My brother, during an alcoholiday in Minnesota, developed a method of mixing Rum and Pepsi, the results of which I found quite tasty, and would dare recommend even to the readers of this newsgroup loyal to the beverage whose consumers would like to teach the world to sing in perfect harmony. First, locate a bubbling, rushing stream, pure and free of pollutants. Easier done in Minnesota than Massachusetts, believe me. Take a twelve ounce can of Pepsi and open it according to the instructions printed or embossed thereupon, and expel its contents into the stream. Now drive or canoe one mile downstream and refill the can with the Pepsi, which has now been diluted to the proper consistency. Return chez vous and pour the Pepsi into an ice-cube tray and freeze. After several hours, take a tall glass and fill with the Pepsi cubes to chill. Then pour out the Pepsi cubes and fill the glass with rum. My brother used Myers' for the original concoction, because he somehow got the idea that ``Ron Bacardi'' was the founder of the Church of Scientology but that's another story (and another newsgroup). Cheers. -- -- Joseph Chapman decvax!cca!emacs!joe CCA Uniworks, Inc. emacs!joe@cca-unix.ARPA 20 William St. Wellesley, MA 02181 (617) 235-2600
