The last information I had on Bluth was when I talked to them at a con a
few months ago. I'm not very suprised at any of this information-- a lot of
their future success depended heavily on 'Dragon's lair' and other laser
disk video games. As we all know, that entire market has dried up
significantly. Bluth Studio's was, also, just another form of high-risk
startup. Lots of capital for a risky (but potentially great) return. I
hadn't heard of any defections as of last spring, but that doesn't mean
there weren't any. And I still don't believe that they were as significant
as the Disney debacles of the last few years...
