I have 8 floppy disk drives on an XT clone, so it's definitely possible to have more than 2 drives. It should work with an AT too. The Micro Solutions Compaticard is an 8-bit bus type disk controller that can co-exist with your standard IBM type floppy disk controller, and you can have up to 4 controllers total (for 16 drives). The 4 drive version is $ 175, and a 2 drive version is available for $ 125. The standard XT type floppy disk controller can support 4 diskette drives standard, but it doesn't support high density drives. The Compaticard comes with software for MS-DOS, but I don't know of any Xenix device drivers for it. Mike Berger, Univ. of Il. berger@clio.las.uiuc.edu
