A sudden thought came to mind, and I would like to put this in front of the usenet readership in general: One of the awards looking for nominations is the Grace Murray Hopper Award. This is awarded to "the outstanding young computer professional of the year... selected on that basis of a single recent major technical or service contribution". Considering the amount of work that Mark puts into keeping Usenet humming, and the amount of benefit a large percentage of computer users nationwide get from Usenet I feel that Mark deserves a nomination for the Grace Hopper award. If you agree with me (or disagree with me, for that matter) let me know-- if there is support for this I will put together the nomination and forward all supporting letters with it. chuq -- From the ministry of silly talks: Chuq Von Rospach {allegra,cbosgd,hplabs,ihnp4,seismo}!nsc!chuqui nsc!chuqui@decwrl.ARPA National Semiconductor does not require useless disclaimers on posted material that is obviously not posted by company spokesmen...
