Bradakis) Organization: University of Utah CS Dept Lines: 20 Keywords: swap leak vmstat iostat Has anyone gotten versions of vmstat or iostat running under HP-UX? We currently are experiencing problems with running out of page or swap space on HP-UX 5.22, 320s and 350s, with no idea of what is really happening. Symptoms are that you can run a large program, like CL, once. If you exit the process, and later try to start another the system claims "not enough space". I'd like to look into this problem, but I have no real idea where to start. A tool along the line of vmstat might prove useful to start tracking down stuff like this. Any help? Thanks, mjb. --------------- mjb%hoosier@cs.utah.edu "I take this medicine as prescribed, I'll sleep when I'm dead. It don't matter if I get a little tired, I'll sleep when I'm dead."
