De Souza"Here at SUNY Stony Brook we have a distributed OS running on a network of M68Ks. We call it SAM2S (Stand-Alone-Modula-2-System). The present communication subsytem is based on XNS protocols which does not help when everything else (at least in our LAN) being based on Unix 4.2 speaks TCP/IP. Hence we are working on implementing TCP/IP in our kernel. I have taken up the task of implementing the IP part (and possibly ARP since each of these have Ethernet interfaces). I would appreciate it if anyone could give me any pointers, help, etc. on either IP and/or ARP code which is documented/explained. I am at present going through UNIX 4.2's C code written for the VAX 750/780s. I don't have any documentation (except for the tutorials on IPC from UC Berkeley). Thanks. - Benoy De Souza Computer Science, SUNY Stony Brook, NY 11794 (516)-246-7146 benoy@sbcs.csnet
