How old are YOU? I'm having a tough time trying to figure out if
you are 11 or 12. The writer asked for serious suggestions, the one
you propose has the maturity of a 12 year old. If you were in the
postion (no pun intended) of the person upstairs wouldn't you rather
have your neighbor politely knock on your door and let you know, then
have your neighbor play back a tape that could be embarassing!!!

Even though it is a somewhat awkward situation I think most people will
be suprised at how easily it is handled by politely saying
something to the neighbor.
