I received SuperSpool 5.0 from Supermac Software just a few weeks ago.
It works superbly under the Multifinder environment. Supermac has
changed the program into an INIT, which gets loaded at startup time.
Eventhough I am running the 'famous' System 6.0, I have had no
problems with SuperSpool 5.0. The only thing is that you must startup
your Mac with either the Finder or Multifinder, no Command-Option
Double Click on the Multifinder from the finder. The reason for this
is that Superspool behaves as an application under Multifinder, and
allocates memory when it is printing (or despooling as they call it),
and deallocates it when it is done.

Overall, it behaves great with a very good interface via the DA (now
called Print Queue again). With the DA, you can deinstall Superspool
temporarily for those programs that access the Imagewriter directly
without following Apple standards, and reinstall again when you want.
By definition of the INIT, Superspool is there available at all times
after startup, unless you deinstall it or remove the INIT from the
system folder.

SuperSpool 5.0 runs with Suitcase, and behaves properly with Word
3.0.2, and many others. Amazingly enough, it FontDisplay 5.4 printed
out my large catalogue without error via SuperSpool. My
congratulations to Supermac on a job well done.

Upgrade information from old copies of SuperSpool may be obtained by
contacting SuperMac Software at 295 North Bernardo Ave, Mountain View,
