I remember some years back that aftermarket electronic ignitions
(both CD and breakerless types) were around in great numbers.
Does anyone know where these type of units are still available?
I believe Heathkit made a CD ignition, but it doesn't seem to be in
their latest catalog.

I would like to install one in my dad's 1977 Subaru -- with 120K miles
it still runs great, but it has always required frequent tuneups (10K
intervals max.) to keep it running properly. (A 1978 Subaru I owned
was the same way. My '80 with electronic ignition goes 25K+ between
tuneups).

Any info in locating one of these units would be appreciated (prefer
breakerless but would settle for CD).
