(Actually, i think he found the documentation on the blit, but it was close enough ) This person said he needed it in order to teach machine language programming using 3b2s. Well, we are considering the same thing here, and need some help from the net: 1) documentation on the instruction set 2) a good macro-assembler, anyone? (If there is a need, a friend of mine might write one). 3) What do you think of the idea? How many students would you put on a 3b2/300 or /400 at one time, running Sys V, using vi, but all the programming in assembler? 4) Ideas, comments, suggesstions, etc. PLEASE! send mail, i will summarize to the net if people are interested. thanks, david -- david parter UWisc Systems Lab ...!{allegra,harvard,ihnp4,seismo}!uwvax!david david@wisc-rsch.arpa
