Systems, Summit, NJ Pale Rider Produced & directed by: Clint Eastwood Starring: Clint Eastwood, Carrie Snodgress, Michael Moriarty This movie continues in the tradition of previous Eastwood spaghetti westerns, with the exception of Good, Bad, & Ugly. The storyline is simple, uncluttered and very predictable. The violence is more graphic than in previous movies, due in part to the losser standards today than yesterday. Eastwood's performance is less than stellar and the script is, at times, ludicrous. I have definitely seen better from Clint and in general can only recommend the movie to die-hard Eastwood wetern-lovers (like myself). For the rest of the world I recommend to wait for the videotape release (this one will be out very soon) and spend your $5 on something more worthwhile such as Coccoon or Back to the Future or Dinner at MacDonalds. 0 0 | ------ H.
