    Yes, it bombed at the box office.  I saw it in the short time it
played here in New York.  I liked it quite a bit, but looking back at
it, I realize that it had far more in the way of race scenes than in
the way of real dramatic content.  I don't know what it could have 
offered for someone who is not an avid fan of the sport.
