Warning: Do not alter the belt anchors so that the shoulder belt
attach point is below the shoulder.  This results in spinal 
compression injuries due to the resulting downward net force.
This information from EAA aircraft design forum. I can't tell
from the referenced note just how low on the column the anchor 
was installed.
