Back around 1970 or so, the Dead did some marathon shows that
were billed as "An Evening With The Grateful Dead". These shows
lasted somewhere around 10 hours, and featured several sets
including the New Riders with Jerry on pedal steel. One of the
sets featured a band called Bobby Ace and the Four Cards From the
Bottom. This was actually the Dead doing country tunes, with
Bobby singing and Jerry on pedal steel.

This is the closest I know of to Bluegrass Dead. I don't
have any tapes, nor do I know the locations or dates of these
shows, but Fillmore East and West are good bets.
