Then you seem to support the "preserving [of] the moral vitality of what remains of the Judaeo-Christian ethic". My question: What is wrong with using quotes from people who make sense in ANY topic of argument??? Does that mean that I now cannot quote YOU??? Rich Rosen made the same objection. It's pure merde! I'm not shy about quoting someone else if I think they have made a clear statement that bears on the topic. Why should you be?
