The Donkeys blew away the Seagulls. It's hard to believe that it's Monday night already and I haven't read a single article about that game. We must be having a problem getting news! But, I'm sure the Broncos still haven't convinced the skeptics yet. We'll have to blow away the 49ers in the Super Bowl by at least 4 touchdowns, or else everyone will still say, "the Broncos are lucky". Right, Larry? Speaking of lucky, do you believe the last two minutes of the Dallas- Miami game? A typical Cowboy play, that tipped pass to Tony Hill. It would have to be either that or a 50-yard pass interference call. That's the way Landry bribes the refs and/or opposing players! :-) :-) :-) As a Bronco fan and Cowboy hater, that game was a no-lose situation for me. It will be very enjoyable not to have to listen to revoltingly pro-Dallas CBS announcers do Dallas playoff games. We'll just have to suffer with revoltingly anti-Bronco NBC announcers instead. Obviously I'm prejudiced, but I really think all the CBS announcers like Dallas. They are even more pro-Cowboys than Don Meredith, who at least has an excuse. Of course, if the Cowboys had won, then the inevitable Miami-Denver AFC championship game would have been played in Denver instead of Miami (as Frank Gifford felt obligated to point out at least 50 times tonight). I still think it's amazing that the Cowboys have won so many games over the years when I've been rooting against them, and the only two times I ever rooted *for* them, they lost (tonight, and a year or two ago when they played the Raiders).
