Yeah, and lets put all those people that the paralyzed jerk mugged, robbed,
burglarized, etc in the same room.  I'll bet the paralysis will be a very
temporary situation, closely followed by a funeral.  While I don't advocate
running around on the streets with a loaed gun (just put the clip in your
breast pocket and the gun in your hip pocket) it seems obvious that our
criminal justice system only cares about victems of crime because it gives
the lawyers involved a chance to make a few megabucks prosecuting/defending
the culprit.  Regardless of the outcome, the criminal is soon freed so he
can go out and make more buisness for lawyers.
