"Top Cat was the sophisticated, opportunistic leader of a pack of
Broadway alley cats. Their homes were well-equipped ash cans, they made all
their phone calls from the police phone on a nearby pole, got their milk
and newspapers from nearby doorsteps, and ate scraps from the neighborhood
delicatessen. Their only problem was Officer Dibble, the cop on the local
beat. He did his best to control them but seldom succeeded.

"Reruns of TOP CAT aired for several years on Saturday Mornings- on ABC
from October 1962 to March 1963 and on NBC from April 1965 to May 1969."
