I think ColoRight is absolutely Wrong, at least in an engineering
environment. I am a 3 point, 43-year-old man, so my opinions are probably
both out-of-date and quite common.
The basic thrust of the 14 point system is sensible. I suggest aiming
at 4-5 points for women, with a 7 point maximum.
Lisa herself falls well within this range. I would count any number of
colors on a blouse as one point, unless it has a bold pattern. The badge
doesn't count at all.
Those of you who are interested in men's preferences should note that
men usually find women most attractive when the women are in their natural
state, which scores about 3 points (or 4 for long hair).
How many points should men aim for?
This is a fascinating topic. I hope Lisa's letter generates a lot of
responses. Does anyone agree with me that a 14-point woman suggests adjec-
tives like "bubble-headed", "garish", and "insecure"?
