Re: Hooking a BSR power controller system to the Amiga

I have recently purchased a HomeMinder system from Radio Shack on special
purchase for about $60. This system was originally marketed by GE for
a bunch of money. Radio Shack got to clear them out. It is basically
a computer system with BSR interface and video output in a box. You
can use the infrared remote to program the system on-screen with the
TV. In addition, you can call the unit on the phone (it has an interface)
and send touch tones to tell it what to do. As a result, my Amiga can
use my smart modem to call the unit (I have a PBX) and give instructions
with no direct physical connection. It is a nice fix!
