A friend of mine swears by the local (U.S.A.) variety of
this rice, which is known as Texmati.  Anyone care to
guess where it's grown?

He claims it's just as good as Basmati and less expensive.
Since my friend isn't sitting right here for me to ask,
I can't give you any tips on where to find it.  Try
asking at your local store.
