The 4.2BSD manual entry that claims that lseek returns an
integer and takes an integer argument for its offset is *wrong*!
The system call itself (in the kernel) takes the arguments

	int	fd;
	off_t	off;
	int	sbase;

(off_t is typedef'd to int in , but this is a system-
dependent file.)
