Cheers did a tribute to Nick Colasanto last spring, the week after he
died. They changed the rerun schedule so that they would be running an
episode that featured Coach more than the planned episode, and they
preceded the show with a his picture and a voice-over mentioning his
death.

Speaking of deceased TV stars, I am very surprised that none of them won
the Emmy Awards for which they were nominated. Usually, dying gives an
actor an extreme advantage.
