Summary:

I just got back on the net for the first time since last spring, so I'm
afraid I haven't been following whatever discussion lead to the mention
of the new book about computers and the disabled. My girlfriend is
blind, and she would very much like to use a computer for word
processing (she's a student at Stanford Law School). Has anyone heard
anything about speech synthesizers for use with the Mac?

Please reply to me; if I get a number of replies I'll post a summary.
