Part of the reason that Coke (and others) changed to high fructose
corn syrup is that the price of sugar in the U.S. is held artificially
high when compared to the world market.  If Coke drinkers are
really concerned they should actively lobby Washington to change
it's policies.  (Perhaps we can get the other ruinous agricultural
subsidies eliminated too).
