A friend of mine (not on the net) recently inherited a set of very old silverware. The set is not large, but rather contains many unusual pieces. She is interested in knowing how to use these utensiles and has had no luck in the cooking, etiquitte, entertaining and collectibles sections of several large bookstores. There are lots of books which identify maker's marks and/or pretend to give the value of silverware. That's not the point. What she wants is to discover the NAME and USE of each piece. If you know of any publication or source for such information, please email a response. Regards, Hewlett-Packard Bob Niland 3404 East Harmony Road [ihnp4|hplabs]!hpfcla!rjn Fort Collins CO 80525
