Message-ID: <492@ihwpt.UUCP> Date: Fri, 4-Oct-85 13:37:37 EDT Article-I.D.: ihwpt.492 Posted: Fri Oct 4 13:37:37 1985 Date-Received: Sat, 5-Oct-85 06:50:08 EDT Distribution: net Organization: AT&T Bell Laboratories Lines: 14 When using the Radio Shack RS232 pack on OS-9 with their ACIAPAK driver (usually as /T2), the Pak MUST be plugged into Slot ONE (nearest you) of the Shack's Multi-Pak box. Slots 2 & 3 won't talk to a modem. Jeff Rhodes & I verified this with the Xcom9 terminal program (good stuff); it may apply to the ACIAPAK in general. So, if you're having trouble, check this 1st. In return, could someone please tell me how to change Buad rates on the Pack? I boot up with baud=3 (1200 Baud) but when I do "xmode /t2 baud=1" to get 300 Baud, when I restart Xcom9 I still have 1200 out of the Pak. Must I re-init the Pak somehow? thank, mike k
