Someone asked if anyone had wired up the Vectrix console unit for the
Amiga. Since I happen to have some schematics for both the vectrix and
the Amiga I figured I would check it out. Basically they are damn close.

Here is the numbers :

	Vectrix Amiga
Pin 1	Button 0 Pin 1 Forward
Pin 2	Button 1 Pin 2	Back
Pin 3	Button 2 Pin 3	Left
Pin 4	Button 3 Pin 4	Right
Pin 5	Pot X Pin 5	Pot X
Pin 6	Pot Y ***	Pin 9	Pot Y
Pin 7	+5V Pin 7 +5 V
Pin 8	Gnd Pin 8	Gnd
Pin 9	-5V ??? probably pin 8

Note the vectrix uses 10K pots in the controller and expects -5 on the
other side of them. So you only get a range of 0-2.5 volts from the XY
controller, you can increase this by turning the internal adjustment pots
to minimum resistance.

These opinions are my own and no one elses, but you knew that didn't you.
