Has anybody else experienced problems with SRPs? It seems that on our
VAXstation 2000, running as a satellite in a LAV cluster the number of SPRs in
use keeps growing. When the VAXstation was running a few weeks we noted that
the number of SRPs was well above the system parameter SRPCOUNT. We increased
SRPCOUNT in the following weeks with a few 100 a time. Now, after VMS on the
VAXstation is up for about 2 months without shutdown or system crash, the
number of SPRs is again more than 100 above SRPCOUNT. The ADD_SRPCOUNT line in
MODPARAMS.DAT is already greater than 1000. It seems that someone (DECnet?) is
eating SRPs a few tens per day. Should I continue to increase SRPCOUNT?
