Actually, VNX designates a certain set of UNIX-like products
for VMS.  At this time, those products include the DEC/Shell,
the C compiler, and MMS.   I am not sure whether CMS is technically
listed under the VNX group of products or not.  In any case, VNX
has nothing to do with Ultrix beyond the fact that they are both
product strategies aimed at selling UNIX tools.
