I recently decided to get a set of metric sockets for my craftsman tool
set. Looking through the Sears catalog I found a nice set for $34.95 and
went down to the local Store to see if they had it. They did, same set, same
Sears part number, price $49.95. Well I guess you have to pay for those lights
somehow.

My general experience has been that Sears Retail charges from 10 to 30%
more than Sears Catalog for any given item. You have to pay Shipping for
catalog orders but most of the time you come out ahead ( unless the retail
store is having a sale). Never buy anything until you find out what it would
cost via the catalog desk.
