Since some indicated an interest on how our case of TVI was solved, here it is:

As you recall, The cities of Batavia and Geneva, IL. were experiencing a severe
case of TVI to channel 5 (Chicago). 

I located the source as being a 75.8 MHz paging transmitter on the East side
of Geneva (30 watts).

The FCC finally investigated and confirmed what I had found, that the transmitter
was clean and it was a case of adjacent channel interference.

The FCC issued them a citation and have given them 90 days to relocate their
transmitter. I was told yesterday by the FCC that the transmitter will be
moved to Sears tower.
