The demo version of Shanghai, recently posted to the net, does the
unfriendly thing of rebooting your machine when it exits.

I fixed my copy by patching the word 0xA017 to 0xA9F4. This turns the _Eject
system call into _ExitToShell. So far it has not messed up my hard disk.
(Many games leave the file manager in a bad state when they exit. After
such games it is best to reboot anyway.)

Naturally, I can make no guarantees that this fix will work for you.
