And then there are these four lane roads(two each direction) with a 
striped yellow center lane. They are found in business districts 
where left hand turns are common along the entire street. The purpose
for the center lane is to allow you to wait to make your turn without 
impeding traffic behind you. Now many drivers have center lane taboo.
This implies a need to leave half your car jutting out behind you while
the front end is in the neutral zone. Of course those cars following are
now stuck and can go nowhere. Praise be to the inventor of the horn.
