I have posted a version that was taken off of compuserve, in the file
RESEDIT.HCX.1. I have second thoughts about posting files that
are available to a wide number of people elsewhere, but  I received
several particular requests for it. I would be curious about reader's
perception of the benefit of duplicating the postings on other networks.
Further there is probably a choice to be made in the near future about 
how long programs should reside in the  dirrectory, and It would
be best if there was a simple rule about this. Again comments are welcome.

Also MACHP.C is now correctly renamed MACHP.PAS
