TV guide compiled TV ratings from 9/24/84 - 4/21/85 in an article this week,
and I found a few statistics worth noting:

1) While Hill Street Blues was not in the top 20 (at 28) for the whole year,
it was ahead of Miami Vice, which finished 40th. I would have thought the
latter garnered a much larger share of the market...

2) Rather amusing was that the ratings for Michner's Space series were only
1.2 points better than V: The Final Battle...

3) Get this: Which "theatrical film" (i.e. not made-for-television) made the
second-highest ratings, beating "Firefox, For Your Eyes Only, Airplane,
Superman & Stir Crazy? Would you believe _The_Wizard_of_Oz_? Now *that's*
staying power... (_Victor/Victoria_ finished 1st).

        Expect the Unexpected.
