If this mission is succesful, this will be the FIRST TIME EVER that a spacecraft has bee returned to Earth to prepare it to fly ANOTHER mission. You're forgetting the obvious!! The STS orbiters have been returned to Earth to fly another mission. Perhaps you meant to say UNMANNED spacecraft?
