	There are a couple cases at NCAR that I believe are good solutions
to this problem.  The first couple consists of two scientists, both employed
at NCAR.  What they do is stagger their work hours so that somebody is
available most of the time, and the kid is in day care the rest of the time.
The problem with this approach is that it can seriously impact on the amount
of time the couple has to spend with each other, which is hard on a marriage.
	The second case involves just the husband, who worked in my group.
Here, the boss simply let him take a MicroVAX home, and he somehow managed
to work and deal with the kids at the same time.
