I've received a number of requests for the gearing on the Trek I took
to Vermont for my tour with VBT. So, I thought I'd post it for all
you gearing freaks.

The equipment consists of an Ultra 6 freewheel (13-15-19-24-30-34),
Huret Duopar rear derailleur, Specialized triple crankset (26-42-47)
with bottom bracket, Shimano Deore fron derailleur, and a Specialized
rear hub (36-spoke, cross-three). The gearing chart ends up as follows,
with a 24% full-step difference:

		34	30	24	19	15	13
	26	20.6	23.4	29.2	---	---	---
	42	33.4	37.8	47.2	59.7	75.6	---
	47	---	42.3	52.9	66.8	84.6	97.6

The ---s in the table represent gear combinations I don't use (because
of the extreme chainline angle, or lack of derailleur capacity -- though
note that the 26-19 WILL, actually, work). This ends up being a
"practical half-step plus granny," in that the useable gear combinations
produce a half-step pattern.

Tailwinds and downhills!
