Our group is experimenting with Silogic's Prolog (Knowledge WorkBench) running on a Plexus P60 under Sys III. We seek: 1) Others with similar environments with which to exchange notes 2) Suggestions on GOOD MS-DOS prolog systems which we might purchase. We've looked at Mprolog and have ported UNSW prolog, neither is satisfactory. Ideally, we'd find one with some degree of compatibility w/our Unix version. 3) Pointers on good intro texts other than Clocksin & Mellish 4) Suggestions on means accelerate learning Prolog in preparation to exploiting it in prototyping work. 5) A supplier of the archive for this news group paper or 9-track tape Regards, Steve Childress Eaton IMS R&D Group MS 43 31717 La Tienda Drive Westlake Village, CA 91360 (818) 889-2211 X2148 {trwrb, scgvaxd, ihnp4, voder, vortex} !wlbr!steve or ...wlbr!wlbreng1!steve
