  I once heard a rumour that there used to be a program that would track down 
and map out all the nodes on a DECnet network. I imagine it used something 
like an "NCP TELL node SHO ACTIVE NODES" command, and then deciphered the 
results. 

  Does anyone know if such a tool exists, and from where it might be obtained?
