Last winter, I saw the snowboard for the first time on a small ski lift
in Oregon called 'Willamette Pass.' I therefore assume that the local
federal dept. which runs the place says it's O.K. I can then assume that
it would be O.K. in most places, since most of the ski places are on
federal land.

Another thing-- these babies MOVE!! I was almost run over by one of
these hot-shots roaring down the slopes. It looked as though he hadn't
quite gotten the hang of it; but was moving along anyway.
