Still working on that. I Cor. 13 is quite close, but needs to be adapted to each one's particular circumstances. > How do you know you're in Love? Ah, an easy question, for once. When *I'M* "in love", I experience an incredible increase in efficiency. I'm usually WEEKS ahead of my pre-planned work schedule. New ideas seem to flow easily and fit together beautifully to solve problems. Unfortunately, the above situation can become counterproductive with the wrong SO! A sudden, fantasic idea just BEGS to be worked out, and then she complains that I love the computer more than her! And the typical advice given to people when they break up "well, just get REALLY involved in your work." doesn't work if you're AHEAD of schedule. Also, those great ideas don't get pursued when you're heart is emotionally shot out ("They took my heart out and stomped that Sucker flat!" "If love were oil, I'd be a couple of quarts low") Facetiously now: Occasionally, I've toyed with the idea of running a personal ad, asking for ladies who would like to serve as the inspiration for a poor Ph.D. student doing his thesis. The way things are going now, that might not be a bad idea. -- Gerald Owens Georgia Insitute of Technology, Atlanta Georgia, 30332 ...!{akgua,allegra,amd,hplabs,ihnp4,seismo,ut-ngp}!gatech!gitpyr!owens
