> Are all singles lonely?

No. It's married people who draw into their relationship and forsake
old friends, and are lonely together.

> Are we in a transitory state just waiting to get married?

No. It's hard to get married: you have to give up net.singles.

> Are we all hedonists?

Yes. This ain't net.religion.

> Do we all have red 'vettes,

No. Some are not afraid of the unions, and buy good foreign cars
rather than patriotic gas guzzlers.

> condos,

No, there are newer forms of birth control.

> and the latest clothes?

If your clothes are late, you may get arrested for premature exposure.

> Do we only go to swinging singles bars?

No... They just don't build 'em like they used to. It's really hard to
find a bar with swings for one. Now, bars with doubleseat swings, or
bars with no swings...

> Are we all "swinging"?

No... some prefer bed to swings.

> on ANY topic to do with single life.

The best part of single life is not having to spend time relating to a
Signifigant Other, but having all the time you want to flame other
singles in net.singles. Besides, it's so much easier to relate to a
terminal... With real people you can't just hit the "n" key when they
start flaming you.
