[No, not THAT pro wrestling!]

Last summer I had heard some talk about an amateur professional
wrestling circuit starting up. What this was intended to be
was a place for amateur Olympic-style wrestlers to become
professionals, without having to go into the staged pro
wrestling. From the press release I had read (if I remember
correctly) this was to take place from September to December,
ending with a big championship in December, I think in
Las Vegas.

Anyways, what I want to know is, did this ever get off the
ground? Did anyone on the net hear anything about this?
And, how'd it go over?
