He then goes on to list a number of  snippets, most of which were
recognisable as some of the earlier material of the famous British
comic (famous within Britain, that is), 'Jasper Carrot'.
He claimed to have collected them from British and Australian sources,
but not, I think, American. He started using these real accident reports
several years ago, in live acts and on television.

I don't know whether it was daemon@decwrl (the devil himself) who
was wrong, or the newspaper, but someone was.
