Two that come to mind right away are Textcraft from C-A and MemoPad on the Gizmoz Productivity set. It's such a sensible idea that I'm sure there are a bunch of others around too. (Sorry if I didn't mention yours by name.) Speaking of Memopad reminds me of the recent discussion of the clipboard.device on the net. Memopad is one example of a progam that uses the clipboard. When you select text with the mouse, then delete it, the text goes to the clipboard. This allows to to cut-n-past across different documents if you are running more than one copy of MemoPad at once. The only disadvantage is that Memopad is [apparently] not reentrant, thus the resident command is out. Since Memopad requires 55K, you're somewhat limited to the number of documents you can be browsing at one time. By the way, make sure that the boot disk has the clipboard.device in the devs directory or else you'll be visited by Guru #4 as MemoPad doen't try to see if the clipboard.device is really there before it merrily goes off to use it. --Bill Bill Mayhew Division of Basic Medical Sciences Northeastern Ohio Universisties' College of Medicine Rootstown, OH 44272 USA phone: 216-325-2511 (wtm@neoucom.UUCP ...!cbatt!neoucom!wtm)
