    The newest version of Kermit (v2.27) for the IBM-PC and MS-DOS
has a "logging" option that allows the PC to record the session without
using the file transfer protocol, added for systems that don't yet have
Kermit.  It allows you to use the (excellent) terminal emulation that
Kermit provides.  If you can get it onto your display screen, you can
capture it (and monitor for noise bursts as it comes in).
