This is an interesting issue which should be raised within the ANSI X3S3.3 committee. I also conclude from your remarks that the public X.25 community has come up with "a scheme that doesn't hammer the network to its knees when something goes wrong." Please, I desperately need to know what scheme you have in mind. Dave
