I'm posting this message for Tim Wicinski:

In the article from arnold@ucsfcgl.UUCP (Ken Arnold%CGL), he writes:

>References: <1764@hao.UUCP>
>No rumor. Fact, actually. From the Washington Post, as published in
>the (well, it's what I've got) San Francisco Chronicle, Fri, 20 Sept.,

Well, I ran into the scientist yestreday in the bank line. I started talking
to him and he said they were really getting data from the satellite. He
said it wasn't as much as they were, since two of three recorders were
blown out, but it was still decent stuff. He also said that after the Post
article, the other agencies involved are trying to get him to say that
there was nothing of interest on board the satellite. Also, the pentagon
*might* be buying this man a satellite to hush the thing up. Also, they
didnt tell them they going to blow it up, they assummed they were turning off
the transmitters in the satellites.

I think there is wierdness going on.
