San Diego, Academic Computer Center Lines: 11 There are three strings sitting outside a bar. The first string wants a drink. He goes in, and the bartender sees that he is a string and refuses to serve him because of this. The first string goes back out to his friends, but they don't want to give up yet. So the second string goes in the bar, asks for a drink, and gets the same response. He comes back out, and the third string decided to try a new approach: he ties himself into a knot, and pulls the tips of his string all apart. He walks in the bar and the frustrated bartender says: "Are you another string??!!" And the third string replies, "No, I'm afraid not."
