I should like some technical info on the following query. Can single
user software such as dBASE3+, 1-2-3, Autocad, Microsoft Word etc. be
used over a network of 2+ PC's or does one I have to buy network
versions of the programs?

If they can be used as is, is there anything special that will have to
be done to get them to work, apart from setting up the network itself
that is?

If they cannot be used as is, would someone explain the technical
reasons why not?

Cheers,
