From time to time I read some comments about the OMNI2115. At my institute we have two af these. One for more the a year and a second one for about a half year. - Some time ago I read something about the OPC getting bad after about 4K pages about a quarter of the end of the page. I hev a similar experience for our oldest, but this occured after about 9K. - About a month ago we had some problems with the paper feeding mechanism This was displayed as: "Jam at transfer". The technician could not repair it at out location, so he took the 2115 with him. Later I heard that some kind of sensor was malfunctioning, and had it replaced. - Last week, however, we had the similar problem. I hope this does not contnue. - Does anybody have an opinion concerning a maintenance contract?? Regards, Hin Oey (Netherlands) hin@tnosel
