We would love to have a record of his session without his knowledge. (set host 0 is no good he is too smart) There are at least two programs I know of which lets a privileged user monitor/advise another user's session. One is from CLYDE called CONTROL. (I don't have their address), another is from Precision Business Systems called ADVISOR/OBSERVER/PHOTO. I have Advisor. This program lets you "adviser" another terminal, whether anyone is logged in there or not. Therefore you can actually log into the terminal yourself and have multiple sessions going. You have monitor the terminal quietly, i.e. observe only, or you can actually type into the terminal as if the user was typing... all this can be recorded for later playback using PHOTO. This program does not require any special driver to be loaded in sysgen. Only privilege is needed. Precision Business Systems is at 33 Rector Street, NY. NY. 10006 (212)425-0200 Each of the program is about $500. -------- portia bjorndahl hughes aircraft co. portia%engvax.uucp@usc-oberon.usc.edu
