I believe we are not receiving net.flame (I hope), but some extra catching in our news may help some. So here goes: - Inews will be made to accept only the first group in a list of Followup-To: groups, UNLESS one group is net.flame; in that case the article will go SOLELY to net.flame. - And, in conjunction to the above, followup postings to net.flame will be silently converted into mail. This can probably be defeated by mucking with the References: line; so be it. Anyone tries THAT, and net.flame will map into /dev/null. How much work would it be to make rnews trap incoming articles with net.flame in the Newsgroups: line, and send those articles ONLY to net.flame? (I suppose I'll find out the answer to the above myself.) I see no use for posting in multiple groups; at least, not THAT easily. BTW, I already have RN set up (for myself; we can't compile RN V4.3) to junk all but the first Followup-To: group, and I may duplicate it into the Newsgroups: line. --bsa -- Brandon Allbery, Unix Consultant -- 6504 Chestnut Road, Independence, OH 44131 decvax!cwruecmp!ncoast!bsa; ncoast!bsa@case.csnet; +1 216 524 1416; 74106,1032 ========================> Trekkies have Warped minds. <=======================
