I've been asked to repost this recipe that you may have seen some time
ago.

					MISSISSIPPI MUD CAKE

1 3/4 C  strong coffee
1/4   C  bourbon
5     oz baking chocolate
1     C  unsalted butter
2     C  sugar
1     t  baking soda
2     C  flour
2-3      eggs, slightly beaten
1     t  vanilla
         cocoa

Butter a tube pan and dust with cocoa.  Heat coffee.  Melt butter and
chocolate in it.  Cool and add bourbon and sugar; stir to dissolve.
Add sifted flour and baking soda in four portions, beating at low
speed.  Add eggs and vanilla.  Pour into prepared pan and bake in
preheated oven at 275 degrees F for 90 minutes or unitl it tests done.
Cool in the pan.  Serve plain or with a dollop of whipped cream.
