/* ---------- "cd mail-order houses???" ---------- */

i have been ordering hard-to-get cd's
from tower record's in n.y.c. they have
an 800 number and ship the same day if
in stock. [...]
are there any other cd mail-order houses
that respond as quickly at lower prices?
[...]
p.s. local prices are about $12.99 to
     14.99 each.

I'd like to know how to get in touch with Tower Records. What IS the 800
number? Do they publish a catalog?

I'm finding approximately the same price range in the Boston area as what
you find, excluding sales. But I'd rather not waste time looking all over
for a cd, so I might pay a dollar more if I could have the convienience of
mail-order. Of course, I wouldn't mind paying a dollar less, either...
