I have gotten a very nice reponse to my post about C compilers.
The overwelming majority liked Computer Innovation C86 compiler,
which meets all of the above and is available for ~$300.  A close
second was Lattice C, which was also well liked and cosidered very
fast.  We are purchasing the C86 compiler, and I will let you know
how I make out.
