Crate and Barrel in Cambridge (617-876-6300) has a very serviceable metal wine
rack for ~50 bottles at $22. Made of heavy-gauge wire, it looks flimsy but is
not. It can be screwed into the wall for additional (not really necessary)
stability. It will not support magnums or splits, but takes only about two
minutes to mount. They don't stack.

It is convenient, sturdy, and actually quite handsome.
