In fact, even though I have heard two songs now by Julian and KNOW they are his songs, I still keep thinking that it is John singing. I don't know if it's a conscious effort to sound like John or not, but he definitely does (phrasing, vocal quality--please, no flames about John Lennon having had no vocal quality!!--,mood,etc.). So far I have liked both songs and will probably buy his album to explore Julian's music even further. The writing style reminds me of John's earlier work. NOTE: I do not mean to imply that Julian is copying or riding the coattails of his father. Give a listen, you might even like it! -- -------------------------------------------------------- Mike Eastman ihnp4!ihuxu!mfe (312) 979-2847 AT&T Bell Laboratories Rm. 2C-319 Naperville, IL 60566
