It agrees with Systems III and V, Sun 4.2BSD, and, I believe, 4.3BSD - %X means print an "int" in hex with capital A-F. (Note that if you use %D, put a number followed by something else using a %format, and put your code under SCCS, you get a *big* surprise - %D% gets expanded into the date...) Guy Harris
