1) It should be heartening to all who read this newsgroup that so far I have
   received almost 20 e-mail responses to my original posting in addition to
   3 articles that were posted directly to the net.  There were a number of
   constructive suggestions with most not contradictory.   I am in the
   process of writing a short article summarizing many of these suggestions
   and hopefully plan to post it in the not too distant future.

2) I am in the process of responding to each e-mail letter, but the response
   was so overwhelming that it is taking time, so for those of you who took
   the time to reply, be assured that I will eventually send you back e-mail.

3) I received e-mail from women as well as men, straights as well as gays.
   I will never again allow anyone to say to me, "No one in this world really
   cares about anyone other than themselves."  I have never believed this,
   and the outpouring of e-mail supports my position.
