I'm cross-posting this to comp.sources.wanted,
so that it will reach more USENET readers.

Let's have a discussion on stock analysis programs.
I know nothing about these, and would like to know
more:
	- what sort of data do you feed into such programs?
	- what sort of output do these programs generate?
	- any recommendations as to which programs are best?
	- any experience as to how well they work?
	- spreadsheet versions?
	- any Public Domain programs on USENET?

Personally, I have seen stock analysis programs advertised
in two different places:
	- PC-Stock, $3, advertised in one of the "card-packs"
	  that magazines often send you.
	- A stock program sold by NAIC (National Association
Investors Club). I don't remember the price.
