No one asked seemed to know the answer to this so I thought I'd give the net
a try.

Does anyone know why "Soft Parachutes", a Paul Simon song from the movie One
Trick Pony, was not put on the One Trick Pony album? Everyone made such a
big deal about it in the movie; I was very surprised not to find it on the
tape after I bought it. Someone suggested that it was because of the song's
anti-Vietnam War theme but I find this hard to believe.
