What I want is the option to NOT try to force them to become square. I want to print AS IF the printer WAS square even if it's not, and then take the hit in the aspect ratio. Much of the time text can survive a little aspect-raito squeezing, and I can pick and choose fonts to make it better. As long as I DON'T have the option to do a 1 to 1 (pixel, not aspect-ratio) dump, I may not be able to get usable text at all!
