I have a '69 chevy 427 with the holley 6-pack.

Problem. The car simply will not idle. If I slow it down
to below 1500 rpm, it just dies. no sputter, no roughness,
just stop.

The ignition system is set fine. I suspect the primary carb,
especially as one of the idle mix screws has no noticable effect..

thanks in advance.
