WANTED: Information about and/or experiences with Kermit on Burroughs B68xx and
B79xx systems.

We have the 11/86 Kermit distribution tapes from Columbia U. and are looking
for someone who has implemented Kermit on a Burroughs mainframe. The documents
included on the tapes have little or no information regarding how the (Algol)
source is installed (and compiled?) and what equipment configurations (modems
and/or protocol converters) are usable or required.

We are particularly interested in general ascii text file transfer between
Kermit on a Burroughs mainframe and Kermit on an ATT 3B2, 3B5 or 3B15.

Any vendor's kermit compatible software would also be of interest.

All help would be greatly appreciated.
