Message-ID: <301@whuts.UUCP> Date: Mon, 30-Sep-85 08:22:52 EDT Article-I.D.: whuts.301 Posted: Mon Sep 30 08:22:52 1985 Date-Received: Wed, 2-Oct-85 06:10:03 EDT Distribution: net Organization: AT&T Bell Laboratories Lines: 21 Does anyone on the net know what the original dimensions of Yankee Stadium were? I am particularly interested in the distances to left center and center field when the monuments were a part of the outfield landscape. A friend of mine and I have a wager about the distance to the furthest point, he claiming 511 feet and I claiming it to be under 500 ft. (487 or 478 to the deepest point). If someone has a reliable answer with the source so that we may reference it from a library, I would appreciate an E-mail response. If you're guessing don't waste the time of the net, please, there are some buffoons that get real upset. **** \ / |\\ / | | \| | | |\ | | | \| John B.
