Has anyone had experience with the Carlyle XIV limited partnership real
estate investment? After hearing good things about it I invested.
However, my broker was unable to provide me with quantitative data on
specifics. i.e. I have financial statements but not enough to
calculate my ROI (return on investment). I've been looking at rental
property also recently and concluded that was only good for 15-20% max.
With sales commissions being around 9% for Carlyle I wouldn't expect it
to be higher but I was told it was. Anyone have a rough estimate?
