About 4 years ago, I helped my then-SO start a company. We worked 16
hours a day and all the weekends, and the company is now reasonably successful.
I don't work there any more, and don't have *any* good feelings about
my ex-SO. Having him as the boss led him to treat me like dirt; I now
seriously wonder whether he ever cared for me at all, or just wanted
a slave. I would not recommend having a co-worker as your SO.

Incidentally, this guy also hired a couple of friends from university.
They no longer work for him, and are definitely not friends any more.
