I am working in a project which tries to combine the advantages of rapid
prototying with the advantages of the traditionel software development
process. For this purpose I would like to use smalltalk-80 to
build prototypes (e.g. for modules). So one aim of the project is to
design a configurator which takes prototypes, written in smalltalk,
and hardcoded modules and makes these components executable.

In order to do this I see the problem to build a "bridge" from the
smalltalk
system to modula or Ada.

Does anyone know about any work done to connect smalltalk with
other languages ( C, modula etc.)
If anyone has a solution to the problem or some hints where to
look I would be grateful.
