I'm running into a problem trying to get a Postscript file to a Unix
system for printing. Under older versions of the System I used to be able
to turn AppleTalk on regardless of whether I actually had AppleTalk hardware,
which I don't. Then I could select the laser printer, use cntl F to get a
PostScript file, ship it to my Unix system, prepend a laser prep file and
print it. Under this version of the system I can't seem to select AppleTalk
active under the chooser. Does anyone know what I might need in the way of
extra hardware, or other magic to turn AppleTalk on? The message I get from
chooser is "The Printer port is in use; AppleTalk cannot be made active now."

  Thanks,
            Jai Corley
