All those system calls, especially on a multiuser system would be sooooo slow! I know that GSS has there VDI graphics with a meta file system and 'C' bindings on the 7300. I saw it and I was impressed (which may not mean much). They even had two dimensional object rotation (cosmic! like what a totally awesome concept!). I really am not sure whether this is available on Xenix but from a brochure that I read it seems they said something about it. Maybe if they got enough pressure it would become available. Besides, their priorities seem to be in pleasing IBM at this time. You are talking Xenix/286 aren't you? Vaughn Vernon AT&T ISL Denver, CO ihnp4!drutx!drux1!vlv I speak for no one but Baker and Ed. (Real Coors Gurus). (Seen: it's snowing in the Rockies. What else.) Ed: "Baker." Baker: "Ya Ed." Ed: "How many six packs do you think are falling out there right now?" Baker: "Gee, I never thought of it that way! There must be millions, thousands even!!!"
