My roommate is looking for a HI-FI VCR. He has a Sony Beta HI-FI in mind. I
don't know which model. Anyway, I asked him why he chose to buy a Beta HI-FI
instead of a VHS HI-FI. He stated a few reasons but one in particular I have
to question. He desires to use the VCR to record albums which he insists can
not be done with a VHS HI-FI. Can a VHS HI-FI be used to record just audio
without a video signal present? If not, why not? This article is not intended
to discuss which VCR format is better because no matter which type he buys I
GET TO USE IT! Please mail responses to me.
