i too saw "Red Dawn" and I thought that the scenario was entirely plausible.
Any more Communist takeovers in Cen. Amer. and they will have a strong foothold.While I don't wish to sound hawkish, I think we have to keep an eye on the situation down there.  Just so you won't think that I don't know what the hell I'm talking about, I spent 5 years in the Navy and took part in the invasion of Grenada (which was done to prevent USSR/Cuba from building an airstrip that was in range of the Panama Canal).
