I just saw the Mahogany Masterpieces catalog. It is a very nice, slick
catalog. I'm sure that all of the tools are of extremely high quality,
but come on, $12,000 for a saw?

The catalog is extremely entertaining. It is full of tool mysticism.
In several places it is noted that the iron is no longer available,
except for a small quantity. It is further noted that this ore was dug
by hand. A western plane is made by a "sincere New England craftsman".

Buy the catalog, don't buy the tools.
