When you use the `ms' or `format' program with a printer specified
(spr, lpr or hpr), you will now receive mail when the printing has
finished. The mail will include an estimate of the number of pages
printed. This change will mean that you no longer have to check to
see if your printout is ready--just wait to get the mail.

Printer jobs submitted using `ms' or `format' are now "batched".
This means that you will get your prompt back after the time it
takes to copy your files (a much shorter time than it takes to process
the files). This effectively eliminates the need to use `nohup' and
the ampersand (`&'). Note that this requires no action on your part.
Should there be an error in processing your files, any error messages
will be mailed to you.
