RE: REPOSTINGS

Many local Atari fans without access to Usenet would like to see a
selection of the postings here. My inquiries have not discovered any claim on
these Usenet postings outside the implicit rights of the contributor. Some
Usenet contributors have added notices like: "not for circulation outside
Usenet"; of course any such wishes would be respected. Does anyone have any
comments about selective reposting to a local Atari club BBS?

RE:TURBOBASIC

TURBOBASIC XL is quite a nifty item. It's clearly a "professional"
product. The fact it has been placed in the public domain indicates there are
clever people out there with a real love for the machine.

Apparently there is also a compiler and runtime package also in the public
domain, that is fully compatible with all features of the language; therefore
it will also compile any ATARI basic program too. Anybody got any reviews of
the compiler? Better yet, can anyone post it to the net?
