Both my friend Grot and I have ordered Avatex 1200 modems from Black
Patch systems... Black patch told Grot that it would take 1 and 1/2
weeks to arrive. It arrived in exactly 1.5 weeks. When I called,
a month or so later, they said it was back-ordered and would take
two and 1/2 weeks. It arrived exactly 2.5 weeks later.
Based on what I have read in this list, I would tread lightly when
dealing with black patch. How can so many people have been screwed
over on the same list? Coincidence? Maybe, but I am entirely satisfied
with their prices and service. I'd still think twice before ordering,
though...
