Somewhere in my stack of old aviation mags, Sport Aviation I think,
I have an article stating that a pusher prop is about 15 percent
more efficient than a tractor. If you look at the specs on the 
Cessna Skymaster you'll see that the single engine performance
figures for the pusher are higher than for the tractor.
