I've seen recent ads for new BASICs called Zbasic and QuickBasic from
Zedcorp (I think) and Microsoft...   Anyone know anything about these?
Are they shipping?  Looks like even Microsoft is pricing more competitively,
now...  I'm sure this is due to Turbo's great success in the Pascal market.   

I recall reading that Borland is supposed to have low cost Modula and BASIC
compilers some time soon.  

Anyone care to comment on the commercial viability of low cost basic
compilers?
