Well, I use only 140's and have no problems. Maybe it depends on how many times you show your slides, or where you keep them between showings. [I keep mine in the boxes that God :-) provided -- both the cheapest and the most compact method there is.] With regard to the original query, let me add that I had a B&H slide cube projector, and it had lots of problems, and I dumped it for a Carousel.
