There were several articles in this group a couple of months ago about
using extended memory cards for the ram-disc.  Since then I have not
heard much about it.  As I recall, the device being used was the
"JRAM2-3". 

We have on our IBM/PC XT, an American Computer & Peripherals above
function card - fitted with 2Mb - which we wish to use as a ram-disc. 
Once this has been achieved, one of our masters degree students will -
as a summer project - attempt to add swapping to the memory management. 

Our first problem, is information on the above function card.  As most
of these cards operate in a similar way can anyone who has looked at
driving one of these devices for a ram-disc please contact me by e-mail
with any info'.
