Apart from Bronski Beat, and the occasional special-order albums such as Gay Men's Chorus albums, who is out there singing songs for men to hear? The only artist I've ever heard of in my admittedly limited experience is Paul Parker, but I never heard him. I have grown tired of hearing het singers sing about there het lovers. All fine and dandy, but it is a strain to have to changing the genders and prevents my getting into the feeling of the song. I don't wish to limit the range of suggestions you netters can offer, but if I had to pick a style or first-buy it'd be something romantic, blues, or folk, with rock/pop second. So: who are the Holly Near's of the gay male world? Where do you write to order their albums? \bob usenet: decwrl!dec-rhea!dec-vaxwrk!peterson /\ arpa: peterson%vaxwrk.DEC@decwrl.ARPA arpa: @decwrl.ARPA:peterson@vaxwrk.DEC
