All of the Top 40 stations in the NY/NJ area are playing
the censored version of "Money for Nothing."
In addition, the NY rock stations, WNEW, WXRK (K-rock), WAPP,
and Phila., WMMR, are all playing the censored versions,
most of the time, which is a real shame, since it is a great song!
However, I have heard the uncensored versions on the
above rock stations, though less often than the censored
ones; I guess it has to do with the times they are played.
Even though sometimes they play the uncensored version,
the whole beginning of the song is cut out.

Why DO the stations insist on playing the censored version
90% of the time?

Regards!
