I'm hoping that someone out there can give us a bit of a hand... The Microcom AX9624C is a 9600 bps error-correcting modem with 212A or V.22 bis compatibility and data compression for 19.2K bps-like performance. I was wondering if someone out there has a similar modem that would allow us to connect at more than 2400 bps and shovel a lot of stuff (ie: news) around so we can see how well these suckers work over longer distances than just across the machine room. This is most likely to be a short duration test (say a week). It doesn't look like these modems will talk to Trailblazers, but I'm not quite so sure - I thought that the newer Trailblazers speak MNP too. -- Chris Lewis, Spectrix Microsystems Inc, Phone: (416)-474-1955 UUCP: {uunet!mnetor, utcsri!utzoo, lsuc, yunexus}!spectrix!clewis Moderator of the Ferret Mailing List (ferret-list,ferret-request@spectrix)
