   This is still speculative.  If I run KERMIT-32 (the .MAR version)
from a DECserver-200 port, and try to connect to an outbound port (non-
server), I get
        "%KERMIT32-E-RETRIES, Too many retries"
   If I use a non-server port, it works!
   I suspect the assembler code fails for lat console devices.  Any one
else seen this one?
