It seems to me that an ACC school is rarely in the chase for 
National honors, but when Clemson did it a few years back,
they did play Georgia, didn't they?  The ACC does play a
reasonably good national schedule; this year Maryland played (and
lost) to both Penn State and Michigan, should they have come through
undefeated, would you be discrediting them?
