I just recently purchased a Tandy 1200 HD (an IBM XT clone with
10 meg. HD). Everything seemed to be fine until the other day
when after moving (gently) my machine down to the basement I
noticed that when entering programs such as Crosstalk, Wordstar,
etc., that the menus had the highlighting reversed. I checked the
monitor cable and that seemed to be in fine. I tried booting with
the autoexec.bat file renamed (in case I was sending some escape
sequences to ansi.sys), but all to no avail. Does anyone have any
idea what the problem might be ? I called up Radio Shack and the
technical consultant thought that it was unlikely that the problem
   was with the monitor.

I would appreciate any help that I could get with this problem.

   Thank you.
