[ They say ...]
New to the PC (and Unix) I make the usual disclaimers about being naive.
Humour me please.

I have on order an IBM AT. I have not ordered a monitor or monitor card yet,
being unsure about the options. Can anybody advise me on a card/monitor
combo, gray-toned monochrome very acceptable, with terminal software
interface that would have the following trivial features:

o Very High resolution graphics (I don't know what this means these days)
 o Tektronics 1040 emulation capability
 o Clean, crisp alphanumerics
 o Switchable 80/132 column capacity
 o DEC VT-100 emulation capability
o Compatable with whatever is emerging as the standard PC graphics mode
(I assume Lotus-123 et al. define a defacto IBM standard)

I plan to use the AT for statistical analysis and to interface SAS/GRAPH on
the VAX from time to time. Of course I will post a summary of responses,
probably in tabular from (long live tbl). Thanks.
