There's a passage in the Bible saying (to paraphrase) "thou shalt
not lie with an animal." Well, as any student of legislation knows,
There wouldn't be a law against it if people didn't like to do it!
Why is it that you are disgusted by the concept of satisfying
feelings of lust via an easily procured sheep? While the cretin
who posted the original message probably has no other recourse
than to seek the companionship of fleecy bedmates, surely you don't
really wish that he would impose his base urges on some innocent
*woman*? What if he were to choose *you* for this honor? Would
you enjoy his ministrations as much as the sheep does?

Better that he should save the female half of humanity from his
carnal activity [sic!]. Is it more disgusting to take a
sheep to bed than to behead, butcher, and eat it? Turn its
guts into dog food? Is it unethical to take it to bed and *then*
behead it, etc.? I think not. There is a double standard
at work here.

If I called myself a Christian, I would consider myself to be a good
Christian, even though some may consider my lifestyle as "walking in
the darkness." But I do not live to be judged by others. I am not
ashamed of what I feel and what I think.

Why *does* the Bible proscribe bestiality?
