In article <1686@vaxb.calgary.UUCP> maloff@calgary.UUCP (Sheldon Maloff) asks
asks if the problem evidenced in 2.8 kermit xfer is also present in 2.6.
The answer is no. I screwed it up in 2.8. The bug doesn't exist in any
prior level.
2.9 is shaping up pretty well and, if my luck holds and I continue to
get 3-4 hours to myself per week, it should be out in July or August. So
far I've got external transfer programs working--you specify in your init
file what the menu item will look like and the program (and arguments)
that are necessary to send and receive files. Of course, the send and
receive programs may be different. It also supports user-specified font
size, will have an AREXX port (but you don't have to use it), multiple
ON commands active at any time, AbortIO() fixes (once I figure out the
"right" answer), more kermit fixes (mostly for half-dux users) and more.
