A little "disappointment" may be justified, but remember that *SOCIETY* has a whole has minimum acceptance of homosexuality. Unless he/she ALREADY knows you quite well, how are they to know that *you* can take an honest answer without reacting in some adverse way??? I would say that *ANY* relationship should start with getting to be friends (getting to know) by just "going around" together (or as they say in the homeland "knocking about :-}") You shouldnt consider it a "date" unless you have friendship first. What happened to the good olde dayze when people just "hung around" and then eventually made a formal "declaration of dating" to those observers around them??
