A local man drove his pickup truck into a hole that had been dug
for a sewer construction project.  The hole completely enveloped
the truck.  He claimed that he didn't see the hole.  In the man's
defense, it should be mentioned that vandals had stolen the warning
markers around the 20' x 10' x 6' hole.
