Thanks for a good article but just a couple of things.
One Nit picking point but it does leave the impression that you
are a foreigner in a strange land: Montrial is spelled Montreal(en Francais)
et it is Calgary. I know it seems so little but, boy does it make a
difference when you spell and pronounce the names of cities right.

Also, Canadian provinces are not dry; we just regulate the times
liquor can be served. An example is in Ontario, where bars can not open
till 12:00 and close down at 1:00 a.m. It isn't all that complicated
when you compare it to the vaguries of British pub closings which
sometimes change by the day.

Also, it is expected to leave a tip in Canada, a larger one
in the big cities. But, generally, people will be non-belligerant
about such things. Oh, and thanks for the comments on the geniality
of Canadians; we don't get told that enough and often, with our much
vaunted inferiority complex, we forget about it.

Thanks for an excellent article.

Sincerely yours,
