ANSI X3H3 has formed a subgroup to investigate a possible window standard.
The group is currently examining various proposals to determine what areas
a window standard would address. The subgroup chair is John Butler from
Microsoft.

The best way to keep informed about the work on windows is to join ANSI X3H3.
Contact Barry Shepherd at IBM in Austin. Annual fees are around $75.
Don't expect the committee to magically "meet your needs" and "do the right
thing" without your help and input.
