I have had a pair of the Walsh IV's since last April. I've been quite
pleased with them except for the requests from the neighbors to
TURN IT DOWN -:).

The environment they are living in is a fairly "typical" apartment living room:
8' ceilings, 25' * 15', 2 sofas, tables, TV, small piano, not much on
the walls. They are being driven by 2 SWTP 250 W amps (1 mono amp per side),
primary signal source is CD.

As I said, I like them A LOT: very natural uncolored sound, large sound stage,
super imaging, excellent transients, and wide frequency response.

I previously had a pair of F's, and mangaged to destroy one of the drivers.
I called the factory and they made me an offer I couldn't refuse:
$800 + 2 F drivers (any condition) for the IV's. This deal may still be
on, so if you can find some dead F's ...

The IV's are MUCH more bulletproof and better protected than the F's.

Good listening!
