I should probably mail this, but other people out there might be 
interested.  There is an article in the July-August, 1985 issue of 
SUMMIT entitled "Aconcagua's Normal Route" by Dan Leeth.  It has
just the sort of information you're looking for:  logistics, 
planning, route description, the works.
