I would like to look into somebody else's type ahead buffer. I know that this
can be done using analyze/system, but I would like to get it into a program,
because analyze/system is a bit clumsy for this purpose. Since these pages
containing the data belong to the process' private address space, I assume
that I will have to send the process in question an AST, which copies the
data into a buffer of mine. Since this buffer must be accessible also to me
I think that it must come from nonpaged pool. Am I correct so far ? Now my
question is this: Has anybody written already code that performs this task
or HAS ANYBODY SAMPLE CODE THAT DEMONSTRATES THE USE OF NONPAGED POOL
(allocating/deallocating) AND THE AST ?

PLEASE DIRECT ALL ANSWERS TO ME DIRECTLY, BECAUSE I DO NOT READ INFO-VAX.
