We are not happy with the Cyber 205's performance.  After spending about
20 hours on the code for this one program, I managed to reduce the execu-
tion time by 25%.  The Cyber 205 was still 5 times slower than the unop-
timized code for the Cray 1 out on Lawrence Livermore.  This is so slow,
that we cannot use the Cyber for anything useful.  We do have some time
on the Cyber left this month, which I will burn up running an infinite
loop, or something like that.  I don't know if this has anything to do
with the Cyber having virtual memory.
