I am involved with developing a general purpose device for troubleshooting
products that use microprocessors. This device can be controlled by attaching
a terminal (or PC acting like a terminal). When connected to a PC this device
can upload the ROM contents of the system it is attached to into a disk file.
I would then like to be able to dis-assemble the uploaded ROM contents.

I am looking for dis-assemblers that run on the IBM PC for both 8 and 16 bit
processors. I also would prefer to get all the dis-assemblers from one
source. This is dis-assembler is something I would like to be able to either
bundle with the product, or to sell along with the product. I really do not
want to get into the business of writing (and supporting) dis-assemblers, so I
want to stay away from both public domain software and shareware.

Does anyone have any experience? A pointer to a company or companies will be
most appreciated!

Thanks,
