I am interested in obtaining some good quality fonts, either public
domain or available for a reasonable licence fee. They should be
defined geometrically rather than bitmap form. PostScript
path definitions or similar would be preferred, but Metafont
definitions would do as well.

I have heard that someone has designed a set of computer helvetica
fonts using Metafont, and (I think) I recall seeing a remark about
it on Usenet, but I cannot remember where. Can anyone mail me a
pointer/contact address?
