In the interest of fair play, I'm gathering information about any typesetting software available on PC type machines. WYSIWYG systems are most interesting to me; note that TeX or troff ports are completely uninteresting (I already believe they work). So far, I'm pretty ignorant. I read a short book about "Word Perfect" and decided that (contrary to what some PC fans here told me) this program may be an OK word processor/text editor, but it's not a real typesetter. What else is out there? What about PageMaker and related layout programs? Bear in mind that the kind of work I do with TeX involves using a wide variety of features. -- Mike McNally of Lynx Real-Time Systems uucp: lynx!m5 (maybe pyramid!voder!lynx!m5 if lynx is unknown)
