(OCR-A is a funny-looking machine-readable type face, vaguely similar to the magnetic-ink printing on checks.) Does anyone out there know where I can find an OCR-A font at a reason- able cost (preferably as inexpensive as possible)? If possible, I would like a bit-mapped version which I could port to a 24-pin-head dot-matrix printer with downloading capability. More generally, is there any BBS (including an Internet site accessible via anonymous FTP) with a good collection of PD and/or shareware fonts? -- Rich Wales // UCLA Computer Science Department // +1 (213) 825-5683 3531 Boelter Hall // Los Angeles, California 90024-1596 // USA wales@CS.UCLA.EDU ...!(uunet,ucbvax,rutgers)!cs.ucla.edu!wales "We would all become unpeople, undoing unthings untogether."
