]I've been wondering this myself. All I heard was that he was involved in a
]serious auto accident, and was replaced on their '81 tour by Vinnie Vincent,
]who has since been replaced by Mark St. John. I guess either he was unable to
]play anymore, or just decided it would be a good time to leave the band and
]keep his anonimity.

Mark St. John has since been replaced with Bruce Kublick (from Paul's
solo album) after Mark had a severe reoccurence of Reiter's syndrome.
(a form of arthritis).

]BTW, has anyone else heard that KISS is an acronym for "Knights In Satan's
]Service"?

You can thank the National Equirer for that fantastic piece of investigative
reporting.

Ace, by the way, is making a comeback, with a band know as _Frehley's
Comets_ Looks for an album to be released any day now.
