I walked into a software store yesterday and noticed that Flight
Simulator version 1.1 was available and that it supported monochrome
systems. I was surprised that someone hadn't mentioned this on the
net since people were asking about monochrome versions 6 months or so ago.

Compared to somewhat older versions for the PC I've seen, this version
includes a Lear Jet scenario, and has displays that can be sized (the
instrument panel can be slid down off screen allowing larger displays).
Also, you can view your plane from 4 perspectives: cockpit, spot (as a
plane near you would see you), tower, and track. I liked the display which
uses patterns for shading.

I can definitely recommend this program.
