Oxnard,CA Lines: 24 We're going to be thinking about getting a family dog here soon, and we were wondering what is a good breed to get. Right now we have one 2-year-old and we hope to have a couple more in the future. I personally think Dalmations are neat dogs, but since I never knew one personally (or anyone that had one) I was wondering if they made good family dogs--especially for families with small children. Anyone out there have any experience with Dalmations they might want to comment on? We don't want a really large dog, like a German Sheperd, but we don't want a small, yappy type dog either.
