There is a computer BBS for firearms-related legislative issues, run by
the lobbying organization "Firearms Hard Corps", which is where Neal
Knox seems to be working these days. It is called (get this):

Bullet 'n Board

It can be reached at (703) 971-4491 during non-business hours (6 PM - 
8 AM Eastern Time) and all during most weekends. It operates at 300 bps
and you should give it three slow carriage-returns for recognition.
