I recently brought up SunOS 4.0, and the old X binaries pretty much ran. The only problems I had were that xperfmon didn't work, and running "vi" or "less" in an xterm caused the window to return to it's state before I ran them (removing the output of less and vi) when they exited. Well, I thought I'd rebuild all of the X stuff, hopefully to fix these problems, and just for good measure. Well, you know what they say about not fixing what isn't broken... Now my console xterm gets an EOF whenever I hit a key, and uwm doesn't see any events at all, it seems. Xterm still has problems with "less", but I fixed the problem in xperfmon (a divide by zero). Any suggestions as to what I can do to get at least my console xterm and uwm working again, or should I just get out my dump tapes... -- Jeff Lo ..!{ames,hplabs}!elan!jlo Elan Computer Group, Inc.
