The department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Santa Clara will
offer a two course Reactor Design sequence the winter and spring quarters of
1985. These are part of the Early Bird program; they are two unit courses that
meet from 7:00 to 9:00 one morning a week. If sufficient interest is shown,
the courses will be offered. If you are interested, write to

The two courses cover the basics of reactor design (fission) and safety. I
also need them for a nuclear emphasis for an undergraduate Engineering Physics
degree. The prerequisites for the course are Thermofluids I & II, which I am
taking concurrently (ugh!) this quarter.
