Last week, they say, they removed the toll booths from the Connecticut Turnpike. Many will never know the wonderful feeling of waiting five minutes to pay every ten miles. In addition, the road is in poor condition and, because the road is separated by only a steel guard rail, unsafe. And the cops are obnoxious, and (contrary to federal law), radar dectectors are verboten. Bridges have been known to collapse on the Connecticut Turnpike. It almost makes it worth swimming at the Jersey Shore instead of Cape Cd. ;-) Truthfully yours (from New Jersey) -- Howard G. Page AT&T HO 3D-534, (201)949-0366, ..!ihnp4!houem!hgp
