This just goes to show you can never say you've heard it all.
I found out ticket prices for airlines are going up on Saturday.
So I quick called Continental to buy my tickets now
for my November vacation before the increase takes effect.
Not so says the ticket agent. The price increase is already firm
so since you will be flying after Saturday, you will have to pay the
new rate. It's irrelevent that I'm buying the tickets now. After some
futile argument that the agent doesn't know what he's doing, I got the
old rate at another airline. But I can't believe what just happened.
I can just imagine the chaos that would ensue if every business was
run this way.
