Also, there is a finite, but detectable delay in the cable, due to the added distance between the card and the slot. They (the makers of slot extenders) do not recommend using it for things which are sensitive to noise, or high-speed applications. (Coprocessors, drive controllers, Ram cards, etc.) Unfortunately, what you want to do involves one of these devices, and chances are, it will not work very well, if at all.
