I'm interested in hearing from anyone who has given some serious thought
to implementing "User exception handling" (as per Bob Campbell's message
of 12/11/86) in Modula-2. Return codes really make me C-sick; I'd much
rather write less-than-portable code in Modula-2 than pollute my
normal-case code with a ridiculous number of IF statements [how would
you like your conscious mind cluttered with paranoid thoughts like,
"Have I been hit by a 747?" every time you cross the street?].

Implementation details would be nice, but I'm mostly interested in a
"sanity check" regarding my own thoughts on its ease of implementation
in Modula-2 as opposed to C.

		Thanks,
