In my article on Simple Minds new album _Once Upon A Time_, I made a comment about its lack of semi-religious songs, completely ignoring "Sanctify Yourself," one of the tracks. Sorry about that.. BTW, does anyone know why SM does these vaguely Christian songs? Are the band members Christians? (no, it's not going to be "Ann Muir Thomas is to Simple Minds as Doug Alan is to Kate Bush." At this point, I've just discovered Simple Minds, and am trying to find out more about them...) BTW, did anyone notice that Rush's new single lifts some U2 guitar riffs almost completely intact? Or that Simple Minds seems to be moving closer to U2 in style? Ann Muir Thomas "she will be your friend, until the ocean breaks...."
