Subject: uucp on ROS 3.3

I wonder if I'm doing something wrong. With ROS 3.3, uucp seems to have
become overpowering. When, uucico starts, it feels like my machine is
grinding to a halt. It is all the more surprising because my statistics
seem to indicate that the rate of transfer thru uucp has been divided by 2
since ROS 3.2. Any help on this?
