[hackem munche]

I have just acquired a bearded collie from, all places, the local pound.
My vet says the dog is a purebred and about one year old. I understand
the breed is not widespread in the U.S. and I have had trouble finding
any books or other sources of information. I would appreciate hearing
(via e-mail or U.S. Snail) from anyone who can recommend books, other
sources of information or who owns/has owned beardies.
I'm particulary interested in information on problems to watch out for
(health, behavior), peculiarities, etc.
The dog appears
(so far) to be intelligent, affectionate, fairly calm and not a
zealous barker.
