This is something that has been getting up my nose for some time now.

To all you ignoramuses out there a kiwi a bloody BIRD. It's not a
fruit or a flavour. That brown fuzzy fruit about the size of a
tennis ball ( 'cept when it comes from California where is it is the
size of a golf ball an' tastes like one too ) is called a kiwiFRUIT!

To call it a kiwi is like calling a grapefruit a GRAPE!

So come on you lot, get your act together and learn to keep time with
the rest of the world.

BTW, a kiwi is an animal that eats roots and leaves ( no commas there )
It is a non-flight type bird ranging in size from a small hen to
a middle sized dog. It has a long beck ( to get at the aforementined
roots ) and is a nite animal. It is also the symbol of a small country
with the tendency to annoy the American government a lot and more
importantly it's the symbol of a very well know brand of shoe nugget.

[No prizes for guessing the country that first started exporting this
fruit but who knows what it's real name is ( before said country stole
it and marketed it under their own name )]
