I watched part (most of the third and some of the fourth quarters) of the 49er - Bronco game last night. I was very surprised that Elway played well into the third qtr. In fact it seemed that both teams used more of their regulars longer than usual for only the second preseason game. Anybody have any theories as to why? Peter B
