CONVEX Computer Corp. is looking for some good people. Good people are
those technical types that can solve real problems, communicate with
their co-workers and managers, and contribute positive things in a
timely way to a start-up company which is now in its second phase of
growth.

We've shipped a bunch of ``affordable supercomputers'' in the past few
months and now have a stable computing environment with lots of fast
processors & memory, 4.2BSD (pretty much undistinguishable from your familiar
VAX), a Fortran Compiler unexceeded in its ability to vectorize
programs, 40 Megaflops of vector processing power that the super
Fortran Compiler can unleash, and a group of people who are now
gearing up to work on CONVEX's next set of products.

If you think you're technically the kind of person who enjoys conceiving
and/or implementing good ideas in an industrial kind of a way, then you
might be happy working at CONVEX. We have openings in the following
areas:
Compilers, Software Testing, Utilities, Operating Systems,
Diagnostics, I/O Logic Design, Military Products, CPU Logic Designer,
     Electromechanical Engineering, H/W Technical Writing.

Write to {ihnp4,allegra}!convex!kolstad or call me at 214-952-0351
if you would like to hear more.
