1 bit	singlet
2 bits	doublet	tayste	quarter
3 bits	triplet octal-digit
4 bits	quadlet nybble
6 bits	sexlet
8 bits	octlet	octet	byte
9 bits  nonlet
16 bits	hexlet
	(actually deca-hexlet, but called hexlet for the same reasons base 16 is hex)
32 bits	triclet
