THIS IS NOT VAPORWARE. I have seen and used the 4-Meg upgrade. It is not a kludge or a hobbyist's nightmare, but rather nicely designed daughterboard fitting above the existing memory. By the way, that is the installed price. The moral here is NOT the superiority of one machine over the other. It is the value of your local supplier/repairer. I originally chose the ST over the Amiga, which was the correct choice for me BECAUSE OF THE DEALER. I don't know of a friendly, innovative, discount dealer of Amiga/Amiga software in my area.
