For plotting I use an HP-75C unit with a HP-82913A monitor and a
HP-7470A plotter attached by a HP-IL interface loop. My plotting
programs are written in BASIC combined with the HP-GL graphics
language. Plotting works fine but now I wish to use the plotter
for digitizing. My HP-7470A Graphics Plotter Interfacing and
Programming Manual states on page 11-6 that "At the time of this
printing (May 1983), the I/O functions necessary to obtain data
from the plotter are not available for the HP-75...".

Does anyone out there know if digitization with the hp-75C and
HP-7470A combination is possible or where I get information on
this subject? I have read all my HP manuals and they are no help.

                                    Thanks in advance,
