I have seen this type of statement in several articles.  I may be
wrong, but I think only London "Bobbies" are unarmed.  As far as I
know, officers, detectives and members of Scotland Yard DO carry
weapons.  I would assume the majority of these are hand-guns.  Is
there anyone out there that *knows* the real facts?
