I put a Cessna 172 on its back on landing. I escaped unhurt, but the plane had about $12,000 damage. I carry $250,000 liability ($50 cost) and $5000 hull damage ($50 cost). When the accident occurred, I called the FBO owner of the plane and then I called AVEMCO. The FBO flew to the field where the accident occurred, got the plane right-side up, parked it, and flew me back to my home field. AVEMCO sent an accident report form and requested a copy of the repair order. I sent the report form back and haven't heard from them since. Apparently they got in touch with the FBO's insurance carrier and settled things among themselves. That is the BEST treatment I've received from ANY insurance company!! For $100 a year, I don't thonk it can be beat... Pete Wilson AT&T Technologies Montgomery, IL 60538 ..!ihnp4!mgnetp!mgweed!mgwess
