I would like to get information on the expert system building tools,
available to universities, that cost less than about $2000 or so
(preferably free, of course). The target machines would be any of
the following: the TI Explorer, Symbolics lisp machine, Xerox Dandelion,
SUN or VAX running Franz Lisp under Unix. I'm interested in how they
can be acquired, as well as in evaluations on how good they are for
what kinds of applications. I'd appreciate any pointers.
