This is an article from the August 1983 Scuttlebutt (the Yankee Clipper
Contest Club newsletter). I've used this circuit with a TS-430, and it
seems to work. Anyways, it's real easy to try.

A TS-930 Quickie

  Paul Young, K1XM

I guess my TS-930 works differently from John's.
It has some minor quirks, but I like it. One
problem which he had also plagued me - the
inability to connect an Accukeyer to it. Rather
than open my Accukeyer and add another output jack,
I built a simple level converter. It's very non-
critical, and only uses two parts. The transistor
can be any NPN device. I used a 2N2222 because I
had one in my junk box. The resistor is similarly
non-critical, and can probably be +/- 50%, whatever
is in your junkbox.

                              ---
                               -

This circuit takes advantage of the unusual config-
uration of the output stage of the Accukeyer. I
don't know if it will work on any other keyer.
