Has any other CoCo OS9'er noticed that when using the
Wordstar screen editor with the PBJ WordPack II,
that the top two lines get bargled up very early in the
edit? These are the file name and "typewriter platen"
lines. They quickly get overlaid with some lines from
your file, which gets very confusing since you think
they are part of the current page on the screen.
Often they are lines you *thought* you had deleted --
and in fact, you have!
Worse yet, you can ^E the cursor up into them
as if they were part of your file. You can even delete
chars out of them -- wonder what you're REALLY deleting?
The problem seems to begin when you use ^C to
advance by one screenfull, or maybe upon ^R in the reverse
direction. Anyway, does Frank Hogg have an upgraded version?
Or is the bug in the Wordpack OS9 driver? Or can I
TMODE something in TERM to clear this up?
Thanks, mike k
