Nau Last May my SO and I were on vacation, and we stopped to visit some of his relatives, including his grandmothers. While we were visiting with one of the grannies, (she's *84* years old) she managed to turn the conversation to procreation: "When am I going to get a great-grandchild? I was talking the other day with a couple of the ladies in my building. The one downstairs has three; one down the hall from me has five, and another one down the hall has seven." Me: "But we aren't even married." Granny: "Oh, I don't care if you're married . . . I just want the great-grandchildren." I didn't know *what* to say to that, so I just kept my mouth shut and smiled. The great- grandchildren are as of this writing not forthcoming. Sorry, Grandma, could you just give us a little more time? Let him step to the music he hears, however measured or far away.
