It's quite easy; remember that the NBS output indicates how much it advances the on-second marker when you echo the marker back. I've used the NBS software a half dozen times now from northern NJ via AT&T, and I get pretty consistent propagation delays of 57-58 ms at 1200 baud. I haven't gotten a satellite path yet. Phil
