Here are the rules, revisited: 1. Modules should be written in mm or cat (frankly, there's no other way!) 2. Modules may be from level 5 up to 15. 3. In no case will the module be rated on a curve(see judgement rules). 4. The following items must be included in your module: + map (a little obvious ...) + description (if you leave this out, I'd be wondering how you got this job/college.) + background + DM notes 5. Optional: + new monsters or treasure + table for wandering monsters 6. Please place the following line at the beginning and the end of your module if you would rather not have your module posted: Please post this module to {the following nets|no nets} -------------------|------- 1 O R 2 JUDGEMENT RULES: Modules will be rated as follows: 1. Playability - i.e. if in your module, you were to kill 10,000 kobolds and nothing more, you would get a low score in this category. points how 1 lousy, like killing 10,000 kobolds 2 fair, like killing 5,000 kobolds and 5,000 orcs 3 good, like a variety of 3-10 monsters 4 very good, like 10-15 monsters 5 excellent playability 2. Creativity points how 1 lousy, like being exactly the same as another module 2 fair, such as half/half 3 good, more towards creativity 4 excellent 3. Traesure Amounts points how 1 too much or too little treasures 2 otherwise 4. Monster Types points how 1 monsters are no match for players 2 monsters much too hard, impossible 3 otherwise, but players must have chance of death The highest scorer will receive: + a program to create characters - features auto-rolling (not YET completed) + a game program based on the AD&D DragonLance series (not yet completed - part I - no name given yet) The second highest scorer will receive: + either of the above The third place scorer will receive: + a program to roll characteristics ONLY
