It's quite all right to use that terminal for non-plotter work, or for statistical work in preparation for plotting, *IF* nobody wants to use the plotter at the moment. The plotter terminal is not special in any way except for having the plotter attached; anything else, including statistical work using S, can be done on any other terminal. (In fact, the plotter terminal is a good deal slower than our other public terminals.)
