Keywords: GNU Emacs VMS 5.0 Message-ID: <6288@ut-emx.UUCP> Date: 23 Sep 88 21:44:03 GMT Organization: The University of Texas at Austin, Austin, Texas Lines: 20 Have any other GNU Emacs/VMS users upgraded to VMS version 5.0? We have a VAX- station II, running VMS and GNU Emacs version 18.49. When we upgraded to VMS 5.0, we could no longer run Emacs. We are currently trying to recompile and relink a new version. Has anyone else had similar problems? Building the new version fails with the following error message: "Pure Lisp storage exhausted" We've tried increasing PURESIZE (in both config.h and s-vms.h), with no success. Any suggestions, pointers, etc.? Reply to chcu321@utaivc.cc.utexas.edu Michael J. Liebman UT Department of Chemical Engineering
