I have only had sex with one guy who didn't ask beforehand. The other guys didn't outright ask, but the topic came up somehow and they knew I was on the Pill. The one guy who didn't ask never really cared for me at all. I'm still not sure what I saw in him, but it was a very short relationship. I was under the impression that caring guys asked and volunteered to do their share. But then again, I've never had intercourse when I haven't been on the Pill. We (various partners and I) have used condoms a couple of times just to see what it was like. It wasn't as good as not using them, but it sure beats not using any contraception. I've heard the phrase "like taking a shower in a raincoat." :-) Beth Katz
