I heard a track off the new Deep Purple album (I can't recall the title) last
night on WMMR (Philadelphia). I'm not much of a Deep Purple fan but, I do
enjoy listening to some of the work Blackmore and Glover did with Rainbow and
what Gillian did both solo and with the Sabs. So I sort of had an idea what to
expect from the new album and that's what I got (at least on the one track I
heard). It sounded like a heavier version of Rainbow (the way Rainbow should
have sounded to begin with). I'll have to hear a few more tracks before I add
the album to my collection but, if they're anything like the one I heard I'll
definitely buy it.
