Message-ID: <2091@felix.UUCP> Date: Tue, 30-Dec-86 23:46:20 EST Article-I.D.: felix.2091 Posted: Tue Dec 30 23:46:20 1986 Date-Received: Tue, 13-Jan-87 05:03:06 EST Sender: root@felix.UUCP Reply-To: jim@felix.UUCP (Jim Gilbert) Distribution: world Organization: FileNet Corp., Costa Mesa, Ca. Lines: 24 I would greatly appreciate some kind soul informing me where I may find documentation or usage instructions on the LINKER I found on my PRODOS Assembly Tools disk, recently purchased through A.P.D.A. The documentation accompanying the disk explains the editor, assembler, debugger, and BASIC-activated relocating loader facilities well. It alludes to the potential existence of a linker, but says that such is not currently available from Apple. What is the .SYS file named linker doing on my disk then? When I exit to it it complains about a missing command file path name or somesuch. I realize that learning more about ED/ASM PRODOS tools for pre-GS ]['s may seem old hat; still I'm interested in learning about this program's use. (I feel fairly comfortable with most static and dynamic linkers I have met in the past.) Please mail statements of interest in answers or answers to me. I will either reply directly or summarize and post to net if interest is great enough. Thank you kindly. Jim Gilbert ...ihnp4!hplabs!felix!jim
