I did not write the article in question. I came in one morning with many people grinning at me stupidly. "Read net.flame," they said. Nothing more. So I looked. And there I was, telling everyone about my "I brake for fuzzy-headed liberals" bumper sticker, how Union Carbide is getting a lot of undeserved bad press, and Massachusetts is unreasonable in requiring a frog-hunting license. I don't have a bumper sticker. I fast-forward through Union Carbide news stories on network news. I don't CARE about frog hunting. Am I getting through here? And here it comes, the deluge of flaming replies (justified). I'm just going to let them wash over me. Or perhaps I'll unsubscribe to net.flame for a while. The bottom line: The Union Carbide posting is going to generate a lot of activity on the net. I'm sure its writer was looking for that. Eventually he'll probably confess to his crimes here and some of you will believe me. In the mean time, I'm logging out.
