Chicago - Computation Center Lines: 21 A few people asked for a "report" on the Windy City (Chicago) Midnight tour.... So here it is. We had somewhat over 5000 paid participants - this is not counting those who "ambushed" the pack along the way and joined in for free. The first bike left Glenview Naval Air base at about 11:15 pm, the last bike left about 11:45 (we rode in one line staggered). The experimentially determined length of the line was 17 miles once we got on the tollway. The route was Glenview -> tollway -> Kennedy Expressway -> downtown Chicago -> Edens Expressway -> Glenview. The total distance was 83 miles. We had a few minor accidents in downtown Chicago and one really excellent wipeout when a guy on a V65 Magna pulled a wheelie through the toll booth doing about 45 mph and slipped on the grease spot in the middle of the road. A good time was had by all. Gary
