It comes out sometimes when a command is given, then another message comes where the 5th digit from the end has increased, then usually after 5-10 messages it will work again. Around the same time ps -aux started to give core dumps. All this started around a week after mkdir mysteriously started to work again. A lot of strange things seems to be happening.
