I would like an intermediate "buffer" to keep some distance between
systems, such as a site which produced hardcopy and mailed it
to the president/staff, sorted by issue.

In fact, why stop there? All public representatives (state, federal)
and offices should be accessible to constituents by email. It would
certainly increase our participation in the government.

Of course, you'd need someone to volunteer to maintain the liason
(not me :-). If Apple can donate computers to ghetto kids and
Fortune can help satellite news get off the ground, perhaps a
un*x-vested company would like to pick up on this "public service"
as a good pr gesture.
