Since there doesn't seem to be anyone particularly responsible for
keeping track of groups in the Ontario distribution, I thought I'd
send this out. Following is the list of groups that appear to exist
under "ont" at the moment, and my definitions for them.

ont.general Articles of general interest for all Ontario sites
ont.events Special lectures, seminars, shows, etc.
ont.jobs Job announcements, requests, etc.
ont.micro	*	Micro computers of all kinds.
ont.micro.mac	*	Apple MacIntosh micros.
ont.singles	*	Newsgroup for single people, their activities, etc.
ont.test Network testing
ont.uucp Messages of interest to uucp administrators

I think that the 3 groups marked * should be considered as candidates
for elimination. In each case there is a corresponding "net" group,
which gets more traffic. Also, in each case, the subjects are such that
a reader isn't likely to want to segregate incoming articles that are
from "ont" and that are from "net". If you want to restrict distribution
of an outgoing article, Distribution: works now. So let's dump these 3 groups.
