I am surprised by the lack of articles on "Razor's Edge".
This is a very worthwhile movie. The tone reminds me of
Warren Beatty's "REDS"; tracing the development of the
central hero over a number of years. Since the characters
all have their childhood and high school years in common,
it also could be compared to "Diner".
One could make a case against Bill Murray's lack of passion
in his role. He may place to tight riegn on his character.
However, I found his debut in a major, serious role to be
a success.
OK, so the last quarter of the movie falls into some
stereotypical Hollywood scriptwriting. I still highly
recommend this movie.
