Just so that things are *PERFECTLY* clear here. The *only* thing that 
1.3 *KICKSTART* buys you is the ability to automatically boot from a 
hard disk. Chances are you don't need this so you might want to save
your pennies for a 1.4 *KICKSTART* ROM instead, which not only autoboots
but supports the new chips, and fixes all known bugs :-) (actually, it
may just substitute new bugs for the old ones, but the ones that may or
may not be bothering you now should be fixed.)

Now 1.3 *WORKBENCH* is a different beast entirely, and will have many
improvements and everyone should get it and it will work on all systems.
(with 1.2 or 1.3 kickstart). When it will be released is anyones guess,
my guess is in a month or so. 

So far the only commercial software that doesn't work with 1.3 is the
Titus game "Crazy Cars" which calls the ROM directly. You should have
seen the nuclear flame I sent them!
