[Kansas City wins World Series] Up yours, Roy! For three years in a row the best team resides in the so-called minor leagues. Myself, I thought that the Blue Jays were the best team, and I still do, but I've learned never to bet against George Brett. Minor League? Feh! The anemic hitting of the Cardinals could well have been predicted following a year of anemic hitting by the whole NL. Three or four AL teams would have handed the Cards a similar defeat. Speed? Bah! Pitching, defense and the three run homer for me. And you can read about it in the sports pages, not just the biased insinuation of the Usenet. Sorry Roy. Perhaps you can call up a few "minor leaguers". Daniel Schneider {decvax}!decwrl!dec-rhea!dec-2littl!schneider
