We are looking for a WYSIWYG text processor which would work for both
Sun workstations and Macintosh machines. We understand that Interleaf
"Publisher" is one possibility here. Does anyone have any experience with
using Interleaf on both systems? Are there other (cheaper) alternatives?

It would be especially helpful if it were based on TeX/LaTeX. We understand
that there are some WYSIWYG versions of TeX/LaTeX available on both (Arbor Text
on Sun, Textures on Mac), but we do not know of a system where the same
interface would be available on both machines.

How, in general, has this problem been solved? Surely there are a lot of
other institutions such as ours where Macs are used mainly for text processing
and Suns otherwise. But we still want to be able to use a single text
formatter on both.

p.s. Because of the high cost of e-mail, I would appreciate it if responses
were either posted or kept relatively short.

Thanks in advance,
Tony Fischer
