Message-ID: <429@pluto.UUCP> Date: Fri, 24-Jul-87 11:56:25 EDT Article-I.D.: pluto.429 Posted: Fri Jul 24 11:56:25 1987 Date-Received: Sat, 25-Jul-87 18:17:10 EDT Organization: Industrial Automation Systems - New York, NY Lines: 14 Keywords: Panasonic KX1080 foreign current I am hoping to take a Mac SE to Israel to help with the writing of a book I am working on. I despaired of taking a printer since my trusty old battleaxe, an Imagewriter I, is large, heavy and otherwise unwieldy. The Imagewriter 2 in addition to being all these things, is not able to be run on 50 HZ type currents. Soooo, the question is, is the Panasonic KX 1080 printer that has been discussed here able to be run at 50 HZ, in addition to running at 60 Hz ? Is the printer compatible with the Mac SE ? Is the printer lighter and/or smaller than an Imagewriter--that is, are we talking about a printer that is very similar or is it closer say, to a small Epson printer or something? Finally, where can I get to see one in NY City? Thanks very much in advance to all. _______________ David Cohen coming to you from the planet Pluto.UUCP....
