It may be interesting to note that in Italian the
courtesy form for "you" (singular) is "Lei" which
means "her" (and, colloqially only, "she").
"If you need to use the phone, please let me know"
would sound something like
"If her needs to use the phone, please let me know."
("Se Lei ha bisogno di usare il telefono,
me lo faccia sapere.")
"Lei" in this case is usually capitalized.
