The mouse pointer also starts out on that monitor immed. after start up (I had that monitor turned off once and couldn't find the mouse pointer to save my life! Then I realized what must be going on.). So, it pays to have the menu screen be the one connected to the "earliest" video card. Otherwise, the addition of a second monitor is about as seamless as it could be. Try that with a PC!
