Boy is this a subject that I know about!! I have more net.penpals
than is probably healthy. (Not that I'm complaining mind you.) I've gone
out with three people that I met through the net. We all live in
Portland, but they work at Tektronix, I work at Reed. One of them I'm
starting to date somewhat frequently. (Considering how much time each of
us has.) It's obviously much more difficult to date people who are
farther away (different cities, states, or countries.) But I have
received roses from a net friend in Chicago (Hi Sweety!), and chances
are good that I'll have a place to crash when I go to NYC this New
Years, thanks to another net friend. I've found the net to be fantastic
for meeting people.
