Message-ID: <94@muvms1.bitnet> Date: 7 Dec 88 13:50:34 GMT Organization: Marshall University Lines: 18 Hello I do not usually read this newsgroup but I have a question I wonder if anyone can help me with. I am a student at the local university and need to be able to do assignments from home. I have a pc and a vt100 emulator, but some of the packages we run really need a vt220 or 320. Does anyone know of a good vt320 compatible terminal? A terminal emulator plus the keyboard would cost almost as much as a vt320, so I am just going to buy the terminal. I have seen DEC vt320's advertised for about $400, are any on the other brands just as good? cheaper? Also, are there any problems hooking up a modem to the terminal and using the Hayes commands to dial the phone, etc?? Thanks in advance, Jon Leonard
