I learned APL from the book by Gillman and Rose. It's been several years
since I last picked up the book so I don't remember the exact title. It's
is something simple, like ``APL for Beginners.''

It's a large, orange, soft cover book. If I remember correctly, it had
problems after each chapter, with solutions at the end of the book.

I recommend the book highly.
