This posting goes out to you folks that have been flameing
about the Rock Hudson jokes that came from this site:

	1) The joke(s) in question were ROT 13'd
	2) The subject line CLEARLY stated that the joke would
be offensive to Homosexuals (and thus those of you who
	   are sensitive to Homosexual Jokes)
	3) net.announce.newusers clearly states that the contents
of the postings in net.jokes can be quite offensive,
so you are cautioned about it.

Now to address the flames, comments, etc. about
the above mentioned posting. First the posting WAS Rot'ed,
and the subject line warned that the contents would be offensive,
so in order to read the posting you would have had to Un-Rot
the article, that in itself should have forewarned anyone
that the contents MIGHT (and in this case some did) be
found to be offensive.
Someone also mentioned that the poster did not
include his name, he did include a long signature, but
that did not stop you from sending return mail to the
person, as a return address is part of the posting.
(Ever here of reply, in vnews and readnews????). So
this complaint goes out the window.

If you still disagree with me on this, please
        re-read net.anounce.newusers, and only then
I will answer any mail on the subject.
