Lines: 12 Keywords: Zinc I heard that a double blind study done showed that sucking on a 23 mg. zinc gluconate tablet, reduced the duration and severity of a cold. The tablet needed to be sucked (chewed) rather than swallowed. Zinc gluconate tastes terrible so you have to be really motivated.
