According to an article in the most recent PC Week, a new graphics
board called the "EGA Wonder" (who names these things, anyway?)
from ATI Technologies, Inc. is "a universal video adapter that
allows the use of nearly any monitor with any video standard in
any display mode" and costs $399. The article mentions that the
card (which is short) fits in 8-bit busses and works in PCs and
XTs, plus some (but not all) compatibles. It's the "but not all"
I'm inquiring about here. Has anyone tried the thing (it's been
out since November, apparently) in a Zenith-158? If so, what
experiences did you have? I'll summarize e-mailed responses to
the net if appropriate.
