I'm posting this for my friend:

I have had a sony D-5 for several months and I have no problem
when I listen to it using headphones or thru audio system.
But when I hook it up to portable stereo it sounded distorted
even when I played it at faily low listening level.
The portable stereo I was using was panasonic RXC-20(? I'm not
sure about the model name of it) and it has LINE/CD input.

Are there anyone who can help me with this matter?

Please send me a reply using e-mail to following address;

Thanks in advance.
