Now you know how all the women who've been snowed, bedded, and dumped
feel.  It's not very nice, is it?

You have my sympathy, but there's unfortunately no rules that say men
have a monopoly on being callous...  You'll have to notch this one
up to experience, and try not to feel dirtied by being used.

I feel honesty is *essential* to a good realtionship.  I'd never raise
expectations I had no intention of fulfilling, or claim warmer feelings
than I actually had.  Anyone can make mistakes interpreting someone
else's behaviour very early in relationship, but once you've known
someone for, say, 6 months or more, I think deceit is reprehensible.
I'd guess from your article this wasn't the > 6-months' trust sort
of deception, though -- you might want to clarify this if you'd like
further discussion.
