I'm looking for references to a good scanner presently
on the market.  If you reply, please let me know WHERE
you found the best prices.

Preferred features:
1) 12vdc/110ac operation
2) covers most widely used freqs
   (that 30MHZ-2.N GHZ looks nice, but too expensive!)
3) Can be altered to take external digital input.
4) Will do "sweeps" from one freq to another.

All of the above are preferences.  I still want to hear
both good and bad reports on all scanners that people have
used out there.
