1)  The chip which performs blitting operations is a physically different chip
than the one which gives you 4096 colors.

2)  Improving the Amiga chipset will not introduce backward software
compatiblity problems.  Please make sure you know the exact reason before you
go around spreading untruths that someone else might believe.
