After a hard day of fighting fires, crashed networks, clogged networks, irate users, obfuscated software and hardware bugs ... etc... one finds oneself in desperate need of a good chuckle or the occasional guffaw. One would not usually think of a network as the place to find the necessary release. Although I do get VERY useful information from the tcp-ip@sri-nic mailing list (thank you), I wish to thank those that have it for their sense of humor and proportion. These are good things to have when dealing with computers (most of whom don't have either a sense of humor or a sense of proportion) and users (many of which suffer similar complaints).
