Zinter And those who can't read English are really idiots. I said nothing about "barriers in my relationships". Obviously, if a friend or acquaintance is unaware of the fact that I am Jewish, then a christmas card is something I welcome. But let's face it, if you take "the time and care" to send a Jewish friend a card at Christmas, what is the problem with taking the time and care to send them a Channukah card? The problem with Christmas cards is 1) They're always late for the holiday that I celebrate (How would you like a card that's two weeks late for your birthday?) and 2) They are often religious in sentiment. Getting a card with a Santa on it is cute, but I am turned off by the folks who send me cards with entire nativity scenes and biblical messages. Don't make idiotic statements about "unintentional errors". Instead of reading between my lines, read what I write..... Dave Bloom Bell Labs, Holmdel "Your card's in the mail...."
