Cray Research, Wisconsin, has an immediate opening for  a  Senior
Research  Scientist  in  the  Software  Research  Group,  Product
Development.  Candidates with experience in compiler  design  and
optimizations  for  scientific  and engineering Fortran codes are
desired.  The position involves the recruiting  and  guidance  of
support  staff,  experiments in automatic vectorization, dataflow
analysis, multitasking, parallel processing and, more  generally,
the production of near optimal codes for supercomputing architec-
tures.  If you would like to join a small research group pursuing
the  development of a new generation of supercomputers (and would
