Recently I submitted an article bragging about uucp under Eunice.
The response forced me to answer several old messages about uucp,
and send out the VMS command files to those who responded.

(1) I repeat the offer, and solicit discussion.
(2) When does the volume of responses warrant posting to the entire net ?
(the package is large, but not huge).
(3) In sending a VMS-executable-binary file, I found a program in /etc
on my Eunice distribution called "cvtbackup", which converts a
    VMS save-set-file to a Unix (512-byte-record) file.
By then uuencoding it, (also could be compressed), VMS binaries
    can be sent via mail.
