A colleague who has an HP110 has been unsuccessful in transferring
files to and from our UNIX system (which runs UMODEM) using the
built-in XMODEM support in the HP110 Terminal program.

The problem does not seem to be in line protocol, but rather with
the incomplete instructions that HP provides. Unfortunately, HP
decided to make the file transfer interface more "user-friendly"
by making you use a "to host" or "from host" menu which is
totally bewildering to people (like me) who are familiar with the
commands used in most CP/M implementations of MODEM7/XMODEM.

Has anyone successfully transferred files between the HP110 and a
UNIX host running UMODEM? Are there any "tricks" or steps left
out of the instructions? Any information gratefully appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
