The New York Times is supposed to be good, except for the typos ( constant
replacement of "e4" with "P-K4", etc ).  Try your public library.

Try "Players Chess News".  Costs about $30 a year, 26 issues a year.
It has results from most important international events, annotated
games, etc.  They also have a "Theory and Analysis" paper, that comes
out on the weeks that PCN does not.  It is also $30.  Editors are
Christiansen (sp?) and Tarjan ( Not sure about this...he might have
