Message-ID: <381@ll1.UUCP> Date: Wed, 30-Oct-85 08:33:53 EST Article-I.D.: ll1.381 Posted: Wed Oct 30 08:33:53 1985 Date-Received: Sat, 2-Nov-85 02:25:19 EST Distribution: net Organization: A.T.&T. Communications, Chicago Lines: 26 I have recently had a problem printing under MACWORKS on a MAC-XL (Alias Lisa). I had written a rather dumb program to print some mailing labels on the Imagewriter (Using it's standard font), it appears that flow control didn't work after printing about 30 to 35 (of 100) labels it prints a line or two of garbage and quits. At first I suspected that something had gone wrong with my hardware and after checking everything out I tried the same program using the Lisa Workshop. Much to my surprise everything worked just fine, I got 100 labels no errors! Now for the questions: 1. Has anyone else experienced this? 2. Is it a known bug (perhaps in MACWORKS)? 3. Does anyone know how to get around it? Thanks for at least reading this, please respond by mail if if possible. Mark Nettleingham ...!mgnetp!ll1!mn
