Message-ID: <22508@watmath.waterloo.edu> Date: 1 Dec 88 14:40:59 GMT Distribution: comp Organization: U of Waterloo, Ontario Lines: 6 I'm trying to compile v1.2.1 of C++ on an Iris 4D and after some work I've been able to get the scratch copy (bootstrap) to work, and although this looks to compile the C++ source okay, the resulting cfront bombs immediately. The 4D uses a modified COFF format - I tried to compile `patch' but it expects stock AT&T COFF. Both second stage `cfront' and `munch' bomb. Has anyone had any experience with this?
