I have seen a number of notices that refer to automatic VMS MAIL
processors, that do things such as place mail in an account in NOTES,
or extract mail from an account and place it as files in a directory,
	or un-digestify INFO-VAX digests and do (?? whatrever ??).

I have run into a situation that could use an automatic mail
processor, which extracts all mail from an account and places it in a
directory (maybe one of several directories, depending on the ocntents
of the SUBJECT field, or the message itself). In the spirit of not
reinventing the wheel, does anyone have anything like this laying
arround already working. In fact, I'd be willing to look at other
	automatic mail processors as well.

The best of them (by far) is DELIVER. DELIVER was written by Ned Freed, and
is part of the PMDF package, though it has also been distributed separately on
INFOVAX (and may be in DECUS).

You should write to Ned (at NED@YMIR.bitnet) for more information.
