Pressing him further I found he was unsure of the correct procedure. Clearly % postnews mybizarrearticle > /dev/null gives expected but unsatifactory results. It's full, anyway. How about that the informational content was so small that the posting imploded into a black hole which is sitting out in the midwest somewhere? Maybe not. So I think that what is missing is the proper amount of ENCOURAGEMENT! So I propose we all send Alex our best wishes and worst thoughts. He loves mail, suggestions, and flames. He can be reached thru this here very news group or for the more personal heartfelt message at: Alex Cannon: awc%bu-cs@csnet-relay or ccac@bostonu Come Alex!! You can do it! That right, it's called a keyboard, it won't bite [much]. =8-} "Photon torpedoes locked on target, Captain." -- =============================================================================== Joe Szep Boston University Academic Computing Center UUCP: ...!harvard!bu-cs!jts ARPA: jts%bu-cs.csnet@csnet-relay.arpa Pony Express: 111 Cummington St. Boston, Ma. 02215 617-353-2780 ===============================================================================
