Physics Dept., W. Lafayette, IN Lines: 19 [for the bogus "" eater] I was able to borrow a friends printer for the summer so I decided to see what I could get down on paper with NotePad and proff (a nroff type utility). After two night of playing around I've come the usual conclusion that I won't waste my time with NotePad (although I do like the ability for fonts etc.) and just work with proff. I know nroff (and variants) so this is no big deal. What I have came off of Fish #9 (I think) so I'm asking if there is an update to this? I wouldn't even bother if the ".wr/.write" command worked as it is supposed to. You could make macros with this command to do what I would want to do (if I get rich I'll buy AmigaTeX :-)) but it breaks the output line! AAAAARRRROOUUUGGGHHH!!!! The nice manual says that it shouldn't, and I wish it wouldn't, but it does. Before I start mucking around in the source I just wanted to know if anyone else had already fixed it? Please???? Thanks in advance, tlm@newton.physics.purdue.edu
