For the second time, I've had to re-format my Lisa 10mb hard drive because some program went and screwed up the directory. I don't mind re-copying all the files and so on, but the problem is that I don't backup my files regularly. Why? Well, because it's a real pain to go thru the ENTIRE directory (of over 5mbs, and hundreds of files) and try to figure out what files to put on what floppy to to get close to 400k! So... Does anyone know of ANYTHING resembling a backup/restore program for the Lisa (or any other hard disk unit -- SOMEONE else must have had this problem). I've heard that XL/SERVE has some kind of backup utility -- does anyone know about it? @hnij@ -- -- John Labovitz uucp: ..!decvax!philabs!sbcs!bnl44!hnij arpa: hnij@bnl44.arpa
