San Diego, Academic Computer Center Lines: 12 I was an associate sysop on a BBS in Davis for the summer (Aves: (916) 758-2314) and we used a Sider with good success. Seemed very reliable except for one crash; another Sider user advised us to stick to smaller volumes (140K). Apparently he had been using large sizes (400K) and encountered MANY crashes.d As soon as he cut down the volume size the problems disappeared. We haven't had any problems since then either. Considering dealer cost for just a 10M hard drive is ~$200-250, the $595 price isn't outrageous. We got the Sider through mail order also, but I don't know the company. Hope this helps somewhat...
