Unless they have radically modified their circuitry, a rash of Radio Shack detectors on the road will do more to stop people from using their radar detectors than a ban will. Radio Shack detectors spew out so much microwave energy that Whistler and CM have had to incorperate special filters specifically to avoid false alarms from these menaces. Even if Radio Shack has cleaned up its act, I would still not buy their detector.
