I agree with Arthur Olsen.  Instead of discussing and re-discussing the
implications of copyright laws on the net (especially by non-authorities)
it would be more constructive to approach Joe Bob's publishers to see if
they will grant permission for distribution.

Even if you do not like these columns, it would set a precedent that may
open the door for other material to reach the net in future times.
By showing respect for authors and their rights, the net will gain stature
in the eyes of artists, publishers, and their public.

Perhaps, we could entice authors, artists, or professional movie personnel
to contribute articles to the net as an educational or entertaining
experience.
