HP's new computer is called the Integral Personal Computer. Integral because everything (processor, display, disc, and printer) is in one box. It's based on a Motorola 68000 processor. Minimum configuration is .5 Meg RAM, .25 Meg ROM (contains OS), 9" diagonal electro-luminescent display. Built-in think-jet printer. Built-in HPIB interface. Two slots for additional memory or I/O boards. Detached keyboard. Retails for $4995. Optional mouse is available. The OS is HP-UX, which is a derivative of system III UN*X (a trademark of AT&T). The ROMs also contain PAM, a custom screen oriented shell. Any specific questions I'll be happy to try to answer. Jay Phillips, Hewlett-Packard Portable Computer Division ucbvax!hplabs!hp-pcd!jay
