I am considering buying a portable VCR (VHS Hi Fi). I've narrowed
my choices to either a Canon or Olympus. However, most of the
prerecorded VHS tapes are Dolby stereo. Does anyone out there have
any experiences (good or bad) with the above brands? Are they
compatible with stereo tapes, i.e. will I still get stereo sound
out of the Hi Fi models? Will I be able to feed the audio outputs
of the VCR to my receiver? Please reply by mail. Thank you.
