Summary: Some libg++ files cause g++.1.27.0/gcc.1.28/sun3/sunos3.5 to croak Message-ID: <324@igor.UUCP> Date: 26 Sep 88 02:51:07 GMT Sender: news@igor.UUCP Reply-To: dsb@Rational.COM (David S. Bakin) Organization: Rational Lines: 23 I've a problem compiling libg++ 1.25.0 with a g++ 1.27.0 built by and with the sources of gcc 1.28. Test0 runs. But when building libg++.a, the following .cc files all fail with a segmentation violation in c++: builtin, Integer, Rational, Complex, SampleStatistic, SampleHistogram. Additionally, RNG.cc seems to infinite loop. The rest of the .cc files in libg++.a compile without problem (except for a few warnings). All this is on a Sun3 running SunOS 3.5. The only change to the g++ sources I made to get it to compile with gcc 1.28 sources was to eliminate a few lines in stmt.c that used the eliminated macro MAX_SETS_PER_INSN. Has anybody seen this or have any suggestions? By the way, can someone E-mail me directions on how to get the kind of long descriptive version names and information I see in other submissions to this list?
