OK so this is really a dead news group, and it's no wonder.
All the bored sailors have gone board sailing.
I tried to sell my 25 ft ketch here last month and got one
reply from some net.admin type who wondered why i did not
limit the distribution of my message to where i was willing to
deliver it. If nobody wants to buy such a fine boat, it is
probably because they are out windsurfing. I, for one,
have not even been *aboard* the ketch for a month.
It is far too much of a thrill having the whole works in your
hands and at your feet -- modulating the lift from a fully
articulated rig !! ( *** heeling is obsolete! *** ).
If there are any old tyme cruising buffs out there who want a
neat, capable ketch, who are still happy with 5kts, drop a line.
Meanwhile, net.boardsailing anyone?

p.s. Is anyone experimenting with articulated rigs on anything
larger than a windsurfer out there?
