I'm looking for a recommendation and source for a good quality
pressure cooker. It should be of stainless steel, but the base should
be clad or cored with a thick layer of aluminum or copper. We used to
have a Swiss Duromatic with these properties, but the plastic handles
fell apart after several years' use. Our present Presto does not have
the cored base and requires the electric burner to be set at a much
higher level than its predecessor needed.

Please reply by e-mail, and I'll summarize for the net if
there's interest.
