If MacTerminal really does emulate a vt100, then there is no real line
delete command.  The vt100 uses scrolling regions which can give the
effect of a line delete sort of.

Make sure your vi is set up right.  I am useing vi right now on a Mac with
MacTerminal and the standard vt100 termcap and I just watched a line
be sucked out of the middle of the screen
