Thanks for the responses. (my mailer croaked on trying to
answer you all)

Many suggested that the distributer advance was sticking. I'll
definately check it out, as so far everything else seems to check.

for those who asked.

'69 was the last year for chevy factory 6 packs. the vette has a
vacuum action on the seconaries with a mechanical safety link to
be sure that they shut off. I haven't played arround with different
diaphram springs (which regulate how soon the secondaries come
in), I put in the second heaviest spring and they seem good (no
bog, just zoom.) I can tell when they come in because of the
noise, and yes, this car is fast.
