According to my APDA manual on the MacII innards, the machine has a temperature
sensor that will shut off the machine if it gets too hot.  I've yet to 
test this directly...

I put a fan from Fry's electronics into mine & halved the amount of noise
my MacII makes.  Still, however, it's too noisy for me.  Next thing to try
is to reconnect the fan's power from the +12V to the +5V line (those red
wires attached to the motherboard).  Has anyone out there done this?  With
just a video board in the box, will this give me enough circulation?
