Sub-shells from more do not work properly. Specifically, if more is
reading its input from a pipe, if you use !command to start a new
command, more returns instantly, and has the command running in the
background taking input from more's standard input, not from the
terminal.

Repeat-by:
ls -sFCR / | more
!ksh

and watch all those nice error messages instead of your interactive shell.

Note: This works fine if more is reading a file.
