I still claim this is too simplified, the proof is by counter-example. I have been involved in a relationship that included passionate kisses that was definitely *not* an SOship. I have even been involved in relationships that included sex that were *not* SOships. The *only* thing that determines an SOship is a mutual commitment between the partners involved.
