*** REPLACE THIS MESS WITH YOUR LINEAGE ***

Well, I don't know if you're out much or not. Several months ago we sent in
one of those redemptions: response = ZIP. One month ago we sent in another
on a different Mac. Response = 1 MacProject, 0 MacDraw. Our Apple field
office counsels patience. Personally, I'm beginning to believe that MacDraw
is vaporware, and Apple's committment to their promises isn't much less
ethereal either. However, we would have purchased the 512K upgrade even
without the MacProject/Draw teaser, so we're ahead so far one free MacProject
and potentially a MacDraw whenever Apple gets around to it.

One side comment about Apple's business practices. It's nice to see a company
that is not bureaucratically paperbound, but this is ridiculous! I have a
home Mac; the only way I can prove date of purchase is to go back to my dealer!
The redemption coupon thing asks you to send in proof of purchase from an
"authorized Apple representative," but it can be difficult to track that. And
then once you've sent in the coupon (with your distribution system disk) there's
no proof that you've done that! Next time I deal with Apple, it will be by
registered mail - once burned twice shy.
