I got as far as to understand the file structure of the font files. When I tried to make sense out of the bit pattern I failed. I graphically displayed the bit-strings with variable width. Nothing looked like a charcter pattern. Is there anyone around who can help me to understand the way characters are stored? Juergen Knobloch CERN/EP CH-1211 Geneva SWITZERLAND
