I have a slight problem.

The wilderness of my desk is no place for a tame, god-fearing mouse.

I would like to know if there are any commercially available trek balls
available which will function as the mouse (two discrete buttons, etcetera).

Does Atari make such a beast? (If not, they should!) If not, are there any
third party products in this line? I already know the trek ball that works
with the 800 is entirely unsatisfactory (loose controls, among other things).

If there are none made, does anyone have any experience with wiring up one?
I'm thinking of asking my employer (the FAA) where they get the Trek balls
that go with the radar scopes if nothing else works out. Nice tight action
and two discrete buttons, so I know they're made somewhere.
