Some of "the poor" are kids.  If you don't get fed when you're young you
tend to come out stupid.  That's bad for all of us.  Present U.S. policies
have significantly increased hunger in this country, even though there
is a surplus of food.  The harvest will be lower IQ's for the next seven
decades.
