Code-wise, most stuff should work with the CMOS processor. However, you will
not be able to install this in a II+. The reason is that the CMOS unit
is clocked for 4 meg, and the slowest available version still runs at
2 meg. Apple themselves had to modify the bus timing on the IIe to handle
the 6502A, because the data windows were already gone by the time the bus
tried to accept valid data (hence, the inability to run very time-picky
Spiro-disk protected software). As far as I know, there is no version of
the II+ (or the 65C02) which is compatible.
