The CRISIS ON INFINITE EARTHS is loads of fun (except for the death of
Supergirl -- I just about cried when she bought the farm. Come to think
about it, getting wasted by the Anti-Monitor was about the most interesting
thing she ever did.) but one thing remains unclear: are there only five
*Earths* remaining, or five whole *Universes*? Clearly, the interest is in
the fate of the Earths, but what about, say, Rann-S, or Jupiter-X, or any of
the zillions of other planets that DC has raided for alien characters over
the years? Has this been explained?

P.S. The subject line is sort of a red herring -- the Bizarro world is just
an Earth-1 universe phenomenon, so far as I know.
