We humans all hurt each other from time to time due to callousness, selfishness, ignorance, etc. As you've pointed out, we can learn from these experiences and try to do better in the future. That seems to me to be what life is all about: hey, I may not be perfect but I hope I'm not as insensitive tomorrow as I am today. And if others can forgive me my mistakes I can learn from them, resolve to TRY to do better in the future, and forgive myself. I'm just as human and fallible as anyone else. Regretting my bad actions for the rest of my life and suffering as a result would be unproductive and certainly would do nothing for those I've sinned against. -- Cheers, Bill Ingogly
