In the Whetstone benchmark, the C1200 executes 2 million single-precision Whetstones per second (twice the performance of a VAX 11/780). The system is a proprietary design built around the NCR/32, Unix (4.2 BSD), and Ethernet. The C1200 is the only workstation combining high performance with an industry standard software/hardware platform. The immediate success of our recent product introduction has created fast track career opportunities in the Technical Support/Marketing organization.
