Wasn't this also  true  (for a  short  time  only,  granted)  in  "Court
Martial"?  I think that episode was the one called "Court Martial" and I
know it  was neither of the two  listed.  The  one I mean is the  one in
which Spock detects computer  tampering  through a chess  game  and gets
*everybody* off the Enterprise  so he  can  trace  a  heartbeat or  some
such....
