Can anybody tell me why I should buy the CSA rather than Hurricane? |Is it more compatible? | |Do both of the boards come with a way to switch back to the 68000 through |software or do you actually remove the chip The Hurricane board REQUIRES removal of the 68000. The CSA board lets you have the 68000 on the main board. |and make changes that would require |opening the box if you have incompatible software? Besides removal of the 68000, intallation of the Hurricane board is just that. Depending on your B2000 model rev, the CSA board WILL REQUIRE hardware modification of the motherboard (which include soldering), which will VOID YOUR WARRANTY. Also these modification are not for the "casual" user. Even after these modifications, the CSA board MIGHT not work. As far as I know, thes Hurricane board does not have the same problems as the CSA board.
