This story was reported on the tv news:

A convicted murderer escaped from a Utah prison but was recaptured.
He is now suing the state for experiencing unnecessary trauma. He
is asking for 2 million. The basis of his case is:

	1) being forced to cross a raging river at risk of his
		own life.
	2) receiving multiple mosquito bites and other insect stings
any of which could have resulted in an allergic
reaction, or even have been poisonous.
	3) repeated gunfire shot into the air in his general vicinity.

And who is footing the bill for this ludicrous case? Yes, we are.
Another example of how our taxes are put to good use.
