I have a daemon process which receives commands in a mailbox and uses SPAWN/NOWAIT in order to execute the command. After a few days the DCL process dies with "no condition handler found". Sometimes the process does not die, but the SPAWN command returns a status of 0 (NOMESSAGE) without spawning a subprocess. Does SPAWN get tired? Is it using up some resource and not giving it up each time correctly? I will SPR this when I get enough info. Maybe I should just send 'em my .COM file and tell 'em to watch it for a week or two... /Kevin Carosso engvax!kvc @ CIT-VAX.ARPA Hughes Aircraft Co.
