Does anyone have recommendations for an 8085 C cross-compiler
or cross-assembler available for an IBM PC with MS-DOS or for a VAX
running under 4.2bsd UNIX??? The ones commercially available for
the PC are in our price range (<$2K), but the ones commercially
available for the VAX are definitely not (>$8K). Are there any public
domain packages out there that can do either C cross-compiling or
cross-assembling on the VAX under 4.2bsd UNIX??? Ideally, we'd like
to have a C cross-compiler running on the VAX for the speed and
multiuser capability but we can't justify the cost of a commercial
package. Comparisions of performance of commercial packages available
for the PC are also welcomed. Anything costing less the $2K is in
the running for consideration.
                           Thanks in advance
