For whoever cares, the vocal artists on the recent Giulini recording of "Das Lied" are Brigitte Fassbaender and Francisco Araiza. To whoever was looking for a Mahler biography: "Mahler: The Man and His Music" by Egon Gartenberg is an enjoyable account of Mahler's life and includes a 200 page overview of his major works (e.g. brief illustrations, history, etc). About $7 in softcover, seems to be readily available. Bill Palmer arpa: whp4@sierra
