Summary: who cares who's taller?

Well, first of all, the average height for adult males in North
America is somewhere around 5'10" or 5'11" (anyone have exact
figures for mean and standard deviation?), so about one-half
of the men are going to be equal or shorter than you in height.

Why do men like women that are taller than they are? Why shouldn't
they? Why do you like men to be taller than you are? WHO CARES?
I don't worry about whether my date is shorter or taller than I
am. Most of them happen to have been shorter, but I barely notice,
much less care if she happens to be taller. If the difference
were three or four feet it might be a consideration, but as long
as it's less than a foot or so, who cares?

(and what's with the heels fetish? They're hard on the back/legs,
more difficult to stand/walk/run in, and unattractive (at least
to this beagle's eyes))

Adam was a man who thought he was a loner,
'till he met a friend named Eve.
Don't ya know they had a good thing goin',
till they picked an apple off that tree.
Put it back!
Put it back!
Put it back where it once belonged.

A prize (yet to be determined, but not to worry, I'll think of something)
to the first person to correctly identify the composer of these alternate
lyrics. And of course, apologies to the Beatles.
