The disease of RA81's finally hit darkest Kent on Sunday at 1128GMT.
We lost the disc which the spool directory lives on and have had
to revert to a dump tape from 1800 GMT on Thursday 28th Feb.

Mail and news which had not been relayed was lost - sorry all.

Some mail was re-transmitted - just in case.

All I can say is:

Kirk McKusick's dump/restore programs WORK. The dumps were done
on live systems.

Would have been better to have a RA81 driver which handles bad
blocks tho........
