The Angels also lost to the Brewers in five games in the 1982 ALCS.  They
blew a two games to none lead in that series.  

By the way, neither the Mariners nor the Blue Jays have made it into post
season play.  The only other franchise that I can think of that has never
made it to post-season play is Texas.  Montreal has never won a pennant
but did appear in the NLCS in 1981 (year of the strike).  They lost to
the Dodgers in that series.
