Gene is oh so right.  I've looked at the new copies, (blue cover, I believe),
and they are missing the Indoeuropean appendix.

Barnes and Noble (mailorder) has the "Heritage Illustrated Dictonary" for
something like $15.00.  My copy looks just like a large format A.H.,
split into two volumes, *with* the appendix.
