  Hell yes it's different! As one who has gone back and forth between
those two states three times this year (and is not very proud of that fact),
I can personally say it's a *lot* different for me. I think life with an SO is a
lot more like being married than being truly single. A commitment to another 
person does not require a piece of paper, and definitely changes your life.
It's also nice to have sex now and then, and to know what you are going to
do on Saturday night. I could go on, but I think I've stated my case.
