We are interested in ... catch the ~Midnite Sun. I assume you mean the town of Rovaniemi. It is a delightful small city just south of the Artic Circle. We stayed at a dorm for a school which was a hotel in the summer. It is just above the train station and is easy to find. Everyone goes up to a gift shop an the Arctic Circle to have their pictures taken with Laplanders and reindeer in front of the Arctic Circle sign. An even better trip is to go a little further north into Norway to Nord Kap or North Cape, the most northern point in Europe. Kirkenes is the closest town. The Midnight Sun shines on Kirkenes from May 20 to July 25. There are several very nice guesthouses near Kirkenes. The ultimate is to play golf by the midnight sun.
