Computer Eng., Cleveland, OH Lines: 20 Xref: watmath net.dcom:1100 net.periphs:809 I was wondering about the compatiblity of 2400 baud modems. ie: 1) What different types of protocols are there, or aren't there? 2) Specifically, we have a bunch of Attis and Concords, which are compatible, but how compatable are they with DECs new DF-24s? 3) Which ones perform well, and which ones don't. 4) Is there a prevailing standard, or does it look like there is going to be one. I'll summarize should the responses warrent it. Thanks alot. william robertson usenet: [ucbvax seismo inhp4]!decvax!cwruecmp!rob 1615 hazel arpa: rob.case@csnet-relay cleveland, ohio 44106 csnet, bitnet: rob@case (216) 791-0922
