I have written a vt100 emulator for the IBM PC which I package with
xmodem and kermit file transfer capabilities. Most of the program
is written in C and I am selling it at the nominal cost of $35 which
includes almost 50 pages of documentation.

Recently, a local software "promoter" approached me with the idea of
porting my program to the Commodore 64. He assures me that we'd sell
millions of them.

I am very naive about the Commodore line in general, not even knowing
what their favorite processor is. I'm interested to know if
	o there's a demand for a good vt100 emulator, and what
people would be willing to pay for it.
o there are any good C compilers for the 64, and if there
exist cross compilers from something like an IBM PC.
o Commodore publishes enough information to write, for example,
asynchronous port drivers and interrupt handlers
(Can the 64 even be interrupt driven?)
o Any other information that might be of interest to me.

Thanks in advance for your responses.
