I just got a note from Ariel on the ol' orca machine.
She pointed out that the "to hell with 'em" attitude
was a little rabid on my part in my posting on the
above subject. She's right. I mearly wanted to point
out that you deserve time for yourself and you should
take it without feeling guilty. The "to hell with 'em
attitude should be saved for those really tedious and
troublesome circulstances where the SO or other person
is so insecure that he/she gets on your last nerve. I
had a ladyfriend who just wouldn't take my word for it
that it had nothing to do with her, even after repeated
explanation of why I wanted to be alone.

So, if anyone ever tells you "its got nothing to do with
you, I just gotta get my brain together", pay attention.
It might just be he or she is giving you the true reason
for wanting to be alone...

But, what can you say to someone to make 'em understand
you want to be alone? I've tried everything, this ONE
SO was just a problem. But, now that I think back on it,
I could have gotten a better understanding with her form
the start. Guess that's another plug for puttin' yer cards
on the table at the begining of the relationship...Seems I
learn some and forget some. Maybe I should keep a notebook(8-).

No dear, 's not you. 'S me. I gotta be alone. You don't wanna
hear all that racket while I clean out my brain do ya? The
noise would make a preacher cuss...
