     This reminds me of a Guindon cartoon.  In it, there is a stereotype
yuppie woman standing talking to a very grubbie-looking auto mechanic at a
garage.  She is saying, "The statement you have just made has hurt
me and I am feeling anger toward you."
     I think this shows the humor of applying these kind of sentiments in
places where all the people involved don't share even CLOSE to the same
ideas about feelings, etc.  Along the same lines, you'll notice that the
people who come from situations in life where the basic struggle for survival
and the non-esoteric aspects of life are of primary concern (as in the case
of the auto mechanic).  Only the people who come from homes where there was
time and money to allow a lot of free time (most of us here) are the ones
who are interested in this kind of approach to life.  The dichotomy is
amusing.
