For several days, I've heard this very peculiar signal:

unidentified: several hours of what sounds like audio feedback, with varying p
                       itch, am, @1850Z
                       [location?]__________  14.5630____call?     (B. Parnass)

Can anyone identify the source of this persistent signal? It's quite strong
here in northeastern Illinois.  Is it some type of speech scrambling?

I've heard it on two different receivers 8 miles apart, so it's
not generated by some neighbor's appliance.
