Folks,
I've been getting various replies from my query on the net about the
8/300. It boils down to two things.

	1) Imagen sells the software to use ditroff on the 8/300. It is
called DIMP, cost $1000, and there is no educational discount on software.

	2) I got a call from a guy at Imagen who has been talking to people
at AT&T. From what he's heard, AT&T will be coming out with a new release
of the Documenter's Workbench (ditroff and its paraphenalia) sometime around
September. At that time, it will have support for the 8/300. So if we can
arrange to get that software from AT&T, that may be the way to go. (I
personnally would consider this 'rumor'; it needs looking into before I'd
depend on it.)

Meanwhile, we'll have to make do with what we've got now.

Arnold
