RFC 822 says this is not legal anyway, in case somebody gets upset with
you for rejecting it. (so much for "be liberal in what you accept ...")

     C.5.5.  AT-SIGN

        The string " at " no longer is used as an  address  delimiter.
        Only at-sign ("@") serves the function.
