ASG, San Diego, CA. Lines: 29 Xref: dcdwest net.wanted:4838 net.micro:6442 I recently requested from Intel information on an 80186 assembler and a C cross compiler, and was cheerfully provided with a price list indicating prices of $1750 and $3500 respectively. If anyone knows of any alternatives, I would appreciate being enlightened. I need an 80186 assembler and a C compiler which will produce linkable object modules, allowing me to separately compile and assemble modules and link both assembly and compiled modules together. In order of preference, I would like it to run on: VAX running UNIX System V Intel MDS (blue box) Apple MacIntosh Any other software and hardware, the combination of which would cost less than Intel's software only price. Please mail me if you have any suggestions.
