I agree.  If the taxpayers don't like feeding poor people, they can vote
for candidates who will eliminate government assistance.  We do have
elections, you know.

Why? With no income taxes in Libertaria, contributors would not have tax
deductions for contributions.  The major charities are all strongly opposed
to cutting marginal tax rates in the higher brackets because they are afraid
it would cut contributions.

What makes you think that the Salvation Army ALONE can do a better job than
the state and the Salvation Army together?  Private charity is not confined
to Libertaria.
