I use elm (extracted from the novavax sources) and it's great.
As you probably note (see top of page) my site is in Holland, Europe.
When I type crypt from the shell command line the system tells me that
crypt is not supported outside of the united states, but the [encode]
ecrypting of elm works. I don't know if it is the same as inside the
USA though, but at least there must be a crypt call in the c library.
