1) Don't know much about Cousin Brucie Morrow, but I do know that once
a month he hosts an "Oldies Party" on Saturday evenings (7-12) on
WCBS-FM (101.1 out of New York).

2) Here are a few more nominations for seminal R&R albums:

   THE CHUCK BERRY LONDON SESSIONS
   The Beach Boys' PET SOUNDS

Also, I have a few "desert-island" albums that don't really fit into
   rock-and-roll but I consider personal classics. I wouldn't part
   with my copies of:

Gordon Lightfoot's GORD'S GOLD (a greatest hits album)
   Carole King's TAPESTRY
   Jim Croce's I'VE GOT A NAME

3) As far as dumb lyrics go, the sapping, whining, self-pitying
words of "Seasons in the Sun" by Terry Jacks (?) have an infinite
   ability to irk.
