It may ^^^^^^^^^^ I thought I'd read every piece of fiction she ever wrote, but perhaps I'm wrong. Are you referring to ANTHEM? Also, her point in the rough love-making is her creed that 'I live my life for no one and ask no one to live for me.' (not an exact quote). I see this as excluding tenderness and giving of pleasure to the other person; rather, it's taking--exactly what is seen in THE FOUNTAINHEAD.
