I have been having a problem with the IBM PC/IP product on a ITT PC. It
has a 3-COM 3C501 card in it. When I try to connect to a VM host using
TN3270 mode it gives extremely slow response. It sometimes takes as
long as 3 minutes to display the initial sign-on screen. The program
works fine in an IBM PC with the same kind of e-net card (3C501). Has
anyone else seen this kind of behaviour? We would be very interested in
getting telnet/tn3270 to work on these PCs since we have quite a few of
them. Any ideas would be appreciated.

P.S. Response is just fine to UN*X hosts on the network so I don't
suspect hardware problems. NCSA telnet also works (but no TN3270) with
no performance problem.
