Thanks to everyone who replied to my request for information.
After a lot of telephoning, I
finally found out that DuPont/New England Nuclear makes a fluoroscein-
labelled dideoxy-GTP (ie a chain terminator) for use in their "Genesis 2000"
sequencing system; they'll sell it seperately for $30 for 1.25 nmoles
(Dupont/NEN part NEK505G). They apparently have a paper in press with
a protocol for using it with TDT for 3' end-labelling, which I'm trying to
get a hold of.  I have names and phone numbers of people at Dupont/NEN;
let me know if you want them. I haven't tried using the stuff yet so I can't say whether it works; once I have data I'll post a note on the Methods-and-
Reagents BBoard.  Hope this helps.
