Those writers must be really trying to pull a fast one on the viewing audience!
I mean, who ever heard of a helicopter with "turbo-boost" to push its speed
beyond Mach 1 ? The rotors would tear off long before the thing got anywhere
near that speed! The propmen are really pushing their luck, too; the AIRWOLF
is nothing more than a VERY thinly-disguised large Bell exec 'copter. I really
like their special effects, especially the way they speed up the footage of
the 'copter at purportedly-transsonic speeds! :-)

I saw the first 8 minutes of the pilot, got disgusted and changed the channel.
I'd rather watch the public-information channel on cable :-) !!
