You can use the LOCAL mode to do that. I have ran into a situtation once
that the number I need to "auto-dial" was too long (because of security
codes to get a trunk line).

Don't think you can do that easily. Maybe via a SCRIPT file? I'm not sure
and don't have the manual handy.
