Whitey leaves in Ken Daley!! Daley was absolutely unhittable in the 8th innning and throughout the entire post season (10 shutout innings in relief). I know Whitey set up things so he could have Worrel pitch to Sundberg and Balboni, and that Worrel struck out 6 batters in game 5. But, with Daley in there the Cards win. KC goes down 1-2-3 in the ninth, game over no ifs, ands or buts. William Solomon Brighton, Ma.
