Here at Lotus, most of the users of shareware send in a check from
their own pockets.  Shareware is often the source of very high-quality
products (and very enjoyable ones too, such as HACK)

If someone uses the disk on a regular basis w/o paying, they are
only cheating themselves, as updates/upgrades/new products will
not be forthcoming from authors who have to reenter the job mill
to survive.
