I think that the person who sugggested that the Apple/DRI suit is due
to Apple's not wanting a "second rate" desktop to represent the genre
might have some merit.  Point: they have NOT (as far as I know) started
action against Amiga's "Intuition" interface.  (On the other hand, they
could just be greedy, and will get around to Intuition, Windows, et. al.
soon enough.....)

P.S.: This does not mean that I think GEM is second-rate (or first-rate
