I think living alone is lonely... but not unnatural.  Some people do
well living alone.  I do very nicely thank you all by myself although
the companionship of an SO is sometimes preferable.  Sometimes I have
to be alone.  But anyway I think living with someone else is preferable
to spending your entire life as a Maytag Repairman,

The sound of love-making by those next-door has always made me think
"God is sex THE most ridiculous act that two sentient creatures can
perform together." Always brings a smile to my face.  Especially if
they're reasonably clumsy or kinky about it.

Crickets are make more subtle and soothing noises anyway.

I like the waves breaking on the beach... the moon... and your eyes.
