However, I recently saw a problem message (in one of the "news" newsgroups, I believe) which used a message to "net.roots" as an example. I am therefore sending this posting to both net.roots and net.news to check if "net.roots" postings are being lost somewhere along the line. Perhaps some host upstream from us is not passing on "net.roots" postings. If that is a two-way blockage, this will get out on net.news, but not on net.roots.
