In Version 1.0 Old Empire, in addition to the bugs indicated in a previous article, there's another one in the file chec.c . This is yet another piece of fallout from the printf conversion and setbuf removal done right before distribution. Sorry for the inconvenience. Right after the prompt for checkpoint code, there should be a fflush(stdout). Without the flush, the user has no idea that the game is waiting for the code. About a half dozen tapes have been sent out, and several packages sent in other ways. Bugs continue to be found and fixed, so Version 1.1 should be even better. Tom Fisher (303)538-4642
