In today's episode, McGhee analyzes Britain's latest insult: advanced
minds in British intelligence believe that the IRA is too dumb
to have carried off the attempt on Thatcher's life. A connection
with Oliver Cromwell is adduced. The Irish role in UN peace-keeping
missions is praised. The ancestry of "Mad Mike" Hoare is questioned.
McGhee imagines himself in the role of Winston Smith, as cast by
Trisha.

Tune in tomorrow, when we hear McGhee say, "Obrien... OBRIEN!?"
