A fellow employee bought what I thought was a very clever and
inexpensive anti-theft device for his car stereo.  It was
nothing more than a facade that plugged into the cassette
opening and completely covered the cassette player, making
it look like an el-cheapo AM radio.  I think his speakers were
under-the-dash units, so they were already out of sight.
