I seem to remember a few months ago that someone was asking about writing X support for the Wyse 700 monitor/graphics card which had the strange attribute of storing even and odd scan lines at different address blocks a la the IBM CGA. Did anything ever come of this? I'd love to know-- I'm trying to decide which hires monitor to purchase for porting X to Xenix 386 on an AT-style machine. Also, I'd love to receive any comments on other IBM-PC 'desktop publishing' monitor/controller combinations as far as programming ease and reliability goes (however, I suspect we're in uncharted territory here...) -- Steve Dyer dyer@harvard.harvard.edu dyer@spdcc.COM aka {ihnp4,harvard,linus,ima,bbn,m2c}!spdcc!dyer
