)
-----------------
" AMIGA-Fax
As the Amiga can be found in many wireless rooms, the wish occurred
to use it as a FAX machine. This is the gap HAM-FAXAmiga aims for.
The software specially designed for FAX-needs allows sending
and reception; setable parameters are already predefined according
to standards. Operation is done by comfortable mouse-operated
pull down menus. For transferring even weather FAX, the possibility
of receiving in maximum resolution and scrolling screen memory
both vertically and horizontally has been added. So even the
smallest details of weather charts can be clearly recognized.
Of course, there is a large manual for those who don't get by
with "FAXing" right away.
The program can be obtained from:

Firma Karl J. Ebensberger
Faellhofstrasse 11
8068 Pfaffenhofen
West Germany "
