The Boston Globe described the same incident as a classy act of
management reminding the fans of what Canada has done. Yes, the Yankee
fans booed, but they were booing the opposition in a pennant race, which
I find entirely understandable. I guess the excitement of your first
race got to your head and colored your judgement. Season yourself
some and keep from showing your own lack of class next time, before
labeling others.

This should have been the first line of a baseball fan's article.
You'll learn in time.

George often gets carried away, but he has shown unusual patience
for him this year since Yogi's departure. On the other hand, nothing
succeeds like success. Has their been a more successful franchise
since Toronto entered the league?

I'd say Mr. O'Connor has a problem with the city of New York. Perhaps
you should try a visit and you wouldn't be so intimidated. Then
you could begin to appreciate two of the finer teams in baseball.
