Agreed. Marino is clearly having the season of his career (or anyone else's for that matter), and would be anyone's pick for the top QB in the league. > And of course the Super Bowl will be won by the best team: Miami Dolphins. I beg to differ here. The best three teams in the AFC are all in the same division--the AFC west. Grant it, the Dolphins are undefeated against the likes of Buffalo, Houston and Indy, but (after yesterday's games) are 0-2 against AFC-west opponents; in all likelihood, the 'fins will play only AFC-west teams in the playoffs. (When's the last time Miami beat the Raiders? Shula is 0-5 against Flores.) Fouts and Wilson have shown that the Miami's defense (particularly its pass rush) is suspect. Odds are that the Dolphins will last only one round in the playoffs in spite of their spectacular offense and home-field advantage. ******************************** Steve Vegdahl NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR Computer Research Lab. typos Tektronix, Inc. logical errors Beaverton, Oregon actions of my pet alligator ******************************** Wasn't it Mike Haynes who caught Marino's record-setting 37th TD pass? :-)
