Hi,

I'm looking for pointers to something that I was told was previously
discussed on this list. If anyone remembers the details, please send them to
me (...!bbncca!jsol, jsol@bbnccv.arpa).

The problem is that sometimes when I am connected to our system,
over the Internet, through one or more gateways, some of the data gets
retransmitted and I end up with two copies of it on my screen. It looks
somewhat like this:

The rain in spain falls mainly on the plain, and the snoThe rain
in spain falls mainly on the plain, and the snow falls mainly in or near the
mountains.

(Note the "snoThe rain" part.)

I was told that this bug had been fixed in the BBN TCP code, if so
could someone send me that fix? Thanks.
