WordPerfect 4.x (I have 4.0 and am waiting for 4.1) comes with a program
called CONVERT.EXE which can convert a WordStar file to WordPerfect format
and also a WordPerfect File in a WordStar file. It handled control chars
and dot commands fine in the few times I have had to use it.

You should be able to mail the WS3.3 file and CONVERT will take care of it.
