If it's a Unix-like shell you want, try Aztec C. It has a Unix-like shell that runs under prodos. It has ls, rm, cp, cd, mv, mkdir, pr, pwd, cat, diff, grep, cmp among others and an exec file language with looping. Of course, you also get C. It would be a little expensive to buy just for the shell, though. See Byte magazine for Manx's ads for their Aztec C compiler if you are interested.
