Message-ID: <17169@adm.ARPA> Date: 21 Sep 88 21:22:24 GMT Sender: news@adm.ARPA Lines: 13 Hello, I am currently running Ultrix through X-windows on a Vaxstation 2000. I also have an HP-LaserJet hooked up to the system. I have lpr working correctly with the HP (if any one wants details, I'll gladly fill them in). What I would like to know now is if there is a version of xpr that works with the HP. The man entry informs me that xpr converts a file that contains a x-window image (dumped by xwd) to a format that the DEC LN03 printer understands. Is there a version that can do the same thing with the HP-LaserJet? Is it PD? The version on my system was written by Michael R. Gretzinger at MIT project Athena. Any correspondence that may help is appreciated. Thanks, Rob Smith.
