	I don't have the manual right in front of me, but if memory serves,
	spawn() can only be used to start a .com or .exe. It should work to
	start command.com, if that's what sent to spawn() as the .com file.
	To start a .bat file, use system("xxxx");  .

	The system() call invokes another command.com shell.
