bug-a-loo

Just a comment here about spanking.

My (step) sister had Mom fully trained not to spank when she
joined the family. Apparently, she did this by crying
(she had the art of crying to be mean down pat), cursing,
physical violence, and accusations of "you hate me!"

In our family, the norm was spanking when you got out of line,
rather a rude awakening for her (and Mom: what are you doing to
my kid!). She also would get pushed around by her new
brothers and sisters when they thought she was out of line.

The result? My sister is the best of the bunch!
