During my incarceration at Oregon State (76-82) I once rewrote 'ed' in FLECS for our Cyber as a class project. About 3000 lines of FLECS. The hardest part was to get the Cyber to enter 8-bit ASCII mode for terminal I/O. 6-bit character codes packed into 60-bit words - does CDC still do this?!? Pat Walsh Intel Corporation 503-640-7216
