U.C. San Diego Lines: 15 [ Have you deflated your sew-ups today ? ] Ah, yes... it's almost October, time once again for the annual chase through the northern deserts of Baja California; one hun- dred and twenty five miles of flat, empty pavement and sun, sun, merciless sun. (Would good friends race this hard for a margurita? Only if the loser has to eat the worm !) But the current rumor has it that the road from Mexicalli to San Felipe washed out last winter, and that Monday International isn't putting on the ride this year (unless you have a gnarly mountain bike). Does anyone have better information ? Lance Berc (lance@nosc lance@pescadero sdcsvax!lance)
