Phys Dept, W.Lafayette, IN Lines: 16 Here is any interesting bug/feature I've just turned up on the Mac II runing A/UX: Running a program which uses the Macintosh toolbox under A/UX in a directory which has a subdirectory named "System" will cause the program to crash on startup (usually in InitWindows() actually). What appears to be happening is that the toolbox mistakes the directory named "System" with the system resource file, and attempts to open it as such. The problem occurs in A/UX version 1.0 [This one took a while to track down.] ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Carrick Talmadge | DISCLAIMER: The opinions expressed in this clt@newton.physics.purdue.edu | article are those of the author (clt), and ..!pur-ee!pur-phy!clt | may not coincide with those of his employer.
