The entire question of the "prime cause" argument of the existence of God is
discussed by Lord Bertrand Russell.  He takes it a step farther from this
discussion -- if you assume that God is not created (as several have
advocated here), then it becomes equally reasonable to think of the Universe
as not having been created.
