I am not a Mac user, what follows is a tentative suggestion:-

Why can't sources be posted as just that, *sources* and not in binhex form?
If the sources were posted, I might be sufficiently interested to try to port
some useful program to the machine I am working on, rather than the Mac, Amiga
or whatever. It seems to me that this would be more in the spirit of the net,
ie to share useful resources/knowledge.

[I assume that anything posted to the net is public domain, or for public use
with copyright attached]
