If people really want to have it created, one its proponents needs to propose it in net.news.group AND offer to collect votes. I will not be the one to do so, as I haven't heard any arguments at all as to why we can't talk about compilers directly in net.lang. I will suggest, however, that, if it is to be created, it should be net.lang.compiler (since it is really a subfield of net.lang topics. C Wingate
