The cm string in the /etc/remote file is just sent, no interpretation appaers to be done, otehr than the \r\n... processing. So this means that I can not have tip auto send the breaks as part of the initial connection message without much hacking. So, I will just have to resort to useing {escape}# to do it. Jason
