I am having difficulty getting ditroff from Berkeley running and am
hoping you net people can help. First, my distribution tape did not
include the installation script "dit.install" so I kinda played it
by ear. On the second attempt at installation we discovered that the
imagen driver distributed on the tape was for 240 dpi imagens. I have
modified every file in which I found a def or other mention of 240 dpi
with no success. I did get output using the 240 dpi version but it was
reduced in size accordingly. Also, there were alot of fonts that the
distributed software thought I should have which I didn't. I assumed
that these fonts were distributed with 240 dpi Imagen printers but not
with my 8/300.

If there is anyone out there who
   a) has the BSD ditroff running correctly with an 8/300 or
   b) has the dit-install script or
   c) has a ditroff filter for an 8/300 which I can have a copy of or
   d) has some advice for me or
   e) is having the same problem and would like to compare notes
please respond to me via e-mail.

Thanks for reading this. I have always had good success when asking netlanders
for help and hope this turns out the same. TIA
