Anybody know the difference between /bin/ed and /bin/e in SysVr2.0.
As I recall, they were linked (the same program) in previous releases,
but now they are different. Ed is about 3K larger.
I can't find e(1) in the manual, and ed(1) doesn't reference it.
Just curious.
What historical events lead to ed/e differentiation?
