Keywords: GNU, etags Message-ID: <991@actnyc.UUCP> Date: 30 Jun 88 21:49:08 GMT Reply-To: rmf@actnyc.UUCP (Robert M. Fuhrer) Organization: InterACT Corporation Lines: 16 I just noticed that GNU Emacs 18.51 seems to loop when I run list-tags specifying the last file mentioned in the TAGS file. The TAGS file was generated by the etags from the 18.51 distribution. For instance, I cd'ed to the lisp directory, ran 'etags *.el', went back to Emacs, did a visit-tag-table for that TAGS file, and then list-tags on yow.el (the alphabetically last .el file. Emacs sat there for a bunch of seconds, garbage collected a couple of times, by which point I suspected something was up. I quit, and went into the TAGS buffer, added a ^L after the last line, re-ran list-tags, and it worked. Anybody know whether I'm doing something wrong, or discovered a bug? -- The Foundation for Unmitigated Sillyness uunet!actnyc!rmf Department of Redundancy Department City of Kansas City, Kansas
