I have a thinkjet on my HP150, and my father just bought an IBMPC with
a thinkjet "off the shelf" (in Tulsa, OK at a "value added" (full
price) computer store (microAge)). I really like it - print quality
if pretty as long as you use inkjet paper (same price as normal paper,
allegedly), and it is remarkably quiet compared to any impact printers
I have seen. the Parallel and HP-IL version of the print have an
EPSON MX80 compatability mode, although my H{IB printer seems to lack
(at least documentation for) this printer.
