I have been thinking and saying for years that racism is NOT a purely white problem. I know of a woman who actively searches for racism and often finds it where it doesn't exist. She offends an awful lot of people that way. It needs to be recognized that racism exists in all groups that are not isolated (the exception is groups in isolated pockets such as the tribe in "The Gods Must Be Crazy"). Once all people see racism in themselves, as well as others, the problem can be corrected.
