Milne. According to Henry M. Morris, extrapolation of the population of the world in 1800 A.D. backwards by the rate of population growth of the world between 1650 A.D. and 1800 A.D. shows that there were just two people (guess who?) in the year 4500 B.C. This article shows how the same assumptions used by Morris lead to other conclusions, such as that in 2500 B.C., when the Pyramids were built, the world population was 750 individuals. Since half of these were women and half of the remaining males were children, we must assume that the Great Pyramid was constructed by under 200 individuals. "But Some of Them *Are* Scientists, Aren't They?", by Ronald H. Pine. An examination of the difference between science and other human activities, and a discussion of why, in nearly every case, even those Creationists with scientific training are not engaged in the pursuit of science. "Creationist and Fundamentalist Apologetics: Two Branches of the Same Tree" by Robert M. Price. The role of Christian Apologetics in Creationism. Relevant to the recent discussion in this newsgroup "Creationists are not Stupid". "Footprints in the Dust: The Lunar Surface and Creationism" by Steven N. Shore. Creationists claim that the amount of dust on the Moon is much too small to have been deposited there over 5 billion years time. Points out the evidence that creationists ignore in this claim and shows what conclusion is inevitable based on the best available evidence. "Uniformity and Creation: A Response to Edwords and Thwaites" by Norman L. Geisler. Geisler is a Creationist. In this article he explains that since it is evident that Mount Rushmore was built by intelligent hands, it is obvious that DNA was similarly the product of an intelligent Creator. "Apples and Oranges: A Response to Geisler" by Fredrick Edwords. Edwords' response to the previous article. Among other things he shows that Geisler's logic can be used to show that the naturalistic origin of life *has already been demonstrated* in the laboratory. Letters to the Editor. A response to a previous article by Norman Geisler. Letter from a former Creationist. Letter from a Christian who is deeply worried about the bad name being brought upon Jesus and his message by Creationists. And more... News Briefs. Recent defeats of Creationism in California, Iowa, Texas. Progress of the Louisiana case. Responses of Creationists to defeats in the Legislatures and Courts. Surprise! Having been unsuccessful in getting Creationism into the classroom legally, they are now trying to do it through the back door. The next issue will be devoted to the Paluxy tracks. A team of four scientists visited the site in 1982-83, and even observed the creationists at work uncovering the prints. You won't want to miss this!
