A five point harness, I seem to remember, is one which includes a
"submarine strap", so called because it goes from the floor in front
of you, between your legs and attaches to the central buckle point.  The
name is derived from the idea it stops you from diving under and out of
the standard four point harness.  Sounds like it could hurt!
