I agree, but unfortunately many people believe that a religion (or, frankly,
other systems of myths er I mean beliefs) that allow tolerance are inherently
weak--tolerance such as this could allow >gasp< questioning of values, and we
*all know what that means!*  [I think I remember an old R A Lafferty story that
presented this idea about tolerance==weak.]
