Herman) Distribution: na Organization: Naval Ocean Systems Center, San Diego Lines: 10 -- I am looking for tools, compilers, and an operating system to build a data collection system on an 80386 computer. The majority of the system will be written in FORTRAN and being to quickly store data from the bus to the space above the one megabyte barrier is required. Operating system interrupt latency should be small though the use of buffered A/D devices should help in that regard. Any suggestions/experiences would be helpful. Thanks. -- John Herman ARPA: herman@marlin.nosc.mil
