[Out Vile Jelly!]

A couple of weeks ago I more or less stumbled onto this newsgroup (I changed
machines and had to semi-recreate my .newsrc). It looked like it might be
interesting seeing as I am now in computers do to an early interest in
electronics.

But you people are one of the noisest groups yet.

Apart from umpteen conflicting ideas on the simple capacitor, all the rest is
just flaming each other, with all concepts of politeness vanquished to limbo
(that's an exagerration - there are some of you who are quite reserved).

Why does a potentially interesting newsgroup have to drown in so much drivel?

It's definitely time for the old unsubscribe command.
