Ashley > AT&T-BL > ihuxm!marno There are two versions of "Porgy and Bess" that you may be referring to. One is a Verve album from the '50s with Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong. The other is a Pablo recording from the late '70s with Ray Charles and Cleo Laine. The Charles-Laine record is easily the better of the two. Marvin P. Vernon
