We're shopping for a new system here and I'm comparing the technical
capabilities of various machines.  There are plenty of comparisons
between UNIX machines, so I have at least an idea of the relative
power of those.

I need some benchmarks comparing an IBM machine (ie, System/36) to
a non-IBM machine.  I must not be looking in the right publications,
as I have found nothing at all.  Any hints?
