The biggest threat to the safety of my VW was the morons in other small cars
who were constantly pulling in front of me. In thirty miles a day of rush hour
driving, there would typicly be three or four events requiring action on my
part (usually braking, but also swerving, etc.) to avoid damage to my car
and/or self. These were typicly small cars; vary rarely the boats. In the two
months that I've been driving my Impala, this has happened four (4) times, plus
a couple of times requiring mild decelleration. For some reason, I get the
idea that they really were looking. A couple of tons of steel seems to put the
fear of God (and Chevy :-) into men.
