These are all alcohol.  They all distort your perception of
reality.

A good rule of thumb is to allow AT LEAST one hour per "drink" (bottle of
beer, shot of hard liquor, glass of wine) before driving.  Wait longer
if you're especially lightweight, and, of course, never drive anyway
if you feel in less than total control.

This is a dangerous and stupid (sorry for the language but lives are
at stake here) misconception.  A bottle of beer has as much alcohol
as a shot of liquor or a glass of wine.  Your statement would make
sense only if people drank similar quantities of each (e.g., a shot
of beer).
