The second disk drive can be RAM: or other DOS device with a file system; the input disk must be based on a device driven DOS device using the standard or fast filesystem. Thus, input devices like most hard disks, recoverable RAM disks like ASDG's VD0: or Digitronics' DRx: work; handler based things like RAM: don't. For output, I could specify any DOS level device like DF1: or RAM:, or in fact a path spec like "RAM:Recovered". I sent V1.32 to binaries just recently; this works better with FFS and fixes a few bugs. If anyone EVER finds any bugs with this program, please tell me about them, I do plan to eventually release a new version (but hopefully not for a while). > -Fred -- Dave Haynie "The 32 Bit Guy" Commodore-Amiga "The Crew That Never Rests" {uunet|pyramid|rutgers}!cbmvax!daveh PLINK: D-DAVE H BIX: hazy Amiga -- It's not just a job, it's an obsession
