I have 1 year old Nissan stanza (10,000 miles) and its been
about 3000 miles since the last oil change. I noticed that
the oil level on the dip stick is quite close to the low mark.
Is is normal for a car this young to use that much oil. I change oil at
3000 miles anyway. My mechanic said that this is normal and he checked for
leaks (none found).
During the previous 2-3 oil changes the oil level was at high after
simialr milage.
I was under the impression that I would have to put about 30,000 - 40,000
miles before the car would start using up much oil.
thanks
