I worked on and saved a 40 page(!) document on MacWrite 3.8 and then did a
save. Twenty(!) minutes later the disk moved and everything was fine. Could
someone please explain what MacWrite is doing for those 20 minutes? This was
on a fat Mac. While editing nothing was particularly slow, only the save.
(Irrelevantly, I think, I was using MAC SPELL RIGHT. That's where I got 3.8,
from Assimilation Process Inc. By the way, if you add words to the
dictionary, there is no way to take them out! In your document or the
dictionary.)
