Lines: 32 I got the following info by calling TV station KCOP (channel 13 in Los Angeles), which is currently showing Star Trek reruns from brand-new prints: Up till now, of course, Star Trek has been shown on Saturday and Sunday at 5 PM. However, they are changing to the following schedule, appar- ently because two episodes a week just wasn't enough to satiate all the Trekkies in L.A.: Sunday: 5 PM Monday-Friday: 6 PM Saturday: suffer the pangs of withdrawal :-) No episode will be shown on Saturday (10/20) or Monday (10/22). "Charlie X" will appear on Sunday (10/21) at 5 PM. The new schedule will go into effect starting Tuesday (10/23) at 6 PM with a showing of "Balance of Terror". The person I talked to at KCOP said their general plan is to show the episodes in sequence. "The Naked Time" -- which would have been shown on 10/20 but for the schedule change -- will be shown on 11/5 instead. I have noted, by the way, that KCOP tends to start broadcasting each episode a bit early -- up to a minute before the start of the hour -- so you might want to be ready a minute or two ahead of time in order to get your full dose of Star Trek. -- Rich Wales UCLA Computer Science Department 3531 Boelter Hall // Los Angeles, CA 90024 // (213) 825-5683 ARPA: wales@UCLA-LOCUS.ARPA UUCP: ...!{cepu,ihnp4,trwspp,ucbvax}!ucla-cs!wales
