For instance: "MacMIDI 32(tm) allows one Macintosh to play up to 32 independent MIDI channels, which can be assigned to an unlimited number of synthesizers." $150 (quote from their publicity) The software drives their hardware, but also converts to/from/between the data formats of the existing Macintosh music programs (MusicWorks, ConcertWare and Professional Composer). -------
