Here's some more food for thought. I received a message from a site over the
weekend, which had the following path:

	From: uunet!pyramid!mips!original-site!root

What's so interesting about this? My machine talks directly to pyramid.
However, pyramid sent the mail to uunet instead. OK, that's not too fatal,
a common mistake. But Wait! There's More! My machine ALSO talks directly
to mips! The only thing I can surmise is that the original-site hand-routed
the message. However, I don't think it would have been a henious sin on the
part of mips (or pyramid) to dump the rest of the path, and drop the mail onto
my site directly. Comments?
