[RAID, Rid Any Insects Directly]

I've had the opportunity to play with VMS 5.0, and I'd like to say that
I'm *VERY* impressed with EVE 2.0. The reason that I bring this up is because
I've seen a question floating around this bboard asking about getting a numeric
keypad in TPU. EVE 2.0 includes the following commands:

     1) set keypad [no]numeric
     2) set keypad [no]edt
     3) set keypad [no]wps ! What good this one is I don't know :-)

EVE 2.0 also finally manages to do most things right, like allowing n
windows (instead of one or two), various types of wildcard searches, bolding of
the word found in searches, etc, etc.

A general comment about 5.0 is that it appears to clean up a great many
loose ends that were in 4.0. MAIL is much nicer, SYSMAN is OK (I haven't had
a chance to play with it yet, but I've heard good things), and everything else
has more shine and is newer.

DEC: Good job on the software guys! Now it's time to beat up those
marketing people and clean up your price/performance curve...
