CROSS is a cross assembler that runs on the DEC-20. It was developed
at Carnegie-Mellon, but I'm not sure if it's in the public domain.
Cross assembles 6502 code, as well as 8080, Z80, 6800, and several
others. I believe that DEC does distribute CROSS, but again, I'm not
sure. (By the way, CROSS was used to write Kermit for the Commodore
64.)
