I have a 1980 VW dasher(diesel if that matters) that makes a lot of noise when
I bear left on a curve (even if the curvature is very low) but makes much
less noise when I go straight or turn right. THis is noticeable only at
speeds above 30 mph. The car has 87000 miles on it.

ANy suggestions about possible causes and solutions would be appreciated.
