I've just completed the design for a Cray-1 emulator on a single chip. Why, just last night I was in my darkroom carving up the first batch of silicon with an X-acto knife. The chip is a 1024 pin ceramic dip package that measues 6" x 2.5" Required power for the chip is slightly non-standard: 450 Volts 3 phase, 200 Amps., but you should be able to whip something up real quick. The chip will sell for $34.99. The installation kit (required) is a modest $350,000. This includes the Heathkit LSI-11/04 front end processor (or optional Timex/Sinclair) If you believe that one, I've got some nice copy protected software I'd like to sell you. :-) :-) -- Kevin McBride |Disclaimer: These | harvard -\ Eikonix - A Kodak Co. | opinions are mine, | ll-xn ---adelie-----> munsell!klm 23 Crosby Dr. | not my employer's, | decvax -v talcott -v | Bedford, MA 01730 | So There! | allegra ------------encore
