Nope.  There's a bug in the System V in-core inode caching code which causes
the system to think it's out of inodes when all it has to do is start at the
top of the cache linked list.  The details can no doubt be supplied by some
unix.wizard out there, including a patch which you can apply if you have
source or mail to your vendor if you don't.
