I belong to the Quality Paperback Book Club and have by and large been
pleased with it. Their paperbacks are good quality, they occasionally
have boxed sets, they carry a variety of current titles, including
computer and science books, and their prices are not bad. They also
have a bonus point system in which you amass X points for each book you
buy, and when you have enough you can select another book for free.
