I would like to purchase an answering machine that
records the time that each message is recorded.
I don't care about any other fancy features (such as remote, etc.).
One example of such an answering machine is the Toshiba TCD-50.
One mail-order catalog lists the TCD-50 for $229.
I would appreciate getting comments on the TCD-50 or any
other answering machine that records the time of each message.

The prices in the catalog where I saw the TCD-50 are rather high
so I expect that this and similar machines can be bought at a lower
price elsewhere.
Therefore, I am also looking for suggestions for
cheaper mail-order sources as well as for discount stores
in the SF Bay Area that may carry such answering machines.
