My team is the Boston Red Sox. This year for the bosox could be full of a lot of surprises. If their young pitching staff performs well and the hitting is as good as last year then a lot of people could be in for a surprise. Al Nipper (who has a blood disease and will be out 2 months), Oil Can Boyd, and Roger Clemeans all showed a lot of potential last year and if they continue to improve, and if Mark Clear get over his control, the bosox will have one of the best pitching staffs in the league in addition to an excellent offense and they could go far. If, however, the pitching does not come arround, they could end up finishing in the same place they did in '84 or worse. Andrew M.
