Never give them your card # if they call you. I enjoy the convenience of using telephone ordering of merchandise but I am careful to choose reputable companies and I am the one doing the calling. Even this probably has a bit of risk but I feel it is minimal. As for them calling me, well, I don't let them get far enough thru their pitch to ask for the sale before the call is ended.
