Lines: 14 What is all the fuss about daylight savings time? If the government wants to save on lighting in the winter, all they have to do is tell everyone to come to work an hour earlier. Likewise, if the farmers don't like daylight savings time because they would start work in the dark, they could just start an hour later. Don't move the clocks, move the starting time. The lack of consensus would relieve some rush hour conjestion too. The catch is TV. The shift in prime time would be unacceptable to most people. THey can't live without TV. Prediction: VCRs will make daylight savings time obsolete. (My first flame!)
