Optical Astronomy Observatories, Tucson, AZ USA Lines: 11 We have a DEC ts11 tape drive on one of our VAX-11/750s. If the system is busy, several hard tape errors will send the driver into never-never land (the process that was using the tape will be stuck in D mode and cannot be killed) and the tape drive will be unusable until the system is rebooted. Has anyone seen (and hopefully cured!) this problem? What I should really do is replace the ts11 with a second Kennedy 9300---- -- Steve Grandi, National Optical Astronomy Observatories, Tucson, AZ USA UUCP: {allegra,arizona,astrovax,decvax,hao,ihnp4,lbl-csam,seismo} !noao!grandi Arpa: noao!grandi@lbl-csam
