The reason I hate to mention this is that I happen to enjoy my 1 or
2 beers during my 45-minute drive home from work.  Now, if I am stopped
I won't get a ticket for drunken driving because I am not legally drunk
by quite a bit; but I will get a ticket for having an open container in
the car...

Well, now, that depends--you see, it's like this:  all the reports I 
have read concerning "breathalizer" (sp?) tests show that if you've had 
even ONE beer within 30 minutes of the test, you will show in excess of 
.10 -- which is drunk in most states.  This is the reason many of the 
states that once used the "breathalizer" have stopped (they kept losing 
in court)...
