I'm happy that you found something that you feel is reliable and is sufficient
for your needs, but I feel that you could at least mention that there are other
manufacturers of products out there as well.  For instance, our BusExpander
provides the A500 or A1000 user with 6 Amiga slots and 6 IBM slots and has a 
suggested retail price of only $495.  The BusExpander is a computer subassembly
which fits into a user supplied Baby AT case and expects an IBM compatible
power supply.  We were showing and selling the product at the Chicago Ami-Expo.
To the best of my knowledge, ours is the only product to work with either the
A500 or the A1000.  This means that you can not only buy the less expensive
A2000 type peripherals, but if you have a 1000 and want Fat Agnus and extra 
chip RAM you need only replace your 1000 with a 500.
