The 1-7-85 issue of USA TODAY had an article covering the Winter CES. This article quoted the price as $1200. This doesn't seem like a substantial discount over buying two separate units. Personally, I would rather buy them separately so that I could choose the combination of features that I want. Consider, for example, that the CLD-900 displays CD information (time remaining, time into selection, index) on the *video* screen. I'm not likely to leave my TV on while I'm listening to music, so I'd rather have these displayed on the panel. Oh, well. Maybe they'll get a competitor soon. Bob Stewart ihldt!stewart
