I would like to talk to anyone out there who has TeX running on a 3/60
under SunOS 4.0.

I have recently down loaded TeX from uunet and I'm trying to get it
running on our SUN 3/60s. I've got initex/virtex compiled using web2c
(undump didn't work under 4.0, but I'll worry about that later),
but I don't see how I can compile 'gftopxl' which is what I assume I need
to build the '.pxl' files for the sun previewer. Is there any way to
do this stuff without a pascal compiler. I do have the 4.3 pascal compiler
but I wouldn't think that would be easy to port.

I have "The TeXbook" on order (I imagine that will help) but I would like to
get TeX up enough to do some simple examples/tests. If I find it useful, and
I hope I do, I intend to join TUG.

Email as always. Thanks.
