This research eventually will ead to the development of new products which either have commercial potential or contribute to possible commercial ventures. * The reserach areas proposed include semiconductor crystal growth, remote sensing, communication technology and biotechnology. * Proposals were received from: Battelle-Columbus Lab, Columbus, Ohio * The inst for Technology Development, Jackson, Miss. * Colorado School of Mines, Golden, Co. * Vanderbilt Univ., Nashville, Tenn. * U. of Fla., Gainesville, Fla. * MIT, Cambridge, Mass. * Midwest Research Institute, Kansas City, Mo. * U. of Ala., Birmingham, Ala. * U. of Tenn.
