I am posting this article for an associate of mine that does not have access
to the network. He is interested in obtaining EMACS for his VMS system and
is in a quandry as to which EMACS to get; Unipress Emacs (which he and I
understand is Gosling Emacs) or CCA Emacs.

He is concerned about performance and has heard that Unipress Emacs
outperforms CCA Emacs. Is this true? Under what load conditions? Can
anyone help us with testimony based on first-hand experience?

Thank you.
