What I meant was that if you currently use SEA ARC for comp.binaries.ibm.pc, you should switch to PKPAK, for the reasons I outlined. However, if you see (when it comes out) that ZOO is better than Phil's new program, or that Phil's new program isn't portable, please use ZOO. Why can Paradox import dBase and RBase files? It is standard to attempt to grab somebody else's users. That's called competition, and is the backbone of the American business world.
