To any interested bird watchers in the Twin Cities area:

Sat. Sept. 14, I sited a Pilleated Woodpecker at Blackhawk Park, Eagan.
This was the first I've ever seen, and yes, he did look like Woody.

Blackhawk Park is a wonderful place for birdwatching. The trails are
wide and well maintained, civilization is close enough for comfort but
far enough not to scare the wildlife. It is also a beautiful place.
