Ah, yes, where is Spiro T. now that we need him? :-) 

I tried coming up with pejorative slang for "intellectual" other than
"egghead," and the best I could do was:

    "S/He's a real brain."  [said with a mixture of envy and contempt]

I suspect I credited the anti-egghead crowd with a bit more creativity
than I should have. :-)
