The listing can be found in 101 BASIC Games by David H. Ahl. There also may be a version on one of the Apple DOS distributions, although I haven't found it yet. Please, no more lectures on why Animal should not be called a rule-based or expert system. I'm aware that it is a simple tree traversal algorithm. Merely a misnomer on my part.
