I have (another) problem with my 79 Renault LeCar. It idles very roughly,
and often stalls at stops.

I suspect the idle passages are gummed up in the carb. I have gotten
some results by using STP gas treatment. This is obviously fighting a losing
battle.

I wonder if there is any better solution, short of rebuilding the carb. I
don't feel like doing that myself (its a Weber), and the Renault dealer
wants $130 labor + $60 for the rebuild kit.

Any suggestions?
