We are all sinners, | and thus if we are poisoned it is a clear indication that God is | unhappy with our sins. Because of this, also, it is perfectly alright | to kill people, because they deserve it anyway. (Especially if they are | particularly sinful people, i.e, people of other religons.) Animals, | however, cannot sin, because it was only Man who tasted the forbidden | apple of Knowledge, and thus we cannot kill them with a clear | conscience as we can do with men. I hope this makes the issue clearer. | | Wayne "Burn In Hell, Scum" Christopher Ignore that man, as is clear from his login (faustus), he is speaking with a perspective which prevents him from understanding anything the Bible might have to say. According to the traditional teaching, we (the sons and daughters of Adam) are responsible for the earth, and have been given permission to use some of the plants and animals for food (and by extension, clothing). Part of our responsibility is that we don't torture them and we don't kill them unnecessarily. It is obvious that this is widely ignored, and THAT is where any claims of sin can be made. What's that? This isn't flaming enough? But, poor faustus has been burning in hell for so long, why should I add any fuel to his fire? Hutch
