We are now running NYU's (Salkind) latest notesfile here. I had previously
played with the version UofI was distributing. In my opinion the NYU
version is preferable for reading news since it has a "universal sequencer
key" to allow one to simply keep hitting 'l' to get to the next page to read.
It also shows which notes are new when on the index page.

The UofI version had the threshold feature in the archiver which looked
very desirable. Perhaps that will find its way into the NYU version.

We actually run both news and notes here but it looks like the NYU version
has enough in it that we could easily do away with news completely. They
are so far are co-exsiting peacfully on rocksvax.

The only complaint I have about the NYU version is that it includes the
whole Gecos field as your name. I will be changing that shortly.
