I have heard mention of someone having code that ran under 4.2bsd
that allowed one to pump packets on the ethernet that did not
involve ARP/IP/.....  I want to put put packets of my own design on
the ethernet while not loosing the ability to communicate with
that interface via IP/TCP&UDP/......, I also don't want to reinvent
the wheel.
