One expects that many, if not most, of the staff of USSR overseas
agencies will be KGB.  The UN is no different. Why should it be?
But it's a wild, wild extrapolation to go from this to the idea
that the UN is just another branch of the KGB, even allowing that
international funds pay the salaries of those agents.  I wouldn't
be surprised to find Russian roubles paying for a few CIA agents
at the UN, as well. (At least, I hope they are! The way the CIA screws up,
perhaps they aren't).
