Lines: 46 ********* Well, as far as the actors in Star Trek appearing as regulars in other shows, let's see now... 1) Vic Tayback (sp?), as Joe Cracko in 'A Piece of the Action', later starred in 'Alice.' 2) Ricardo Montalban starred in 'Fantasy Island.' 3) Oh course, William Shatner stars in T. J. Hooker. 4) Leonard Nimoy did the voice-overs and administrivia for 'In Search Of'. Also, he starred in 'Mission Impossible' as Paris (pre-Martin Landau). 5) As mentioned, Joan Collins in 'Dynasty.' 6) Wasn't Jill Ireland, from 'This Side of Paradise' in a series a few years back? A detective show of some sort? 7) Lee Meriwether ('I am for you, James Kirk') starred in Barnaby Jones. 8) This may be stretching it, but is the admiral Kirk faces in STIII the Mayor of 'Chicago' in Hill Street Blues? (I don't know any of the names, but the haziness makes them appear to be one and the same). 9) Finally, Merrit Buttrick (sp?), aka Dr. David Marcus, also played Johnny Slash in 'Square Pegs.' 10) I knew there was one other. James Doohan played the Commander of the Academy in 'Jason of Star Command.' There! How's that? ps-I know she wasn't in any series, but I still get a kick out of the fact that Terri Garr (sp, once again) appeared early on in her career in 'Assignment: Earth' as Roberta Lincoln. The Episode was supposed to have been a pilot for a spinoff of ST, but it didn't materialize :-) -- Jonathan D.
