Everything was fine until suddenly, spurious characters would be generated with each keypress. In Versaterm, S's would appear between keystrokes. In an editor, it would be *'s. I unplugged the cable from my keyboard and a continuous stream of *'s would appear, and this would continue even if I unplugged the cable altogether. After plugging the cable in and out a few times, trying different ADB ports, the problem went away. Phew. Anyone know what might have caused this? Is there something wrong with my Mac? Inquiring minds want to know... ---------------------------------------------------------------- Mike Yang mikey@ernie.berkeley.edu UC Berkeley Thor says "hi" ----------------------------------------------------------------
