Summary: of should I try porting it myself?

As a Mac enthousiastic and believer in the success and usability of C++,
I would like to write my next big project in C++, but not lose the
possibility of porting it to the Mac. So, I need a port of C++ to the
Mac (where I believe that MPW is the only serious candidate for a C
compiler for big projects). Does anybody know if there are already
people doing this port, or do I have to do it myself?

If I do the port myself, would anybody else be interested in getting it,
for a moderate price? (What would a moderate price be?)

Please reply by mail. I'll summarize any interesting replies I get.
