Loren Jones here in Fargo has a well known BBS where a lot of the who's who in the PC community hang their hats, eg. John Friel III, Phil Katz, V. Buerg etc. Loren's Board was one of the first places that Phil released the PK series of programs. When Loren heard about SQUASHING he was immediately concerned about compatibility problems and suggested that Phil release information on the SQUASHING algorithm. If memory serves me correctly Phil posted a message on the board that describes the SQUASHING technique and algorithm. I will contact Loren here in Fargo to find out if the information is still available. If it is I will pick it up off the board and post it to the NET. As always, G.W. Wettstein NU013809@NDSUVM1
