Recently, we lost several files on backup tapes (cartridge). These tapes were
written among DN3000s and a DN3010. I made a service call to Apollo and one of
their service rep. came out to check out the drives. Nothing wrong could be
found with the drives, and the service rep. said that the hardware of the 3010
has a 'bug' in it that can cause wbak to lose track of the tape position.
rbak'ing was fine, but not wbak'ing between 3000 and 3010. My question-has
anyone else experience this??
