We all know AT&T is out of the third party e-mail game, we've known it
was coming for some time, I thought my paths file knew all about it. I
was wrong.

The other day I got some bounced mail from AT&T with a polite note
telling me what I already knew about att and third party mail. So I
says to myself, self, what gives? The bounced mail was on its way to
ddsw1 so I do this:

uuhosts ddsw1

UUCP mail path from ontenv to ddsw1:
ddsw1	ontmoh!utgpu!att!ddsw1!%s	200

UUCP mail information for host ddsw1 (#USENET lines show USENET news links):

Yup, there it is a path through att, but no map entry Hmm...
Yet see what this yields:

uuhosts att

UUCP mail path from ontenv to att:
att	ontmoh!utgpu!att!%s	200
att.att.com	ontmoh!utgpu!att!%s	200

	...And so on...

Her comes the kicker. AT&T is already bouncing through-bound mail yet
their map still shows terminal connections to about 100 outside
systems. Any comments Mark/Tim/Et Al?
