Our WWVB clock suddenly went berserk and started handing out timestamps eight hour off. I discovered that on Saturday morning and resynchronized DCN-GATEWAY to the GOES radio clock in Dearborn, MI. I'll kick the WWVB clock on Monday. Meanwhile, subtract 38 milliseconds from all timestamps handed out by DCN-GATEWAY. See the July issue of the ACM Operating System Review for suggestions on how to tell the good guys from the bad in a clique of clockwatchers. The invitation to expand the set of good guys in our timetelling community remains open. Dave -------
