Lines: 13 Keywords: sendmail domain names help Can someone please tell me how to configure sendmail (running on a 4.2 BSD system) to properly handle domain names? By domain names I mean path names like ucbvax.Berkeley.edu, as well as similar types of names. A lot of sites are using that syntax now (especially in replying to usenet articles, and I haven't been ablt to configure our mailer to handler it. I imagine that you would want to effectively just strip off the suffices (ie. ucbvax.Berkeley.edu would become just ucbvax). If anyone could tell me how to do this, I'd be very appreciative.
