Precedent is the assumption that someone else, somewhere else, who
didn't know what was going to happen later, is somehow better suited
for deciding what you should do than you are.

(My own feelings are that net.women.only has a blatantly offensive
title & writeup in net.announce.newusers, but that I won't post to it
...excluding accidents when I use followup & don't read the 
distribution line.)
