Possibly the easiest implementation would be a refrigerator/ microwave oven. This would allow me to prepare dinner in the morning and come home to it already-cooked in the evening. I have used ovens with timers (both electric and microwave), but there is the danger of spoilage if the food is left all day unless it is frozen first. If so, it is a little difficult to predict how defrosted or spoiled it is. Also that kind of limits you to roasted meats, and I don't favor meats for general health reasons. --J.
