I am looking for information on programs/systems that will allow
PC to PC communications plus file transfer capability. We need to
develop such a link with Costa Rica. Does anyone know if a 1200 Baud
modem will work or should we stick to 300 baud?

The type of utility we seek is one similar to 'talk' on Unix plus
the file transfer capability similar to Kermit.

I realize that Kermit will do some of this but are there others?
What about Xmodem? Any help will be appreciated.
