I hope to include as many details as I can, so as to encourage others to do what I have done. I am soliciting information on this subject. If you have had experience doing this and would like to contribute tips, please mail to me. In particular, I am interested in experiences with: - The Adaptec 4070 controler and RLL drives with the mac (I have only used the 4000A controler), - Public domain software for troubleshooting the Mac SCSI port, - Suppliers of parts, including the controler, cables, power supply, and cases. - Performance issues. I'll try to get the article posted by the end of the week. Any information is apprecieated. -david gingold gingold@endor.harvard.edu
