Sure there's a difference between an abortion and a nice Porsche.  But
the point was that you defended public funding by saying that to not do
so was to "discriminate against the poor."

I don't know where you've been, but that's the way society works, and
it's necessary.  If you want a society where they don't discriminate amongst
people acording to their ability to do productive work, go move to Albania
or start your own starving country.

Now I will admit abortion is a strange issue because there are a fair number
of people (wrong though they may be in my opinion) who think it's murder.
And you want to force them to pay for it!

All people who believe in paying for poor people's abortions should set up
a company that runs abortion clinics for the poor.  You can pay for it, perhaps
I will too, but don't FORCE the "pro-lifers" to pay just because they are
misguided on a moral issue.
