I still can't believe DEC made no effort whatsoever to make SMG$ and
the old SCR$ package compatible for foriegn terminals.  For those of
you who didn't go to DECUS or didn't go the to right sessions, there's
NO WAY to have a non-DEC terminal that supports both SMG$ and SCR$ at
the same time.  Since half the version 4 utilities use SMG$ and half
use SCR$, it's going to be tough to use foriegn terminals until all
uses of SCR$ are stamped out.  I'd guess that will take about 20 years.

I wish DEC would stop trying to sell VT100's and VT200's.  Even if I
could dictate what terminals we buy here, I wouldn't recommend either
of those two dogs.  It's enough to drive one to UNIX....
