My Uniden cordless phone has recently taken to emitting sporadic
"synthesized cat howls?", kind of whooping noise, which is quite
loud; we've turned off the phone in response. Changing the channel
has no effect. I doubt it is an intermittent in the set, but what
could be transmitting these howls? Any ideas?
