I think living alone is lonely... but not unnatural. Some people do well living alone. I do very nicely thank you all by myself although the companionship of an SO is sometimes preferable. Sometimes I have to be alone. But anyway I think living with someone else is preferable to spending your entire life as a Maytag Repairman, >> It is a shame that todays expensive housing forces one to find roomates. >> I think that 'cat in the dryer' sex should continue and as such I am >> pissed that housing problems lead to friction. > > Maybe we're just too sensitive. Why should sex noises bother us more than > crickets? The sound of love-making by those next-door has always made me think "God is sex THE most ridiculous act that two sentient creatures can perform together." Always brings a smile to my face. Especially if they're reasonably clumsy or kinky about it. Crickets are make more subtle and soothing noises anyway.
