About a month ago, I posted a request for a way to read/write standard
ANSI tapes. I have since received a copy of ansitar, a program which does
this. Ansitar will read tapes in standard "F" (fixed recordsize) format,
as well as "D" (variable len records) format. However, it will only write
in the "F" format. Does anyone have a version that will write tapes in
"D" format? This is the format produced by a VMS VAX "COPY" command.
