He tells me that he's tested Rodime's existing disk-driver software with System 6.0.2, and it works correctly... no more "Do you want to initialize this disk single-sided or double-sided?" dialog. Apparently, Apple has backed out the unannounced change they made to the System 6.0 SCSI-disk-driver interface, which caused Rodime and some other third-party disk drives to malfunction under 6.0 (weird failures during initialization, and errors during Disk First Aid 1.4 execution). Rodime is currently beta-testing its new disk-driver software, and will (I'm told) probably be releasing the software to its dealers within a couple of weeks. -- Dave Platt VOICE: (415) 493-8805 USNAIL: Coherent Thought Inc. 3350 West Bayshore #205 Palo Alto CA 94303 UUCP: ...!{ames,sun,uunet}!coherent!dplatt DOMAIN: dplatt@coherent.com INTERNET: coherent!dplatt@ames.arpa, ...@sun.com, ...@uunet.uu.net
