I believe another of Tesla's patents includes AND and OR logic gates.
Seems he found them usefull for some control problems he was working on.  

Apparently, his patent went entirely without notice until some researchers
tried to patent the logic gates in the 30's (or 40's) and discovered that
Tesla had patented the gates some 30 years before!
