Just when I think I might graduate from being a MacNovice, I run into
a dead end again...So again I ask for help from the MacHackers on the net.

I am trying to use the 4 tone sound generator, using the routine
StartSound(&soundtable);
This is starting the sound correctly, but the routine does not return
until the duration has run down. What I want to do is start the sound,
then return and modify the waveforms/rates and keep updating the duration
to produce continuous sound...
Am I using the wrong routine? or am I using the right routine incorrectly?
or is it possible to do this?
