Has anyone tried to adapt the system used in Xanth to D&D?

For those that don't know, in Xanth, every human (or creature with
a soul, I believe is the corectest) has a Talent. A talent is a
magical ability or spell that that person can do just by thinking
of doing it. Some of the Talents are small ones, such as being able
to create an invisible wall, or creating an explosion. Other Talents
are really great, called Magician calibre Talents, such as one per-
son whose Talent was to do what was best for him (not get him killed,
etc.), and another whose talent was healing himself, and one other
whose Talent was to enhance whatever she thought should be enhanced.s

What I'm wondering is if anyone has ever tried to fit this to D&D?
If so, please send me details. Thanx in advance.
