The Queen song with the starship is called "'39". It's
on "A Night at the Opera". A beautiful song too... The
story comes through with a nice touch of subtlety. It
deals with a score of volunteers who leave "in the year
of '39". Interestingly enough, they also return "in
the year of '39".

My favorite part:

    In the year of '39
came a ship in from the blue.
The volunteers came home that day.
    And they bring good news
    of a world so beautiful,
though their hearts so heavily weigh.
For the earth is old and grey
    little darling went away
but my love this cannot be.
Oh so many years are gone
though I'm older but a year,
    your mother's eyes
    from your eyes
    cry to me
