(gobble...)
Does anyone out there have any info on the mac internals (hardware)
I have read the DDJ fat-mac upgrade article and intend to do just that as soon
as I can afford it. But it would be nice to be able to run those programs that
will depend on having 512k heap as well as having a RAM-disk. I intend to also
put in another 512k for use as a RAM-disk (at $250-300 its cheaper than another
floppy and far far far faster...). What I want to know is the following

	- How does the mac drive its ram chips, in particular what to the
SEL A and SEL B lines do.

	- Where in memory is free, it seems that there must be a lot of double
	  mapping going on.

	- Can the power supply handle the extra load (it should be able to after
all it powers the second floppy)

	- Will I need a extractor fan, things get pretty hot alread, esp near
	  the analog board...

Also wouldn't it be nice to have a CMOS/bubble memory 'disk' inside the
Mac with battery backup ...

		Thanks in advance
