Lines: 15 I have now "read" three books from "Books On Tape," Newport Beach, California. Their service is prompt and efficient, the readers are uniformly excellent. Recording quality is erratic, but intelligible. Prices are generally $12-16 for a one-month rental. This is expensive compared to buying a book, but that's not a fair comparison. To me, getting in some good reading in otherwise wasted time on the freeway is worth the price. Their toll-free number is 1-800-626-3333. The address is: Books On Tape P.O. Box 7900 Newport Beach, CA 92658 Does anyone know of another company offering a similar service?
