I always sign letters to friends, either male or female,

				Love,
				 Joe

When writing business letters or other nasty-grams, I sign differently,
and usually spend a lot of time trying to decide what the best way to
sign is. However, I have fallen out of the correspondence habit
recently...when I was corresponding, I remember that I felt slightly
self-conscious when I signed letter *to* male friends with "love", but
I did it anyway, since I felt it was more appropriate. I did notice
that my male friends usually did not sign letters that way, so I guess
I must be a mutant...
