     Now I may be totally wrong on this, but I am sure I read
somewhere that Commodore would have an upgrade for the 2090 to make it
into a 2090a for all those folks who have hard-disk controllers that
won't autoboot.  If I remember, all that needed to be replaced were
some ROM chips.  However, I have no idea where I read this.  Can
anyone (specifically Commodore) either verify or shoot down this rumor?

    If this is all complete nonsense, then please forgive this posting.
