Message-ID: <495@oracle.UUCP> Date: 2 Dec 88 05:33:11 GMT Sender: news@oracle.uucp Lines: 21 Well, linking forms and RPT is not too complicated. My favorite approach is to link the two using a parameter table in the database. Have a table which contains a column for each parameter the report requires, then use a form to load the data into the table. Once the RPT is called, it can SELECT from the table, execute the report, and DELETE the row from the table. Keep in mind SQL*REPORT can execute any valid SQL DML statement. This can be the basis for a rather elegant system which can manage batch reports, etc. Glad to help Ben Linder ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Ben Linder Oracle Corporation Advanced Services
