This afternoon I went to see "The Ninth Configuration" based
solely on the phrase "It will keep you on the edge of you mind"
in the newspaper add, but I must say that it lived up to that ad.
"The Ninth Configuration" is an excellent movie. It's hard for me
to try to do a proper review without giving away too much of the
plot. In a nutshell, Stacey Keach plays Colonel Hudson Kane, who
is an army psychiatrist assigned to cure group of military mental
patients who are being isolated from the public by the government.
The movie deals with the patients as they try to come to grips
with their sanity. The plot takes an incredible twist when we
realize that Col. Kane is suffering from his own problems, which
unfold as we find out more about his past in the Marines.
Stacey Keach does an excellent job of acting in this thought-
provoking movie. Go see it if you get a chance, it seems to be
	getting only a limited distribution.

I rate it four *'s out of a possible four.
