ATTENTION!!!! All empire hackers!!!!!

I am sincerely disappointed in the response to Dave Pare's posting
of a week ago. I think that Dave has a good idea. If we could get a 
composite, up-to-date version of Empire, and port it all of those
NEW unix machines out in net land, those poor souls out there on 
non-DEC, non-BSD machines could play too. I have also longed for visual
interface for Empire and I am willing to write it, but I do not want
to decompile Empire to do it. 

I know that the creator, Peter Langston, did not want the source 
destributed. And, I think that he had good reason ... just look at
rogue. BUT, the game should grow with UNIX!
