R+D, Santa Monica Lines: 11 Summary: I occasionally (not always) feel "bitchy, rotten, and miserable" for the three or four days UNTIL my period starts. I'e found that taking vitamin B plus C helps considerably. (A vitamin nut book I once read claimed vitamin B soothed the nerves and was generally useful for people who were pregnant, menstruating, doing grass or acid or other drugs, overtired, and generally under stress. I've urged it on friends under such conditions over the years since and gotten generally favorable results.) I've noticed that when my period finally starts, the tension level gets lower. And my dreams/daydreams get more vivid. --Lee Gold
