But you never see them dragging them out for weeks on end. You aren't the only one who has had problems with parents/siblings/teachers/wombats, but most people moderate the whining they do in public... Your parents are people jeff.. you are under no obligation to love them, or even like them for that matter.. what they did to you is the action of one person against another... as has been said, you are an adult now (supposedly) so you should be able to put that behind you... it happened a while ago... you now have the choice - if you do not like them, then don't associate with them... there was a quote a while back... The ideal family is a group of friends with blood relations. The worst family is a group of enemies tied by blood. you have the choice whether or not you want to be in their family... another thing that bothers many people is that you steadfastly resist any offers of help... i have never seen anyone turn back more help with "but you don't understand!!!! i'm really scum!!!" well.... some of us are getting to the point where we are ready to let you stay scum, and wish you would stop asking for help and advise on our time if you arent going to listen... The Jeff Sargent Tale Of Woe is dropping fast in the NYT bestseller list.... And this concludes my first response to a JS article.... Mark Modrall mwm Dartmouth College Hanover, N.H.
