Ultralights should not be required to have the avionics requirements of other aircraft. For example, the atitude indicator is not needed at all. When you are sitting on the seat with nothing but two pedals in between you and everything else, you know your attitude! Being a Private Pilot (SEL), and an Ultralight pilot, I can see a large difference between the required avionics of an Ultralight and a Cherokee 180.
