The sendmail.cf file on a BSD4.x system can be tweaked to automatically include a "Reply-to:" header of almost any desirable format; unfortunately, you must be the superuser to do this, and the change will affect all users. Its biggest win is that it works for all mail-sending agents, GNUmacs and otherwise.
