Currently I am under the disadvantage of exec-ing it from a .login shell as I log in. This seems to work with only 1 strange occurance. Within my ksh .profile I start up uwm, xterm, xclock and xrload in the background (ala &) and find that when I get to the prompt, I cannot see the job names for these processes - I just see the job numbers. This is a X10 implementation of the above programs. Anyone know why ksh doesnt know about the job names? Thanks! -- Larry W.
