It is not just a kid's book; Louise Simonson has created a book of warm and very real characters. You really care what happens to them; and I haven't read an issue yet that I haven't enjoyed. In tone, it is similar to the kind of "children's book" that you still find yourself reading and enjoying as an adult; that is, the main characters may be kids, but that doesn't mean readers of any age cannot enjoy it. So, before you entirely write off Marvel (and I know that Secret Bores and X-Factor do not make them look good at all!) give it a try. -Sharon Tuttle (sharon@uw-june.ARPA)
