i have both "balance of power" and "ancient art of war" ... they are
both amazing games ... "balance of power" is next to impossible to win,
however ... the whole object of the game is to survive 10 (15?) years
without starting a nuclear war ... and to end up with more prestige
points than the opposing player ... it's really hard to do against the
computer ...

ancient art of war is a great game as well ... there a many different
campaigns that come with the game, and you can always devise your own
this game takes a lot of strategic thinking to win, but is easier to
win than balance of power ...

i hope this helps, even though it is a reply almost 2 months after teh
orignal query...
