I've never found Cyndi Lauper to be offensive.  As a matter of fact,
I rather enjoy her music as a break from the usual mundane droning on
the radio.

Even if her music could be interpreted in it's worst context (and I
firmly DO NOT), that does not warrant personal attacks on the woman's
character.  If one believes that it does, let's just remember that
those interpretations may be your's and not her's.  Who's to be
criticized here?
