I have just recently installed news version B 2.10.2 and am experiencing
some difficulty with 'expire'. It seems that whenever expire is run it
hits a Segmentation Violation on a malloc call. Sometimes this will
produce a core dump, sometimes not. I Looked at a back trace with adb to
find the failing malloc call but I don't know what to do about it.

I have had to increase the size of 'BUFLEN' and 'LBUFLEN' to 512 and
2048 respectively to overcome other Segmentation Violations in 'inews'.
This fix seems to have worked there, but not for 'expire'.

I am running news on a Motorola 68000 v7 type system, most everything else
seems to be okay except for the fact that it seems my system wants to send
articles it receives from my news feed, back to the feed system after
posting them? This can't be right.

Any help will be greatly appreciated...

Thanks in advance!
