I read an add that Tektronix (I think) is coming out with a CAD/CAM workstation based on a 32032/32016 coprocessor design, but I don't think it's UNIX based." Our "CAD/CAM workstation" is just a 320xx-based computer running a 4.2BSD port. I have one on my desk; it's a very nice little box. We added mucho bells and whistles, like a distributed file system (my neighbor's disk looks like part of my file system), the "unimplemented" memory management calls like mmap(2) and munmap(2), and, since we're Tektronix, a real Basic language implementation. -- Andrew Klossner (decvax!tektronix!orca!andrew) [UUCP] (orca!andrew.tektronix@csnet-relay) [ARPA]
