I would like to know of any recent changes (last 2-3 yrs) in the
patent laws that are of particular significance to engineers.
For example, do engineers working for companies have
any additional rights aside from the agreements that they sign when
they hired?  Another example, if an individual assigns his patent to
a company (of which he is not an employee) does he still have some 
rights to his invention?  Are there circumstances under which he could
still produce and sell the invention on his own even though he
had assigned the rights to someone else?
