Perhaps I should explain my motivation; I wrote an SMTP server running on the given machine (which is actually on the MIT Sloan School Ethernet, not project Athena's) and I want to test it out. Specifically, I want to test it with other people's SMTP senders. Unfortunately, Sloan.MIT.EDU (as it will be called) is not yet in any host table, so I can't just mail to myself. If anyone can suggest a way to tickle sendmail on a BSD 4.2 machine, please post me. If anyone can do this on there machine, I invite you to mail to kevin@Sloan.MIT.EDU, aka 18.56.0.4. (Note: the server is still 1) slow 2) buggy 3) only running part time; so don't be surprised if it's not all there.) Please send comments, suggestions for changes, etc. to me, either there or to kevin@harvard. -- Kevin Crowston UUCP: {seismo,ut-sally}!harvard!kevin MIT Sloan School of Management ARPA: kevin@harvard.ARPA
