We are running bsd4.2 on a VAX 11/750 with 'rn' as our newsreader program.
Although we have other unix machines connected to the 750 via ethernet,
currently users can only read news when logged onto the 750. Does anyone
have mods to allow a person on a different unix machine to also run rn.
That is, doing a sort of remote 'rn' without setting up an actual news
feed between machines and duplicating all the news files. I have heard
that bsd4.3 has a new version of 'rn' that lets you do this, but we wont
be getting it for a while, and someone else out there must have done this
already (I hope). Thanks in advance for any hints, etc.
