Although the question of religious people leaving early friday sounds
instigative to me, I will answer it anyway. There are many possibilities,
you work it out with your employer:

1) you are hired and recieve the same pay even though you leave early
Friday. (I had such an arrangement my first job)

2) You work as a consultant, and don't bill for the hours you were not
at work. (Which I do now).

3) You make up the lost hours as free overtime for the company when
they need it.

**** I know people who accomplish more in on day than those who stay
overtime for a week. 3 lost hours on friday won't make a difference
for a good worker.
