I JUST realized how ******** ******** badly I botched it. Hopefully, this one does better.......... ******** I am interested in finding out if anyone has experience with putting a Weber carburetor on to a Datsun engine. What I have is a 1971 Datsun pickup truck with the L16 (1600 cc.) engine. I would like to know if there are any better alternatives to Weber. The truck must pass California smog emissions testing and the Weber carb is the only one I know of currently that is "approved" as an aftermarket product. Also, for those of you in the Bay Area (San Jose), are there any good discount auto parts shops where I might obtain the Weber or other recommended carb at a reasonable price (I have been quoted as low (?) as $230.00). Thanks in advance for the help. Send replies EMAIL. -- THE Steph'R @ National .....QUESTION : Where is the good life ??? ANSWER :___________ (Hint : Have you checked your attitude lately !!
