We have figured out why this happens and I've reported it to Stan.  The
reason is that the player whose turn it is *not* causes the xconq window to
be redrawn (eg by exposing another X window over it).  This causes input to
hang for the player who's trying to move.

The solution is to have the non-moving player click the mouse in the xconq
window; this frees up the screen of the moving player who can then continue
his turn.
