Even with 'Don't record lines off top' and 'Clear lines off top' selected, there is an almost intolerable amount of disk activity. Is there any way to stop this ? Plainly, there should be a 'Dumb terminal' menu item which should just push characters without all the disk trundling. Apple, are you listening ? -------
