Lines: 14 Xref: watmath net.unix:5389 net.micro:11483 [] Recently, the hard-disk on my ALTOS 586 went south (i.e., "quit"). One quote for a repair and upgrade to a 40 Mb hard-disk was $3000.00!!! Does anyone know of, or have had experience with, a less *costly* method for upgrading/repairing the old 10 Mb Miniscribe hard-disk to one of higher capacity. The 'do it yourself' method is OK. -marc@pesnta (Marc A. Ries) UUCP: decvax!decwrl!amdcad!amd!pesnta!marc BELL: (714) 544-9093 wrk. 921-2969 home MAIL: 280 Paseo Picaro, Anaheim CA 92807-2321
