The American Eskimo dog is NOT an AKC recognized breed (yet) - they are
recognized by other "dog" organizations.  I agree that they are a very
nice looking dog - I have a Sammoyed, which by appearances looks like a
larger version of a AE dog.  I'd suggest you pick up a copy of "Dog
World" (available at larger newstands - or at least in larger pet
shops).  The back advertising area usually has some AE dog ads - I'm
sure the people would be MORE than happy to tell you about their dogs!
