We have a problem during filetransfer from VAX to Apollo using the
FTP-Command "msend".

Our hard- and softwareconfiguration:

        VAX 8530 (VMS 4.6, CMU_TCP 6.2)
        MICROVAX (CMU_TCP 6.2)
        Apollo DN3000 (Aegis 9.7, TCP/IP 3.1)

Everytime we start a filetransfer from the VAX 8530 or the MicroVAX to the
Apollo with the command "msend /struc=file /type=ascii /noprompt *.*" (about
80 files, each file 1-100 blocks, only ASCII-character) FTP is aborted after
20-30 files with the following error:

        -IPACP-E-CSE- Connection table space exhausted

If we use the FTp-Command "mget" from the Apollo the filetransfer stops
after about 55 files. If we start at this time "tcpstat" in another window
there is a connection with the TCP STATE = CLOSE-WAIT to the VAX-Node.
After about a minute the TCP STATE of this connection becomes "????".
The only to abort the ftp-session is to use ^Q.

The filetransfer in the other direction (Apollo->VAX) works without errors.

If there are only a few (1..10) even large (up to 6000 blocks) files they are
transferes without problems.

Can anybody help us?

Thanks
