I don't understand why the emphasis is on *choosing between* sex and
hugging/cuddling.  Why not have *both*?

The quotes seem to indicate that some women like sex, and some don't,
and this determines which choice they made (nobody says anything about
not liking cuddling).

It disturbs me that the women quoted who don't like sex invariably seem
to blame it entirely on the man.  Were all of these men so completely
obstinate or insensitive that they just didn't care whether their
wives/lovers enjoyed sex, and were unresponsive to all attempts by
the women to change that?  Or must the women bear some responsibility too?
