After looking at the Turbo BASIC disk for the 800, I see that it is a boot disk, which means that you will not be able to just copy the DOS.SYS file to it and have anything much good happen -- I think. Assuming I am right about this, I'll have to either duplicate the disk and mail it out, or else hurry up and write the "sector uuencode/decode" that I have been threatening to do. For now, anyone needing Turbo BASIC for the 800 should please send me your U.S. Mail address. I have no idea how many requests I will get, so if you want yours to be answered quickly, you can make me feel guilty enough to get to it sooner by mailing me a disk and stamped return mailer. Otherwise just send your address and I will still try to get you a disk in finite time. Please indicate if you will be disseminating the disk to many others and I will try to expedite getting it to you. -John Sangster / jhs@mitre-bedford.arpa
