We have noted marked performance differences between 80386 and 68020 based SysV Unix when running very large programs. Is there something inherent in the 386's on-board MMU that would cause slow performance when randomly accessing a large memory space? Thanks, Richard Marks rmarks@KSP.unisys.COM (215) 648-3488
