They are not suing for stealing the micro-code.  The internal bus
of the V20 is TOTALLY different.  I read somewhere that the 8088 uses
an 18 bit, or something like that, bus for internal micro-code and the 
V20 is somewhere around 23 bits.  There were some articles in EE Times 
about the lawsuit and evidently there were counter suits over 
people being told that the V20 would be illegal.  I don't remember
the whole story, but I thought that NEC brought the first lawsuit.
