Somebody got off a traffic ticket for doing a turn at a time of day it was signposted as illegal, on the grounds that the governing law did not give the municipalities jurisdiction to say that the sign meant Daylight Saving Time when the clocks did. So from now on, until the Province changes the law, all traffic signs must be interpreted as Standard Time, summer and winter.
