Message-ID: <4460@medusa.cs.purdue.edu> Date: 9 Jul 88 15:41:48 GMT Sender: news@cs.purdue.EDU Organization: Department of Computer Science, Purdue University Lines: 13 RCS is available via anonymous ftp on arthur.cs.purdue.edu. Grab pub/rcs/rcs.tar.Z. This distribution is for version 4 of the software, the 4.3 BSD distribution contained version 3. The current version has all known problems from earlier versions fixed, and runs correctly under Sun OS 3.x. (The 4.3 BSD RCS dumps core on suns). Guy Harris deserves much credit for many of the fixes, including getting RCS running in Sun4 machines. RCS is not being actively supported, but problems/fixes that are reported eventually get merged back into the distribution. -- Thomas Narten narten@cs.purdue.edu or {ucbvax,decvax,ihnp4}!purdue!narten
