I also raced a 500 Interceptor one race of the midwest WERA series
and a 600 Ninja in an AMACCS race. Both handled great but the Honda
seemed a little faster even with giving up 100cc. As far as the Ninja
looking meaner, check out the redesigned Interceptor for next year.
It looks like the VF1000R, but unlike the R has 136 horsepower per
liter. Also if you are interested in racing it next year, Honda is
going to sponsor a 500 Interceptor only race series. This will be run in WERA
only (actually there are some others that I cant remember AAMRA, etc.)
and will be similar to Yamahas RZ challenge. They (Honda) sponsored
something like this in California AFM last year.
