He also played when I say the concert in Boston. He was a highlight of the show. McLaughlin played too much using the Synclavier II, and the saprano sax was painfull because it was over amplified and severly distorted. Does McLaughlin always overdrive the amplifiers? It is heartening to see another McLaughlin fan. I rarely see any musicians discussed here that can an instrument well, let alone master one the way John McLaughlin can. I too am sick to death of KB, although I did go out and buy Dreaming and like it. Do people really have to post all the lyrics? My revenge is all the John McLaughlin written lyrics off my dozen or so albums: () So there! I don't claim McLaughlin is the god of guitar either. Paco DeLucia blew him and Al Dimeola away when they played together, but he can play enough notes for a half dozen punk/pop guitarists!
