Hartford, CT Lines: 13 Summary: What kind of matter went into a black hole doesn't matter to those *outside* the black hold. If you happen to be *inside* the black hold, it's a different matter entirely. You interact normally with the matter in the black hole, as you fall inexorably toward the center. You never actually get to the center, because it's infinitely far away. However, as you fall, the gravity increases, until eventually it is strong enough to rip the elementary particles apart. The size of the black hole affects only how long this takes. If the universe is the inside of a black hole, it is in a very early stage of collapse. Wierd, isn't it?
