Lines: 18 Hi. I would be interested in knowing what problems (or if you have had no problems) with the new contraceptive sponges that are on the market. For the last 3 years I have used a cervical cap (in my opinion one of god's gifts) with almost no problems. Well last week I lost it (please do not ask how and where. It is far too embarrassing to talk about). So I decided to try the sponges. Well less than pleased is a good word for my experience (I believe I had an allegeric reactions. I am hoping to get a doctors appointment tomorrow to find out what exactly happened). I am wondering if it was just a fluke (I have used spermicides with the cap before so it had to be the sponge material) or if lots of others have had the same problem. I had heard such wonderful things about it (but after all it was all advertising). I am going to probably go back to the cap but would still like to know what others think. ---georgia A good friend is a truly enjoyable thing
