Let's take a look at how well the Minor League (AL) has fared against
the mightier Major League (NL) over the past several years:

		AL WINS NL WINS
		------- -------

OVERALL 48 34
1903-1939 23 13
Since 1940 25 21
Since 1950 19 17
Since 1960 13 13
Since 1970 9 7
Since 1980 3 3

I think the results speak for themselves!!! The NL is starting to be
more competitive in recent history, however (-: !!

P.S. An interesting note is that the Yankees have won 22, or almost half,
of the American League's 48 victories, including an incredible span of 10
of 16 World Titles between 1947 & 1962. Good thing the Yanks are in the AL!!
