BUT the local dealer has never heard of this, and the "offical Apple Rep, just in from the West Coast" says that he "strongly discourages" any such notion. Huh? (Apparently he believes that Bell Labs lacks the technical capability :-) SO: what is the true story? What spec. chips are needed? Anyone done this? I'd really appreciate an answer from APPLE. (It's hard enough to "infiltrate" macs into the lab, without problems in getting basic technical information.)
