Subject: Nehru Awards

Kenneth Kaunda is, and has been for at least 10 years, the President of
Zambia (not Tanzania or Kenya). I have no idea why people like him and
Julius Nyerere were given the Nehru award, certainly not because they
deserved it.

I didn't know Mrs G was given the award last year. What an abomination.
Who's the lucky one this year? Rahul or Priyanka Gandhi? Why don't we
honour people like Raj and Mabel Arole in Jamkhed, Maharashtra, more often?
Or like Alan Paton for his vision and humanity in South Africa?

regards, and feel free to send me hate mail,
Dilip D'Souza.
