There exists a system called SPASCAL which implements much of the essential
features of the *simulation* component of Simula in ISO standard Pascal.
Actually, SPASCAL preprocesses a Simula-like, Pascal-like language into
ISO standard Pascal, where it can be compiled by a regular Pascal compiler.

Computer Simulation, _Modeling and Simulation on Microcomputers: 1984.
