The majority opinion seems to be that NeWS is indeed a good way to
learn PostScript.  I've seen ads for NeWS on a Mac II, but nothing
for lesser Macs -- is there anything?  If not, what *is* the best
way to learn PS on a Mac (and no, I *don't* have sufficient access
to a LaserWriter :-( )
