The 1986 Z28 should be available with an HO engine (195 hp) and
5-speed, but only a 4-speed can handle the TPI's 215 hp.  The
transmission just isn't strong enough, and it won't get any stronger.
The 'Vette motored '87 Z28 is going to come in automatic only.
Incidentally, the Fiero V6's 5-speed is made by Getrag and not by
Hydramatic like other GM trannys (again, GM's 5-speeds couldn't handle
the power output).
