I do not know whether this newwgroup is really the appropriate
place to ask the following, but I am giving it a try. My applolgies
if I should have posted to another (but which?).

I am interested to know about the experiences of any who are
currently users of the ATT 3b5. I would like to know your thoughts
pro and/or con about its capablities. How much memory, how fast,
it is appropriate for doing scientific number crunching,
does it have enough languages (f77 and C, at least, is the f77
any good?), how many users before it boggs down, how easy is it
to communicate with another non-ATT machine such as a vax 11/785
running 4.2bsd????

Secondly, are there any owners of the 3b15 out there? If so,
can you respond to the same 'questions' outlined above?

Thanks very much for any comments. I am currently trying to
sort out the properties of the 3b5,3b15 and would really appreciate
any informal remarks you can give.
