Dept., Univ. of Notre Dame, Notre Dame, IN Lines: 12 I am having a strange problem with a terminal program I am writing...I recently tried to put in a switch to allow the user to change from the modem port to the printer port. When the user changes I first do a RAMSDCLOSE on the modem port...then a RAMSDOPEN on the printer port. Neither of these operations generate an error, but when I try to do anything with the printer port (write to it, set buffer size..etc) I get a "device not open" error code back. If I switch back to the modem port everything works fine again. Any suggestions as to what might be causing the problem?? Greg Corson seismo!iuvax!kangaro!milo
