I says "SPOT? Where have I seen that before?". Then it hit me (or was it just the music blaring in the background?) Black Flag's "Damaged," also on SST, was produced by SPOT. Just who is SPOT anyway? Between SPOT and Jello Biafra it seems there is a near monopoly on serious hardcore. I don't suppose we'll be seeing any REAL music on CD's soon, eh? Only the "European Synth-Pop Trash" just now crossing over into the MTV/WPLJ hype machines. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Stan Switzer | "Somewhere the dirt is washed down with the rain" ihnp4!u1100s!sjs | -- Husker Du
