Note that I don't mean which line of the file (that can be determined from (current-column)), but the physical line on the terminal screen where the cursor rests. In other words, if this hypothetical function was called "current-screen-line", then the following expression would be a no-op: (dot-to-x-y (current-column) (current-screen-line)) Please send your brilliant solutions by mail.
