  Pacific-Sierra Research will be giving a tutorial/seminar
on efficient programming techniques for the CRAY systems
(including the CRAY-2) in December in Northern California.

One day (December 2) will be devoted to an overview of the
current supercomputer scene, and will cover the Cray, CDC,
Fujitsu, Alliant, Convex, SCS, and other architectures.

The remainder of the week (Dec. 3 - 6) will be a detailed
discussion of the specific vectorization and optimization
techniques applicable to the CRAY series machines and
  the CFT vectorizing compiler (FORTRAN).

The seminar will be given in Placerville, California
at PSR's offices. (Placerville is midway between Lake Tahoe
  and Sacramento).
