I am interested in answers to the following questions: 1. Will it boot from the hard disk? 2 Are you using a separate driver, or the one built into PC-DOS 2.x or 3.x (assuming that there is such a thing). 3. What controller/drive are you using. Ideally, I want to plug the drive in and have it boot from it and run PC-DOS 3.1 without having to deal with a separate driver being loaded by CONFIG.SYS. B.T.W. I am considering 20 Meg disks only, builtin (where floppy drive B would go) so it needs to be low power, half height, with a small (preferably low power) controller card. While I am asking questions, does anybody have any experience with multifuction cards for the Tandy 1000, or Tandy's own Memory+ card (which seems too pricey). Has anyone tried extending the bus outside the cabinet to connect a standard PC multifunction card, which are dirt cheap these days? Please reply to me, and I'll sumarize if there are requests.
