She went to a hearing to get her license back. It was a forgone conclusion that she would get her driving privilages restored for merely bothering to show up. They made us all sit through a little lecture where the fellow pointed out that only a small percentage of drivers ever get their driving privilages recinded because of points. That small percentage accounts for many of the accidents, much more than its share. He pointed out that people who accrue too many points have an attitude problem. It is never so important to get somewhere in a hurry that your would take any chances whatsoever in a car. I know that the experience made my wife think about her driving and she has mellowed out. The poster of the above passage said that he *voluntarily* has been driving more carefully. It seems like a pretty good idea to me. -- scc!steiny Don Steiny - Personetics @ (408) 425-0382 109 Torrey Pine Terr.
