All the Mac II RGB monitors I've ever seen have this problem.  What the
hell is it?  Anyone from apple out there listening?

I'm not sure if its a coincidence, but the line looks like its just about
the position where the Plus/SE screen would end if you superimposed it
on the Mac II.   It appears under all conditions, even at the start of
boot up, so I would guess its a hardware design flaw of some kind.
