University of Maryland is ranked number 1, while UCLA and Michigan State are tied for number 2. What is that? football poll? No, these are the campuses with the highest crime rate. We in UCLA had one of the most horrible happenings on a college campus last month. Some gangsters from south Los Angeles came to Westwood to try to steal a car. Somehow they kidnapped two students just outside campus, brought them to a nearby mountain and shot them 'execution-style'. I hope Maryland or Michigan State does not have this kind of crime. It is sad to see the only schools I have attended (Maryland and UCLA) are ranked 1 & 2 in this survey. -- Eddy Lor ...!(ihnp4,ucbvax)!ucla-cs!lor lor@LOCUS.UCLA.EDU Computer Science Department, UCLA
