First of all it dont look right now as if the Cubbies are gonna make it anyhow. Sutcliffe and Matthews are both on the DL again, and I dont think they have the bench strength to pull through. If by some miracle they do make it, I dont really see what the problem is. Just start the Series on a Saturday in Chicago, take Monday off, play 3 or 4 games in the American league city, and finish in Chicago if neccessary. This does make things somewhat tougher for the Cubs, but they get to play all there home games at Wrighly, in the daytime, on national TV so it should satisfy every other objection. Another appraoch would be to use the net to create a solidarity union where everyone just refuses to go to work if a mid-week game in Chicago is required. The Prez. could make it a national holiday.
