Is there anybody else out there who would like to learn Esperanto?
I know I would. One thing that would help a lot is to have a place
to USE esperanto. One could subscribe to newspaper's, etc that are
written in it, but it would also be useful to have some more immediate
means of practicing.

There is also a tie-in here to the recent "furor" over a danish joke
being submitted. Since there are many people on the net speaking
many languages, esperanto could be used instead?

Somebody looking over my shoulder just now pointed out that esperanto
was dying. (?) I don't know about that. But the suggestion is still
valid. Any takers?
