Message-ID: <17369@gatech.edu> Date: 18 Aug 88 11:01:13 GMT Organization: School of Information and Computer Science, Georgia Tech, Atlanta Lines: 31 -- I have a Tandy Model 4p that i would like to put to use as a terminal into my unix machine. The criteria that i am looking for are: * has to have the functionality of at least a VT-100, tho it does not have to be a vt100 emulator. Another terminal type will do. * It would be good if it could handle logging to an attached (local) line printer, for catching those pesky error msgs. that i always get. * it would be nice if i could get the 3 function keys to do what i want. * it should ba able to run at full speed (9600 baud, no?). * it must run with TRSDOS 6.2 or Montezuma CP/M 2.2 v.1.42. * obviously, it must have all the characters that unix needs. As I am sure this has been hashed out several thousand times before, please e-mail me. I will post if there is a lot of interest. Otherwise, i won't waste the bandwidth. ken seefried iii ...!{akgua, allegra, amd, harpo, hplabs, ken@gatech.edu inhp4, masscomp, rlgvax, sb1, uf-cgrl, ccastks@gitvm1.bitnet unmvax, ut-ngp, ut-sally}!gatech!ken
