   Yes, someone out there does care!  I've had alot of luck meeting
people in the classes I've taken.  Conversation comes very easy, just
talk about the material.
   Social organizations provide another good opportunity.  This
especially allows you to meet people with common interests.
   Friends are also a big help.  
   And lastly, go to those parties!  Whether it be parties of your
friends, classmates or acquaintances.  You are going to have to make
the effort though, to talk to people.
