Just a few nights ago, I did just that with someone whom I hope
will become my SO. After cooking dinner together and then going out to
a movie, we sat in my car and then in my living room, just cuddling and
talking for three or four hours. Very enjoyable, and definately to be
recommended as a means of getting to know someone well. We hit it off
very well, and it is just my bad luck, that I am now out of North Carolina
for two weeks on vacation, but I expect to see more of this young lady
soon enough.
I agree with what Beth said and feel that I must add that really
getting to know someone well, seems to be glossed over much too quickly
in many relationships (perhaps in part explaining the high incidence of
divorce? possibly.). In any event, I've done it before and I'll do it
again, without a doubt.
