Must people always send a copy to net.micro when posting to a specialty subgroup -- can they not think first if it is of "general" micro interest or not covered by a subgroup??? And if cross-posting a LARGE article (gt. one screenfull) does seem necessary, couldnt a "pointer" note to the large article in the specialty group be just submitted to the more general net.micro?
