Chicago - Computation Center Lines: 10 Mapping search to ^\ and quote to ^] could cause problems for people who run EMACS on personal computers. In most micro communications packages the user must assign one character to enable him to end the terminal emulation mode of the program ("close the connection" in Kermit terms). I know most of the Kermit's I have see come with the ESCAPE character mapped to ^\ or ^] just because they are not mapped in EMACS. Are there any other character that EMACS don't map? SaS
