Was that a laser used in (TC)? It looked like a phaser to me, but I
suppose I should check on my books a little closer. Anyway, It seems that the
laser was used as SF's standard weapon along with the partical beam cannon as
SF's standard heavy weapon. It was suggested that the phaser, through intense
experimentation, became a culmination of both weapons. Having the Penetration
of the laser and the impact of the partical beam cannon. That's why I wonder
about the cannon in (TC) being a laser or phaser?
