Yes.  It might be, for instance, that you would get more enjoyment
from buying, say, a CDP-302 for $300 and spending the extra grand
on discs.  I think the main differences between a 302 and a 605
are price and features.

I'm sure I wouldn't be able to hear the difference between them.
I'll bet you wouldn't, either.
