Gregg,

The only thing you can do with DOS is set the "hidden" bit. If this is
set DIR won't list the directory, but it's still there. I think,
though, that most DOS directory utilities will find it.

In Turbo-C this is done as follows:

	_chmod("filename",FA_HIDDEN);

and reversed by

	_chmod("filename",0);
