I'll bet you're really Jeff Sargent reborn... > This seems to happen regularly. There was one rabbit!jj (I think?) a couple of years ago who stirred up quite a rucus. And now Alex and Scott. Some people are just that way ... luckily the're pretty easy to ignore, once you know who they are. I must admit, though, that it does make for more interesting reading than the drivel that goes on in net.politics or religion (to an apolitical agnostic, anyway). Still, it's kind of a shame that this newsgroup has so little apparent worth to the casual observer. What the SA's need to realize, though, is that the need to flame (or freedom to flame) in one's own way may do some good. I am sure Scott and Alex feel some sort of sick gratification after a good flame ... and who knows, perhaps this keeps them from doing other things they might otherwise feel compelled to do, like say spread peanut butter on disk drives or abuse their fellow users (perhaps I assume too much here). Well, I see my time in net.flame is over; I have only been given an hour to read and write. Perhaps I have learned something here, and have not yet come to realize it. Then again, perhaps not. It can be a fun place to visit, but I'm glad I don't come here often. Until next time, remain in the light ... -- jad -- "Sometimes the light's all shinin' on me; Other times I can barely see. 20 Years, Lately it occurs to me So Far... What a long, strange trip it's been."
