Message-ID: <5490009@acf4.UUCP> Date: Tue, 5-Nov-85 17:49:00 EST Article-I.D.: acf4.5490009 Posted: Tue Nov 5 17:49:00 1985 Date-Received: Fri, 8-Nov-85 06:38:35 EST Organization: New York University Lines: 12 I currently use a Blackburn bottle cage mounted on the down tube. My water bottles always get very dirty from the coating on the cage. I have used other cages, and this problem always persists. It seems that while the bike is in motion, the bottle rubs against the cage causing the coating to rub off onto the bottle. The markings are difficult to get off of the bottle plus the decal on the bottle comes off when I have to scrub the bottle to remove the markings. Has anyone had similar problems, and are there any cages which do not mark up the bottle? -Dominic Mancello (cmcl2!acf4!mancello)
