First, the Switcher arrow is graphics, not a menu title. Second, it does not go through the Menu Manager; instead, it intercepts mouse-down events in GetNextEvent and uses "raw" hit-testing to see if they occurred in the Switcher arrow. This is not the same thing Chuq is suggesting.
