That sounds a little judgemental to me.  And a little naive'.

Hostility has other causes too.  Empty displays of love and affection
can also create more pain and hate then they solve.  Sometimes what you
put out is NOT returned and many who envision a better world are often
cruelly disapointed.

They key is first UNDERSTANDING...
