Given the tendency of people to daemonize programs on the Amiga (I know I do:
I often want to keep an extra CLI or utility around while I'm compiling),
there's another reason to keep them small: conserve RAM space. You're more
likely to be able to keep a 5K program around while compiling than a 50K
one.
