I've seen advertised outfits that will "redo" your Mac, replacing the monitor
with a larger screen or a projector (at a hefty price, of course).  I think
the December issue of Personal Computing, which has a section on the Mac, has
an article on things such as this.  Thumb through Macworld also; there may be
ads for such devices.

It can be done, it seems.  Unfortunately, I can't tell you how to do it.
