Except for some technical subjects ("how much is the list price for xxx?") this net can at most give pointers for personal research or to provoke thought into things that you didn't concider (but that you still want to decide yourself). The only thing that gets me is when the same things get repeated too much. I don't see any practical way around it due to the transitory nature of this net's participants. Of course if it seems that everyone is argueing against you, maybe it isn't them that ain't listening. Heck, I plug my ears with cotton before running netnews....
