Summary: 

If I remember correctly, Georgia is one of many states that has both
a "DUI" and a "DWI".  That is, if your blood alcohol is high enough and
you're stopped, you get hit with a driving while intoxicated (at least).
Meanwhile, if you are stopped and your blood alcohol is just .1
below the limit, or you've been doing drugs of another sort, they
can still get you for driving while impaired (DWI).

BTW, I just heard an interesting story about an acquaintance who
was stopped last year leaving a party with a blood alcohol level
of 0.33 -- and he hadn't been drinking for a while before he left.
The police watched him for about 5 minutes as he attempted to
find his way out of the parking lot of the hotel where he was...
and when his front tires hit the public roads, they arrested him.
