I owe the net a correction.  That section for USG is termio, not tty, in the
administrator's manual.  (I am looking now at a Sys5 manual.  I was posting
on such a machine too so shame on me for not looking at those "easily ac-
cessible" :-) online man pages!)  Still my main point stands.
