Summary: PROCOMM PLUS vt100 emulation Message-ID: <777@lakesys.UUCP> Date: 25 Jun 88 14:59:35 GMT References: <1783@loral.UUCP> <4330092@hpindda.HP.COM> Organization: Lake Systems, Milwaukee Wisconsin Lines: 11 My copy of PCPLUS 1.1A arrived this week. Thus far I have not noticed any differences, though the documents list several. I've read several complaints about vt100 emulation in PCPLUS. Specifically that a backspace in vi or emacs erases characters on the screen (but not in the file) when a backspace should not erase characters from the screen. Well, if you change PCPLUS' backspace interpretation from destructive to non-destructive, this "problem" will not occur. I use PCPLUS' vt100 emulation *a lot* and have had no problems yet.
