I have just heard that Lord Shatner will be in STIV. Kudos to the
guys with the money. As for a movie without Captain Kirk, I have
a solution:

What if, on the long walk back to StarFleet Headquarters, Kirk got
lost? McCoy, Scotty, and the rest of the gang could go look for him,
right?
So what if Kirk ends up dead at the hands of some dastardly villain?
Then they don't need Shatner, right?

Of course, they would have to call the next movie STAR TREK V: THE
WRATH OF THE CONSUMERS (who have all been paying upwards of Four Bucks
to see STAR TREK IV).

Forgive the final ramblings of a victim of the wicked final exams...

	"Space...the final frontier.
These are the voyages of the starship Enterprise,
its five-year mission: to explore strange new
worlds...to seek out new life-forms and new
civilizations...to boldly go where no man has
        gone before!"
"And also to get Captain Kirk laid..."

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Beer...
