I need (or do I merely want?) the patch for PC-DOS version 3.2 to turn echo off permanently in batch files. I don't want the words "echo off" to appear, no, not even for a minute. No, I don't want one of those clever kludges with escape sequences. I want the byte and the value I must change in COMMAND.COM. Those of you who know what I mean know what I mean. Thank you.
