Are we sure that this is true? Maybe I missed the discussion (our news
feed was down for a couple of days), but have the following questions
been conclusively answered:

	1) Does System 6.0 work on a 512KE with 3rd-party memory
	   and SCSI upgrades?

	   a) If it does, are there parts of it (like the Sound Manager)
that don't? If not, why not (in other words, why was it
designed to use PRAM that exists only on Mac Pluses and above)?

	2) Is it *supposed* to work, or is it just chance (i.e., has Apple
*officially* dropped support for anything less than a Mac Plus)?

I haven't gotten the new System yet, but I intend to *if* Apple is
officially supporting upgraded 512KE's. If this is the case, I'd be
interested in the INIT to allow the Sound Manager to work. Otherwise,
I'll stick with 5.0.

A response from someone at Apple would really be appreciated, because I
sense that there are others out there who are similarly confused.
