Texas, Astronomy, Austin, TX Lines: 14 ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Parallels betwen human and (other) animal behaviour are dangerously misleading... It is not relevant that ducks 'rape'.... humans are not sensitive to pheromones, whereas ducks are. This basic chemical difference makes duck copulation (and many other behavioural traits in most other animals) a very poor model for human behaviour. It's no use looking to the Animal Kingdom for excuses for rape.
