I've been very concerned about the regulatoryt solutions to pornography
that have been bandied about. They all have the problem that the amount to
limiting freedom of expressions. What I've wondered is what would be the effect of simply not giving pornographers protection under copywrite laws?

I have the feeling that if such photos, tapes and books could be copied
freely, there
would be little way anyone could make a profit from them.

This would get around the free speech issue, but someone would still have to decide what publications to give copywrite protection to.
