As we considering to switch from TCP/IP to K-TALK on SUN 3 machines we
would like to know if somebody knows of file-transfer facilities using
K-TALK instead of TCP/IP. It seems as if the K-TERM from Kinetics doesn't
support file-transfer and we have need to be to send Macintosh-generated
postscript-files to our SUN-hosts as they are connected to the LaserWriter
(a QMS).

The ideal solution would be to program a LaserWriter-server on the SUN's
and let them perform the spooling.
Therefore: where should I look to find information on precisely how the
the LaserWriter communicates with a Macintosh, in the "Inside LaserWriter"?.
(that is: where is "AppleTalk Printer Access Protocol" documented ?)

But still it would be nice to be able to transfer other types of files.

Please mail me any pointers or ideas.
