My 1973 Delta 88 has 88,000 miles on it and for the most part runs great.
However, it hsa recently developed a strange problem. It starts to backfire
really badly after its been driven at highway speed for about 1/2 hour.
Naturally, the mechanics say they can't duplicate it so they can't fix it,
but one mechanic thought it might be a valve spring problem. Anyone in
netland have a similar problem. Please don't tell me "Whadda ya want for a
12 year old car. I know, I know. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
