It's been a long time since I've looked at the ULANA spec, but the
SNAP you're intersted in may be the "SubNetwork Access Protocol" that
is used to encapsulate IP/ARP on IEEE 802 LANS.  Snap is used on the
IBM Token Ring in the IBM implementation of PC/IP.

See RFC-990 "Assigned Numbers", page 36, section on IEEE numbers of
interest for a spec.  There may also be an RFC on SNAP itself and/or
a later issue of "Assigned Numbers".
