Regarding the recent questions as to the level of ST sales in West Germany:
I have no idea. However, I was in Munich last week [Oktoberfest time!] and
was impressed by the visibility of the line. For one thing, you can't get on
board a bus or subway without seeing an ad for the Mega ST. For another, you
find the ST among the most prominently displayed machines in almost every
department store. I realize that this doesn't mean they are selling, but it
does have a psychological effect: the ST feels more alive over there. In
constrast to the States [possibly excluding that big one out West], where the
hardest part about buying an ST is to figure out who sells them.
