Any help would be >greatly appreciated. I just tried this on Kermit 2.29 using the standard method for reprogramming keys (set key scan XX, etc...) and it didn't work. I suspect that it is be- cause Kermit is reading the scan codes directly and converting them to ASCII or whatever. if this is the case, then the only way to break is to physically type ^]. Any other key combination(s) will be sent directly to the serial port using whatever other mapping you have programmed in. That's one reason why you have to press ^] twice to send it to the host. The first key press is grabbed by Kermit as the escape character and doesn't get transmitted.
