Sales literature? A picture ad from Bicycling magazine from that time? A receipt for purchase of such a bike, showing its serial number? I have a 1973 Centurion Super Lemans bicycle with a defective frame. Centurion refuses to honor their lifetime warranty on the frame, claiming that my bike is not a Centurion! They claim they never sold a bike with lugs like mine, and that the serial number is too short to be valid (it is a letter followed by 3 digits). The shop where I bought the bike has long since gone out of business. Anything you can do to help me substantiate my claim would be greatly appreciated. I hate being called a liar, and I hate being cheated. --Gordon Hamachi
