     I don't know about the rustproof/undercoating, but I do know that the 
paint protection (if it's something like polyglycoat) isn't any better than
a good wax job. Even if you do opt for the paint protection, don't beleive
that you don't need to wax. You should wax at least 4 times a year with
something like "Rain Dance", and use the paste, not the liquid. I had a 
Polyglycoated Scirocco, and the paint faded within 2 years (under the Texas
sun). I foolishly believed the "no wax" hype.
