Message-ID: <34200001@waltz.UUCP> Date: Wed, 9-Jan-85 15:41:00 EST Article-I.D.: waltz.34200001 Posted: Wed Jan 9 15:41:00 1985 Date-Received: Sat, 12-Jan-85 05:14:24 EST Lines: 20 Nf-ID: #N:waltz:34200001:000:628 Nf-From: waltz!lindahl Jan 9 14:41:00 1985 Pardons in advance if this is a previously-reported problem (I am fairly new to USEnet/notes): I set my character erase to the DELETE key, since I also access VMS systems here. When in a "subprompt", such as "s" (for save note to UNIX file), every time I use the DELETE key I lose two characters per keystroke. With enough DELETE keystrokes, I end up deleting the prompt! Does anyone have a simple fix for this problem? If not, I'll go ahead & try to hack it out myself.
