I bought a Sony SL-2710 a couple of days ago, a demo machine, the
last one in the store, and the store had lost the owner's manual, so
I'm winging it with a manual for the SL-2700 until the correct manual
gets sent to me. The machines' controls are substantially different,
and one thing I haven't been able to figure out is this: whenever the
machine is powered on, it displays the the timer in the timer/clock display
area (except when the clock is actually in the process of being set.)
Record, play, monitor, all show the timer. I used to use the vcr clock
as my living room clock..... Is there a way to set it to display the clock
instead of the timer?
