One name that has not come up so far in the MVP discussion is Dave Parker
of the Reds.  As of Friday (Sept 20), Parker had  * 111 *  RBI's, which
I think leads the league ( and is 30 more than Guerrero), a batting
average of .310 (approximately 10 points below Guerrero), and 28 home runs
(also close to Guerrero).  I do not follow the Reds, but off hand I would
assume Parker has done more for the Reds this year than Guerrero has
done for the Dodgers or McGee has done for the Cardinals (and remember,
a Cardinal fan is writing this).
