A recent addition to my bag of tricks is a pair of silk
long-johns. They are incredibly light in weight, they aren't bulky,
and they seem to keep me about as warm as a regular-old
pair of "Fruit-of-the-Loom" cotton long-johns.

I've never tried polypropolene -- I'd appreciate hearing
a comparison from someone who's tried both.
