For something that is not only "safe" but different and interesting,
I highly recommend 'James Beard's Favorite Recipes'. Everything in it
is VERY easy and absolutely great! Definitely something that will make
a big hit with your friends, even the first time. I picked up my copy at
KMART for about 4 bucks. Happy Cooking!(Attention all Kmart shoppers...)
