OK  LA  RAIDER  FANS!!!  HERE's  THE  HOT  FLASH!!!...

The  "inside"  news is....  the  Raider games are to be transmitted on
the  12GHz Bands... Forget your  10 foot dishes...  a  NEW  LNA  to
cover 12 GHz  will be required.

Sorry...  I  don't  know of any local taverns that have the new  12 GHz
down converter in service at this time...

There are about three companies ready to deliver the new  12 GHz
LNA/System...  about the same cost as a  'standard'  TVRO  (dish)...
The good news is,  the  higher frequency requires a smaller dish...
about three to five feet in diamenter... larger dishes = higher gain.

I  expect  VERY few  networks to convert to  12 GHz  because of loss of
new-found  advertising income satellite commercials now bring.
