Actually, La Prensa *cannot* be right-wing; due to censorship, its published content is much the same as in the other papers. People buy it just for that faint *flavor* of independence. Inadequate as it is, it is the *only* outlet for unofficial, non-servile information and views. The authorities don't kill it outright, probably, for the same reason - it serves as a safety valve.
