The woman started reading her script and it didn't seem likely that she was going to stop expounding the virtues of her product any time soon. I quickly got tired of listening so I quietly put down the phone and went about my business. By the time my lenses were in the call had been completed. I know it was not polite for me to abandon the phone but it was also not polite for her to monopolize the conversation. If I had been asked, I would have said "No, thank you". -John A.
