Yes, you can specify which border color you want used for the "highlighted"
state, though not for "unhighlighted". The unhighlighted state is just the
same color with a stipple pattern. I suppose I could give the user two color
choices, but so far no one's asked.

Basically, you can use awm to make your "input accepting" window highlight
when they gain the focus. They don't have to have any decorations.
