The poster noted that the header clearly labeled the game as a
'shoot-em-up' so he wisely did not uudecode, decompress, download, etc. a
game that he knew would be offensive to him.

Frankly, I find Charlie Brown offensive.  :-)

Isn't there someplace else to discuss these kinds of things, like
net.policies or something?
