Someone had a query on here recently about broadband antennas suitable for
scanner applications. I was just looking at a brochure I got from Butternut
Electronics recently (I was interested in their multi-band verticals) and I
noticed that they are advertising the "SC-3000" scanner antenna. Advertised
specs are: 1) 30-512 Mhz 2) omnidirectional 3) "Receive gain - UHF up to 7 dB,
VHF up to 3 dB, low band unity gain." Suggested list price was around $60.
