Depends upon what type of car you want to restore, but if it's English,
there are a number of magazines that might help:

Practical Classics This magazine is geared towards the
PPG Publishing Ltd. do-it-yourselfer.
Kelsey House
77 High Street Cost is 16.50 pounds/year
Beckenham Kent BR3 1AN
tel. 01-658-3531

Classic and Sportscar This one has a lot more driving
Haymarket Publishing Ltd. impressions in it of the classic
12-14 Ansdell Street English cars.
London W8, England
US subscriptions to: Cost is $39.50 US/year
Eric Waiter
Gleneagles Drive
New Vernon, New Jersey 07976

Thoroughbred and Classic Cars This one is a mix between
Business Press International Ltd. the other two.
Quadrant House
Sutton, Surrey SM2 5As, England Cost is $35.00 US/year
US subscriptions to:
Publications Expediting Inc
200 Meacham Ave
Elmont, New York 11003

All of these rags contain lots of ads for parts from English companies.
Typically, one finds a 25% savings on parts (over buying in the US),
including shipping. They all take VISA and phone orders too!

I picked up initial copies of these magazines in a place called
Magazine City in Seattle. I suspect there is a store like it in every
major city in the US.
