if driving a car on a public highway is not a private act, then it can
be argued that walking on a public sidewalk is not a private act.
If walking on a public sidewalk is not a private act then walking on a
public sidewalk talking to someone is not a private act. THEREFORE, if
the govt. can use radar to monitor your car's speed, the govt. can use
electronic evesdropping devices to monitor the conversations that you
conduct while walking down the sidewalk! Now does that sound Constitutional???

I am a firm believer that the govt. will try anything it can to stick its
nose in your business. This radar detector legislation is just another step
in that direction.
