There is nothing more annoying than when you are interested in asking someone out, and they keep saying no, and suddenly get miffed when you stop. Its even worse when someone shows interest in you, and even goes out with you, and then suddently invites you to dinner at a nice Chinatown restaruant with *Her Boyfriend*! Arrgh! I think that one day we'll all learn to be a bit more honest and then these problems will go away. I'll probably be history by then, but such is life. I should be fair, I am sure it works the same when women want men who keep ignoring them, .... And the absolute kicker is all the women who immediately think you want to jump on them if you show any interest in them. I personally am tired of the whole pick-up routine, I was never great at it anyway... I would like to meet someone who enjoys a nice afternoon in Central Park, etc. I think they've all gone someplace else though... ...Ah. I feel better now. On the bright side, its almost spring!Dave ...!allegra!cmcl2!cmcl1!spector Spector@nyu-cmcl1.ARPA
