YAWN...  I'm glad to see you learned you high school civics lessons well.
You can call our political system what you want, the point remains the
same.  The power of the government of the United States is vested
(through various levels of indirection) in the PEOPLE.  Yet in
reality, the PEOPLE have little knowledge of or control over the
foreign policy of this country.
