Summary: Using SGS to make portable binaries

Isn't possible to make binaries portable across multiple System V's on the
same processor by shipping them as an archive and then linking them to
the appopriate operating system routines at the customer site? This
could be done using a simple shell script. Please send flames/replies to
me and I will summarize.
