When one or more people answered "Miri", the questioner replied that it was not "Miri". If I can remember correctly, the supposedly correct answer was "The Deadly Years". Well, I've confirmed without a shadow of a doubt that "Miri" is the correct episode, unless "Or it could be a beaker of death" is an exact quote from a different episode. I just bought the tape of "Miri" (the things one does for accuracy in trivia :-)) and watched it the other day. The following exchange is transcribed verbatim: Kirk: "This is the vaccine?" McCoy: "That's what the computers will tell us." Spock: "Without them, it could be a beaker full of death." (Actually, it would be an Erlenmeyer flask full of death, but that doesn't scan quite so well. :-)) --- jayembee (Jerry Boyajian, DEC, Acton-Nagog, MA) UUCP: {decvax|ihnp4|allegra|ucbvax|...} !decwrl!dec-rhea!dec-akov68!boyajian ARPA: boyajian%akov68.DEC@DECWRL.DEC.COM
