That is the case with many TeleVideo terminals. The symptoms you have observed result from this. The fix: use my recently posted 'standout' patches. If you missed them, send me mail and I'll mail them to you. With the patches installed, not only will MicroEMACS work on embedded attribute terminals, but it will work better on ALL terminals (it also has a bug, whereby it sets the cursor position after each keystroke even when this is not necessary). -- George M.
