I had a deep romantic interest in a woman who was a fellow member of an early music consort I played in some years back, but I ultimately decided not to be interested (this was not easy) because it seemed certain to interfere with the ensemble. I had to weigh the special feeling I had about the group with the special feeling about that woman. First I thought I couldn't win; then I saw I couldn't lose. I'm not at all sure I'd do the same thing in a work situation, nor even if I had that same decision to make again. -- *** *** JE MAINTIENDRAI ***** ***** ****** ****** 12 Jul 85 [24 Messidor An CXCIII] ken perlow ***** ***** (312)979-7753 ** ** ** ** ..ihnp4!iwsl8!ken *** ***
