We have a PS/2 model 60 computer and all the appropriate hardware to hook up the NEC. (well that's what we're told). After waiting six months for a d-connector to BNC cable we still are not seeing any hires pics. This cable should supply red, green, blue, and composite sync pulses to the monitor. However, a little probing with an oscilloscope shows that the "composite" sync is in fact only a horizontal sync. HELP! Does anyone know the proper connections for the 8514/A to an NEC XL? How about pinouts for the card? Any suggestions would be most appreciated. Please respond to me directly with EMAIL, since I don't get to this newsgroup very often. Thanks for any help, BOB Hirosky ************************************************************************ arpa: rhir_ltd@uhura.cc.rochester.edu bitnet: bob@uorhep.bitnet *********************************************************************** -- Arpa: eliz@cs.rochester.edu (Elizabeth Hinkelman) UUCP: ...{rocksvax|allegra|decvax}!rochester!eliz USnail: Department of Computer Science, U. of Rochester, N.Y. 14627
