I tried reformatting the disk, but the symptom would return after any heavy I/O for long periods of time. I believed that the problem was Vfeature itself, seeing as though it is its job to track the file system beyond the 32Mg limit. My guess is that this is your problem as well. I have two suggestions for you: 1. Buy a copy of Disk Manager from Ontrack Systems Ontrack Computer Systems 6222 Bury Drive Eden Prarie, MN 55344 (800) 752-1333 It is a very good disk managing system like Vfeature, and I, as well as anyone else I know, have never had a problem with a disk after using it. 2. If you can afford it, trash the 3 COM server software, and buy the equivalent version of Novell's Netware OS for your 3 COM network. You will gain both speed and reliability from this upgrade. Please send me a reply so that I know that you received this memo. Respectfully submitted, Bill Fuller, Senior Systems Consultant
