Well here is what you do. Include this file in your 'bin' account or in your path searchlist somewhere. Make it is executable with a 'chmod +x rot13' command. Also make sure to say 'rehash' so the shell can find the file. --------------- # rot13 - rotate a joke cat $* | tr n-za-mN-ZA-M a-zA-Z > /tmp/rotated_joke postnews /tmp/rotated_joke rm /tmp/rotated_joke --------------- When you want to rotate a joke, make the final joke in a file and then say: % rot13 file_name Subject:. . To decode a joke, from readnews say 'D 13' or to save it to a file, 'D 13>file_name' or 'D 13>>file_name'. If it is in a file already you can say 'cat file_name | tr a-zA-Z n-za-mN-ZA-M'.
