Last week, I mentioned that Tower Records in NYC is having
a CD sale until March 13. Well, now I have some addenda and details.
First, the Uptown store at 66th and B'way is cheaper than the
downtown store (B'way and W.4th) for some labels, such as Telarc
and Chandos. Second, here are some price comparisons for the
uptown store and the Compact Disc Center:

Label Tower price CDC price

Delos $11.99 $14.99
Denon, Nonesuch,
RCA 11.99 12.99
London, Philips,
DGG, Argo 12.99 14.99
Telarc 15.99 14.99
Angel 11.99 13.99
Chandos 15.99 15.99
Teldec, ProArte 12.99 14.99

Conclusion: go to Tower (even though it hurts) for lower prices.
