Thus, I've gotten so I can read an analog clock face showing GMT for most US time zones. It's more difficult in Europe with only a 1 or 2 hour difference (and I don't get much practice thereabouts), and impossible (for me) with digital displays. I had the revelation to adopt this bizarre affectation when I was hitching a ride with a real old geezer about this time 18 years ago.
