I too had a series of bad experiences with them -- no need to describe in detail, should be sufficient to summarize by saying they seemed to mean well but were way over their heads and I received many unfilled promises and much conflicting information. I eventually cancelled my (large) order. [I too was particularly disturbed by having my MasterCard charged as soon as I ordered when shipment was never in sight. One complaint led to a promise to credit the card until shipment, but they never did.] Anyway, on the other side of this game, I have had as good a series of experiences with Programs Plus (also of Stratford CT) as I had bad with Northeastern Software. Again, no need for the details, but every call was answered by a series of helpful people (in fact, after trying over and over again to get through to Northeastern, it was a pleasure just to get to talk to someone when I called Programs Plus), all confusions and failures were resolved promptly and adequately, and their prices are just about the lowest around (other than Northeastern's). They ship promptly, too. Use them! Mitchell L Model, Ph. D. "Support Services for the Artificial Intelligence Community"
