Thanks for your brilliant comments Mark.  Show your posting to the
National Enquirer and maybe you'll be able to get a job as a columnist.

I'm not trying to absolve myself from guilt.  I CHANGED THE FOLLOWUP
LINES!  And of course, I can't undo what I did.  (I'm assuming, of course
that it is too late to cancel the offending articles.)  But I did apologize.
And like it or not, pal, that's all I can do about it.  Perhaps you'd
perfer it if I hadn't apologized, and kept on changing the followup lines.
Maybe you'd be happier if I changed my "Reply-To:" line to your account?

I didn't say my action was bright, but I did apologize for it.
If that's not good enough for you then that's just too bad, isn't it?
I'm not going to lose any sleep over it.
