	Hi. I think you may have missed his argument.   In biological
survival terms women could pass their genes maximally with one sexual
encounter per 10 month period. There is no value in the partner being
different, and to the extent that man is social ( this varies widely,
from culture to culture ) a SINGLE partner may be better for the ties
that long term relationships can provide. She has a limit of about 25
children that she might possibly bear.
      Men, however are under no such progeny limitation, and in cases
of extensive arab harems it is easy to see one man sire hundreds  and
hundreds of children. Thus a simple biological imperative may develop
in the sexes in  differing amounts  according  to the  possibility of
its fruition.
