Any suggestions as to how to protect a young child from a woodstove located
in the living room?

I've considered some type of barricade but would like to hear what others
have found useful.

Also any ideas as to how to protect both child and "oak peg" floor from
abuse during those "youthful" years. We'd like not to cover the floor if
possible.

Thanks in advance,

Jim and Debbie Page
