Some rationale!

So, I suppose that it's ok to knowingly spread disease since it causes
medical researchers to look for cures.

And airline hijackings are good because now there are people checking the
security procedures at the airports.

And rape is justified to make women aware of how vulnerable they can be.

And etc, etc, etc.

At least this keeps our minds off cancer, nukes, work......
