{ Reposted -- I didn't see this on Friday, so I'm not sure if it
  got to the net; apologies for the revised posting if it did.}

I have decided to invest in my own printer (I have loaner from work
that I'm not real happy with. My requirements for a printer to work
with my 1040ST are fairly modest:

	* Near letter quality (this *is* a must for me)

	* Multiple character sets ("standard" character sets)

	* Graphics capability (doesn't have to be sophisticated)

	* Reasonable character speed in draft and NLQ modes
	  (200/100 cps range respectively?)

	* Reasonable price (under $300 is good, < $200 is better)

I had decided last year on a Panasonic 1091i(?), but since I didn't
get it then, I would appreciate current recommendations/views based
on experience (ideally). If a survey or summary has been done in the
recent past, a copy of that would be great.

E-mail reply is best, but if there is general interest, perhaps a
posting would be worthwhile. Thanx for the help.
