Since then I have not heard much about it. As I recall, the device being used was the "JRAM2-3". We have on our IBM/PC XT, an American Computer & Peripherals above function card - fitted with 2Mb - which we wish to use as a ram-disc. Once this has been achieved, one of our masters degree students will - as a summer project - attempt to add swapping to the memory management. Our first problem, is information on the above function card. As most of these cards operate in a similar way can anyone who has looked at driving one of these devices for a ram-disc please contact me by e-mail with any info'. Thanks in advance. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ SENDER : "James E Lyons" PHONE : +44 091-232 9233 POST : Computing Lab, University of Newcastle upon Tyne, UK, NE1 7RU ARPA : "lyo"%cheviot.newcastle.ac.uk@ucl-cs.arpa JANET : "lyo"@uk.ac.newcastle.cheviot UUCP :!ukc!cheviot!"lyo"
