I have a cluster of (2) 8350s & a 780. the 780 has a non-dec ethernet i/f the 8350s just got upgraded to debnas. run decnet and win/tcp. i noticed the problem when trying to get some decserver200s to request a download without powering down. network support team in co. said they developed this patch to make etdriver give back buffers it allocates for lavc permanently , it works. if you have s/w support you can also get it from them. my win/tcp update came after i got the patch.
