Actually, it's not really that difficult to merge the entire Berkeley IPC
system into System V.  We at Stride Micro have done just that, and have
TCP/IP running on top of the Corvus Omninet.  The only thing that isn't
implemented is select(), which requires more thought.  select() isn't
really part of the IPC, but most of the BSD servers seem to use it.
