I can think of two places to look for media based kermit for the
3000 - one, as you've started with already, is Columbia University.
They sell tapes I think for $25 with source code and such for any
of their ported systems. I'd personally try the paper or voice route.

Second, the International Users Group of HP ('Interex'), based in
Mountain View, California, has contributed tapes and I'd bet they
have Kermit on one of them. You can reach them (according to
my records) at 415-968-3443.

Good hunting,

Miles
