As I have to set-up tariffs for usage of our VAX I would be interested
in information on how to set tariffs.
In the past on our DECsystem-10's we calculated the price and the capacity
of all individual resources like cpu-sec,memory useage, disk transfers,
disk storage etc.
For the comparable items on the VAX I can do something alike.
But the most difficult for me is to set tariffs for page-faults,
buffered vs. non-buffered IO etc. Elements of which you not easily can say
which cost and which capacity they have.
So any information in that area and evt. actual tariffs would be welcome.
