I personally prefer a Mirrycle (probably a trademark).  It attaches to
your left brake handle mounting, is steady, doesn't fall off, and is
still conveniently located.  It also does not tend to distract my
peripheral vision (which I find helmet-mounted mirrors do).  Finally,
I don't have to wear a helmet every time just in order to use a
mirror...
