You know where I've found the worst drivers? IOWA!! > I just got back (from my honeymoon! cards and letters welcome...) from the British Virgin Islands (Tortola, a very mountainous island). The roads are SCARY, many steeper than San Francisco with lots of blind curves and switchbacks. The natives drive like maniacs! I don't think they believe that cars can be dangerous. They do things like passing other cars on blind curves up a 45-degree incline, and (maybe because there are no lines painted on the roads) don't seem to understand the concept of 'lanes', just sort of drive along wherever their hearts take them. Besides they drive on the wrong side of the road ALL THE TIME! :-) marie
