We are setting up a 'Birds of a Feather' session on
Distributed Computing to be held Wednesday night, January
23 from 7-9pm in the Fairmont Hotel (room to be announced
later). So far the following people have agreed to
participate:
	Tom Truscott, Research Triangle Institute
	Ray Essick, University of Illinois
	Doug Comer, Purdue University

We are looking for other interested persons to give brief
(10 minute) talks on aspects of distributed computing. For
example, Tom Truscott will discuss surviving in a heterogeneous
environment. In addition, there will be an informal free-wheeling
panel discussion afterwards. Volunteers for the panel discussion
are also welcome. (An overhead projector for view graphs will be
provided.)

If interested please contact us as soon as possible. See you there!
