The problem of digestibility arises due to lactase intolerance in the majority of the human race. With the exception of groups originating in northern Europe (+ misc. others) humans cannot digest raw milk products after they become 2-3 years of age. The results are severe digestive disorders. While milk contains fats and cholesterols, both are essential for maintenance of good health and growth of all mammals. -- Name: Don Jackson Mail: Dept. Zoology, Univ.
