Hindu concept so I'm told.  I think the technical term for
it is pantheistic monism.

The Christian (and I think the Jewish) God is both Immanent 
(He has the ability to be present everywhere) yet at the same 
time He is believed to be Transcendent, that is, He is distinctly 
separate from His Creation.

Please let's hear from our Seminarians and Rabbinical students
on this one.
