I don't want to get into this too much here, but it sounds like Jeff should at
least look around for other churches that have fellowships where new people
are made welcome.  Either that, or as you say, open up a little more.

Before I graduated from college, I was pretty able to say the same thing, be-
cause I had a lot of friends and a good fellowship.  Now, not having as good a
fellowship and being on my own, I do feel alone sometimes.  I'm glad that your
needs are being met by Jesus and your friends but that doesn't mean Jeff has
no need for a SO.

This is true.  Jeff, if you are listening, I wouldn't try to apply too much of
the advice you get from the net (no offense, net.people) because a lot of them
are not Christians and are not acquainted with your needs, or with what the
Christian walk entails.  You should probably try finding another church with
a good singles fellowship -- the church I belonged to while in college had one
(which I never attended) but I was told was really good.
