For several months we have been running the Berkeley PASCAL interpreter
(pi/px/pix) on our Perkin-Elmer 3220 under Edition VII (v7 with some 4.1
enhancements).

In a short time, we will be getting another P-E machine which will be
running System V release 2. Because of various commitments, we must run the
Berkeley PASCAL for our classes this fall.

Having conferred with a few of the local P-E people, I have gotten the
impression that no one has attempted to port the compiler and interpreter
to Systen V. It appears, therefore, that we will have to do the work
ourselves.

Since the interpreter dates back to 4.1 BSD, I was wondering......

Has anyone on any system tried to port Berkeley PASCAL to System V? If so,
what problems did you run into?

Any hints, advice, context diffs, etc. will be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.
