Lines: 7 The US Supreme Court is now hearing a challenge to the Oklahoma law that bans public school teachers from "advocating homosexuality" (a nonsensical phrase, broadly construed; the law is a clone of the infamous Briggs Initiative of California that was soundly defeated at the polls in 1978). Harvard Law School professor Lawrence Tribe is arguing the case for (I think) the National Gay Rights Lobby. A decision isn't expected until spring or summer.
