Nice try Brad -- but wrong. The earth orbits the Sun, the solar system
orbits the center of the Milky Way Galaxy, and the Milky Way galaxy is
accelerating slowly towards the center of the universe (but moving
away). The Earth is NOT an inertial frame at all.
