The only one that comes to mind is Frank Zappa. Well, Dire Straits, while not of the older "art-rock" era, has cranked out one or two. Telegraph Road off of -Love over Gold- is about 14 minutes, telling a story and not just stringing words together. Come to think of it, these guys would fit in quite well in the early 70's - long, overblown and pretentious (and I love 'em!). Joe Leonard
