A Real nut! With all the things people are doing on the net, in source code, you flame about cosmetics? You must be kidding?! I said in the top of the program, Q&D, perhaps I should explain for the children in the audience. Q&D stands for Quick and Dirty, a program written for one goal, at a moment of need, and not really intended to last very long, this one did, in fact, I found it soo useful I shared it with you (obviously a mistake). But if you wan't to flame about cosmetics, beleive me, there are much worse things around in the UNIX world. Comsat's blasting to your terminal, cca emacs in whole, gnu emacs, just to name a few! But cosmetics is not a BUG, nor is it a flaw! It's PERSONAL taste. A cosmetic becomes a flaw when it interferes with normal operation of the program, or causes it to be hard or (impossiable) to compile elsewhere. (Like long identifiers). If the various programs come accross the net don't please the eye, or ear, then don't compile them, and if you don't like what's being offered, GET OFF THE NET! Flames to /dev/null, - -Shawn Uucp: mit-eddie!shawn Arpa: Shawn at Mit-Mc My thoughts are my own, and I hope that of a number of others in this matter. Gimme a break!
