What are you talking about?  The articles provide the context necessary to
understand the followup(s).  I DO hate people who cannot responsibly edit
an long article that they are responding to.  I'll read the first screen of
a followup, but if the author hasn't included any of his followup in the first
20+ lines, I hit break and go on.
