   Oh good grief. Why on earth would living alone be unnatural? I can
see it being lonely for some people (personally, I love it), but
unnatural? Where does that come from? I live alone because I always have
a lot of people around me when I'm out of the house, and I need to have
a place to go where I can be alone. I'm never lonely though.

    It doesn't bother me in the sense that I find if offensive, but it
certainly would make life frustrating if I had to listen to it all the
time, without the opportunity to make any of my own. (I had some
experience with over-hearing someone my freshman year in college in my
dorm room, but it certainly wasn't every night.) Crickets on the other
hand just don't seem to affect me in the same way...
