Our software engineering course currently uses PL/I as its primary language,
but I've finally persuaded the instructor that Modula-2 is a worthy
replacement. The only problem is that this course uses an Amdahl 5840, and
we don't know of any 370 compilers available for Modula-2.

What we're looking for is a 370 compiler/linker with a run-time environment
for which source is available (we'd have to port it from CMS or TSO or
whatever to our MTS environment). Either a public domain compiler or a
reasonably priced commercial product would be fine.

I would appreciate any leads which could result in us not having to inflict
PL/I on otherwise innocent people.
