A long time ago I saw in a Scientific American magazine a collection
of "per-verbs," perverted proverbs.  I can only remember three:

"Virtue is its only reward."

"One man's Mede is another man's Persian."

"Now is the time for all good men to come to."


Anyone remember any others?
