Has anyone noticed, within the recent cast shifts of S.E., the
disappearance of Joan Halloran from the opening credits? She is still
in the show, investigating Jack Morrison's lack of education. It
seems to me that she is only a "guest" on the show now. I wonder if
this whole episode of Jack's lack of training is another effort to
eliminate another character from St. Elsewhere. I've been watching
the show for two years and I am really having a hard time believing
that the writer's of S.E. would work so hard creating a character of
such integrity only to expose him as a quack three years down the road.
I would like to get other people's thoughts on this. Also, has anyone
noticed how much sicker Dr. Auschlander is each episode? I wonder if
he going to be another casualty of NBC's ratings game. If anyone has
any information on more cast changes, please let me know so I can be
prepared. This show is changing so much that one night I'm going to
turn it on and not even recognize it.
