As long as we are talking about funny movies, I think none compare
to Dr. Strangelove, with Peter Sellers, and George C. Scott. While some
of the ideas in it are getting a little tired from more recent usage, the
film is still a brilliant collection of thought provoking sequences, sight
gags, and one liners. "Gentlemen, you can't fight here, this is the war
room.", "You just start your countdown, and ol' Bucky 'll be back before
you can say blast-off", "Peace is our profession".
The whole metaphore comparing all out nuclear war to sex, is carried
out in such a funny and professional manner, that this is the greatest
comedy that I have ever seen. The film won over sixty international awards.
