I heard from several reliable sources that it's a piece of crap.  I semm to
remember (someone correct me if I'm wrong), that, compared to the DX7, it has
no touch/vel-sensitive keyboard, less voices, half the algorithms, less
storage medium, but not cheap enough to make it worth it.  My wife is
shopping for a synth in the same ballpark, and is looking at the Sequential
Circuits Split-Eight (which I also heard bad things about), $499, and the
Korg DW8000, $599.  The prices are what I've seen advertised in my area.
