Now I have nothing against the concept of a net.sources.pc but...

How many of you who so vocally advocate this group *really* want source
programs for your pc? I suggest that creating the newsgroup net.sources.pc
will not, of and by itself, make source programs materialize. Until
net.micro.pc gets so crowded with sources that readers complain (as did
the readers of net.apple.mac or whatever before it begat net.sources.mac)
I suggest that we table any notion of net.sources.pc.

In general, there should be a demonstrated need for a newsgroup (lots of
articles within a subject) before a newsgroup is created. Having been
around the net for a bit, I've never noticed that lack of a newsgroup to
post in prevented anyone from posting their worthwhile programs.
