I'd recommend it. I've been a ham for a long time and an SWL for even longer, and because of various deed restrictions and some previous financial difficulty I sold off all my high freq ham gear about four years ago. Since then, I've had a hankering to listen again, so went out and bought a 7600D at 47th St. Photo (about $195 and worth it). With the external antenna it comes with strung out and clipped in my backyard, this little radio works at least as well as some of the HF gear I used to have. Go ahead and get one. I no nothing, however, about the other radios you mentioned. -- --Dwight Ernest KA2CNN \ Usenet:...vax135!timeinc!dwight Time Inc.
