A while ago I sent a msg to the net asking if anyone had any info
on hard disk interfaces for the Atari. So far I have had no answers.
I just had an idea, and so I have a more specific question:

The ATR 8000 (by SWP) allows interfacing to off the shelf 5&1/4
and 8 inch disks. Does it also allow interfacing to hard disks?
If so, which interface? SCSI would be nice because there is a
       Bernoulli Box which uses SCSI.....

	    Thanks for any info,

P.S.: Does anyone know if SWP is still around & functioning?

    ------

The ATR8000 doesn't handle hard disks. However, they have a newer model
called the ATR8500 which does. I think you give up the ability to use
eight inch diskette drives.
