Some news briefs from the November 1985 Underwater USA:

This month's editorial urges all divers to obtain CPR certifications.
"Information on how to obtain certification in your area is available
at your local Red Cross or Heart Association office."
    ----

The Divers' Alert Network (DAN) has increased annual membership fees,
	effective August 1, 1985. U.S. addresses will pay $15, up from $10.
Non-U.S. residents will pay $20 per year. Renewals will remain at $10.
	----

The Dolphin Research Center, of Grassy Key, Fla., is now accepting groups
of students or other interested individuals for dolphin "encounters".
Participants will have the opportunity to feed, train, and observe the
behavior of the 20 resident dolphins and three sea lions. Evening seminars
on husbandry, behavior, communications, biology, ecology, and conservation
of dolphins and other cetaceans will be held in conjunction with the
program. High school and college credit can be arranged. Mailing address:

	----

Epcot Center's "Living Seas" exhibit is expected to premier in mid-January,
1986. The article indicates that "Living Seas" will feature a coral reef
exhibit, miscellaneous "rare" artifacts, and (initially) more than 2,000
critters, including sharks, barracuda, and rays.
