Galbreath is created one heck of a demand for his team of malcontents by bringing in not one, but two potential owners from Denver. What's the going price up to now? 50 Million? Soon a local buyer will come in... Meanwhile, King Pete keeps contradicting himself depending on who he is talking to.(Yes, we will expand, no we will not, Denver is on the list, no it is not,..etc., etc., etc...) Unfortunately, major league baseball promised a team to Denver already in the early 60's, and they have been dangling the carrot ever since. Personally, I've grown tired of it. I still have occasional relapses of "baseball withdrawel" since moving to Ft. Collins from Chicago, but it's time to put up or shut up as far as the league is concerned. Roy P.S. An American League Team? I guess I could boo the Yankees as well as the next guy.
