On the subject of varied rock, what do people know about the
band "Dixie Dregs". I picked up an album of theirs several year ago
title "What If" which immediately became a favorite. The album consists
of four to five instrumental pieces which range in style with violins
and electric guitar as the featured instruments. I recommend it highly.

On the basis of this album I bought a second on which the band had
changed its name to simply "The Dregs". This album, "Unsung Heros", had
a much narrower range of style, the music was louder and relied more
heavily on the electric guitar. I don't like this one as much but the
music is still worth a listen.

I have always been curious about the direction and history of this
band. Does anybody know anything more about them?
