One solution is the Mac Inker from Computer Friends in Portland OR. Phone (503) 297-2321. This beast is around $80 and re-inks cartridge ribbons. It requires a customizing set for each type of cartridge inked. It does a fine job, although if you are sloppy like me you may get a little ink on a finger or two. I have re-inked a cartridge and run 5000 sheets past it over the past year - it still looks great, and I'm still using my first bottle of ink (It looks better than the manufacturers, by the way). -- Keith Lofstrom MS 59-316, Tektronix, PO 500, Beaverton OR 97077 (503)-627-4052
