Summary: 

On the TV show, THRUSH didn't stand for anything.  However, in the mythos
invented by Dean Dickensheet (and used in the novels of David McDaniel),
it stood for The Technological Hierarchy for the Removal of Undesirables
and the Subjugation of Humanity.  (See THE DAGGER AFFAIR for THRUSH's
history.)
