Adelaide Uni has a Class B number, we are not connected to the
Internet, but you can't have our number back! :-) :-)

I would suggest that quite a number of the `unused' numbers are sites
that want to have a unique number so they can connect to other sites
without worrying about number clashes. Also they could be foreign (ie
non North American) sites, we fit into this category. One day `real
soon now' the satellite link between Australia and the USA will go in
and you will find out about all our networks. I will then be able to
give my address as mrp@sirius.ua.oz.au ([129.127.4.20]).
