I have difficulty following the logic (constructive or classical :-)) in
this note. Running this through a simple filter would produce:
[note to avoid mistaken impression - this is not true of me at all]

Hmmm, I suppose this is true, but I have generally found that women PREFER to
be the one making the moves. It just so happens that I am a somewhat
aggressive male, and many of the women I know and/or have pursued find me
intimidating. (I have been told about this directly by close female friends.)
I know a lot of women claim to want men to make the first move, but in
practice I find it disturbs many of them. (Of course, some of them think
it's wonderful!)

What both of these paragraphs boil down to is that when you are aggressive,
you take a chance on being rejected, whether you're male or female. We see
immediately that there's nothing wrong with a woman rejecting the advances
made by a man she doesn't like. It should be just as obvious that if a
male says he'd like women to be aggressive more often, this doesn't mean
he will or should accept all the advances made by women.

I guess for singles, heaven and hell could be combined. You never get
rejected, but you're not allowed to reject anyone yourself :-).

Just because it's a preconceived notion doesn't mean it's wrong!
