All right gang, everybody keeps asking about development packages for the
Mac. Now I want to ask too. This time, please respond to the net, it seems
like a lot of people want to know what's available and how good it is.

My own personal interests are for the following:

1) What comes in Apple's development kit. How useful is it?

2) Who supplies assemblers that run on and for the Mac. Which are the
    good ones?

3) Who supplies C compilers? How good are they? How much room do they
require on disk(s)? How long does it take to compile a moderately sized
file (say, 1000 lines)? How complete a C do they support?

Please give specifics! If you have lots of specifics, and
feel that they are too long to post, at least send them to me.

Thanks very much,
