Yes. "net.sources". There have been several proposals for separate source newsgroups for micros lately, splitting up so that IBMers, CP/Mers, AppleIIers, etc can all post to "the right group". Unfortunately, no one is posting source in noticeable quantity for ANY of these machines. Splitting off new newsgroups should be done when the old newsgroup is flooded. Creating a newsgroup won't create a stream of articles that doesn't exist now. Why net.sources.mac, you ask? Well, a couple of weeks ago, net.sources.mac was the second largest group in volume. That's why there is a separate source group for Macintosh software. Net.sources gets almost exclusively Unix sources, with occasional Vax/VMS source.
