Keywords: uucp domain expo address Message-ID: <2751@nicmad.UUCP> Date: 31 May 88 14:26:37 GMT Organization: Nicolet Instruments, Biomedical Division Lines: 51 What's the correct mail path to get to "expo" from the UUCP domain? Since there is not any map entry available for "expo.lcs.mit.edu". (there isn't even an entry for the ".lcs.mit.edu" domain) I assumed that "mit-eddie" would be able to find "expo". I was wrong. This is the address I sent my request for bug fixes to: "uwvax!ll-xn!mit-eddie!expo!xstuff" This is what I got back: ----- failed mail starts here ----- From uwvax!ll-xn!mit-eddie!uucp Sun May 29 22:33:24 1988 Received: by nicmad.UUCP (5.51/5.17) id AA07373; Sun, 29 May 88 22:33:21 CDT Received: from ll-xn.UUCP by spool.cs.wisc.edu; Thu, 26 May 88 09:58:41 CDT Received: by XN.LL.MIT.EDU; Thu, 26 May 88 10:52:18 EDT Posted-Date: 26 May 88 10:51:10 EDT (Thu) Date: 26 May 88 10:51:10 EDT (Thu) From: uwvax!EDDIE.MIT.EDU!ll-xn!MAILER-DAEMON Subject: failed mail To: nicmad!hill Message-Id: <8805261051.AA10081@EDDIE.MIT.EDU> ======= command failed ======= COMMAND: /usr/bin/uux -gC '-all-xn!uwvax!nicmad!hill' -r - expo!rmail '(xstuff)' ======= standard error follows ======= bad system name: expo uux failed. code 68 ======= text of message follows ======= >From ll-xn!uwvax!nicmad!hill Received: by EDDIE.MIT.EDU with UUCP with smail2.5 with sendmail-5.45/4.7 id; Thu, 26 May 88 10:50:54 EDT Received: by XN.LL.MIT.EDU; Thu, 26 May 88 10:44:56 EDT Posted-Date: Thu, 26 May 88 09:19:06 CDT Received: from nicmad.UUCP by spool.cs.wisc.edu; Thu, 26 May 88 09:38:27 CDT Received: by nicmad.UUCP (5.51/5.17) id AA02668; Thu, 26 May 88 09:19:06 CDT Date: Thu, 26 May 88 09:19:06 CDT From: ll-xn!uwvax!nicmad!hill@EDDIE.MIT.EDU (Ray Hill) Message-Id: <8805261419.AA02668@nicmad.UUCP> To: xstuff@expo.UUCP Subject: send fixes 21 22 23 24 25 ----- failed mail ends here ----- What is the correct mail address to use to get X11.2 bug patches?
