A plea: Don't mail your vote when logged in as `root', `uucp' or `news' etc. Especially if others are likely to use the same login. My mailer is a bit better than most but it had to be helped to count all the recent votes I received. Also, I'm not sure about votes like: "[Someone] asked me to send you mail stating my support of a moderated group...". This one was the half vote. I personally am in favour of a top level net.* group. I don't like net.internat either - but see the main article. I am not going to join the discussions about changing the name - I haven't got time. Apologies also to all those who received replies with possibly offending Message-Ids! The Software did it. Talking of software, I wish rn (or whatever) would include the sender's Real Name in the headers of replies. -- ++ Jim R Oldroyd ++ jr@inset.co.uk (after Jan 1, 1986. `jr@inset.UUCP' before...) ++ ..!mcvax!ukc!inset!jr
