There is an amusing dialogue on a Weavers record (the weavers
at Carnagy Hall) where Lee asks Pete Seger, "what are the lyrics
to that song, anyway?"

	Pete repiles:

I looked it up once in Francis James Child's collection of
English Ballads. It has dozens of verses each one dumber that
the last: "I gave her this I gave her that but still she wouldst
not love me ... Greensleeves ..." (here he takes off into some
	hot banjo picking).
