I'd like to see some solid discussion of this issue, also. For almost two years I have observed Scientists and fellow travelers asking, nay demanding, that someone post some solid evidence that a creator created the world as we know it. The best we have gotten is evidence that there is something incomplete about our knowlege of origins. This is not disputed by anyone. This is also no evidence for the theory of creation by creator. Charges of dishonesty are bound to arise when people who call themselves scientists engage in activities that are regarded by the world of science as unethical. This is essential to the well-being of science. Creationists consistently engage in behavior that would result in professonal ruin if done by a real scientist. Since they are religious, rather than scientific, people this behavior is supported and applauded by their peers. Everything about Creationism and Creationist points to the fact that it is not science and they are not scientists and to suggest otherwise is a lie. And telling lies is dishonest. And no amount of whining is going to change this basic reality. -- Michael Ward, NCAR/SCD UUCP: {hplabs,nbires,brl-bmd,seismo,menlo70,stcvax}!hao!ward ARPA: hplabs!hao!ward@Berkeley BELL: 303-497-1252 USPS: POB 3000, Boulder, CO 80307
