I recently purchased a Novation 212 upgrade board for my Apple IIe,
so that I can transfer files at 1200 baud instead of the 300 baud rate on
the standard Novation AppleCat modem. After using the Com-Ware software
to set up the 1200 baud rate, it works just fine. However, when trying to
use my P-Term software, it will only work at 300 baud. I have changed the
CONFIG.TEXT for baud rate from "6" to "8" and used MAKEPTDATA to create a
new PTERM.DATA file. Using the "B" selection on the secondary menu, I
reset the baud rate to 1200--but when I dial up and connect is does an
immediate disconnect.
Changing the baud rate back to 300 with the "B" selection solves
the disconnect problem, but the transmission rate is reduced to 300.
Any ideas?
