I don't have hack source (as do 90% of the people playing it it seems) and am having a few problems playing it. First is that I am using an adm3a and messages and inventory, etc. do not get erased and clutter up my screen so that I resort to redraws all the time. Is there a way to tell hack what kind of terminal I am on. Rogue and vi and all the other niftie screen stuff works great except for hack. How about instructions, what keys do what? How does one blow a whistle and what do all those gems do? Darin Johnson UCSD center for evaluating usefulness of centers.
