I know nothing about NTP and very little about TCP/IP and the various
protocols, so this is probably a dumb question but here goes...

Can a normal user ask one of the "time machines" for the *right* time?
Does anyone have a quickie program to do this? I would like to see
how it works. I mean if someone is broadcasting the info, other uses
could certainly be made of it...
Thanks in advance.
