                SYSTEMS MANAGER FOR AI WORKSTATIONS

The Philosophy Department at Carnegie-Mellon University seeks to fill a
permanent staff position for a systems manager in the newly established
Laboratory for Computational Linguistics.  The salary for this position
will be in the range of $30K to $50K per year (supplemented by full
university benefits), and is subject to negotiation based on experience
and other qualifications.

The ideal candidate will have experience in

     *  AI workstation hardware maintenance
     *  graphics
     *  LISP
     *  AI software, and
     *  network maintenance;

and will demonstrate a serious commitment to solving the systems
coordination and management problems of the Laboratory and its many
interdisciplinary projects.
