I am currently trying to maintain the same set of f77 programs on a UNIX
and VMS system. Is anybody aware of a document that describes the
differences between the f77 compiler on UNIX and VMS ? A listing of specific
differences between the 2 systems would also be appreciated.

Also does anybody know how many files may be open at the same time in
UNIX f77. The documentation does not mention the # they just say there
is a limit.

Thanx for any help.
