Before I get flamed at, here are the correct prices for PCN
and for T&A ( Jokes to /dev/null! ). PCN is $33/year, and
T&A is $35/year. Taken from the June 25,1984 issue.

Here is a summary/review of this issue for those who might
be considering a subscription:

This issue was 12 pages long.

I count about 50 games, of which ~18 were annotated.

Events covered were the USSR vs. the Rest of the World match,
the Capablanca Memorial, Bugojno, Cuban Championship, Oslo 1984,
and the Christiansen - Reshevsky match.

Results, but no games, were reported for Belgrade and the
	U.S. Junior Championship.

Also in this issue was "Game of the Month", by GM Svetozar
Gligoric. This is the column that used to appear in Chess
	Life.

This is a fairly typical issue, although many issues also
	have some theoretical stuff.

I have not seen T&A, so don't know what it is like. Anybody out there
care to post a review?

If you like GM and IM games, but don't feel like getting them 24 pages
a month, The Players publish a neat series called "Players Chess Annual".
This comes out every six months ( they must have a short year! ), and
contains about 1100 games, about 200 or so annotated. Also included are
all the major tournament results for that 6 month period, plus some
theoretical stuff. In short, the last six months worth of PCN. I think
that these are more useful than Informant, and they cost less.
