The Ramones have a new album, Too Tough To Die, with some good stuff on it. They're even safe for most of you preppie types out there, you can everybody at the next wine-and-cheese party with how worldly you are for having gone to a PUNK concert (snore) without having to listen to anything that might disrupt the safe little mental castle you live in. I've never seen ANYBODY else put an itinerary on the net. WHY NOT??? I'll bet you're all too sudded out in front of your stereos to even go LISTEN to any live music - deadheads excepted, of course, but, even the deadheads just go to collect tapes anyway... I've pretty well given up reading net.music; but I keep hoping to do the bands a favor with these itineraries; maybe there's one or two PEOPLE left out there among the yuppies and compunerds... in any case, it gives me a chance to hurl all kinds of abuse. OH... by the WAY... I can't BELIEVE the Offensive Lyric submissions out there. If any of you had ever heard Tesco Vee, or Fang, or the Feeders, you'd change your silly little Barbie-and-Ken minds about what OFFENSIVE is. (I haven't finished grading your last lesson, RLR. I'm flakey.)
