Colbert's `Evolution of the Vertebrates', 3rd ed., (John Wiley & Sons), 1980. The ramifications of such a find are enormous. But like every- thing else that tends to contradict "orthodox" evolutionary theory (and perceived bio-history and chronology), they are typically minimized, if not ignored.
