Command-Shift-3 takes a "snapshot" of the screen and puts it into a document named Screen 0 (or Screen 1, etc. etc. up to Screen 9). With Command-Shift 4, you can print the active window immediately, or if Caps Lock is down, print the entire screen immediately.
