We're thinking of writing a program to let a VAX 11/780 write or read
OS-9 format floppies. To do this, it seems likely that we'd need to
know what is in those four bytes in the middle of the path descriptor
option section (which is copied in from the id sector or file
descriptor sector) that are, so far as we know, undocumented.

(These are the bytes between PD.SAS, the segment allocation size, and
PD.ATT, the file attributes.)

If anyone knows what those might be, please post or mail the information.
