Speaking of learning electronics, do not ever recommend the military
for this task.  Recent graduates have what is known as the ability
to change cards.  Back in the sixty's when I went through there was
substance but now only attempts to save money.  That is, let the
gomer pull the card and throw it in the trash or send it back to the
manufacturer.  I point this out as it used to be a desireable path.
