The half duplex linefeed options in AE Pro have nothing to do with the operation as was described. What would have to be done to have the sending AE Pro add linefeeds to outgoing c/r's is just turn chat (K) ON. To format the screen for incoming data when connected to software that does not send linefeeds, just turn emulation ($) off, and linefeeds will be supplied locally. Fyi. I missed the original article. --Bill Blue {akgua, hplabs!hp-sdd, sdcsvax, nosc}!crash!pnet01!bblue --- --Tak Ariga ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- UUCP: {utzoo, decvax, ihnp4, cbosgd, utcsri, mnetor}!utcs!utcdfc!cssu ARPAnet: cssu%cdfc.toronto.edu@csnet-relay.arpa CSnet: cssu%cdfc.toronto.edu@csnet-relay.csnet University of Toronto -- Toronto, Canada -----------------------------------------------------------------------------
