The way this works out is that if
         LA Rams lose to SF    
         NY Giants beat New Orleans
         Washington beats St. Louis
         Dallas beats Miami
then the wild card teams are LA and Dallas even though the order of finish
in the NFC East will be

             Washington   11  5
	     New York     10  6    (2-0 vs. Dallas)
             Dallas       10  6
             St. Louis     9  7

Seems pretty ridiculous.
