Dyer Computer Consulting, Cambridge MA Lines: 16 Keywords: color 640x350 mode I've never really understood how to get beneath the BIOS to program the EGA board in 640x350 APA color mode. I never had any trouble when it was hooked up to a monochrome monitor in 640x350 APA mono mode--I just wrote to the display addresses and everything worked. This approach seems to fail when using an enhanced color display. Can anyone tell me the sequence of operations I must perform if I want to write a bitmap in color APA mode (though you can assume, for simplicity's sake that I'm only interested in 'monochrome' emulation.) I have the Options and Adapters manual as well as the Seminar Proceedings, but both are pretty obtuse.
