I want to see an index of subjects/authors/etc in one window and selected articles in the other, but can't bear the apparently baroque notes/news interface that looses garbage on the world every month or so. Emacs' rnews.ml was too slow when I tried it. How hard would it be to make rn do this, rn hackers? I suppose I could hack up dired to do it...
