Karl,

   The problems that your having is due to a bug in APPLEWORKS. I have the
exact same setup with the OKI [great printer !!]. I called up Orange Micro
and they said that the dealer has an upgrade disk so it works correctly with
the Grappler series. Well he was right. It now works great...Go to your dealer
and ask him, he should have it. Also if u call 1-800-OKIDATA you can get OKI-
NOTES for Appleworks. It helps out alot. If u still have problems call me at
