There is a SONY video recorder which can play both PAL and NTSC modes. (For those who don't know, this means European & U.S.). I have seen models in stores in New York (City), but SONY Corporation of America claims that they do not sell them here and they are not allowed to be sold in the U.S. Besides possible service problems, what other problems might I encounter if I buy one of these things? By the way, they were in a box with Arabic writing on it, and sell for around $400. Thanks in advance. Brian Siritzky, siritzky@csd2.ARPA ...cmcl2!csd2!siritzky
