Ahhh Ken. So nice of you to wish people to be informed. About what happens
to you if you demonstrate in front (within 500 ft.) of the South Africa Embassy
or the Soviet Embassy.

A small point.

While it is true, as you point out - thinking you are making a point, that BOTH
demonstrators are arrested (a point both Don and I made - so why do you make it
again???) the PENALITY (that's what happens after, you see) is NOT the same in
both cases!!!! THAT'S what Don and I were talking about. We are being taught
by the authorities in the city of Wash., D.C. that one's POLITICS makes the
difference between standing trial and paying a fine, etc. or having the charges
dismissed. A quick check of just about any report on the demonstrations will
show that those who fulfill their liberal moral obligation for the greater gloryof mankind in front of the South African Embassy are quickly dismissed while
those (who have the 'wrong' politics, you see) who make trouble outside the
Soviet Embassy have to 'face the music'.

Now, one of my points (unseen by Rich Hose'em because his brains are so fried atthe sight of my name on a posting that he MUST reply with a self parody or wet
his pants) was that there should be little the current arbitors of who goes
directly to jail, doesn't pass GO or collect $200. can say against the same
kind of arbitrary behavior when (not if) the other side gets in power - either
city, state or federal!!! Of course the media (untill they too are silenced
and replaced by the other point of view) will scream but why are they not
exercised about the 'justice' as served up now??? Why indeed.

Just so my point, a major one I thought, THE PATH OF PROTEST (and the reaction
to it by the 'authorities') LEADS IN TWO DIRECTIONS. The 'right' is organizing
and as Reno said to Custer, "Look at all those Indians!!!". The liberals are
making the same mistake as Custer, "Come on boys, we got'em now!". It is the
really 'fair' and equal application of the law that protects everyone. Sow
the wind and reap the whirlwind. Get ready for some heavy jail time boys and
girls. G. Gordon Liddy and his friends and supporters (among whom I am proud
to count myself - a supporter) have long memories. (You DO know what I am
talking about here, eh? He was given a heavy sentence not in any relationship
to his crime but purely on the basis of his politics.)

So serve yourselves up pipin' hot in front of whatever a few years down the
line and you'll have lot's of time to wonder what's going on in the outside
world and how you're going to take a shower without providing fun and frolic
for the 'older boys'. Oh, and don't forget to scream for 'fair play' and
'justice' and 'equal treatment'.

Keep chargin'

Ken Arndt
