The pop-up menu even works (unlike behavior under System 6.0). If I write out the file with newlines instead of CRs, I can even create UNIX files with it directly, except for the first 128 bytes. And it doesn't even use TERMCAP! Look who's writing clean code now! ------------------------------cut here------------------------------ ^@^D^V^@^@^A^@^@Macintosh ^@^C^@^@^@^I^@^@^@\340^@^@^@ ^@^@^@^B^@^@^A^@^@ ^@^@^@^@^@^@^A^@^@^A^@^@^@^@\377^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@ ^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@ ^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@ ^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@ ^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@TEXTEarl^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@ ^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@ This text was typed in MicroEMACS 3.9e on a Mac II running A/UX 1.0, and written out using newlines for line terminator. MicroEMACS 3.9e is A/UX compatible, although what you do with the file header, I don't know. Boo! ------------------------------cut here------------------------------ Earle R. Horton.
