I've been looking at short wave radios also (not necessarily portable). Does anyone else have any other suggestions? I am especially interested in receiving Hebrew-language broadcasts from Kol Yisrael (the Voice of Israel). I have the following questions: Does this station have any Hebrew-language broadcasts? If not, has anyone ever received this station (especially in the mountain area of the U.S.--Colorado, New Mexico, etc.). If someone has gotten this station, what receiver were you using? Would I have any trouble receiving it with the Sony mentioned above? Thanks in advance. --- bill peter !seismo!cmcl2!lanl!wkp wkp@lanl.ARPA
