Maynard) Organization: Confederate Microsystems, League City, TX Lines: 18 I've recently gotten yahtzee running, but have encountered a strange problem: when deciding which dice for the computer to keep on its next roll, sometimes the program loops. It will not respond to either a KILL or a QUIT, and it ties up the disk I/O channel (even though no disk I/O is going on) so that I can't run a ps -ef to find out which process to kill from another console. Environment is a PC/AT clone running Microport System V/AT 2.3.0-L, with two hard drives in three partitions, and 4 meg of RAM. E-mail "me too"s; I'll summarize any mailed responses. -- Jay Maynard, EMT-P, K5ZC...>splut!< | Never ascribe to malice that which can uucp: uunet!nuchat! | adequately be explained by stupidity. hoptoad!academ!uhnix1!splut!jay +---------------------------------------- {killer,bellcore}!tness1! | Birthright Party '88: let's get spaced!
