Thank you all for your replies -- the answer is a resounding YES.
It's nice to know that postings really do get out there and read...

I started to thank each of you individually, but I've received so many
answers that I thought I would post (also so other folks reading the
net would hear the answer).  Several folks mentioned Uniform and Media
Master as programs that they have used to move files between CP/M and
MSDOS;  I have myself have used XenoCopy (but I haven't tried WordStar
files yet).  One person mentioned to watch out for ^Z at the end of
the file; search for end of file in WordStar will not behave if the ^Z
is not there.
