Zones would be permitted but the 3-second rule in the lane would apply to the defense as well. This would open up the middle even against the zone. This would create alot more excitement with much more without the ball movement. I think this will benefit the game. schwady p.s. I hate dissalowing zones , the defense should be allowed to do what it wants!!!
