Message-ID: <141@idec.UUCP> Date: Tue, 5-Mar-85 09:49:43 EST Article-I.D.: idec.141 Posted: Tue Mar 5 09:49:43 1985 Date-Received: Sat, 9-Mar-85 08:33:11 EST Organization: STC IDEC, Stevenage, UK Lines: 17 Xref: watmath net.unix-wizards:12338 net.bugs.4bsd:1419 Sorry if this plea has been aired before, but we have only recently joined the net. We use the (obsolete) bk line-discipline for up-loading files from small micro-based systems connected over DZ lines. Since converting from 4.1 we get "bkclose: no buf" error messages, indicating that the system buffer address has been lost from the tty table before bkclose has released the buffer. Presumably this is happening via the union in the tty table where the character queue pointers are normally kept. If anyone out there knows how/why/where this is happening I'd be pleased to hear from them via mail. Thanks, -- Geoff Whale...ukc!stc-a!idec!geoff
