Summary:

I want to comment about some comments about the Dune discrepancy that I

brought up earlier. One person said that the temperature of Dune was

not necessarily high. Well, I don't have any references, but I don't

think that Dune was a chilly place during the day. If it were, being a

desert, the nights would be extremely cold. I would think that in describing

a desert world an author would mention if it were that cold.

The other explanation is that stillsuits were much more high tech than I

believe they were. The suggestion is active cooling with refrigeration. I

again don't have any references for this ... does anybody else?
