According to the Wall Street Journal, Sept. 25, 1985 on the front page:

	"Commodore International posted a $124 million fiscal fourth-quarter
loss, considerably wider than it projected last month.  The firm said
auditors will qualify its annual report."

In a follow-on article on page two the WSJ went on to report that Commodore
was in "non-compliance with certain financial tests of its loan
agreements".  Analysts expressed concern over the fragile nature of
Commodore's financail situation as the company is headed towards the
critical holiday sales period.

Commodore is currently trying to renegotiate long-term loans.  The banks
which have these loans refused to comment on Commodore's position...
