Even if you do opt for the paint protection, don't beleive that you don't need to wax. You should wax at least 4 times a year with something like "Rain Dance", and use the paste, not the liquid. I had a Polyglycoated Scirocco, and the paint faded within 2 years (under the Texas sun). I foolishly believed the "no wax" hype. E. Muroga
