The coin was so old that they had to wish for everything twice >to get a complete wish, otherwise they only got half of what they >wished for. The book is called "Half Magic" and it is by Edward Eager -- the booklist two SFL issues ago lists it, out in a new edition, so it should not be difficult to find. There are further adventures of those kids, as well as their kids, and their cousins. All are delightful. I recommend all his books HIGHLY. Happy Reading! Leigh Ann
