Forgive me for making a seemingly chauvinistic comment, but before I even got to the end of the article and saw your name, I knew that this was being written by a woman. I recall how, when I was in college, I had always been acutely aware of how difficult it was to meet MOTOS. This was something all the male-type people complained about vehemently. However, shortly after I graduated, I was talking to one of my former fellow-students, a MOTOS who I DID eventually meet, who was telling me how disappointing it was to be out in the real world, where men were so relatively scarce; and how she looked back on her time in college as "a time of love and attention". This was because, at this college, the male:female ratio was 2:1. A similar situation exists in most technical organizations. Here where I work, for example, there are no unmarried women at all! In fact, this was also true in the CS dept. when I was in graduate school. I would suspect it is also true where you are, although this "Indian Hill" seems to be a big place, and thus you have a larger sample from which to derive your actual ratio. -- Shyy-Anzr: J.
