I got this board on approval two weeks ago and, despite a couple of hours on-line with Arnet engineers (who claim that the product works fine on every 386 of their acquaintance), it consistently crashes when 'aspserv' is loaded and one of two otherwise benign programs (work great with a Digiboard) is run. Curiously, these same two programs, when compiled and run on a 286 with the Arnet, purr. Arnet seems to have thrown up their hands on this (they didn't write their driver) so I'll be returning the board shortly unless someone has a clue. The 386 machine here is a 20mHz Mini-Micro (System Micro 386) with a 10mHz bus. -- +----- + Steve Manes + decvax!philabs!cmcl2!hombre!magpie!manes Magpie BBS: 212-420-0527 + SmartMail: manes@magpie.MASA.COM
