I was looking at ICMP packets on our network this morning and noticed
that we're getting LOTS (about 1 every 5 seconds!) of "time exceeded"
ICMP messages from ai-gw.ai.mit.edu (128.52.22.8) destined to icsd.uci.edu
(192.5.19.4). The strange thing about this is that we don't have any
connections with any place at MIT! I check icsd for current connections
and find there are only 4 and that all 4 are to other machines on our local
network!

Maybe this has something to do with the fact that the whole Internet seems
to be terribly bogged down these days? Does anyone have an explanation?
