Isaac Asimov did this one best; the story concerns a man, Mr. Stein,
who robs a bank, jumps into a time machine, and re-emerges seven
years later (after the statute of limitations has expired).  They
arrest him anyway, but the judge's verdict is
	"A niche in time saves Stein."
