Lines: 12 I'm glad someone else is questioning the identity of the killer! When I saw the movie, it looked to me like the janitor on the floor, after Glenn Close shot him. A pal of mine who saw it at another theatre thought it was Jeff Bridges' character, but was just guessing. A friend of hers was positive that it was Bridges' character. I was puzzled that the murderer would be someone who was never indicated as a suspect in the movie. Someone suggested to me that maybe this is a clever twist to the film-- shoot the killer at such an angle that everyone has to guess his identity and create their own ending for the movie. I like the idea of that, but doubt that's what was intended.
