I approached this problem last spring in the notesfile code and
was roundly denounced for producing things that looked like:

	Path: .........!authorplaceholder
	From: user@site
and
	Path: .........!seefromline
	From: user@site

after all, the news standard says that the path line is
only supposed to indicate where it's been.  I was going
to drop even the "authorplaceholder" or "seefromline" but
i noticed that the news code (2.10.2) ignores the stuff to the right
of the last ! as being a user name.

I now produce headers like:

	Path: ....!authorsite!user
	From: user@authorsite

if i can be sure that the article has been at that site.  if not,
i still produce the "seefromline" sort of path.
