Mattingly, when he visited the Beanbox on the last trip, tattooed the Green Monster. The Yankees, as well, are desperate for good starting pitching, and Don has managed to combine his run production (RBI's, respectable AVG, HR's, and run prevention {fielding}) to keep the Yankees as close as he could. Now as the season winds its way down to the last few games, the cream from the east (this year), has made its way to the top (Blue Jays). We'll have to see the last 2 weeks yet, and then make a final judgement for the top candidate for MVP. In defense of your comments, maybe the Yankees should make a trade for Boggs; but I wouldn't want to see them give up Mattingly. PITCHING IS THE NAME OF THE GAME. ...what's left but strength up the middle! \ / |\\ / | | \| | | |\ | | | \| John B. Lo Coco (...whuts!ogre) (...szuxn!ogre) 1-201-467-7436
