I own a VaxStation 2000 whose disk occasionally needs defragmentation.
I am inquiring into purchasing Diskeeper from Executive Software, which
would cost us about $700 plus overhead. Before I purchase Diskeeper,
which I know is an excellent product, I would like to know if there
exists a public domain disk defragmenter which I could use instead.

Thanks, Jon Noring, Lawrence Berkeley Laboratory
