Thanks for the great response to my query, here's
what I found out:
1. Sandpaper(disc) gets gummed up real fast
2. Paint remover works a little
3. COLOR TILE makes a product called "OLD ADHESIVE AND
   PAINT REMOVER SOLVENT" which works great. You slap
this stuff (it looks like melted blue jello) on and
let it set for 25 minutes and the adhesive comes off
like liver patte'.
