There seem to be several types of profilers around and I would like to collect and evalute as many of them as I can. Profilers usually require instrumenting the target code in some way so that statistics can be gathered about that code as it executes. Some profilers measure the number of times a function is entered, others keep track of the # of times a line is executed and others identify all branches and record the number of times a branch is taken. Percentages of code coverage and other stats are then reported by some of these profilers also.
If you are using or know of such tools running on SVR2 please let me know.
Include the tool name and a descriptions of its capabilities etc.
