  So, how about bringing the requester up under the mouse.  This is much
more presumptuous (DMouse overriding the oroginal programmer's intent),
and may not work all the time (for example if the window that is opening
the requester is not under the mouse pointer), but might work and you
wouldn't have to change the mouse pointer position.
