Hartford, CT Lines: 26 Summary: * I bought the Extend-a-slot from SCRG. When I tried it with a PCPI Applicard and tried to boot CP/M it did not work. I then tried it with a Videx Ultra- term and got occasional bad stuff on the screen. I called SCRG and spoke to one of the most reasonable and helpful people I've ever dealt with at a com- pany. He explained that the Extend-a-slot is not recommended for coprocessor cards and some others add-ons. I have not tried it with any other cards, and obviously its length creates too much noise for some card functions. But just on the quality of the response I got (he said I could return it for a complete refund if I wanted), I highly recommend the company. I don't know how long the Apple bus can be extended from a slot, but I see no reason not to try any of their other products. You may be limited as to what cards you can use though.
