For some good irish folk music, the "Plough & Stars" Irish pub
in Sanf Francisco is a great place to go. I live across the street
and practically live there most nights. Really good local (Bay Area)
talent 7 nights a week, with a special "Jam session" every sunday
night at 9:30. That's where anyone is allowed to just sort of wander
in with the instrument of their choice and play with everyone else.
Usually about 10 - 15 people show up, and I consider this the highlight
of the week.

No, I don't own stock! I'm just fond of the place.

Plough & Stars
Between 2nd & 3rd on Clement St.
San Francisco, Ca. 94118

Almost never a cover charge except for certain groups, then
it's around $1.50.. Ales & stouts on tap, *slurp*..
