According to the (older) nmake documentation I have, nmake works best with ksh but can work with the Bourne shell. Which is true? Does the Toolchest describe a later version? [Personal editorial comment: if nmake needs ksh, unless there's a REALLY good reason, I'm gonna be pissed. I can justify $1,200 dollars for a great new make. I don't think I can justify $3,000 for another shell.] Please mail replies to me, if you can get through. ------------------ Tim McDaniel; CSRD at the Silicon Prairie (Center for Supercomputing Research and Development at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign) UUCP: {ihnp4,seismo,pur-ee,convex}!uiucdcs!uicsrd!mcdaniel ARPANET: mcdaniel%uicsrd@a.cs.uiuc.edu CSNET: mcdaniel%uicsrd@uiuc.csnet BITNET: mcdaniel@uicsrd.csrd.uiuc.edu
