Beaches we'll grant you. Women--we'll leave that one > alone, because it reeks of sexism. Skiing, no. Colorado. Weather, no. Sev- There are other considerations to be made in terms of weather than just days of sunshine. Here in New Jersey, I am looking at my fourth winter-- I am already heartily tired of shoveling the snow out of the driveway and walkways, dealing with the snarled traffic and the $@%&*%&*!!! salt, and feeling the the brisk winds plus the freezing cold that is sometimes accompanied by briiliant sunshine that can almost fool you into thinking it's a balmy day out there. It's already snowed this year in Denver-- no? I like snow, but I like to be able to take it or leave it. In California, I can do that whether I live in the north or the south. It's considerably harder to do that in Colorado. California (particularly SoCal) beats out Colorado hands down for best weather. Mark Modig ihnp4!sfmag!mom
