     I did not call for a "truce"--the appearance of direct quotes
notwithstanding.  I suggested a "moratorium"--if Mr. Hall does not
understand the difference, let him consult a dictionary.

     I fail to understand the need for invective like that of Mr. Hall.
I also fail to understand how "truces" can be broken by **replying**
to another posting.

     I find the idea of arming everyone to the teeth to prevent crime
both ludicrous and uncivilized.
