Greetings - the other day I received in the mail an invitation from Dr.
Robert Aiken regarding a Citizen Ambassador, People to People delegation
specializing in computer uses in education that will be going to Europe for
three weeks this May. Before I discuss this with my Headmaster, I thought
I would query the net to see if any of you know anything about this sort of
junket.

In particular, have any of you ever participated in the Citizen Ambassador
Program? I must confess that I never heard of it before and I am frankly
curious as to whether it is a serious professional activity or just a scam
to part me from the roughly $4k that they say it will cost to participate.

If you have any info I would appreciate hearing about it - please mail to
me and I will summarize to the net if there is sufficient interest. Thanks
in advance...
