Keywords: cron, timed-execution Message-ID: <2588@m2-net.UUCP> Date: 30 Nov 88 01:32:57 GMT Reply-To: mju@m-net.UUCP (Marc Unangst) Organization: M-NET, Ann Arbor, MI Lines: 16 I'm looking for a cron-like program that runs on a PC. Note that I do NOT need something like "at" - I already have one, and it works fine. But I'd like something that will sit in the background and be able to, say, execute the command "fixdisk c:" every day at 4am. "at" works okay for this, the only problem being that I must enter in each event individually. Thus, I need some sort of crontab-like file that allows wildcards in the time/date. It doesn't have to be able to execute these processes when another program is running - At the DOS prompt would be fine. Binary, C, or Pascal source would be fine. Thanks. -- "Don't find a fault. | Marc Unangst Find a remedy." | UUCP: mju@m-net.ann-arbor.mi.us -Henry Ford | UUCP path: ...!uunet!umix!m-net!mju ---------------------+ Internet: mju%m-net@umix.cc.umich.edu
