I, for one, have wished for a version of Phantasia which has a more peaceful
intent; alas, this will require better AI than we have now.  (Humans, who
have intelligence, _still_ prefer fighting to diplomacy because it's easier.
Are you surprised that computers are limited to the simpler route?)
