I haven't previously contributed to new.women, being heretofore content (despite my interest in the subject) to let others flame each other. However, I couldn't resist jumping into the fire with this one. Just what group do you think it is that supports most of the violent, sexist, trashy films and other ``art having a story'' that you criticize? Why it's the *kids* -- teenagers, young adults mostly under that magic age of 30 -- who are the bulk of moviegoers! This age group dominates the field so thoroughly with their numbers that most movies produced cater to their ``tastes.'' Why don't you ask your peers -- since being under 30, they supposedly haven't had their brains turned off yet -- why *they* don't organize their own entertainment instead of trotting off to see the latest sequel to *Porky*. -- Michael McNeil
