No, that wouldn't help-- I would have to get my news feeds to restrict net.women.only in their respective sys files. Admittedly this is not much different, although it could be a problem for some sites. I am more concerned about a sort of Gresham's law of newsgroups; if "if the mailing list exist please put me on it" messages are being sent to Korea, more interesting messages will be crowded out. When I raised the issue (and I am sincerely sorry!), net.women.only had degenerated into net.women.only-request.
