I've just gotten wind of a new line of Unix workstations from Tektronix.

----- END OF DESCRIPTIVE TEXT ( or RUMORS if you prefer ) -----

The small versions of this look similar to the 4404 box ( which uses 4.2bsd
as it's kernel, I was told ). The best thing about these is the price.
The smallest is in the $10K region, while the workstation based on the
4115B display ( which is the most beautiful color display I've ever seen )
with 1 MB RAM and 40 MB disk is in the $32K range, quite a bit cheaper
than competitive color boxes with much less impressive grephics.

The sales rep claimed that these were introduced this week. Does anybody
know about them? Has anybody seen them?

C'mon, Tektronix, I know you're out there. If the sales reps will talk
about them, then you Tektronix weenies can tell all of us on the net
about your new products. Let's hear it.
