I'm running on a tight schedule, so I don't have time to tell you all the
gorey details, but DO NOT BUY the TDI compiler. 

Just a sample:  The latest release for the 'developer's' version was so
carelessly put together that it included a Mac file in the demo source
directory.  Not to mention that it takes way too much memory to run, is slow
and gives you utilities (in the developer's version) that are buggy.
[I still remember reading the documentation for the kermit that was
touted as being included with the compilier:  "currently the send function
is not implemented..."]   That about sums-up the caliber of TDI's software.
