Actually, there are seven clubs in the U.S. who will be running the
miniceptor series.  In the MRA we will have seven sprint races which
will have minceptor races.  Each race has a $1500 purse and there is
a $10K points fund for the season.  In addition there will be national
races where the top 5 from each club will be paid to go and race for
another $40K or so.  We (MRA) are also having a similar program from
Suzuki for *both* the GSXR 750 and GSXR 1100.  These are powerful
incentives to get me on a four stroke next year, but alas the Gamma
is THE bike for 86.
