I recently received a letter from an old roommate of mine who informed me
that, on a weekend recently, he inspected 350 females to see if they were
virgins.  I was quite astonished that he had managed to get this job.

However, it turns out they were female moths ... he is an entomologist,
after all.

(Incidently, it turns out that that not too many of them were virgins;
such is the sorry state of virtue amongst moths :-) )
