I would like to buy the right one for me the first time. Please send me some advice, conforming to the following parameters: o I want a desktop model. Preferably one that would fit easily into a car. o I would like to have the best frequency range possible. This includes the 800 MHz cellular band. o I would like to keep the cost down. This could be done by eliminating bell and whistles. I really do not need 200+ channels, etc. Any replies are greatly appreciated. Special hints (i.e. "Get one that covers such and such. One would be ...") would also be welcomed. Thanks a bunch, Todd -- Todd Michael Bezenek, KO0N UUCP: nebezene@plains.nodak.edu Bitnet: nebezene@ndsuvax
