View, CA Lines: 19 Has anyone out there been able to put an STB VGA Extra/EM card on Xenix successfully? There is supposed to be a newer 100% VGA register compatible version out soon, so I would be looking at this one, not the BIOS compatible one out earlier. I'm using a Compaq 286. I'd also be interested if you have any flames on this particular card. If this card isn't a viable option, are there any other EVGA cards ( 800 x 600 x 256 colors ) cards available that would meet these criteria? I realize that SCO doesn't support these extended modes at this time, but I'd like the availability of the extended VGA modes for the future when I can find or write a driver myself. For now having working driver support for the straight EGA, VGA modes with minimal or no hardware compatibility gotchas would suffice. Mike Neff mneff@sun.com or Coyote@cup.portal.com
