Huh?  I believe this "pecuniary history" argument was successfully
dismissed by the suggestion that people should have health insurance.

And yes, Gary Benson, I am somewhat miffed about dollars taken from
me to let a large wasteful government spend it with as much care
as you'd use your company's expense account (except THEY don't have
to account for it!).

PEOPLE CAN TAKE BETTER CARE OF THEMSELVES THAN THE GOVERNMENT CAN!
And if they don't want to take care of themselves, that's their choice
and I don't want to reward them for their own stupidity.
