Well, you aren't the first person to mistake me for a listserver.  I guess
I should count myself lucky that you spelled my name wrong.  I'm bemused
by your post, since it's hard for me to believe that anyone whose been
READING info-apple (aka comp.sys.apple) long enough to know that apple2-l
exists would 1) not know that it's at BROWNVM (in Providence, Rhode Island)
NOT uconnvm (in Storrs, CT), and 2) wouldn't have seen enough mail posted
from my address to realize that I'm not a file server.

Yes, that Connecticut is CLOSE to Rhode Island, but anyone who can operate
a computer at all HAS to know how much "close" buys you.
If you know that the files are on a "list server" wouldn't you THINK that
something like LISTSERV would be a sensible address?

Ah well, I guess the gunney sargeant was correct: "No matter how hard
you try, 10% of the people won't get the word."
