   1)TARDISes aren't infinite.  (What's 25% of infinity?)
   
   2)The TARDIS doesn't expand itself.  It does, however, regenerate
and reconfigurate (to a small degree) itself.  There are two control rooms for 
convenience or luxury, not because the TARDIS is lazy.
