I bought a MicroScience HH725A 21 Mb hard disk at a garage sale, and I'm
trying to hook it up to an AT clone, using a Western Digital WD1003-WA2,
Rev. 12 controller. I keep coming up with hard disk failure error messages,
and wondered if anyone out there knows if the drive can be used with an
AT clone. I noticed a ten setting piano-style dip switch on the disk
board. Does anyone have the settings for this drive? If not, I'm only
out $3.50, so I can't cry, but it would be nice to find some specs on the
drive. And yes, I know it's a lemon. I've had to replace more of them
than I care to think about.
