Which reminds me, (background info) this summer a local amusement park
had smurf characters everywhere (and blue everywhere, GAG). They also
had fireworks every night, so July 4th was to be really big. A local
baseball park ran a radio add to lure people away from the smurfs; it
started like this:

Q: What's Red, White and Blue and goes bang?

A: A smurf in a microwave.

Americans think 100 years is a long time.
