My guess is that >Top Cat was supposed to be Phil Silvers (I don't mean the voice, I mean the >character). Ah back when cartoons were GOOD! Seems that there were several cartoon shows in the '60s that were kiddified versions of prime-time sitcoms. Examples: The Flintsones The Honeymooners Top Cat Sgt. Bilko Calvin & the Colonel Amos and Andy (anyone else remember this one?) (were there more?) Later on, of course, the studios went in for more direct adaptations such as "Brady Kids" and "Star Trek". BTW, isn't that supposed to be "Officer Dibble"? (why do I remember all this crud?) Mike -- Mike Urban {ucbvax|decvax}!trwrb!trwspp!spp2!urban "You're in a maze of twisty UUCP connections, all alike"
