I have the following question:

I guess about a month ago someone posted a picture of an icecream,
which he said was a digitized photo, in MacPaint format.
I would like to know if this is really possible and specially HOW
that was done.

Our purpose is to do statistical messurements on electron-microscope
pictures of molecules. This would also meen that we want to be able
to get the pictures in such a format that we could look at them on the
screen and do calculations and transformations on the screen image
or a file representing that image.

If digitizing to a MacPaint document is possible, then we would also
like to have a description of the MacPaint format.

I'll summarize responses (if any).

Thanks in advance,
