I saw an interview with Bruce last year (on MTV?) where he
was asked that question.  If I remember correctly, he did not
feel that a live album would really be able to capture the
high energy of his performances.  Also he feels that a live
performance is as much visual as audio and that could not
be captured on an album.  I still wish that Bruce would put
out a live album anyway.
