Lines: 14 I am currently having trouble with Minix 1.2 on my AT-Clown. I'm trying to build a new kernel that will recognise my hard disk (the old one used xt_wini). At one stage the machine crashed and when I used mkfs on /usr I found I had lost 15 or so files in /usr/bin. So, I copied them from my backup 360k disks onto the RAM disk (I'm using 1.2 Mb disks when I can, as I've only got one drive). After copying them back onto /usr, mkfs decides to trash them again, along with about 3 or 4 other files. I made sure I sync'ed and umount'ed the disk before I shut down, but this is about the 4th time I've tried. Can someone help me? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ David S.
