I must squelch the rumour that recently appeared on Laser-Lovers saying
that IMAGEN has, or is about to announce, a printing system with a 40
ppm engine; this is not true.

We DID just announce a new 12 ppm printing system (12/300) based on the
Ricoh 4120 engine, and we are looking at various higher-speed engines,
but, unfortunately, there is no "real" 40 ppm engine available now.

Be assured that as soon as a high-quality, cost-effective, reliable
engine appears in that speed range, that we will be VERY interested in
building a product around it (as will most other printing system
manufacturers!).
