I doubt if there is a good solution. "Knowledge" goes out of date so
fast these days. Of the journals on my shelf, I would really want to
keep only a couple (Sci. Am for one). The rest I would be willing to
copy from library archives as and when needed. It seems criminal to
waste all that paper for the luxury of reading them in bed once or
twice.

Still, if you get some good suggestions, Mark, please forward them.
