Message-ID: <96@dftsrv.gsfc.nasa.gov> Date: 8 Dec 88 16:35:38 GMT Organization: Advanced Data Flow Technology Office Lines: 15 Hi! I've been using tcpdump for network monitoring on a sun 3. It has helped me to identify some problems in our building ethernet. There are other buildings on our campus, each with it's own ethernet isolated behind a smart bridge from the broadband traffic. I would like to install tcpdump on a Sun 4 in another building. I got the source code package, started reading the "README" file, and discovered that I need to modify the source for both sunos 4.0 and a sun 4 architecture. Has anyone out there done this work yet? If you have, I would really appreciate hearing from you. I might even put you in my will if you've got the answer :-) Thanks in advance! - Tom Corsetti tomc@dftsrv.gsfc.nasa.gov
