One thing that I consider that is quite reasonable about the idea of IRA's
versus Social Security is the amount of money that the banks will have
in their "pantry".  Consider what they would do with all that money ---
certainly they won't sit on it, but will loan it out. And with all that
competition, the rates would have to go down lower.  I keep on thinking
of my fathers mortgage: 3.5 percent!!!
