Just a short one to inquire as to why I never see much at all
on this group about Frame Maker. I've been using it on my Sun 3/50
for about 1-1/2 years, and it has served me very well, both for the
usual sort of text work as well as for viewgraphs here. And, in what
could be considered an inexcusable abuse of software, I've even used
it to make camera-ready printed-circuit artwork!

While it is arguably not adequate for general-purpose commercial
typesetting, it does more than live up to Frame's claim of a "desktop-
publishing package for mainstream UN*X users." For 98% of internal
and limited-distribution-external copy work, in my estimation Frame
Maker seems to do the job. I'm just puzzled that I don't hear more
about it.

For example, does anybody have comments about Frame's entry
in the Mac market? Pretty overpriced, huh?
