We are trying to use the Macintosh to collect responses from subjects
in psychology experiments. We are interested in measuring the speed
of these responses with millisecond accuracy. I know that there was
an article published in a journal that described using the VIA chip
timer 1 for this purpose, but it was to be called from BASIC and we
can't get it to work from C. I have 2 questions:

1. Where can we get a copy of Synertek's documentation for the 6522
chip?

2. Has anybody already written a C-callable (MPW C) msec accurate timer
routing? If so, how can we get the code?

Thanks for your assistance.
