If you want a negative comment...

My understanding is that the Amiga is designed with in a sense two memory
busses, with the display processors only talking to one of them; thus if
you run from memory on the second "bus" your performance wouldn't be
affected by traffic on the display "bus".

However to use the second "bus" you have to buy an expansion box at extra
cost. The only memory expansion possibilities within the box seem to be
an extra 256K for the display "bus", making a total of 512K. This total
also seems to be the limit for the display "bus". 512K would seem to me
to be somewhat limited if you wanted to do a lot with high resolution
playfields.

I also recently saw a message on Compuserve that the Amiga graphics processors
can only address 512K, and thus even if you could add more display memory
you couldn't use it (i.e. 1MB chips wouldn't help you...). Does anybody
know whether or not this is true?
