I have a number of tapes which were written on a Univac 1100 Series
machine running EXEC-8. These tapes are not labelled. I have managed
to convert them from 9 track format (which I do not regularly have
access to from Unix) to 1/4" QIC. What I would like is a program which
can help me manipulate and decode these files. If I can not locate
one, I will write it myself but converting from FIELDATA (6 bit
character codes) will not be a lot of fun.
