Does anyone have any scripts or filters to automatically generate
a usenet map entry from an L.sys file?

I'm contemplating something ad hoc with comments in the L.sys file,
like so:

# map local umix(LOCAL)
umix Any TCP uucp login foo password bletch
# map merit b-tech(HOURLY)
# contact b-tech!zeeff, 555-1212
b-tech Never polls us regularly

producing a map like so:

# Local on-campus stuff.
mailrus umix(LOCAL),sharkey(LOCAL),...

# Merit dial-ups - contact emv@mailrus if you're in Michigan
mailrus b-tech(HOURLY)

# Internet/NSFnet connections

mailrus ames(DEDICATED),....

I'll probably hack something up today but if anyone has approached
the problem before I'd welcome suggestions.
