The article is titled "The Digital Reproduction of Sound" and is authored by one John Monforte (Univ of Miami). I am not writing this entry in order to review the article, you must do that for yourself. It is clearly written, concise, and covers all of the aspects of digital recording since its inception. There is even some discussion of the behaviors of analog systems for comparative purposes. All in all, it is worth your time and money to read the article if you plan to have anything to do with CD now or in the future.
