(Add one more to the list of readers of comp.lang.forth).


 In _Electronics_ magazine, dated May 28, 1987, there is an
 artical which describes a major project at Harris Corp.
 to develop a set of real-time microporcessors and support
 chips using RISC and Forth.  Harris has licensed the Novix
 Forth chip architecture for the project.  Eventually, Harris
 will sell both standard chips and semi-custom devices.
 They call it their Force Toolbox (Force stands for Forth-
 optimized RISC computing engine).

 The article also mentions that the Novix Forth chip uses less
 that 16,000 transistors, which is at least a factor of 10
 below comparable standard microprocessors, if I remember
 correctly :-).
