Regarding Saberhagen's "Swords" trilogy, I'd like to point out
that it takes place a long time (maybe 2k years?, I forgot)
after what happened in his "Empire of the East," which I highly
recommend.  It tells where Draffut (one of my favorite characters)
comes from.  It's also a very good book....
