Thank god! I hope your employer is not as nearsighted and
narrowminded and selfish as you.

It's obvious that you work hard, since it doesn't leave you any
time to think. Although I do wonder how you managed to put
together a gramatically correct sentence under the circumstances.

Consider: USENET is used and maintained by users. There is no
"Big Brother" to support or police it. As with any voluntary
association, the members accept the responsibility to behave
within the rules (written or not) and abide by them. When
someone violates those rules, to the detriment of all, what would
you suggest?

As I've said before on this issue, I agree with Gordon and others
(including myself, of course). People who abuse the net or its
users should be willing to accept the consequences. The
consequences are decided by their fellows (ouch - does that mean
that we're all Alex's fellows? sorry). The administrator at each
site clearly has some additional responsibilities (maintenance
of the system and so forth), and is the logical person to contact
(catch that word contact?). I am one, and would expect to be
contacted if one of the users at my sight was violating some
rules or guidelines. That's why we have .signatures, right?

Again - do you have any suggestions, or are you just farting for
us all?
