From the 2/4/85 COMPUTERWORLD:
Microsoft Corp. has announced a hardware/software expansion unit that
allows a Macintosh to be connected to as many as five peripherals. The
Macenhancer (no kidding!) apparently multiplexes on of the serial ports
into three serial and one parallel ports. Comes with Terminal emulation
software and printer drivers. Available after Feb 15 for $249. Sounds
like just the ticket for those who want two printers, a modem and a LAN
all hooked up at once.
The next page has an article with the headline "Apple's Lisa 7/7
scores highest in integrated micro software test". Oh, well.......
