I am looking for information on the relational data base system MIMER. MIMER
is a relational DBS which is hardware independent and OS independent.
Current implementations run under VAX/VMS and other related OS. In short
a version for UNIX System V and BSD 4.x will be available.

The RDBS was developed at the University of Upsala (Sweden ?). I am interested in
the following questions:

- Who has used it and what OS was it used under ?
- What was your experience using it (ease of use, userfriendlyness.....) ?
- If you have not used it - have you heard of it and in what context?
- Have you considered it but turned it down?

I am conducting this survey because I am evaluating the MIMER RDBS and would
like to have some input from other sources. Please send any responses to
me by mail.

Thanks for taking your time
