I just purchased a very expensive pair of Stax Headphones ($330), and I must
say I am not thrilled about the sound I hear from them. The sound is harsh
and not transparent.

I have a pair of Superex electrostatic headphones that sound, to me, far
superior, though these headphones are not working properly right now.

I enjoy listening through headphones more than I do through speakers, and
decided to invest in a very good pair of headphones. I bought the Stax on
reputation. Admittedly, I should have auditioned thse headphones, but they
were a special order item.

Any suggestions on a very good pair of headphones? The quest goes on.

I'm tempted to get my Superex phones fixed, and return the Stax. Does
anyone know if Superex is still in existance, and if so what their address/
and or telephone number is?

Appreciate it.
