I thought the whole point of mensa was so that these people could get
together and discuss highbrow sorts of things without being bothered
by the illiterate masses.  It's a group of similar people who like to
be around their own kind.  As such, it seems to me that if a net.mensa
were created, it would be subject to the same kinds of heckling that
have been occurring in net.motss, net.religion, net.women, and so on.
(Mensa isn't real popular with the vocal people on the net, it would
seem.)  Do the mensa members really want to discuss things in public
while being heckled?  I would guess not.

No, I do not belong to mensa.  I've been invited but wasn't even
interested enough to take the test.  Yes, I'm sure I'd pass.
