To anyone interested, I hear that I am about to receive my CD player which
was ordered back in May. I am intrigued by a warning I received: Things
can go wrong if I don't keep the machine level when dealing with the
set screw mechanism (after unpacking it). I will receive the beast within
the next few days, so I guess I'll find out the exact procedure, but
I hear that the manual says nothing about keeping the machine level.
Does anyone have any experience/expertise to share in the unpacking
of a CD player? Thanks.

I'm too busy reading other people's cute quotes to think of any of my own.
