I need to run Oracle on a VAX-11/780. Currently, Oracle
is running under VMS. We need to go to Unix. I would
prefer 4.xBSD. Problem:

Oracle Corp. sells their product for SysV, Sun
and Ultrix, but not straight BSD Unix.

Does anyone have Oracle running on a BSD VAX? Can anyone
out there tell me what's involved in getting this to work?
Can I get any of the supported versions of Oracle to run
under BSD Unix?

No flames about "use database X", please. My site is committed
to Oracle, so I don't have any choice here.

Reply via Email, please. I'll summarize if people want that.
Thanks,
