Bourgeat is closing out its line of `Gourmet' and `Commercial' nickel-
lined copper pots at 50% off retail, direct from the distributor, shipping
included.  I am passing along this announcement because it seems like an
opportunity not to be missed.  (I do not benefit personally.)

They will soon be coming out with a stainless-lined series which will
retail at 10-15% more than the old line, that is, about 2.2 times the
closeout price.  The distributor believes that the nickel lining should
last about 5 years before requiring retinning in home use; the warranty
is for 1 year on the lining, and 30 on the cookware.

The Gourmet line is 1.4mm solid copper lined with nickel; the Commercial
line is 2.5mm.  At these prices, everyone who wants copper should be
able to afford it.
