Summary:

Not really stupid statements; but I visited my new stepfather in MA
recently and he reminded me of some 'stupid' ways people say things
because he would occasionally lapse into a Cajun-style rap for a joke:

Some things sound really stupid if you don't know the dialect.
I speak of the Cajun folks in South Louisianna (near my homeland) and
also of the French people in South Central Massachusetts, to name only
two. These folks come up with some real gems; here are a couple I have
really heard used:

"T'row me out the window my sweater!" (Throw my sweater out the
						 window to me.)

"Ah done tolt you fo' t'ree time, an'
ah ain' gon' tolt you some mo' already!"	(I've already told you three or
four times, and I'm not going
						 to tell you again!)

"Ah lif' up de bed an' dere she is -- gone!"	(I lifted up the bed and saw
						 that it was gone!)

Dem is some mo' crahzy Cajun, no?
