I don't know how you did it, but you GAINED a house!  The Official Monopoly(TM)
Rules, in the section under equipment, states that there should be 32 houses!

My older Monopoly game lost a house awhile back and I constructd a new one out
of an old piece of wood.  If your game is that old (wooden houses), perhaps
that is what you did, later finding the missing house, of course.
