	I presume that you are going to use the MIDI interface.

	If so, then the number of voices you can control is the same as the
	number of voices in the DX-7 (8 I think...) Also you can control
	Pitch Bend, Tremelo, Wah-Wah, changing of programs, Touch
sensitivity, etc. These are all defined in the MIDI interface. You ought to
pick up a copy of it somewhere (I am looking too) and then decide what you
want to try. Be prepared, programming a DX-7 requires you to think
backwards. I haven't done it personally but I know of people who have, and
they say that its like a FORTHithon. You gotta start from the finish sound
and work back and forth achieving the particular sound you want.

As for software, I don't know of any packages, but If you want the speed I
would recommend using the pc over the apple.
