I would like to recommend Infocom's "Wishbringer" interactive
fiction to those of you who like computer adventure games.
This is an all-text, not very difficult adventure that is meant
as an introduction to this type of game (the stock number makes
Wishbringer part 0 of Zork).

This is the best STORY that Infocom has yet published. You
play the part of a postal clerk whose initial errand leads
into an bewitched world. There is a magic stone that grants
(non-renewable) wishes, but it is possible to win the game
without using any wishes. You get to interact with a variety
of characters, beasts, and enchanted objects.

P.S. It took me two evenings to win the game, but I only
got something like 89 out of 100 possible points. Anyone
have any hints concerning where the hard-to-find points are?
My hint booklet hasn't arrived yet.
