Personally, I thought Whitey made a mistake only in leaving Worrell in to face Dane Iorg. After all, Worrell is only a rookie who has just seen his team start to go belly-up behind him, and Iorg is an excellent fastball-hitting lefty with a well-documented history of hitting well in the post-season. Put a different pitcher in, and the Royals would have to go to a righty pinch hitter. I was rooting for KC, and I was very happy when no change was made - Iorg was the guy I wanted to see up in that situation. I'm sure Whitey must have thought about making the change - I wonder why he didn't go for it? Oh well...nothing like hindsight, I guess. {allegra|astrovax|bpa|burdvax}!sjuvax!nick
