a "graphic" equalizer?
A friend of mine bought a reel-to-reel tape deck, and the
guy at the shop he brought it from told him something
to the effect that you should *always* use a parametric
equalizer for recording.  This sounds like a snow job to me,
but I would still like to know what this thing is.
