Well, now, the 4700s have been obsolete for something like 4 or 5 years, so
it's kind of pointless to be complaining about that... the new PAIAs use
the Curtis ICs instead. (Though I do have a 4700 myself, which I like just
fine).  I mean, the 4700s even required that strange "equally-tempered
DAC", which did have some problems.

I haven't bought one of those Korg Poly-800s you mentioned (yet), although
I have been thinking about it.  Nevertheless, I don't expect to be able
to modify and enhance it the way I can with the PAIAs.
