Here in St. Louis, we are infested with Jack In The Boxes -- there's one a block from my house. They are actually improving over the years; I've been able to find something edible in them lately, though I still avoid them on principle. Some around here seem to be dying off (one near a local highschool has become a Dairy Queen); however, I thought they were owned by Ralston Purina, which is St. Louis based. Are those West Coast stores being sold off, and the new owners changing the name, or what? Will Martin USENET: seismo!brl-bmd!wmartin or ARPA/MILNET: wmartin@almsa-1.ARPA
