This is a lot better idea than keeping broken procs in the new roms. Adding
a new Malloc called Malloc2 (etc.) would say a lot to developers &
ST programmers in general about the quality in the ST. It's the best
of both worlds and would rather wait awhile longer to see this done, than
buy (or most likely NOT buy) ROMs that are only partially fixed. How
do we know we won't be stuck with similar bugs in future machine???
I for one wouldn't buy a 68030 or any nxt generation Atari if these
bugs were allowed to stand for ever.
