Of the dealers I have known (before I joined C/A), 1 was fantastic, 1 was very good, and one was mediocre/poor (was more interested in selling macs, but wasn't evil or anything). It's just that people who have had bad experiences tend to tell others, because they're annoyed (rightfully). Remember there are around 12-15,000 people who read comp.sys.amiga, that's a lot of people who may have run into bad dealers. Now, don't get me wrong, I detest bad dealers, and think any is too many. I just want you to remember there are quite a few (hopefully a large majority) of good dealers out there. If you find such a dealer, support him.
