Message-ID: <8612070440.AA08189@ucbvax.Berkeley.EDU> Date: Thu, 4-Dec-86 14:49:00 EST Article-I.D.: ucbvax.8612070440.AA08189 Posted: Thu Dec 4 14:49:00 1986 Date-Received: Sun, 7-Dec-86 04:52:15 EST Sender: daemon@ucbvax.BERKELEY.EDU Organization: The ARPA Internet Lines: 20 Approved: info-vax@sri-kl.arpa Since yesterday I get all my info-vax mail four times: 1) from info-vax@sri-kl.arpa directly 2) via info-vax@irlearn (I subscribed to this list to test BITNET mailer capability for the expected cut off of BITNET addresses from info-vax@sri-kl.) 3) via info-vax@uga 4) via info-vax@irlearn from info-vax@uga I think the activities off all those people involved should become a little bit more synchronized (I received no notification of being entered at info-vax @uga). I accept the existence of more then one LISTSERV, but then they should be linked together as peers (as described in the LISTSERV manual). Furthermore one should think of removing the mailing address from the arpa info-vax, now being obsolete due to info-vax@uga services for bitnet sites. Christoph D.
