In New York City we haven't seen the new doctor (Colin Baker)
or the last of Turlough, but it's been obvious since his first
episode that he is (was) not an English schoolboy. Throughout
his first show he remarks that he wants to get back to his own
planet and how he can't stand Earth! (To each his own!)

"Doctor, we just can't go dragging about the
Universe with a dormant Gravis on the console!"
