The WD8003 comes in two flavors: Ethernet and Starlan. Has anyone
gotten NCSA 2.2 to work with the Starlan flavor? It runs at 1 meg
instead of 10 and presumably this means some mods to NCSA itself. I
tried it quickly, through a Retix Starlan<->Ethernet bridge, and was
able to ping the PC a few times before it hung -- I haven't done any
more extensive testing yet.
