Has anyone out there in netland had any experience with the Pacific
Peripherals overdrive controller on a 2000? I got my hands on a
ST-277N, and now I'm looking for a good SCSI controller with DMA and
Autoboot under 1.3. I want the DMA to be true DMA to my 2000 memory,
I heard that the GVP has DMA only to a 4k buffer on the controller.
If you have had any experience with the overdrive and the fast filing
system, I would be interested in some statistics. Please reply via
email (if possible).
