Lines: 23 Keywords: Q7 Emitter Recently Richard Andrews answered how to hget chroma out on the 1200XL, however, as I asked him: Appreciated your answer. However, one slight problem -- not being an electronic engineer, I do know which is the emitter of Q7 on the 1200XL. Having a spare mother board in front of me, I see that: the left hand leg goes to C61 (? -- 1 is covered by component) the middle leg goes to R31 the right hand leg goes to R43 Question: which leg is the emitter? If anyone else on the net has the answer, please post it. I have previously posted similar answers, but have tried to keep the answers in terms that even I can understand -- then I figure anyone can do it. Since the circuit board has all components labelled, it is a fairly easy task to trace out each leg to see where it goes, but to determine whether it is the emitter or not (particularly - as I understand it - these transistors do not have a standard configuration). If I get an answer, I will post it, as Richard and I cannot be the only ones using 1200XL's! --Bill Dippert--
