However, you can forget about official versions coming from FSF for any apple equipment. RMS is upset about Apple's lawsuits over "look and feel" issues, and is boycotting Apple. (He does have a point, Apple's position is pretty bogus). Considering how difficult it is to get Emacs running under an unsupported UNIX System V machine (I did it with Unixpc - emacs 18.51), I think it will be a formidable effort to get it running under the finder.
