In response to requests for recipes and recipe books I would
highly recommend the following "book" put together by the
Indian Women's Association of Pullman, Washington:

	Recipes from India

which you may order from:

	Seethah Pooviah
	NW 745 Darrow
	Pullman, WA 99163

I think its a neat book because it has a comprehensive glossary
of Indian food/spice names which are mapped to names of foods and
spices available in Grocery stores in America. Where foods/spices
are unavailable substitutes are suggested.

Another feature of this book is that there are recipes
from a wide cross-section of the Indian landscape, provided by
Women from respective parts of India....which is about as authentic
as you can get!

Finally, for the diet/protein conscious amongst us, there is a chapter
on nutrition information for basic ingredients in Indian cooking!

I can't pass this opportunity to congratulate the Indian Women from
Pullman, Washington!
