We're upgrading to a 386 Unix and getting a 300+ MB disk to go with it.
I have a couple of questions about this:

(1) Do you have one of these? What controller are you using? Is the
combination working for you?

(2) Is the difference in response time between a 28ms disk and a 16ms
disk very noticeable under Unix? (Maybe a silly question, but 28ms
Maxtors are on sale ...)

Thanks in advance. I'll post a summary if there's sufficient interest.
