Message-ID: <10109@ucbvax.ARPA> Date: Thu, 22-Aug-85 14:24:59 EDT Article-I.D.: ucbvax.10109 Posted: Thu Aug 22 14:24:59 1985 Date-Received: Sun, 25-Aug-85 04:21:03 EDT Sender: daemon@ucbvax.ARPA Organization: University of California at Berkeley Lines: 35 From: baker@JPL-VLSI.ARPA History: I work on a project hat will be furnishing the army with vax computer systems with a useable lifetime of about 5 to 10 years. In order to keep all systems comaptable and to allow hardware progression to BI and other technology I need to receive copies of DECs ECO (Engineering Change Orders) and FCO (Field Change Orders). Everyone I talk to at DEC agrees that theese are available on micro-fiche, for a price. The VAXen we are buying are being supplied by a OEM that ruggedizes them to meet the Army environmental specs and adds some special periphials to theese systems. The vendor is Ok at keeping us up on there changes and work. Question: Does anyone out there know the part numbers, or who to contact at DEC to obtain this information. Our normal sales route and the GSG (Government Systems Group) at DEC have been "playing around" with this problem for 6 months and still no answer, not even a wrong one. Thanks in advance for the help. Donald I. Baker Baker@JPL-VLSI Commercial (818) 354-6823 FTS 792-6823
