How many of you have 64K chips just lying around from another computer? (I do) Or, they could sell the software as a high performance read ahead buffering package for hard disks and floppies, so those of you with 8 meg memory (me? Nah, another two years before I can afford it) can get the high speed, and those of us with 2 meg can at least get better than facc.
