My approx. 80 yr old mom in Belleair Beach Florida is a ham. I am not,
but I have always done her technical work for her. We have a problem:
She has a multi-band trap vertical working against a fine ground plane.
However, because this is lightning country with a vengeance, I have
the vertical grounded with a battery cable clamp biting the vertical.
Mom can't open the clamp anymore (weak hands). Does anyone know of a
good antenna grounding relay suitable for such an application.
Antenna is about 4 ft from salt water bay. Has to withstand salt water
corrosion, fungus, etc. - all the tropical stuff. Prefer 110 vac coil.
THanks in advance.
