Well, let me put it this way: given that (from what I can tell) the
aliens in ``V'' got here by ``conventional'' spaceship, it would take
a lot less energy to grab water ice from anywhere else in our solar
system than a deep gravity well (e.g., Earth).

If you wish to propose a transportation mechanism that works better
in gravity wells, fine, but V sure didn't.
