The CDC HAS kermit! Write to the guys at Columbia Univers. For
correct address see fa.info-kermit

If !kermit then
	I wrote a bunch of (unix) software in the past
	for a punchroom with 6 typists. 
	I did not use any protocol I wrote
	a simple program that would logon to the cyber
	and send it twice and compare the result
	Just parse the result from the cyber.

	COMMAND- good compare		@ it is okay
	COMMAND- bad compare		@ try all over again

	people were quite happy with it and their production was
	quite a lot of data per day.
