I have been using a command of the form

    "rsh remotehost -n 'exec /usr/bin/X11/xterm >& /dev/null' &"

bound to a window manager menu (twm, in case it matters) to start up
an xterm on a remote host. Under X11R2, both the local rsh process
and the remote rshd would go away after xterm was started. But under
X11R3, this doesn't seem to work; the xterm runs fine, but rsh and
rshd stay around. Does anyone know what changed?
