well gee, if you are going to dredge up all the people who had one-shot
appearances on ST, then how about:
The guy who played Jack the Ripper -- who has been in just about every
tv show ever-- a department-store manager in a twilight zone episode
with art carney (aka Edward L. Norton) as the drunk department-store
Santa Clause; the manager of a maximum-security appartment building in
an episode of the Odd Couple; and perhaps his greatest role as Mr. Peterson
in the Bob Newhart Show.

The little girl with the blond hair in the episode with the "friendly angel"
who has also been all over the place-- she played Edna in the Odd Couple,
and I seem to remember her on the Lassie series.

Eleanor Donahue, who was that bitchy diplomat-type person in the episode
with the "companion", and who also achieved great fame as the bitchy
older sister in Father Knows Best and as Felix's bitchy girlfriend in
the Odd Couple

And if you look closely and pay attention, you will note that the man who
played Cyrano Jones in the Trouble with Tribbles was also "Sure-Shot"
Wilson in the Odd Couple episode where Felix's opera club sponsers a
Monte Carlo night.

Oh! I almost forgot! Watch the episode "A piece of the Action", and see
if one of the mobster bosses doesn't remind you of a certain diner
owner/cook in the series "Alice"

Picture "The Riddler" (from the old "Batman" series) with his face half
white and half black, and see if you don't get something we've seen on
the bridge of the enterprise.

Mark Lenard had an incidental part in an episode of Bob Newhart as a lawyer
involved in a paternity suit against Mr. Carlin.

I once say DeForest Kelly as a bad-guy in a horrible western movie.

There are lots more of these, but I can't think of any more at the
moment.

I know that you are all scintillated by these vital bits of knowledge...
