They are rigidly connected to the rear axle support and move with every bump of the rear wheel. When I go off road, I tell my passenger to hook their feet ove mine. Driver pegs are on the engine cradle and have a little less vibration. Needless to say, I don't go two up for long rides at all. I have to drive entirely different when I have a rider. Bart Thielges
