I'm about to invest some of my hard earned cash in a used Digital
Keyboards Synergy. I thought that before I did, I would check if
any of you net.folk can offer any encouragements or warnings.

How do these things hold up? This one has seen moderately heavy use
in a nearby recording studio for the last few years. All seems fine
and dandy right now.

Also, I understand that there is an RS-232 add-on that can be had
for ~$150. Anybody developed any software to interface a micro?
I'll be developing some nifty composition programs, and would like
to trade ideas...

I just love the sound of this keyboard!
