San Diego, Academic Computer Center Lines: 11 Keywords: multi-track fostex Summary: are they any good? I've heard a lot of negative comments about Fostex equipment on the net lately, but here in San Diego Fostex is about the only brand of 4-track recording deck available. The simple (mod 15 or something) one is going for $339 at the moment which sounds good. The question is: What is it about Fostex that you do/don't like about the unit? How is it better/worse than a Tascam deck? Does anyone else make any similar equipment that I should consider? Eric Anderson, UC San Diego {elsewhere}!ihnp4!ucbvax!sdcsvax!sdcc3!ewa
