Some of the requirements are: - structure definition capability - limited data type checking (warning messages on moving a word into a byte location, etc.) - command line/source code conditional assembly capability I am familiar with the Microsoft MASM 5.1 for MS-DOS and feel it is a very powerful assembler. Many of the features in MASM would be great to have. I would also appreciate other suggestions/requirements to consider in looking for a good assembler. --- Jerry Nettleton email: nett@gonzo.eta.com Software Engineer at&t: 612-642-8797 ETA Systems, Inc. usps: 1450 Energy Park Drive
