If you look at history, all three branches of government have done their fair share of robbing autonomy from citizens. The SC is visible only be cause it SEEMS to be the last resort. However, remember, any member or members of the SC can be impeached by the Congress. Since the Congress has not deigned to do this, it can be assumed that any judgement the SC passes has the implicit consent of the US Congress... Frank Adrian
