I'm looking for a decent mail User Agent for my more-or-less-V7-flavored
system. I've finally gotten fed up with /bin/mail, after I discovered
a bug that makes it drop incoming mail on the floor.

My system is UUCP-only, with smail but not sendmail. Short identifiers.
Two possible candidates:

Mail	Tried it once. Requires truncate(2), which my system
lacks. Also not happy without sendmail.

elm Good reputation, but long identifiers. Written for
BSD, so might take tweaking for V7.

mh Huge -- I'd like to hear rave reviews before uucp-ing it.
Looks like it'd run without fuss under V7.

Any suggestions? Reviews on mh (positive or negative) especially welcome.
Has anyone gotten mh to work with smail?

Please mail replies; I'll post a summary if there's any interest.
