Summary: I flame a bit

I'm not gonna respect myself in the morning but...
		   ********************************

I think color analysis sux because it is an artificial means to a
sterile and uninteresting goal. It has no flavor of living, of doing
things, of tasting or feeling or breathing or laughing or sweating or
fighting or running or love or anger or good sex or anything
worthwhile. Just a method of choosing one's clothes, makeup, and
glass eyes to learn to pay good money in order to produce a transitory
aesthetic effect IN SOMEONE ELSE'S EYES, not even one's own,
ferchrissake. Worse still, the effect is at least partially dependent
on the observer's knowing color analysis too. How incestuously
narcissistic. Or can you use it for esthetic onanism? Do they train
you to admire yourselves in mirrors or something?

[Maybe I'm wrong and it helps you meet MOTASes in dimly-lit dance
bars, laundromats and other romantic locations. "Hi, I'm stuffy and
stuck-up, and I notice by your nail polish that you are too. Let's
fuck." Yow!]

Primarily, it is training for showing off to the class of people
impressed by showoffs: Douglas Adams had it dead right in _the_
_Restaurant_ _at_ _the_ _End_ _of_ _The_ _Universe_, when he talked
about some disgusting canapes which were hideously expensive, and sold
terrifically well because they were a great way for rich idiots to
impress other rich idiots with how much they were willing to spend to
impress them.

Nobody says you have to do "useful" things in your spare time, but
this is consciously distasteful, crude and shameless. It is a
manifestation of cosmic ennui, and a demonstration that you just don't
care about real things. Frankly, I have some difficulty imagining a
rich and meaningful interaction with someone who can't ALWAYS find
something better to do with {his or her} leisure hours. [I probably
justed screwed up my chances on net.quick-pickups this weekend.]

Pooh is right on! Stick to your guns, kid.
