I'm looking for something on the basics of stage presence (bowing, when to acknowledge accompanists, when to accept first bows, etc.), etiquette in the general area of performance (never practice someone else's solo, etc.), and the like. As far as I've been able to find, no such volume exists. Journal articles and such would also be appreciated. Also, I would be interested in any comments anyone might have in this area, including contributions anyone could make to my collection of "behavior codes." I could post my compilation to the net at a later date if anyone is interested. -- Erin Vang @ St. Olaf College ...ihnp4!stolaf!vange Flame if you must, but I don't promise to be polite to you.
