Garret,

     We have a dozen or so Lexitrons at our activity which use the 
"Async Ascii" program.  As far as I can tell, the package emulates a generic
dumb terminal.  There are some significant problems with coming up with a
termcap that works properly.  From my exposure to it, the problem is basically
that the codes that the word processing software uses for its functions are
not implemented at all in the "Async Ascii" program.  The best way to get it
to act like a real crt terminal is to get a newer terminal package which 
is available as a VT100 emulator.  I'm not sure what the price is, but I'm
positive your sales rep would just love to sell it to you.
