Wonder if complaining here does any good (although I'm interested in your complaints too). I bought flight simulator when I saw it at the Toronto World of Commodore show. Since I don't fly, I can't comment on the realities of the thing, but I enjoy it from time to time. I notice that the engine sounds and speeds are a little more discrete than I would have thought realistic. That is, as you start to climb, the engine doesn't slow down gradually, but rather, in discrete chunks. Also, as someone pointed out earlier here on the net, the geography database is far from complete. I had just come back from San Francisco area (and hiking in Yosemite) when I got the program, so I thought I'd fly over to the Sierras for a laugh. Well, the supplied maps aren't good enough, so I got out my maps for the area. I'm not sure what happened, but I think I fell off the edge of their database. At least, it seemed to differ greatly from reality. Perhaps I just hit a spot of bad weather. My recollection is unclear - after all, it was 3AM several weeks ago. I probably shouldn't be flying at 3AM anyways - not even a simulator! :-) Someone told me that you should be able to fly under the golden gate bridge. I always chicken out and go over it instead! I didn't buy my Amiga for games, and I have only 2 games other than the public domain stuff on the fish disks (which I almost never play). They are Flight Simulator and Chessmaster2000. Both have their problems, but they're both fun. Incidentally, my copy is called 'Flight Simulator II'. It's program number AM-FS2. And it has an ISBN number! 1-55602-018-X. Is this the copy you have? Keep us up to date when the updates will be available. Michael
