There was some problem with doing this, but I can't remember what. I am planning to rewrite Sleep in 68000 assembler sometime soon to get around the problems, but I can't guarantee a date -- it's Christmas vacation (yay!). The reason that space is taken up after Sleep wakes up is probably the lack of a CloseDeskAcc. Sleep "closes" itself, of course, and I wasn't sure whether it was safe for a desk accessory to dispose of itself. All sorts of horrible possibilities come to mind. I'll experiment a bit with the new version and try to find a solution.
