Lines: 12 ORG, like EDU, MIL, GOV, NET, and COM as well as the root of the name servers is currently handled by the Network Information Center at SRI. The key to getting a domain registered is to have somewhere for your servers to be. If you are on the Internet you can register your own server and find someone else to be your backup. If you are in UUCP-land, BITNET, or the non-internet part of CSNET, you can contact appropriate people on those networks who will provide Internet servers for you. In either case, once you get the servers, you fill out a piece of electronic form and mail it to REGISTRAR@SRI-NIC.ARPA -Ron
