I quite agree with Mark Leeper's recommendation of Maltin's "TV MOVIES".
I'd like to add two notes.  First, the book contains both cinematic
movies and made-for-TV movies (and tells you which is which), so you
know when to watch out for made-for-TV remakes.

And second, it is available in two sizes.  Both contain exactly the same
material, but the larger one is on bigger pages and probably in bigger print.
It's still paperback and costs slightly over twice as much.  I bought the
large one, because I used my regular-size copy of the last edition so
much that it fell apart.
