I talked to a lawyer and mentioned that I wrote to the net and said
I didn't suffer any damages, and he said that I probably would lose the case
if I took them to court, but it would give the restaurant bad publicity. I
then talked to the manager, and worked out a deal. He would give me free food,
without toes, and in return, I would call a toe truck to get rid of the toe
and not tell anyone about the incident. I was hoping to get money, but there
were a few legal problems with that.

Thanks for all your advice, and flames for all of you who threatened
to send letters to the district attorney. If you're ever in town, look me up
and I'll take you out to dinner free.

				Thanks again,
