The problem is a bug in the ZAPNOTES code in 2.10.2 inews.c which causes
the linecount to be lost.  When the article got to fortune, the notesfile
information was moved to the header and the linecount got reset to zero.

A fix for this problem is in <4241@fortune.UUCP> posted to net.news.b
on September 14.
