As there has been some discussion on Sun-Nfs and Apollo-Nfs,
I (as an unexperiences NFS-user) have the following
question:

There is the NFSD, and there is the PCNFSD. Latter should
do the authentication, sais SUN/NFS. If they are functionally
identical, why does the "NET NAME * - Command" on the PC produce
an authentication failure? The password used should be the usual
one - am I wrong?

If they are not identical, where do I get an authentication program
from as the pcnfsd-source is not useable (without considerabel effort).

Thanks for any help
