How about bizarre people names ?? A few years ago I attempted to help
my wife choose a name for our newly adopted infant daughter by dredging
up the best of both families, to wit:

My wife's aunt Hectorine Bean (I think her parents were expecting a boy)

My 2nd or 3rd cousin whose first name is Myrtlebanks (no kidding -- the
lovely girl was named after her aunt Myrtle Banks and surprisingly wasn't
emotionally scarred for life -- her friends call her Embee)

After much concentrated thought, I offerred up "Hectorine Myrtlebanks" as
an appropriate name for our new darling daughter. I never knew that my
sweet, petite spouse had such a terrific right cross......
