Here is another article which was posted to net.music, which I am
reposting because it never got here. I received it via personal mail.
Here it is:

FROM; HUGH MAHER, Engineering Dean's Office, U.C. Berkeley, June 26

After waking up at 6:00 am this morning (wednesday), I called
EMI in London to inquire

1)When Kate Bush's new single will be released, and what the title
is. (i.e. Has it been changed from "A Deal With God" or NOT?...)

2)When will her new album be released, and what will be ITS title?

3)Will the new album be released on Compact Disc?

4)Finally, is there any truth to the rumor that there will be a
full-length conceptual video release to coincide with the album?

UNFORTUNATELY, after being forwarded to the "press" department, I was
told (by a young british woman with a VERY weary voice...)
that, no, she didn't have ANY information except that a single release
is expected for AUGUST!!!!!!!!! (Which means that the album won't
be released until at least September...)(which also means that the
U.S. release will be pushed back until October...but, Hey, I'm going
to England for a year in September anyway, so I guess I'm kind of
glad that I'll be there for the album's release. Ha ha ha.)
(One less K.B. Fanatic on the net!!!)

Obviously, by the way, I didn't get very far with the other questions.
Maybe all the fanatics can be put in Suspended Animation (as in
2001-a Space Odyssey) until it's released.

Oh well.
