Why do you say that the Kobayashi Maru scenario takes place in Romulan space?
Is it perhaps because they make reference to entering "the Neutral Zone"?
Well, there is a Neutral Zone between the Federation and the Klingon Empire
as well, you know. One assumes that the bridge crew would have an idea about
whether they were near Romulan space or Klingon space so that specifying
which Neutral Zone they're approaching is unnecessary.
