There has recently been much discussion about Kosher labels
put on foods, which has reminded me of a question I have had.
I often see foods labelled as Kosher, with a "D" following,
which I always assumed implied Dairy. Yet, when I read the
ingredients, I find nothing which is dairy in them. The
ingredients all seem to be Pareve. Does the "D" mean that the
product was manufactured on non-Pareve equipment even though the
ingredients appear Pareve?
