Lines: 21 Summary: It's about time the motor gliders were taken into account, I have seen FBOs' make claims that "glider pilots can fly places that have in the past only been reachable by power aircraft pilots" This is a way of thinking that can lead to getting in real trouble. I have taken training in both power planes and gliders, the methods of recovering from problems are different, something you better know by instinct. If you are to depend on the ability of a motor glider to fly like a power airplane, you better know how to fly power airplanes. So much for my first posting to the network. -- Bob Ollerton; Celerity Computing; 9692 Via Excelencia; San Diego, Ca 92126; (619) 271 9940 {decvax || ucbvax || ihnp4}!sdcsvax!celerity!bobbyo akgua!celerity!bobbyo
