I have a better proposal. Instead of firing the
smokers, I suggest that ATTIS fire all their
employees that post articles to net.flame (or any
of the net groups, for that matter). After all,
quite a few of such inane postings adversely affect the
mental health of other employees--including those of other
companies and ATTIS employees who aren't even co-located!

They get less work done than those who don't post
(even smokers who miss work due to health reasons),
since they're wasting all their time on the job spitting
waste into the net instead of being productive. And
just think of all the legal fees that could be saved
with the reduced number of liability and class action
civil rights suits.

What do y'all think?
