    All you people that are flaming so profusely about the way
    Apple computers have "devaluated" in recent months should
    realize that Apple is not the only company this is occurring 
    with.  Many companies are reducing prices on computers, and
    forecasters expect this trend to continue.
 
    A good example of this is the TRS-80, Models 4 and 4P.  This
    machine was listed in the 1984 catalog at $1799.00.  It came
    out in the 1985 catalog at $1299.00.  Recently, there was a
    sale on these units for $999.00.  Some franchise stores were
    selling the computers for even less...
 
    This is a 64K Z80A machine with 2 184K drives and a built-in
    monitor.  It comes complete with a communications package/
    terminal emulator, TRSDOS 6.1 (should be 6.2, as that was
    just released), and RAMDisk.  
 
    I was lucky enough to get one at the sale price, but even at
    that, I have a feeling that the regular price will go down
    even below what I paid during the sale.
