I just saw the description of this thing in Byte and wondered
if anybody could provide some details.

It's called the 'Banker' by J&R Electronics, POB 2572, Columbia MD,
21045.  It plugs into the Sam socket and provides access to
256K of memory.  It sounds like it will work with OS-9 to provide
a full 256K work area.
