If you are ever in Pasadena, try the Pasadena Freeway ( The 11 ).
There are on ramps that have a stop sign just before they meet the
freeway, and no merge lane after the stop sign!  Fun Fun Fun!

Then there are the off ramps.  Many freeways have a speed posted for
the off ramps that is 50% or even 100% lower than what these can
be taken at.  Not this one.  There are exits marked for 5 mph ( yes,
5, not 55 ), and they mean it!  These things have 90 degree turns into
a stop sign after ~30 feet.
