I am currently developing a version of the Internet Domain Name Server
system. These servers will form an Arpanet-wide distributed database
system which will soon replace the old "/etc/hosts" mechanism for
providing information about hosts in the Arpanet. This sytem (called
"Druid") runs on 4.2 BSD. If you are interested in testing this system,
please contact me at:
			KARP @ SUMEX-AIM.ARPA

I ask that only sites with Arpanet FTP access apply since I cannot afford
the overhead of writing tapes.

In your message please describe the network and computing environment you
would like to test Druid in.

Also, I will not be able to respond to your message till early January
because of the holidays.
