True, but there are certain highly changable standards on what is and isn't
appropriate for any given topic. I feel, and others seem to as well, that
it stepped over the line. Taking the 'n' key concept to an extreme, why not
just have a single group called 'net' and use the 'n' key a lot? There
comes a time when a discussion may have moved too far afield to be really
appropriate for the place it is in-- it is then best to move it or drop it
because it becomes an irritant or a distraction from the main reasons for
reading the group.
