  You've missed the point of my posting. Jeff Shallit posted an article
that you didn't agree with. Rather than simply debating the point in
question you found it necessary to call Jeff an idiot. One of the biggest
problems on the Net seems to be an intolerance of other's opinions. The
purpose of the Net is to provide a forum for these opinions. 

  The reason for my tirade against your paragraph was to point out that
Jeff was not the only one with flaws. We all have them.

  My apologies to the other Netters for posting this. I shall refrain
from making any further personal postings.
