Quite often I have dd to cause a segmentation violation and
core dump. Has anyone else had this problem? The command
is simple (dd if=/dev/rmt8 of=junk)... the tape is a copy
of 4.2BSD tape #1, file #2. The actual blocksize is 10240.

Please reply by mail, and I'll post results to the net.
Thanks!
