Oh, >don't forget to speed up if he tries to pass you. Thats if you have the time >to waste. > Do so at your own risk, I would not. I saw a case on the Mass Pike where someone did just that. He came within about 2 inches of having a wreck since the person behind him didn't notice and just about plowed into him. You have already seen that he is an oblivious driver (he didn't notice you in the first place when he cut you off), what makes you think he will be any better when you slow down in front of him? Of course, he could have done it on purpose, but then, what is he likely to do when you are activelly trying to annoy him? How many of you have seen people commutting and doing one of the following (presumably with their cruise control on): - reading a newspaper or book - putting on makeup (using the rear view mirror) - brushing their hair (using the rear view mirror) - dialing their car phone - etc, etc Of course, there is also the zombies and crazies to watch for too. I never trust another car and never stay around someone who I think might be a dangerous driver. If I get cut off by someone I wait patiently behind him (NOT tailgating), wait for an opening (either him moving back to the right, or an opportunity to pass him on the right), then get the hell out of there.
