I've not run into flow control problems while using the vt220 with CCA
EMACS.  You can set the point at which the vt220 decides to send an XOFF
in the communications setup menu; if you set this to ``No XOFF'' it'll
just hum right along.

(Usenet public spirit over commercial considerations dept.: This also
works with the Unipress/Gosling edition of Emacs.)

(Disclaimer: I personally believe that the DEC vt220 is not a terminal
to be tossed aside lightly.  It should be thrown with great force.)
