Any pros/cons that I should consider? > I'm not sure what *hybrid arts* smptetrack sequencing is - HOWEVER - I've been using the Dr. T's Keyboard (MIDI) Sequencer Software on an Atari 520 ST. It's powerful, very fast, and evidently the best bang for the buck package around, ($540 for the Atari and monoichrome monitor, $140 for the software). A recent letter from the Dr. T people announces a new smpte software release, it smpte is what you need. Fill me in: What does a smpte sequencer do that a midi sequencer can't? I thought that smpte was a protocol used to synch music or whatever to film and video. Is there such a thing as a smpte sequencer? . . . . Anybody else out there in netland using the Dr. T's software on the Atari? I would appreciate contact: The thing is so damned complex I haven't deciphered all the documentation yet. Just another bone-headed guitar player I guess (just kidding guys). Mark D. ihnp4!mtuxo!lzfme!marco
