My terminal emulates as a Televideo 950. My terminal emulation package
doesn't provide any information about escape sequences to display
messages in user status line. I have discovered that ESC g displays
the user line for about one second but I had no idea how to insert
characters into this line. I have tried extracting this information
from /etc/termcap but no luck. I need this information in order to
write my little sysline code to display system status and activity
per specified time interval. I would appreciate any pointers or the
information. Thank you in advance for helping me out !
