Meat in Kitchener, Ontario is closing for good because its workers refused to take a pay cut. I cannot help but think that there must be something wrong with a system (or set of laws, or group of people, or whatever) that would sooner see a company shut down than pay its workers wages that would allow it to possibly be competitive and hence stay open. I also sympathize with that portion of Canada's 1.4 million jobless who would willingly work at the reduced wage, but will never get the opportunity to do so. J.B. Robinson
