I tried that once, Jeff-- trust me, it doesn't work. For a relationship as
complex as a working marriage, you really need time to find the quirks. If
you look at why marriages fail, it isn't major issues-- it is because he
squeezes the toothpaste in the middle, it is because she hogs the covers,
it is because neither really communicated on the 'little' issues that kill
most relationships. What IS instantaneously obvious is the physical
chemistries-- those ugly little hormones that raise their little heads at
inconvenient times. Important? yes (definitely, yes!) but also a minor part
of a real relationship. Find someone you can be a friend with, first, and
let tomorrow worry about itself later...
