As I recall, after Superman enlarged Kandor several years
ago, he built a replica (same size as the shrunken original)
as a memento for his Fortress.
Later a race of tiny aliens moved in, although they haven't
been seen since, as far as I know.

Presumably, Wonder Woman didn't know that Supes had built his own
replica of Kandor, so 
when she gave him one as a present, he rushed off at super-speed
to hide the one he had made, so he didn't have to say,
"Thanks, but I already have one....".
