I've seen it on the //e.  It takes a long time to load because of the
bank switching it is faster than Appleworks and have the power of the
mouse interface.  The company that makes it says that the 16 bit version
for the //gs is 5 times faster than the //e version.  The //e version
uses 6502 code bank switched (it requires 256K that's why you see Applied
Engineering ads for it, they sell ram cards) whereas the //gs version 
uses 16 bit 65816 code, plus the //gs runs 2.5 times faster than the
//e in terms of the clock rate.  It is supposedly completely Lotus 123
version 1A compatible (not a very good standard but a de facto standard
nontheless).
