A friend of mine is thinking about putting up 2.9 on an 11/23 with 512k
of memory. Leafing through the 'Installing and Operating 2.9bsd' document,
he discovered that "2.9 does not support more than 256k of memory on
the 11/23..." Is this really the case? What would it take to change
this? He is very concerned, because RL02's are 22-bit. Would he
have to change the kernel, or just the RL driver? Also, does anyone
have an RL driver that supports partitioning? If not, how do you
handle your swap space? Please mail replies to me. Thanks in advance.
