(their emphasis), what did I see in the cooler but: Cherry Coke. I decided if I could handle the New C(h)oke, I could try a can of this stuff. Actually, it tastes like your basic supermarket-brand black cherry soda. It was very heavily carbonated, and I honestly could not taste any cola flavor to it. It resembles in no way that I can tell the classic (small 'c') fountain cherry colas of my NYC youth. Another marketing ploy? Maybe they plan to drive out the com- petitors by simply putting out so many different 'Cokes' that Pepsi et al. simply have no available space on the shelves.
