Message-ID: <731@mcvax.UUCP> Date: Mon, 1-Jul-85 14:23:46 EDT Article-I.D.: mcvax.731 Posted: Mon Jul 1 14:23:46 1985 Date-Received: Fri, 5-Jul-85 03:56:07 EDT Reply-To: frankk@mcvax.UUCP (Frank Kuiper) Organization: CWI, Amsterdam Lines: 26 I have the following question: I guess about a month ago someone posted a picture of an icecream, which he said was a digitized photo, in MacPaint format. I would like to know if this is really possible and specially HOW that was done. Our purpose is to do statistical messurements on electron-microscope pictures of molecules. This would also meen that we want to be able to get the pictures in such a format that we could look at them on the screen and do calculations and transformations on the screen image or a file representing that image. If digitizing to a MacPaint document is possible, then we would also like to have a description of the MacPaint format. I'll summarize responses (if any). Thanks in advance, -- Frank ___ _][__| | Frank Kuiper, CWI, Amsterdam. <_______|-1 ...{decvax,philabs,seismo,okstate,garfield}!mcvax!frankk O-O-O
