If someone puts their career first in their life, please, don't look around at work for an SO. I've seen WAY TOO MANY break up over the issue. WAY TOO MANY in my book is at least 20% of the relationships I know of at my work place... and I know many people here. For me, finding companionship at work is like a smorgasbord! There's soooooo much to choose from. ( big :-) ) And I'm sure after this posting, there will be alot more. Granted Bell Labs in Naperville, IL has 3 large buildings and people, people, people. That's why I feel so "safe" in starting relationships here. Now, if I worked in a 20 to 30 person shop, I may think differently. Yes, we're all suppose to be adult and professional about breakups while at work, but I know I have a hard time dealing with an ex-sweetheart for a bit of time after a breakup. So we're human, eh?
