[bug eater]

A project in which I'm involved requires that a survey be made of
existing program development/maintenance support tools from an
    "automated software quality measurement" perspective.

The types of tools we are most interested in include:

           - requirements analysis tools
           - design tools
           - version control / configuration management tools
           - syntax analyzers, compiler front-ends, etc.
           - flow analyzers
           - intelligent flowcharters
           - forms / menu managers
           - graphics / statistical analysis packages

We are especially (but not solely) interested in any locally developed
or less-than-well-know tools that will run on a VAX 11/780 under VMS,
that are easily transportable, and that are in the public domain. Any
information you can provide with respect to the availability of, or
your experience with, such tools will be greatly appreciated.
