([sic] (I believe it should be Christians) >I do not understand, why would someone want to be a Christian and >a homosexual. That is the same as saying, Hi, I am a Christian rapist, >or Christian murderer, or a Christian adulterer. You can't follow Jesus >and still remain in sin. *** Karen (and any others who agree with her nonsense), you are now standing *** two feet in front of an open blast furnace!!!!! NOW WAIT JUST A MINUTE!!!!!!! To equate homosexuality with rape, murder, or adultery is just too #$%*(! much for me to accept without comment. Besides, homosexuality does necessarily imply sexual activity. If that were the case, than heterosexuality would also have to imply sexual activity. One can be attracted to someone else of the same sex without any overt sexual activity involved. Maybe that's a surprise to you! >"This is the message we have heard from Him and proclaim to you, that God > is light and in Him is no darkness at all. If we say we have fellowship > with Him while we walk in darkness, we lie and do not live according > to the truth." I John 1:5-6 >Sure people try to justify all kinds of sin in the Bible but Jesus still >does not approve. And I'm sure you don't either! >It is not right to treat a gay person as a non-human being. A Christian >is required to deal with all people in love whether we agree with what >they do or not. I accept people but not necessarily their lifestyle. OH????? Then you must also accept rapists, murderers, and adulterers, but not their lifestyle. Hey, get with it! What in hell are you saying anyway. I'm sorry, but I can't accept the idea of my next door neighbor murdering his wife! nor raping my sister! nor cheating on his wife for that matter! In every case, he is inflicting harm on an innocent person. Who is the homosexual hurting? You're confusing the heck out of me in less than thirteen sentences! >I did not use the examples of murderer to say that homosexuality is the >most disgusting sin or anything like that. The point is you can't >even be a Christian liar, or Christian Satan worshipper. If you didn't intend to equate homosexuality with murder, rape, or adultery, then why did you? I think I know why! Simply for the effect! Sure to grab the attention of many! Along with the access privilege to the net lies some responsibility for objectivity and fair play. Using ridiculous comparisons simply for their shock value is not an indication of responsible use of the net. I suggest that you owe every homosexual on the net an apology for this crass, ludicrous, and highly insulting comparison. But I wouldn't suggest they hold their breath waiting for it. >Light and darkness do not mix. To be a follower of Jesus we must live >by His teachings and ways. Then why don't you? It takes a little more than setting yourself up in a pristine environment and going to church every Sunday. I thought that deeply rooted in Christianity was the concept of only God can forgive? "Judge yee not lest yee not be judged!" To say that every homosexual on the net is most likely deeply offended by your insensitive and ridiculous comparisons would be an understatement! >In Jesus love, >karen alias larryg You dare sign your absurd posting with, "In Jesus love," How hypocritical! I suggest that you haven't the faintest notion of what "In Jesus love" really means. If I had only this posting from which to determine what "In Jesus love" means, I would seriously consider becoming an agnostic! for the moment, not as ever, j.r. {allegra, seismo}!rochester!ritcv!jrc
