Well, we're (me + two friends) are currently working on such a system. It's called DCS (Document Control System). We intend to make it run on MS-DOS (yuk, but DCS will do much good there ;-) and Unix. As we (currently) don't use exotic features, porting to Minix should be feasible. We have Minix so we might even port it for you (but don't count on it). When we're done, we'll post full source to the net, if the net wants it, that is.
