Go to your local newsstand and buy almost any European paper, right-wing
or left-wing, and then see if you could repeat that comment in good
conscience.  It seems to be the one issue that unites all parties and
all countries (EXCEPT for their governments, who have to keep on good
terms with Reagan).  Most Europeans might not agree with the Sandanistas
as to their ideologies, but they seem to have tremendous sympathy for
them on account of what the Reagan administration is doing to Nicaragua.
