The Ethernet Fusion software which we are currently using does not come
with any electronic mail capabilities. Does anyone know of a way to
transparently make mail, uucp, and Ethernet software play together?

What has come to mind is somehow telling uucp (via L.sys?) that for systemX
you invoke "rlogin systemX" (as this follows the paradigm of telling uucp
that for systemY dial xxxx or for systemZ do nothing (direct connect)).
Other alternatives? No way to do it transparently? How does smtp work?

Thanks
