Looking at the settlement from a user's point of view, it seems that 2
problems have been taken care of.

1. Official SEA Arc will now run faster, since SEA has PK's code.
2. The slightly different file formats (i.e. the PK extensions) no longer
    compete.

While I won't say (read- I'm too tired to compose my thoughts) what the
effects of this litigation will have on software publishers, from a user's
standpoint, I see no disadvantages to this settlement. And, except for
those who make tools to make tools, software publishers are in the business
of serving users' needs, are they not?
