Science, Uni of Sydney, Australia Lines: 20 When I run scheme (MIT's CScheme) under emacs (as a buffer), or when running an inferior shell in emacs, I get control and escape sequences from the program output are "translated" into printable form - ^L, ^[p etc. On input, the reverse happens - I have to quote control characters so they are not treated as printable. (Quite often in Scheme I need to send ^G, to quit what I am doing). How can I stop this happening, so that they are treated as _real_ control and escape sequences? My screen looks like as though some chooks ran across it... Thanks, -- John Zic "Thesis? What's a thesis?"
