A few years ago, we bought the (then) new 64K boards to extend our memory from 4 to 12 Meg. Everytime the Micro Diags (off-line) were run and the system was automa- tically booted afterward, the system would allocate 4 Meg because it thought the memory wasn't contiguous (so I was told). Powering off and on the memory power supplies before booting cures our problem and I've never bothered to ask why. From The Great Zar p.s. 10 of the 12 Meg is DEC memory. 2 Meg is Mostec (I believe).
