I have seen some articles to net.games.rogue recently about the
vorpalize weapon scroll. My question concerns zapping a vorpalized
weapon. If you do zap such a weapon, have you lost the +1,+1 you
received from reading the scroll? Or have you just lost the one
zap you get? If you do zap your weapon, can you then read another
vorpalize weapon scroll on it and not have the weapon vanish in
a cloud of black smoke? If it zaps by itself while fighting a monster
(presumably the monster to which it is attuned), does this have
exactly the same effects (in terms of ability losses) as zapping it
yourself? Thanks in advance for any helpful responses.
