I have had some trouble with vignetting when I tried to use
a thin polarizer (specifically designed for wide angles) at the 28 mm.
focal length setting. I was wondering if anyone else has had similar
difficulties with filters. The problem doesn't seem to occur with
the UV filter, which is roughly the same thickness. Could this be
related to the fact that the light from the corners of the image
has to pass through more glass than light from the center? I also noticed
that this vignetting is not always symmetrical.
