Changing the CPP_PREDEFINES in tm-sun3.h to include -Dmc68020 seems to have
fixed the compilation problem with gcc1.28 on Sun3 running SunOS4.0.
(I thought this was fixed in an earlier release of Gcc).

However after stage2 I ran the compare and obtained the following:

Script started on Mon Sep 26 11:27:48 1988
prudence% foreach file (*.o)
? cmp $file stage2/$file
? end
genoutput.o stage2/genoutput.o differ: char 11803, line 121
global-alloc.o stage2/global-alloc.o differ: char 14455, line 63
insn-recog.o stage2/insn-recog.o differ: char 62035, line 577
regclass.o stage2/regclass.o differ: char 12711, line 68
stor-layout.o stage2/stor-layout.o differ: char 12491, line 68
prudence% ^D
script done on Mon Sep 26 11:28:30 1988

Should I regard this as serious. I obtained about the same results when
I compiled gcc 1.28 on the SPARC.
