Lines: 21 A friend asked me to post the following inquiry to the net. Query: I am interested in recommendations of software applications with the following capabilities: 1. Word processing: Full function text editor with a non-technical user interface for use in a unix environment with ascii-terminals (i.e. VT100). Furthermore, it should be function-key oriented, and generate output which could be fed to nroff or other UNIX-based typesetting facilities. 2. Spreadsheet: Full function spreadsheet for use in a unix environment with ascii-terminals (i.e. VT100). It must be capable of importing/ exporting to/from an SQL database.
