I know that I posted something about this before, but I'm
intrigued. Is the general concensus out there that living alone is
unnatural, or at the very least, not preferable? I lived with two men
last year (in a three bedroom apt. - nothing kinky). They are both good
friends, but I do prefer living alone. I do like people, and I like
having people around, but I do prefer to have my own place. What's more,
I plan on living alone, barring financial necessity to do otherwise, for
a long long time. Does anyone think this is "unnatural"? I mean, does
anyone out there think that it is really abnormal to not want to get
married, or live with anyone ever? And if so, then why? I don't have any
qualms about marriage in general, but why does society seem to view
someone who has never married/lived with someone as being possibly, "not
emotionally well" or at the very least, deprived? Most of the people
that I know want to get married someday. I, on the other hand, would be
most happy living alone all the time. Now, sleeping alone all the time
is a different story...
