	And a royal pain it is, too!  For the last three or so years of their
visits to this campus, the CSO has played that ghastly piece every single time
as their encore.  Why do they have to spoil an otherwise beautiful concert
with so banal a practice?  Symphony orchestras are neither required nor expected
to play encores.  This year we were graced with two concerts - different
programs - on consecutive nights.  The first ended with Tchaikovsky's 4th,
the second with Stravinsky's Firebird.  And each time they insisted in
following these tempestuous finales with that damned Berlioz piece - a rotten
anticlimax to an otherwise exhilarating performance.

	Will anyone join me in Citizens Against Rakoczy?
