Message-ID: <271@ho95b.UUCP> Date: Mon, 3-Dec-84 18:04:46 EST Article-I.D.: ho95b.271 Posted: Mon Dec 3 18:04:46 1984 Date-Received: Tue, 4-Dec-84 19:21:01 EST Organization: AT&T Bell Labs, Holmdel NJ Lines: 22 Xref: watmath net.graphics:569 net.wanted:5256 -------- I have two separate requests for filters for the UNIX plot package. On Berkeley systems, these are for plot(1); on System V for tplot(1), which is the same thing. 1) Does anyone have a plot filter for generic dumb printers, i.e. line printers or non-graphics CRTs? This would allow simple plots to be patched into memos done on nroff, and would give a (minimal) plotting capacity for general work. 2) Does anyone have a plot filter to generate Impress output for the Imagen laser printers? We are currently piping the output through a tektronix filter, and using tektronix language on the Imagens, but I would expect Impress to be more efficient and produce cleaner output.
