If such a place did exist, tons >of people would go there... It does exist sir and its called Solitude and Brighton ski resort in Big Cottonwood canyon 20 minutes out of Salt Lake City, Utah. These resorts are low key, usually locals only, relatively low price, ($14 -$16) and short lines.(3-8 minutes) Unfortunately its a long ways away from both of us.
