"Oh all you people who are into fashion and color analysis are all vain and totally wrapped up in yourself. Now, I would never stoop so low. I use my time more productively. I read or play chess when I have to waste some time. And I don't waste my money. I send it to Africa." You're all a bunch of damn ascetics! None of you appreciate the time it takes to pick out nice clothes and mix colors pleasingly. And looking at how some people dress around here, I'm pretty sure they don't take any time figuring out what goes with what. I have to admit that computer types are some of the worst dressed people I've ever seen! If you want to look that way, fine. But don't go telling us what we think or putting words in our mouths about WHY the rest of us like to dress well. You obviously don't appreciate the differences of color and form. Maybe we should all dress alike. Then we wouldn't have to spend any money above a bare minimum for clothes. Would be a pretty boring place if everyone wore the same thing! A heck of a lot of people like to dress well. And they spend a lot of money doing it. And color analysis means they have to spend less money on clothes in the long run. It means they have to spend less time picking out clothes. And though you may find this very hard to believe, there are a lot of people out there who have to dress well. Their jobs dictate it! My mother is a hostess in a nice restaurant. She wants to present a classy image of herself, which is a reflection on the restaurant. And since she works, she doesn't have hours to spend shopping for clothes. Now she sticks to her colors and gets what she wants. All you computer people working in your little offices where no one gives a damn what you wear - you really have it good! I hope you never have to deal with outside customers. As horrible as it may seem, people are judged by their looks out in the real world. And what you wear makes a big difference. For the record I love clothes. I love the different colors and the textures. I have spent a lot of money on clothes because I like to buy attractive things that I can wear. I am vain! I like to look good. I am not obsessive. I don't feel I have to wear makeup to play softball. And I'm bloody sick and tired of hearing how I am wasting my time and my money. I'm not going to be ashamed of something I enjoy. I'm not going to sit around and listen to you rag on me and a lot of people I know. You're going to have to fight it out with me! Sharon Badian ihnp4!mtgzz!seb
