Message-ID: <5326@ecsvax.uncecs.edu> Date: 29 Jun 88 19:20:59 GMT Organization: UNC - Chapel Hill Lines: 23 Someone at our place had read a quick blurb from Apple on the new LaserWriter IINTX that indicated the printer protocols on the printer were Postscript, a subset of Diablo 630 (as usual), and HwOewlettPackard LaserJet Plus emulation. That's the first that we've heard of that and, of course, our Apple system engineer is on vacation. (What's a vacation :-)?) Anyway ... has anyone actually seen/tried one of these beasties?? Particularly : (1) has anyone else heard about this HP emulation? (2) does it work? (3) how is it accessed, particularly (4) how could PCs atta ched to the LW (either via RS-232 or Appletalk) access that feature? Any info would be greatly appreciated.
