I thought that /sys/tcp/makehost.sh would still convert the NIC format
(AEGIS format) host table to the BSD format (/etc/hosts) in addition
to creating the internal, binary tables used by the AEGIS implementations.
My understanding was that neither the AEGIS TCP/IP nor the BSD TCP/IP
implementations read the NIC format local.txt file directly -- that
makehost.sh created the files necessary for both implementations from
the NIC format files.
