I do repair work for Bradley University, and occasionally I work on Macs. Recently, we had the mouse on a 512 Mac (not enhanced) burn up one of the infra-red photodiodes in it. When we called the local dealer for a replacement diode, they said, "No way bud, you have to send the whole thing back." That's about $60.00 for a photodiode. To compound the problem, there weren't any identification numbers on the part. Anybody know where to get one of these little buggers ? Remember, email responses please, and thanks in advance.
