DON'T! A friend of mine is almost finished with one that includes squeeze and unsqueeze, and understands GEMDOS pathnames and file lengths. He hopes that if he can come out with his program first, it can become the defacto standard in the ST world. It would be a shame if LU were able to force its way onto the ST, since it really lacks a lot of important features. PACK68 (the name of the new program) will be placed in the public domain with all source code available (its written in C). Lets do something right for a change and not let crufty old CP/M software get moved to new environments. Please don't port LU! -- John P. McNamee decvax!philabs!sbcs!bnl44!jpm jpm@BNL44.ARPA
