The action was brought about because it was found that one serving of Campbell's Soup may contain up to 1500 mg. of sodium. In contrast, current recommendations suggest a limit of 1100-1300 mg. per day as the upper limit of sodium intake for an adult. I found a certain perverse sort of amusement in the fact that they chose to change the advertising instead of the product.
