NOW HOLD ON THERE, LET'S NOT BE HASTY!

You certainly CAN use the 7800 Proline Joystick with the ATARI line of
computers, all you've got to do is be careful when you use it:

	Never boot your system with the Joystick in the socket.
	Never reboot your system with the Joystick in the socket.

Why? 
	The IKBD is sensitive to highly resistive joysticks,
	DURING POWER UP and RESET.
	
MANY joysticks have this problem.

So don't leave the Proline plugged in when you boot.
