Is that the reasons why the hoardes of 8 -> 12 year olds are going in
as the first Living Wave for Allah in their holy Jihad against Iraq.
And all of the Reformation Wars. The early wars around 1000 AD as
Norway and Sweden went to it as Christian Sweden was "evangelizing via
swordpoint." (Remember the old Spanish inquisition: Confess and you
will die quickly - else...) The Jewish revolutions circa 0 BC. The
entire "history" of the Old Testament.

That is a quick sample off the top of my head across history of some
major conflicts caused over religion. There are more.

In its being used by the leaders to sermonize to the troops - of
course. Nothing like a little religious fervor to stir the troops
blood up. Just look at its power - e.g. Jonestown, Okinawa. In fact,
how about the kamikaze attacks of WWII where the greatest honor is to
go die for your emperor, who is considered to be a member of the
pantheon. By the way, the reference to Okinawa is for all the
Japanese civilians who threw themselves off the cliffs so that none
would have not died firghting the "American Dogs".

Yeah, I'll take you and all your little friends from net.religion
on... better have them bring lots of brimstone.

You think net.flame is hot, I am just getting ready for the burning in
hell that I will be doing.
