Any standard floppy can be driven with the trackdisk.device driver, you
don't need a special driver.  About all you have to do is connect it, and
edit your mountlist to reflect the number of tracks and sides, etc.  The
software protection issue is really a non-issue; a strange disk drive isn't
going to work any worse than a hard disk, and is actually capable of 
running some protected software if you really want to, though most of
the state of the art backup utilities remove protection on the Amiga.
