In the furor over the voice-to-violin issue, IED
neglected to respond to Neil Calton's latest posting,
which again is appreciated here, especially news about
Kate's appearances on television.
We are familiar with the Terry Wogan show over here,
because Kate's lip-synch of "Running Up That Hill"
on that program was the version which MTV chose to
air here last year.

Now, if IED could just find a UK Kate fan who's
been recording her recent TV appearances, and
who's ready to do some trading...

News update:

Kate's LP The Whole Story entered the Billboard album
charts in the December 20th issue at No.158. In the latest
issue (December 27th), it has risen thirty-nine places
to No. 119. In Cashbox (Dec. 20th) it entered at No. 110,
and has now risen (Dec. 27th) to No. 90.
In the Sunset Blvd. branch of Tower Records, the LP is the
eighth bestselling album in the store this week.
