Re my posting about CBC interviews taped recently on the Enterprise
bridge set and subsequent question by steve:^)

Yes, the set was clearly identified by the interviewer as the
*Enterprise* bridge. Yes, I know there are other Constitution class
Starships, however I am not aware of any other constitution ships
having been upgraded to the new movie configuration. Indeed, Starfleet's
decision to scrap the Enterprise relatively soon after the costly
upgrade seems to imply that the retrofitting was not generally
successful. Indeed *Enterprise* may have been the only such ship
upgraded (as a test). In the movies, the other bridge sets we saw
were redressings of the Enterprise set, but had different color schemes
and furniture arrangements. I'm pretty confident that this was indeed
the same set usually referred to as the Enterprise bridge.
