Keywords: Helps out after San Juan hotel fire/bomb

Hi,

I was just watching the NBC nightly news (yep, I know it
should have been McNiel Lehrer) and they were running an article
about the aftermath of the San Juan fire and/or bombing at the
Dupont Plaza Hotel. The reporter quiped something about a computer
system being brought in specially to help keep track of the
survivors/nonsurvivors. I glanced up from dinner to see what it
was figuring it would probably be something from Big Blue. Much to
my surpirse, it was two Amigas. It must have been on the screen
for at least two whole seconds, so I haven't got the slightest idea
about what database software or whatever was in use.

Finally, it looks like somebody figured out a little
something about public relations. Or, maybe, heh-heh, the Amiga
just happens to be a superior machine for the job.

Speaking of Amigas on TV, does anybody know what the one in
the police office on Miami Vice is supposed to be used for. I've
noticed it sitting there several times switched on with some
innocuous looking screen up, but so far none of the characters have
done anything with it (while I was watching). Also, is it my
imagination, or did they paint that poor Amiga pink?
