I have not had much experience with it, but I was disappointed to discover that unlike full PL/I, arrays must be dimensioned by constant expressions. This makes it weaker than most microcomputer versions of Pascal for matrix math. I'd strongly recommend looking over the manual before buying it -- there are other differences that may make it very disappointing for serious PL/I fans. -- D Gary Grady Duke University Computation Center, Durham, NC 27706 (919) 684-4146 USENET: {decvax,ihnp4,akgua,etc.}!mcnc!ecsvax!dgary
