In some Pascal that I saw, opening 'PRINTER:' was the thing to do, and the Pascal runtime fixed the rest. .BOUT has something to do with it, but is opening it and writing enough? I am asking this for a friend, myself I would dig into Inside MacIntosh to attempt to find the answer, but if anyone has a lucid and simple explanation, I would be grateful to pass it on to him. Thanks in advance! Arndt Jonasson UUCP: {decvax, philabs}!mcvax!enea!ttds!arndt
