Does anyone have any suggestions for cycling (loaded touring, say a 400 mile loop) OR backpacking where we could mostly avoid the snow (and rain)? We have enjoyed the desert in Utah (in Spring) and thought maybe if we went far enough south... Can anyone tell me what the day length will be then? BTW, we would be interested in avoiding people as much as possible, and my wife is a cactophile so we should be fairly easy to entertain. Thanks, barry steel
