Summary:

I haven't seen any of this year's schedule, but for as long as I can remember,
the season has always started about three or four days before Canadian
Thanksgiving, which would put it at October 10 or 11. There are usually only
about two or three games on the Thursday and/or Friday, but a full slate of
games on Saturday and Sunday. The pre-season games have been going on for at
least a week.
