I live alone because I always have a lot of people around me when I'm out of the house, and I need to have a place to go where I can be alone. It doesn't bother me in the sense that I find if offensive, but it certainly would make life frustrating if I had to listen to it all the time, without the opportunity to make any of my own. (I had some experience with over-hearing someone my freshman year in college in my dorm room, but it certainly wasn't every night.)
