Gee, someone finally said what I've wanted to say all along, but
he didn't go far enough in comparing "Amazing Stories" to other shows!!!

What do you people want??? Another "Dallas" or "Dynasty"??? Jees,
we have enough psuedo-sex shows that it's refreshing to see something
like "Amazing Stories", even if it's a little predictable. I hate to
admit it, but I claim temporary insanity due to the flu, I watched the
season premiere of "Dallas". What a crock of garbage!!! Barbara Bel Geddes
is back as "Miss Ellie"??? BFD!!! What about Donna Reed and her lawsuit
against the producers??? I sure hope she wins!!! She deserves to!!! And
two hours???? Everything they did in two hours could have been done in
less than a half hour, without losing any important points. And bad acting,
and a bad script!!!

In talking with various friends, coworkers, aquaintances, etc.,
it seems that the people who like "Amazing Stories" are young couples with
young children, and the people who don't like it are for the most part
single persons. This is not an absolute, but just an observation I've
made. The reason I think the young couples like it is because they can
let their kids watch it without too much guilt(though episodes like
the BMOC are probably too much for little kids to understand).
