Here in the great Pacific Northwest, in the foothills of the cascades, the slugs grow to six inches or more! A few ways to get rid of slugs: Salt - Forget it, it just makes a mess (but fun to watch; "hee hee"). Eggshells - Where am I supposed to get that many shells?
