Thanks. Attend a UniForum (or, less usefully, Usenix) conference. /usr/group has adopted a "UNIX system interface" (minimal C library) standard. There is an ANSI C standardization committee. Of course AT&T has its own standardization efforts but they seem harder to contribute to or find out about.
