The desk calendar pads we use here have, on each page, the ordinal of the day
in the year and the number of days remaining in the year.  Unfortunately, when
this was introduced a few years ago, the front page of the calendar pad bore
the following statement to trumpet the new feature:

		 This pad has been
		   "Julian-ized"
		for the computer age
