We're using an Omnilaser 2108 by TI, attached via 9600 baud RS-232 to an
IBM clone, and running TEX files to it via DVIPS and SPR.  When a document
is sent before the previous one finishes, the printer will sometimes 'lose'
the end of the first job, and lose the downloaded font set, too.  The TI
is being operated in Postscript Batch mode.
