Sounds like a good solution to me. I for one would really miss the
binaries groups if they were eliminated. I don't mess around with the
local DOS bbs's for binaries anymore. One reason is I've spent literaly
hundreds of hours in the past downloading new stuff from them only to
find out later they were either junk or not really what I was interested
in.

Most of the DOS bbs's I've been around don't even bother testing
the uploads. I'd much rather get DOS binaries from the net from
somebody thats already tried it and to tell ya the the truth, I trust
the netheads a lot more than I do the local bbs kids when it comes
to fear of contagious viruses. I say leave the binaries groups alone
but if that positively can't be then moderate it. Even if it does
slow everything down, moderation is better than nothing at all.

The whole idea of eliminating the binary groups to me is just plain
stupid. It's here, it works and a lot of people benefit from it.

Don't fix something that isn't broken.
