At the time I would have voted to shot all drunk drivers. The guy hit us head on at high speed and could have very easily killed my wife, two daughters and myself. Even after my experience I would fight any unfair treatment of sick people who abuse achohol or anything else for that matter. I think a more intelligent approach would be to use firm discipline, punish- ment, and etc. to keep people from developing antisocial behavior patterns.
