Dr. Westphall called Jack into his office and informed him that the
board decided not to revoke his license, but to let him stay on while
completing two years of class work.  Jack thanked him for pulling for
him and Westphall told him that it was Joan Halloran who did the
crusading for Jack to the board.  When Jack left, Westphall warned him
that if he screwed up, Westphall would be all over him.  Westphall is
still upset about all this and I think he might make life miserable
for Jack Morrison.  Things are going to be pretty tough as it is with
him trying to complete two years of class work, working at the hospital,
and taking care of Pete.  It's going to be interesting to see if his
girlfriend pitches in or bails out.
