In the manual for sleep, it states:

SLEEP(1)         Waterloo UNIX Programmer's Manual       SLEEP(1)

BUGS (You call this a bug?!)
     Time must be less than 2,147,483,647 seconds.

This calculates to approximately 68 years!!!! Now we'll have a new type of
process... run, sleep, stop and RVW  -  Rip Van Winkle.
Oh...and don't forget the 'undead' processes: zombies.
