Two kinds of problems occured. The first one is the electrical protocol used by Midi: it can be easily solved using an optocouplor. The second one is more serious: I've not found how to obtain the good speed on the serial port because it is not available on a Z8530 clocked at 3.672MHZ. How to solve this problem? Does there exist another solution than using a serial-parallel-serial exterior transformation with two UART? Jerome BORDIER bordier@imag.UUCP or {seismo.css.gov|mcvax|inria}!imag!bordier
