There's something we don't know about the situation: are they unaware that
they're "broadcasting", or aware but don't care?  If they're unaware, then
the suggestions that have been posted about making some sort of noise yourself
make eminent sense, from another angle:  if they realize that they can hear
your record/TV/reading-aloud-to-yourself even at moderate volume, then they
can reason back to the fact that they are also being overheard.  -And 
presumably will keep it quieter, unless they just don't care.
	(This strategy involves playing your records, etc, at times when
they're there but not busy at play.)
