In my early days of being a net.single (no, it was before the "net." got on the front), I also had meal algorithms like this. My favorite came off the back of an A-1 steak sauce bottle: Recipe for Steakburger. Just put A-1 on a hamburger, and presto! a steakburger. Well, no, really my favorite was livermush, but alas, they don't make that anywhere outside of Charlotte, NC. However, you had to fry it, and also boil some canned green peas to go with it. However, modern technology being what it is, I have now reduced all meal algorithms to one of two general purpose library subroutines, which I use with great regularity: algorithm_a() { 1) Punch holes in plastic bag. (If you are bored you can skip this step for added excitement.) 2) Put bag in microwave. Cook 5 minutes. } algorithm_b() { 1) Pull off plastic cover. 2) Pull off foil cover; crumple up; throw away. 3) Put plastic cover back on. 4) Put in microwave. Cook for time n, where n=(min_time)+(max_time) * 0.5 from instructions on back of box. } Algorithm_b has the additional benefit that it has no "dish washing coroutine" required, unless you want to save the handy little white frizbees that come with the food. -- Shyy-Anzr: J.
