Whether or not there is much activity on net.religion after the
Christians have their own group is rather irrelevant. I have had
many letters expressing the hope that Christians will take their
overbearing and domineering attitudes to another net and allow
the others to discuss more interesting matters. The notion that
the validity of Christianity is a hot topic is strictly in the
minds of Christians who are simply not challenged frequently be-
cause it is too much trouble to argue with them and they generally
don't want to be bothered with the facts because their minds are
already made up.

Not only would the discussions be more interesting without the
Christian domination, they would almost certainly be on a higher
level and conducted in a more subdued manner. Other groups don't
take the attitude that 'I'm right, and it's up to you to challenge
and disprove me... and if you try I'll get wound tight'. My words
may gag you... but Christian attitudes gag many.
