Message-ID: <9007@ritcv.UUCP> Date: Wed, 6-Nov-85 21:38:56 EST Article-I.D.: ritcv.9007 Posted: Wed Nov 6 21:38:56 1985 Date-Received: Mon, 11-Nov-85 05:31:11 EST Distribution: net Organization: Rochester Institute of Technology, Rochester, NY Lines: 21 [] 1) It should be heartening to all who read this newsgroup that so far I have received almost 20 e-mail responses to my original posting in addition to 3 articles that were posted directly to the net. There were a number of constructive suggestions with most not contradictory. I am in the process of writing a short article summarizing many of these suggestions and hopefully plan to post it in the not too distant future. 2) I am in the process of responding to each e-mail letter, but the response was so overwhelming that it is taking time, so for those of you who took the time to reply, be assured that I will eventually send you back e-mail. 3) I received e-mail from women as well as men, straights as well as gays. I will never again allow anyone to say to me, "No one in this world really cares about anyone other than themselves." I have never believed this, and the outpouring of e-mail supports my position. My thanks to all, j.r. {allegra, seismo}!rochester!ritcv!jrc
