I have no idea if it's still in print. I first read it in a hardcover edition borrowed from the library manymany years ago. I own a paperback copy which I bought around 1972, which I think was published by the Scholastic Book Service. I think there's another book of the same title by either Leinster or White, which this one is not to be confused with.
