I recently acquired a QUME QVT-103 terminal at an auction (for a very
good price). It has a few annoying features that I would like to
eliminate, and there are some I would like to add.

Does anyone know if there are new PROMS available that would allow
bit mapped graphics.

Is there any way to implement hardware handshaking instead of XON/XOFF?

Is there a way to eliminate the annoying feature that CTL-S turns off the
reception of characters to even if the XON/XOFF feature is disabled?

Does any one know how to use the arrow keys for anything useful? In off
line mode they seem to transmit useful codes, but on-line they all generate
the same sequence.

The QVT is a nice terminal except that the XON/XOFF problem makes it
annoying to use with wordstar. Even if I program another sequence for
character left instead of CTL-S I find myself bumping it occasionally.

Thanks,
