Way back when, old Noah was roaming around in his ark. One day his son came
up to him and told him that two of their snakes, specifically the adders, were
having problems reproducing. In fact, they had not had one offspring during
the whole voyage. Noah said "No problem" and instructed his son to grab one
tree and four branches as they floated by. His son was perplexed, but did as 
Noah bade. Noah then told his son to split the tree in half lengthwise, and 
place one half on the four branches with the flat side up. After doing so,
Noah put the two snakes on top of the table, and left to take care of other
duties. Sure enough, soon there were lots of baby snakes roaming around the 
boat. When his son asked him how he knew this could work, Noah responded...
