Message-ID: <5004@pasteur.Berkeley.EDU> Date: 14 Aug 88 23:54:33 GMT Sender: news@pasteur.Berkeley.EDU Reply-To: hastings@cory.Berkeley.EDU (Mark Hastings) Organization: University of California, Berkeley Lines: 20 I've not heard anything about events at MacWorld -- I hope that doesn't mean that nothing interesting happened... :-) While waiting, I've been occupying myself with a new golf game called "World Class Leader Board" from Access Software. It's a definite improvement over MacGolf, and a far better job than I expected (more than a simple port of the PC version). A quick feature-list: - Action: You control the timing of the swing. Requires moderate dexterity or else you hook or slice it (just like real life!). - Digitized sounds and pictures ala MacGolf. - Course Architect (you create/modify your own courses). I haven't done much with this part, but it seems a little clumsy. - 4 courses: Doral, St. Andrews, Cypress Creek, and Gauntlet(!). - Only complaint: Doesn't keep low (high?) scores like MacGolf. For $36 (at ComputerWare), it's a worthy successor to MacGolf.
