The Dove 1MB is why. The only real difference (besides the layout of the mother board) between the 512ke and the plus is the RAM. a 512 has 512K, and the plus has 1024K. When I upgraded to a plus, we opened her up, popped out the ROM chips, then popped them into the plus board, and slid the new board in. The ROM is the same, the RAM is greater. So, by virtue of having the 1mb upgrade from Dove, you have, in essence, a plus. -ajw Andy J.
