    A Kiss From the Moon

    So far away,
    Nowhere to hide
    The love that's inside
    Just can't stay.

    Memories of times;
    A kiss from the moon
    Nights ending too soon
    Roses and wine...

    A hand warm in mine
    Soft to the touch,
    Meaning so much,
    A warm caring sign.

    My hands now cold,
    The nights are too long
    Hiding is wrong,
    Our love has been sold.

    Sold to the wind,
    Or maybe a song
    Where words don't belong,
    And hearts can't take in.

    The moon seems to weep
For the love as it dies.
There are tears in my eyes,
In my heart, and my dreams.
