Since there's a lot of hub-bub going around about full screen vi on the
unixpc, I thought I'd post a little diddy that gives you a full screen UN*X
object in your Office. Then, everything is full screen. I use it all the
time when I'm doing development. Just create a file called "Office" in your
HOME directory (the real one, not your Filecabinet) with the following contents:
#
# This is an office customization script
# Define a full screen Unix office object, available for experts only
Name=UNIX (full scr)
Expert
Default = Run
Run=EXEC -d $SHELL
Help=EXEC -d /usr/bin/uahelp -h /usr/lib/ua/ua.hlp -t "UNIX System"
#
---
I don't think the Help line is *really* necessary but it doesn't hurt. BTW,
the "Office" file allows individual users to customize their own Office
windows. When my wife was pregnant, I created an Office entry that would invoke
a shell to send email to me at work, in case she went into labor and I wasn't at
my desk. Anyway, I hope you find this useful -> I do.
