TIM, Tim, tim, if your going to quote me a, at least include
the whole story.  You left out the part about the island
being uninhabited before the navy started using it as a
target range.  There are MANY, MANY uninhabited islands
in the Caribbean.  The squatters to Vieques came later.
Most were fishermen, but some came to collect the metal
and debris to sell.  Your comparison with the Afghans
and Indians is once more mixing apples and oranges.
