	There has been a lot of talk about the insecurity of being
	alone.  I feel that identifying a person as an SO, that is as
	your special friend is perhaps the most limiting thing you can
	do.
		A special friend or lover imposes all sorts of demands
 on you that otherwise do not exsist.  And in addition, most
 relationships seem to require a certain level of abstinance from other
 relationships, even ones at a more superficial level.
	I do not have much time for the people who complain of being
 alone.  These are the same people who complain about the relationships
 that they are in and life in general.
	My favorite evening is to take out a person for the first time,
 have a pleasant dinner and get to know the person.  
	
	Relationships tend to offer security more than anything else,
 and the security they offers takes away from many of the things in life
 that are most fun.
