Discussion here has been pretty dull for a month or so.  I was about to
liven things up by posting an article explaining that mice and menus were
an even worse means of communicating with a computer than Hollerith cards
(you'll have to guess whether that comes with a :-) or not), when it
suddenly occured to me that this time -- in contrast to the
8086/rest-of-the-world fracas of late -- the subject really might not be
appropriate for net.arch.

So I thought I would ask whether other people thought that that would be an
suitable topic.  After all, it's sort of the topmost layer of the
architecture (he said lamely) ...

Seriously, I am interested in certain aspects of computer/user interfaces,
and am looking for a place to discuss it.


Real computers should be emousculated!!
