Does anyone have information on the surgerical procedure Radical Keratotomy
which is used to correct nearsightedness? It is a new and still investi-
gational operation which consists of making series of from six to sixteen
non-perforating micro-incisions into the cornea. The patient is under
a local anestesia when done and is treated on an outpatient basis.

It would be greatly appreciated if anyone on the NET has had it done or
knows of someone who, if they would post what their experience has been
and if it they consider the procedure safe and successful. Thanks in
advance for any comments.
