First of all, I'd like to see future versions of Elm's queries only
accept 'y' or 'n' for such responses. I just got done hacking 1.7 to
do this after my users whined loud enough about it.

That aside, a friend found an archive of flock() modified elm sources
at purdue and gave me the copy. I tested the code and found that when it
tries to leave it duplicates the mbox or whatever and says you have
n times more mail. Seems to be returning something wrong, which I haven't
found yet. Anyone know whose code this was and have a solution (before I
figure it out)? Am running on a 4.3 tahoe box.

I impatiently await 2.0 like everyone else ;-)
