With apologies to those not in on the joke, and especially to
Time, Inc. for perpetuating an unworthy canard, the reference
was to a postulate in the last decade that appearing on the
cover of Time Magazine meant that a phenomenon had achieved
the ultimate in middle-class value, and was therefore shortly
to disappear from the "current" scene, never to be heard from
again.
I prob'ly shouldn't have referenced this.  Brings too much
attention on this poor shy person in the Midwest (of Maryland).	;-)
