Since he is on a four-lane interstate, he is obliged (isn't he?) to take a 30-degree angle, cutting madly across all 3 other lanes of traffic in order to reach the intended exit. 4) The Entrance Ramp Crawl -- I just named that one myself, knowing no other. This is where the person in the car in front of you entering the interstate appears to completely forget that he is about to embark on a journey on a high-speed freeway, where the speed limit is 55mph and the normal traffic speed is something more like 65 (particularly at rush hour). This person, oblivious to the environment around him, calmly proceeds along the entrance ramp at a 35mph crawl, thus preventing me from being able to enter the interstate properly myself. This problem is particularly evident in the state of New York. Geez, what do people think those entrance ramps are for, anyway? Then again, I could always discuss the problem which Ohio drivers have with turn signals (what's a turn signal? oh, THAT'S what that funny stick on the left side of the steering wheel is for. i thought i had two sets of windshield wipers...), or which Colorado drivers have with lane changes... GAA!! But then, I must always also remember to say "{:-)}" since I have on random occasion been guilty of both of the above, I guess. And now for a single statement which will no doubt get me flamed endlessly, but which I find amusing in an odd sort of way... {:-)} {:-)} {:-)} {:-)} {:-)} {:-)} {:-)} {:-)} {:-)} Women drivers come in two sexes! {:-)} {:-)} {:-)} {:-)} {:-)} {:-)} {:-)} {:-)} {:-)} (Origin: a friend of mine, feeling chauvinistic one day, proclaimed, "Woman drivers!" at an especially offensive driver one afternoon, just in time for said "woman" to turn and present a, shall we say, rugged male face to him, with something less than a smile on said face. Thereafter, whenever a driver makes a bad maneuver which this friend notices, he announces the afore-mentioned fact.) -- Karl Kleinpaste @ Bell Labs, Columbus 614/860-5107 {cbosgd,ihnp4}!cbrma!kk @ Ohio State University 614/891-5058 cbosgd!osu-dbs!karl karl.Ohio-State@Rand-Relay
