I don't know about the Hurricane board but the "original" CSA board still runs FSII, JET, MarbleMadness, and ChessMaster2000(not sure about this one - it's been a while) on my A1000. MarbleMadness (in 32-bit RAM) plays noticedly faster and with two players it's like a normal A1000 w/ one player. I just got PixelMate and have had no problems. Digi-View, when processing changes in the color menu, is significantly "speeded up" by an '020. If anyone wants to send me a list of programs and their experiences I'll tabulate them and produce a summary in, say 3-weeks? Addresses below. Send the game/utility/whathaveyou as well as what '020 board, how much if any 32-bit RAM, and experiences you'd like to relate. ] I assume that decigel will handle virtually anything I'm running in ] the standard DOS environment that I use with my hard disk etc. but ] will I have a box full of games that won't run unless I swap the 68K ] back into the system?? Big assumption! Some games, like the FD (Freely Distributable) Amoeba, won't work because they rely on the "speed" of the 68000 when they're doing their display hacks and not, for instance, waiting for the vertical blanking to occur before updating the screen. (Correct me if I'm wrong/misphrased/misinformed) I'm curious to see what happens to all the software when the V1.3 math libraries arrive with their detection and use of the '881!!! -Rusty- ---- Rusty Haddock {uunet!likewise, cbosgd, rutgers!mtune}!hocpa!rusty AT&T Consumer Products Laboratories - Human Factors Laboratory Holmdel, New Joyzey 07733 (201) 834-1023 rusty@hocpa.att.com -- Rusty Haddock {uunet!likewise, cbosgd, rutgers!mtune}!hocpa!rusty AT&T Consumer Products Laboratories - Human Factors Laboratory Holmdel, New Joyzey 07733 (201) 834-1023 rusty@hocpa.att.com
