Yes, it is possible to mix systems. A highly proven lowcost rcvr, two
channel expandable to 4 channel is available from Tech RC (formerly
Royal Electronics) in Denver 303-757-4082. You can get it in kit form
and it is available in the various channels. They also have good buys
on servos and servo kits.

Yes I am a ham (W9LXP) and an R/C nut also. In trying to find a notes
net to discuss this sort of thing, it has been pointed out that net.rec
