I think that if I managed a team with an ambidextrous pitcher, I would still
let him use either arm even if he wasn't allowed to switch gloves.  He could
for instance, bring out the glove for his left hand when pitching to a lineup
that consisted more of righthanded batters, and, when the lefthanded batters
would come up, he would perch the glove on his right hand.  It would be more
difficult to field, but not to the extent that it would even out his 
advantage to pitch lefthanded to lefty batters and righthanded to righty 
batters.
