We are going to be using Macs for our lowwer level courses, and Sun/Apollo/uVaxII's for upperlevel courses. We would like to permit our lower level students have access to campus mail, hence we need to have a mail system for our Macs. Our current plan is to have our gateway vax (osu-eddie) run a nameserver and mailserver (expanded pop2) and have a mail reading/sending program on the Macs. Has anyone done such a thing yet? Or do any other Universities have parallel plans? Cheers, ----------- Mark A. Verber {cbosgd,ihnp4}!osu-eddie!verber Ohio State University verber@ohio-state.csnet +1 (614) 422-0915
