   From the 'what I read on my summer vacation' corner...
   I'm halfway through a book which touches on the whole topic of
   the relationships among cognitive psych, AI, philosophy, etc.
   It's called _The Computational Philosophy of Science_, by Paul
   Thagard of SUNY Binghampton. Cambridge Mass : MIT Press, 1988.
   He goes into the utility of writing programs to simulate mental
   processes, & goes one beyond Kuhn xor Popper in proposing a method
   for the phil. of sci. It seems to be a pretty comprehensive &
   readable textbook, with tutorials at the back & a good bibliography.
   {Hey, I can't help it. I'm a librarian.}
