The first time I try to (background) print from MacWrite 5.0 (after booting
my MacPlus), the spool file is (somewhat) created, MacWrite crashes, and the
Print Monitor reports that the spool file is damaged.  I can then reboot
MacWrite and print the same file without further difficulty, except for the
fact that the Spelling menu doesn't appear in the menu bar.

Setting the Preload flag in the Spelling MENU with ResEdit seems to have
cured the problem.
