Besides liking beer, slugs also are extremely fond of margueritas.
The reason they don't flock to them like they do to beer, is that the
salt on the glass kills them. Marguerita aversion must reinforced in their
slimey little genes by now.  Of course, every once in a while a really
stupid slug will try to sneek a sip. It's really awful what happens. They curl
up, turn green, and die.  They sort of resemble lime wedges.
