Although it is a little early to tell, they seem to be working well, and the integration with VMS is good. Graphics and typesetting files are dealt with by the VMS print spooler (as modified by Talaris) like text files. The 2400's seem to be plug compatable replacements for DEC's impact line printers. The primary drawback is the limited input paper hopper size (1500 sheets). The 2400's are sufficiently similar to the LN01's (both are QMS derivatives) the DEC has agreed to maintain them.
