I'm sure that most of you have heard of Dan Jenkins, a writer of "comedy"
novels about sports and life. He is the author of "Semi Tough" (pronounced
sem'-eye, about pro football players)", "Dead Solid Perfect (golfers and
golf tour)", "Limo" (Madison Avenue advertising executives), and "Baja
Oklahoma" (Reflections on growing up in Texas).

Generally, the "10" scale for rating the sexual desirability of various
members of the opposite sex was first written and cataloged in "Semi Tough".
The memorable first line of "Limo" was, "It was a rainy night in Barcelona
and all of the good whores had the summer flu."

Most recently (A newer book will be released within 1984), in the book
"Baja Oklahoma", Jenkins has given us a new scale relating to the levels of
drunkenness as they occur in mankind (and womankind).

			And I quote:

	  "Mankind's Ten Stages of Drunkenness"

	0). A Zero is sober
	1). Witty and Charming
	2). Rich and Powerful
	3). Benevolent
	4). Clairvoyant
	5). Fuck Dinner
	6). Patriotic
*7). Crank Up the Enola Gay
8). Witty and Charming, Part II
	9). Invisible
	10). Bulletproof

* For the non-trivia buffs, the Enola Gay was the name of the B-25 plane
used to drop the "A-bombs" on the Japanese at the end of World War II.
