Summary: I goofed -- A/UX does not include V.3 enhancements

In my best Steve Martin impression, "I was WRONG!" A/UX does not include any
enhancements from System V.3. When I said this, I was thinking about System
V streams, but it turns out that A/UX streams are based on V.2.1, not V.3.
The difference may seem insignificant, but there are some nasty licensing
issues. Oops. I'm told that streams from V.2.1 are a functional subset of
streams from V.3 and contain nearly all of the functionality of V.3 streams.
Obviously, I have had nothing to do with that end of A/UX. My efforts have
been concentrated on the A/UX Toolbox.
