Remember a few years ago, Coca-Cola and Pepsi were both available
in WIDE mouth plastic bottles? I believe that this syndrome occurred
shortly after the introduction of the plastic bottle. I have a few
questions concerning this phenomenon that perhaps someone on the
    net could answer:

    1) What prompted the creation of the wide mouth bottle?
    2) What prompted its demise?
    3) Are the caps interchangable with the current Thirst-buster
        bottle by Coca-Cola?
