(from a dream I had a couple of weeks ago)

Why bother defining it? Just go read some Dorothy Parker poems while
listening to "The Magic Flute" and then go play "Black Is the Color of
My True Love's Hair" on a banjo. When you're done doing both of these
things, you should be able to define what "love" is as well as the
greatest composers and poets of history.
