Ok, here goes...

The Star Delta 10, I am told, is the equivalent of the Commodore
MBS10000 specified in preferences. So I pick that, set graphic select
to black&white, run deluxe paint with 'lo 1', and put some text on
the screen in emerald-20. ('This is a text' repeated three times).
Then i print it. Some of the 'T's (on the same line!) have different
thickness crossbars (the horizontal piece at the top). In other
words some T's have a crossbar one line high and some have two.
Some 'e's have the hole filled in, some do not. I can try this
with any font, any letters; they come out different in
different places, even when they are on the same line. I am
going to try this with a JX-80 and see what happens but suspect
i will see the same thing. I am also going to try an imagewriter
(if there is a driver handy- cannot remember if one is supplied with 1.1).
Hints anybody? I am really floored.

By the way i have heard a lot of complaints about (1) black lines
in the monitor, or (2) flicker. People seem to think the tiny Mac screen
is soo much better. sheesh.

'Tis the season to be thankful for good things. I think Carolyn
Scheppner, Andy Finkel (to name two that come right to mind) and the
rest of the crew at C-A deserve our thanks. They have been responsive
and helpful for as long as I have been reading these bboards and I
have put their suggestions and sample code to good use.
	=> Thanks <=
