Why? some kind of text error arises which starts up the Apple Resource Manager, which has a bug. They also told me (today, phone support) to use the "Shortcuts" (key commands) in every possible case and to seriously avoid moving text around by click- and-drag mousing. When error 1332, 1328, 1326 et al. arise, they suggest NOT DELETING the offending text; but rather to try to click the mouse fifteen or twenty times until the error box clears(maybe) and if it does, drag the offending text off the pasteboard and just ignore it. They say also you may cut your text out, into scrapbook, then close your file and' open a new file and paste it in as a halfway fix (but your new pages will not be connected). I'm using P-Maker 1.2 on a 512K fat old mac, 400K internal, 800 external.
