A friend has a Commodore 4032 computer system which is currently
outfitted with a Commodore CBM Bi-Directional dot matrix Printer,
model 4023, which is connected to the computer by means of an
IEEE-488 interface. The only software that he runs is Professional
Software Incorporated's WordPro 3 Plus word processing software.
His objective is to purchase an inexpensive letter quality printer
that will be compatible with the 4032 computer, the IEEE-488
interface and the software. I would appreciate any information
anyone can provide as well as possible leads, such as user groups,
magazines, etcetera. I am in the process of contacting the
manufacturers to see what they can do for him. I rarely read
any of these news groups, so I would prefer if you would respond
by electronic mail. Thanks in advance.
