The governments (individuals, too) I had in mind were in western
Europe, from which Nicaragua receives a lot of assistance and
trades quite normally.  These countries have their quirks, but are
generally considered to be civilized.  My statement was in reply to
some right-winger's suggestion that helping the Sandinistas with their
computer equipment was essentially giving aid to Moscow.  I was
attempting to point out that Nicaragua is not Mongolia, no matter
how much the Senile One (or said right-winger) might wish it so.
