I have had the opportunity to use autocad a very tiny amount and it
is quite good. You really need to spend a lot of time with the
manual. It is a big sucker. It is quite slow unless you have a math
co=processor. If you do then it us just slow instead of quite slow.

I understand there is a new version out that is rumoured to be about
5 times as fast as the first. 

Some large companies in Toronto area use it and are quite happy with it.
