R+D, Santa Monica Lines: 36 System Development Corporation is looking for com- puter scientists with a strong systems programming background in UNIX and C to support a multi- million dollar networking research initiative. We need creative individuals interested in implement- ing DoD, ISO, and IEEE protocols in C for 32-bit microprocessor target machines. Parallel efforts using ADA are also underway. Current software development environment is VAX 4.2 with ETHERNET; a distributed workstation en- vironment is planned. The research efforts are targeted toward building prototypes for next- generation network products. Distributed process- ing intitiatives will be a strong component of the 1895 program. Positions are available in SDC's new corporate headquarters in Camarillo, CA. Camarillo is si- tuated midway between LA and Santa Barbara.
