Austin, Tx Lines: 18 Keywords: EGA memory My EGA has 256K bytes on it of which I probably only use a fraction for my monochrome display. I wonder if it is possible to use some of the memory on the EGA card to store data while I am not using any of the graphics modes. Does anyone know if this is possible? How does the EGA memory map into the PC memory map? Is it bank switched? I know some of it maps to where the display memory on the EGA's predicessor cards goes, but all 256K? Any help would by muchly appreceated. Thank you. -- ============================================================================= Motorola Semiconductors Tom Spohrer Austin, Texas {seismo,gatech,ihnp4}!ut-sally!oakhill!toms
