     I remember reading some time ago about a TextEdit bug...um, feature that
sometimes shifts a TextEdit item (in a dialog, for instance) up by a pixel
when you change it.
     I looked through the tech notes and didn't find anything.  Can anybody
provide specifics on what the prerequisite conditions are and what programmers
can do to prevent this from happening?
