I purchased a Macintosh on Sept. 8th and an upgrade January 16th.
My computer store sent in all the necessary paperwork. I still
have not received any of my software ( MacDraw or MacProject),
nor have I received a single letter, telgram or phone call from
anyone at Apple. My computer store has sent in the paperwork
twice now including receipts for the initial purchase and the
upgrade. They ( I assume Apple) have my system disk. Still not
one word from Apple!!
I don't think this is any way to run a company especially one
with competition. As a comp.sci. professor, I've convinced
six people over the last year to purchase Macs. No more!
if Apple has delays in handling orders they should at least
send a form letter. No word at all in nearly six months!
I've bought APPLE since 1980 ( four systems thus far), but
if I don't hear soon, no more.
