This is a fabulous place for a vacation if you are interested
in birds. My husband and I vacationed there last year and
saw among other species Everglades kite, solitary vireo, anhinga,
scarlet ibis, green heron, common gallinule, purple gallinule,
roseate spoonbill, great blue heron, great white heron (in the
Florida Keys), white-crowned pigeon (in the Keys), barred owl,
	and wood stork.
