		    Research Programming Positions
			  Robotics Institute
		      Carnegie-Mellon University

We are looking for one or two programmers to be shared between the following
projects:  Autonomous Land Vehicle, Parallel Vision, and Image
Understanding.  We require a strong academic background with B.S. or M.S.
degree.  Experience with the following are all plusses:  UNIX, C, Lisp,
computer vision, robotics, large systems.  We encourage applicants with
backgrounds in EE, Mech E, Physics, or Math, as well as those with Computer
Science degrees.

This is an outstanding opportunity to get in on the ground floor of new
projects in mobile robots and parallel hardware, and to join the existing IU
group.  We have excellent facilities, including Vaxes, Perqs, and various
mobile robots, cameras, and frame buffers.  Carnegie-Mellon is an Equal
