Having been on the top of this ladder for a year I have not been
able to challenge anyone. In fact dvs was the only challenge I have made
in the history of this ladder.

To stimulate the top of the net, (and for my own practice)
I will make the following challenge:

Of all the players responding to this offer before Sat 8/31/85
I will play the top 9 ranked players (using the ladder at that time) with
the following condition:

If you want to play white then:

		1. e2-e4	e7-e6

	Otherwise:

		1. c2-c4.

In other words I will open all my games with the English unless you are
willing to play against the French.
----------
This cannot be worse than playing in two sections of the USCF Golden
Knights Semifinals while finishing 2 games from the preliminary sections.

Particulars:

	USCF rating: 2066
	USCF postal: 1518
	Achivements: Beat a 2481 in a 5-minute game.
