These commands start up processes on the remote network node, and pass back information via the network channel. What I would like to do is to make use of the same objects that these programs are calling, so I can do my own network parsing of this info. Seems like it would be easier than writing a new TASK. The objects are VPM= , PHONE=, and I forget the other. Is there anyway I can find out what the protocol is that these programs use to talk to their network partners? If there is a standard protocol I would like to get it so I can make them work for me. -- Jeff Capehart Internet: jdc@beach.cis.ufl.edu University of Florida UUCP: ..!uflorida!beach.cis.ufl.edu!jdc
