I would like to be able to program a routine that cast shades onto the horizon (or ground) when there is a shadow for (an object intersecting the path of the ray to the light). At this moment I have this routine but somehow I only get the shadow on the objects (shperes in this case) and not on the ground.... Secondly, I would like to know how i would be able to create designs or use existing images to map onto the horizon (or ground). e.g. How would i make a checker board pattern onto the ground? Finally, Is there a smiple way of mapping an image onto a sphere or any other object? Thank You for all or any help.... -------- Vahid Koussari **************************************************************************** Please Reply to Vahid Koussari: koussari@rodan.acs.syr.edu gefuchs@top.cis.syr.edu Syracuse University Iconic Communications Lab...... ****************************************************************************
