The Everex EMAC MD2400 offers several options for action on loss of DTR using
the AT&Dx command, where x is a number from 0 to 3 (I think).  Basically,
you can cause the modem to either totally ignore DTR (&D0);  to revert to
command mode (&D1); turn off auto-answer and revert to the previous settings,
re-enabling auto-answer on the next DTR high (&D2); or completely reset (&D3).
It doesn't have any EEPROM :-(
