Now the end of the summer is nigh, with all its fresh fruits and berries
here is a traditional end-of-summer recipe. It also uses bread which
somebody was asking about a few weeks back.

			SUMMER PUDDING
			==============

	Ca. 2 lbs of assorted stawberries, rasberries, blackcurrants,
	redcurrants, rhubarb, gooseberries or whatever is available.
	Sugar
	Bread slices

	Stew the fruit gently with sugar to taste. Line pudding basin with
	buttered slices of bread (de-crust them first). Fill with fruit.
	Cover top with more bread, place plate on top and weight down.
	Put in fridge overnight.

	Turn out of basin to serve.

	Serve chilled with fresh cream.
