I got a genlock back in January, right after it came out. I noticed an
immediate problem: after a few minutes, the display would fade out. Operation
of the computer was unaffected. Pulling up and/or pushing in gently on the
connector brought the display back for another few minutes. Unwilling to send
back what I had waited so long for, I took it apart. Touching a solderind iron
to the connections of the DB23 connector fixed the problem. For about 5 1/2
months. A few weeks ago, it showed up again out of the blue. Re-doing the fix
worked for two days this time. Maybe the comnnector itself is bad. I haven't
had time to look at it.

Aside from this problem, which I suspect is one-of-a-kind and not general,
I've been very pleased.
