Message-ID: <487@ncoast.UUCP> Date: Sat, 8-Dec-84 23:02:16 EST Article-I.D.: ncoast.487 Posted: Sat Dec 8 23:02:16 1984 Date-Received: Thu, 13-Dec-84 02:04:26 EST Reply-To: bsa@ncoast.UUCP (Brandon Allbery) Organization: North Coast XENIX, Cleveland Lines: 23 I'm looking for either (1) a public-domain EMACS, or (2) info on availability and price of an EMACS that will run under Xenix-68000 and can be modified to run with V7 or System III lookalikes (Xenix for our system will be going System III in January, but the latest releases have been fairly buggy, so I'd like to keep our options open until we have a stable Xenix 3.00.xx (!) available). I'm aware that there was an EMACS emulator for TECO posted to net.sources recently... but we don't have TECO, either, and I'd prefer a full implementation of Emacs, thank you. (Although it might be interesting to try those macros on an OSI C1P with HEXDOS and its implementation of TECO... :-) Can anyone send me pointers to one or the other? As they say (or seem to say), advTHANKSance... --bsa -- Brandon Allbery @ North Coast Xenix | the.world!ucbvax!decvax!cwruecmp! 6504 Chestnut Road, Independence, Ohio | {atvax!}ncoast!{tdi1!}bsa (216) 524-1416 \ 44131 | E1439@CSUOHIO.BITNET (friend's acct.) | BALLBERY (161-7070) on MCI Mail ---------------------------------------+--------------------------------------- Keeping the Galaxies safe for Civilization... :-)
