I am looking for a method of writing binary files from VMS C 2.0 with the
following characteristics. I want to be able to write arbitrary bytes
(including ascii 10) and when I issue an fflush, all bytes that are buffered
become a record. The file should be simple variable length record format
(not stream_lf) and have no record attributes (no carriage control att).

My question is can it be done?
