I'm afraid that I, in too many instances, fall into Dick's second category.

On reflection (no Nyquistian pun intended) I'm afraid if my ill-considered
outburst ("only authoritative, guaranteed 100% correct spoutings on Usenet,
all others to be humble petitioners") were granted, we'd have lost what makes
net such an appealing *social* forum (at least for me), one where anyone can
pipe up and enjoy the resulting melee and no one need fear instantaneous
authoritative get-to-the-back-of-the-class squelching. Not to mention the
certainty that I'd be among the first to make an irretrievable fool of myself.
