This means no backups, so be careful when deleting files that you've just worked on. It means nobody will be answering 5303 or 6060, so you're pretty much on your own. And it means that a hardware malfunction may take Unix out of service for quite a while before it comes to the attention of anyone who can do something about it. Especially with the notable number of crashes we've had of late, we cannot promise uninterrupted service over the holidays.
