I am having trouble compiling a relatively large f77 source file with the
f77 compiler which came with the BSD 4.2 release. Even after I unlimited
filesize and increased all the compiler size (-N) options to double the
standard sizes, the compile terminates with the following error message:
      Termination code 139
      *** Error code 3

The file used to compile under 4.1. I am aware of the existence of problems,
but up to now I have carefully avoided to follow any of the bulletin boards
related to this. So now I need help finding out what is going on!

Any help is appreciated. Since I am not typically reading the above newsgroups
please reply by mail. Thanks for your help. A. Ganz
