Here's something I didn't know about the super-polaris mount when I
sent out the summary.

Just thought you might consider two more factors: 

1) the super-polaris mount DOES NOT COME WITH MOTORS! the motors come with
the computer unit.  this puts you WELL above $500! also, the stepper motors
in the mount are more appropriate for visual observing than photography.

2) I have a 8" S-C and a 4" S-C, the larger for home and smaller for trips.
In retrospect, I think a single 6" S-C would be more convenient and thus
get more use.
