Message-ID: <1236@sunybcs.UUCP> Date: Wed, 27-Feb-85 15:44:42 EST Article-I.D.: sunybcs.1236 Posted: Wed Feb 27 15:44:42 1985 Date-Received: Sat, 9-Mar-85 07:36:57 EST Distribution: net Organization: State University of New York @ Buffalo,NY Lines: 26 Xref: linus net.ai:2326 net.games:1141 net.sources.games:3 A friend of mine wishes to write an AI program to play monopoly. There is a program on our UNIX system , which monitors the game, but itself is not one of the players (In the Unix program the computer is just the banker ). Thus my friend wants to know if anyone else has attempted to write a program where the computer is one of the players and can do things like make deals with other players, bid for unclaimed property etc. . If anyone knows of any such attempts , for monopoly or monopoly like games, please send mail to me. My address is below. Thanks in advance, Rakesh Kumar ---------- Rakesh Kumar CSnet: rakesh@buffalo ARPA: rakesh.buffalo@rand-relay uucp: {decvax!watmath} {pur-ee!rocks34!rocksvax} {{allegra, seismo}!rochester!rocksvax} !sunybcs!rakesh phys: Department of Electrical & Computer Engg.
