Recent messages have indicated that double sided disk external disk
drives will become available for the Macintosh soon. As a relative
novice to this personal computer stuff, I wonder if someone could
answer a couple of probably basic questions. Answers specifically for
this product, which I assume is the Haba HabaDisk, would also be
useful.

What compatibility exists between single sided and double sided drives
and media? I assume you can use new double sided media in a single
sided drive and it gets treated the same as single sided media and
written in a single sided fashion. However, what happens if you use
single sided media in a double sided drive? Is it possible to write a
disk compatible with the single sided drive using the double sided
drive? Is it possible to read a disk written with a single sided
drive using the double sided drive?

Thanks.
