I am writing this note in an effort to obtain some information on the
addressing strategies employed by different organizations in their ISO
networking products. The areas I'm concerned with are:

   - CONS vs CLNP. How are you making the decision?
   - ES-IS protocol. Are you implementing it on ES systems?
   - first hop decisions for ESs. are you statically configuring this
     information?
   - CLNP over X.25. What addressing methods do you support.
	 - TPvsCLNP SAP identifier in Call User Data
	 - Subaddressing
	 - Extended address facility

I would appreciate any information people have on this subject, as
well as any new information people may have about NBS, and/or GOSIP
conformance. I am also interested in how some companies may be addressing
(no pun intended) these problems.

                   thanx in advance
