Optical Astronomy Observatories, Tucson, AZ USA Lines: 20 [======================================================] Has anyone had any experience using any of the multitude of VT100 and Tektronix emulators (=VT640) on the market? 1. How well do they work at 9600 baud (or faster)? 2. Do they support macro key definitions and DOS command calls? 3. Do they provide several screens of buffering to recall previous text? 4. How are upload/download facilities? 5. Is cross-hair control adequate (slow and fast movements available)? 6. Do thery work without changes to user software? Thanks in advance for any suggestions. Please mail any comments and a summary of responses will be posted. George Jacoby Kitt Peak National Observatory ihnp4!noao!jacoby (602) 325-9292
