You weren't supposed to notice these things! Yes, it was an Enterprise shuttle. Why? Because it's cheaper to use stock footage of the shuttlecraft than it is to do new filming. My other favourite was in one of the episodes with another ship (I Think the episode might have been "The Doomsday Machine") where the ship's number was NCC-1071.
