Besides the $250 yearly fee you must: - have been an American Excess cardmember for at least 2 years. - charged at least $10,000 per year on your card. - have had your account in good standing all the time. - be "invited" to join. You won't see any Platinum applications at your local bank. They make some vague rumblings about "unlimited personal financial freedom". Right. Has anyone every seen one of these?
