Q: How chinese people give names to their children?

A1: Upon childbirth, the parents collect assorted metal objects
(i.e., spoons, knives, cooking pots) and throw them on the
floor. The resulting sound (i.e., Ding Kling Tang) is the name.

A2: (more crude, for rural areas): Upon childbirth, the parents
throw the baby out of the window. The resulting sounds
(i.e., Yeah, Hoo Bang) is the child's name.
