We're struggling with figuring out the best way to mix thin and thick
ethernet cables and networks. Can anyone help with some info. In particular:

	- what's the best way (in terms of cost, reliability, meeting specs)
to connect a thin lan network segment to a thick cable network
	  segement to create one network?

	- we've heard of a simple adapter from thick to thin and of
several larger converters that do the same thing for a lot more
money. Is the simple adapter reliable? What do I get extra
with the larger, more expensive converters?

	- What problems are we likely to run into if we mix thin and
	  thick cables?

Please reply by mail. If there is interest I'll sumarize.
