This isn't quite a flame, but I'm bored with all the postings
starting with "The way I heard it was .....".

If you were at a party and someone told a joke and everybody laughed
(or didn't), would you follow it with "The way I heard it was..."?
If you have laughed the first time and someone retells, do you get
a good laugh the second time?

My answers to the above are no and no, respectively.  (hee hee).
