DOS always prompts for date and time unless you have an autoexec.bat file in the root directory of your boot disk. If you can't think of anything to put in the autoexec.bat file, try putting the command: prompt $p $g You'll find this command very useful if you intend to use subdirectories with your hard disk. For more info on the prompt command, consult your DOS manual.
