Lines: 40 I got off work one night last week and went to my favorite restaraunt. I had a bite of chow and sat talking to a few friends who showed up. This couple came in with their grand- daughter ( about 6 or 7 years old ). She sat eating quietly with Gramma and Grampa. After a little while she got up and started running up and down the aisle between the tables and yelling at the top of her lungs. After about fifteen minutes of this I started to get a headache. I turned around and said "Hey Goddammit, that's enough! That isn't what these places are for!" I turned to Grandma and Grampa and found Grandma looking daggers at me. Grampa just got a little smurk on his face and finished eating. Grandma took the offending screamer out to the car, but not before I mentioned the fact that if the kid got hurt they'd probably sue the restaraunt. Lucy (the waitress) wouldn't say anything to them because she figured they wouldn't leave a tip if she did. She said they probably wouldn't now anyway. That prediction was as accurate as Annie Oakley's aim but that's okay. I left a tip for them, probably more than they would have left. It was worth every penny. Will I ever do that again? Yes, and I hope the guardians of the "screamer" don't like it. I do like to see kids having a good time but, not indoors if they are going to be louder than my .44mag. Sorry to bring up an old subject again but, I just wanted people to know they can say something if other people get on their nerves. I did and the problem went away. Have a nice, quiet day, Ol' Grouchy assed Tom.
