I am currently considering a switch from UNIFY(*) to INFORMIX(**). However,
I have already invested a bit of time with data entry to the former. Is
there any compatibility in the way that the data is stored between the
two systems? Or is there a quick (or not so quick) editing fix I could
use? At this point I weigh the possibility of re-entering data as equal to
the future growth problems I am seeing with my current system.

Thanks for any replies--if there is interest, I'll summarize and post the
mail responses.
