Subj; "pre-commercial" Laurie Anderson albums

I'll answer here in net.music, since the question was asked
here. But basically, she's a classical composer playing with pop
influences (sort of like Warhol played with commercial art).

Older Anderson pieces include - 'New York Social Life' and
'Time to go home' on an album called 'Electronic music by Women
Composers' (or something like that).

'Airwaves' is a collection (2 records) of sound-pieces by
various artists. She has a couple of tunes on that ('It's not the
bullet that kills you, it's the hole' is my favorite).

Sorry, I don't know the record labels off hand. I have them
at home, if anyone's interested.

The older stuff is delightfully sloppy and home-made sounding.
