Subject: Mapping Between VMS Accounting I/O counts and Number of Bytes Xferd?

I have been attempting to find a correlation between the number of bytes
transferred using the I/O counts in the VMS Accounting records. Experiments
that I have done seem to indicate no multiplier factor. This probably is
no unexpected since it does indicate they are COUNTS. Am I really missing
something here?

Another question, assuming I want I/O byte counts for accounting and/or
security analysis, is this information present anywhere that can be picked
up?

Thanks....
