No, no test...a weird bookstore near my house which has one shelf of
unusual used science fiction.

Oh, I noticed that no one had mentioed "Escape Velocity" in connection
with Stasheff or the Warlock books.  This is the book which tells of
the origins of the planet on which the warlock finds himself.
