That must be the most common question printed about Appleworks. Seems Apple doesn't want to recognize that everyone doesn't have an Imagewriter (gosh guys, didn't everyone buy Appleworks and an Imagewriter when they got their Apple //e, //c, or //gs? You don't suppose some of those Apple owners were smart enough to figure out they could get a better deal on a printer somewhere else?) The secret: initialize the printer with ^I0N (that's control-I, zero, capital 'N'), which will turn off the auto carriage return linefeed from the periheral card and let Appleworks control the page formatting by itsuchbs
