I use the 53.X frequency band for my radio controlled models and have not
had any interference over the past two years.
The members of the club I am in use all of the the 53.X frequencies
with no problems.

I have not bothered to switch my equipment to 50.X since I have no
interference problems.

I am in Monmouth County N.J.

I can't speak for any other part of the country.
