		   Form 945

There may be some confusion due to a reference on
the new Form 8109, Federal Tax Deposit Coupon
Book, to Form 945. Instructions for backup
withholding direct taxpayers who treat backup
withholding as a separate tax to mark the "Form
945" box on their deposit coupon. These
instructions are correct. However, Form 945 does
not exist and no such form is needed to deposit or
report backup withholding.
