Many thanks for all the "No Utensil" recipes. My son did the 
ground beef in a hollowed out onion. He said it wasn't very good
and took a long time to cook. I suspect he grew impatient and tried
to eat it before it was done! Eleven year-olds are not long on 
patience. He also did the refrigerated biscuits on a stick.

He got his skill award (he did eat it!) and he learnt how far and 
wide across the galaxy this net extends. 

Nobody asked for a summary, so I won't run up the phone bills with 
one! (Most of the suggestions involved wrapping stuff in aluminum 
foil. Others used hollowed out vegetables. Some suggested looking
in the Boy Scout books, which of course he already had. I posted 
the request looking for suggestions that were not in the manual.
I guess some folks are used to people posting requests that they
are too lazy to look up (sigh). )
