From his study he was able to determine the odds that evolution actually occured, and he came up with 1 in 10 to the some hundreds power, which any mathmatician can tell you is essentially zero. He was largly ignored because no scientist wanted to admit that evolution was improbable. The article I saw this in appeared in the Buffalo News within the past 2 or 3 years, and contained references to some science magazines. I may be able to get my hands on the article in a couple of weeks, but I'm not sure. If anyone else saw this article, and has a copy, feel free to preempt me and post it.
