As we don't seem to get mod.newprod in Europe, I for one am glad that 80386
info WAS posted to net.micro.  I already knew much of the technical stuff
(we usually get pre-release stuff on a confidential basis), but I didn't know 
what SW-etc. products would be announced nor the planned announcement date,
so I was interested to see the posting.  I don't think commercial announce-
ments of general technical interest should be banned, so long as they are to
an appropriate group, and only once per product.   

It was certainly more relevant than a lot of the stuff I see in net.micro!
