Lines: 23 Xref: genrad net.micro:9357 net.micro.cpm:3379 In the latest copy of Dr. Dobbs Journal there is a letter from an irate person who claims to have ordered Modula-2 from JRT (for 102.95) and was assurred it would be shipped "the next day". Well we know what happened right? Its been 3 months, no one answers the phone at JRT and when he sent them a letter reiceipt requested, Good ol' Mr. Tyson signed for it. Draw your own conclusions, I personally don't wish to invest in that company. It does raise two questions though. 1.) Has anyone heard of a Full Modula-2 for Z80 based systems ? Borland is working on one but it seems there is practically no support for the 8 Bit people out there. They expect theirs "sometime" after the MS-DOS one comes out (currently Q1 85) 2.) If not Modula, how about a good concurrent PASCAL? --Chuck -- - - - D I S C L A I M E R - - - {ihnp4,fortune}!dual\ All opinions expressed herein are my {qantel,idi}-> !intelca!cem own and not those of my employer, my {ucbvax,hao}!hplabs/ friends, or my avocado plant. :-}
