"Information on how to obtain certification in your area is available at your local Red Cross or Heart Association office." ---- The Divers' Alert Network (DAN) has increased annual membership fees, effective August 1, 1985. U.S. addresses will pay $15, up from $10. Non-U.S. residents will pay $20 per year. Renewals will remain at $10. ---- The Dolphin Research Center, of Grassy Key, Fla., is now accepting groups of students or other interested individuals for dolphin "encounters". Participants will have the opportunity to feed, train, and observe the behavior of the 20 resident dolphins and three sea lions. Evening seminars on husbandry, behavior, communications, biology, ecology, and conservation of dolphins and other cetaceans will be held in conjunction with the program.
