Adrienne should speak for herself.  I know that I would not now be planning
a wedding if the lady in question and myself were not planning to engage in
the great adventure of raising a family.  We're perfectly happy (and slightly
richer) as live-ins.  Legally, life is much simpler for all concerned when
the parents are married.
