The answer, we may now conclude, is that up to "Logopolis,"
the credits said, "Doctor Who."  Then, during "Logopolis,"
Peter Davison was indeed listed as "Doctor Who," but Tom
Baker as "The Doctor."  Then, from Castrovalva on, it
was always "The Doctor."
