I'm posting because "tektronix" said there's not such machine as
"tekred", so I can't mail direct to you.
Thanks for answering. I'm a little confused, tho':
When you wrote "...learn to jib," did you  mean "jibe" or
is there a new maneuver in boardsailing?
My confusion is basically that , of course, a jibe is not practical
when heading upwind. Not to belabor the point, but I'm interested in
the mechanics of tacking speed because to some extent the same things (drag,
stability,etc) affect any turn.
