Does anyone have any data that describes the execution speed up
of interpreted versus compiled LISP? E.g., interpreted versus
compiled MACLISP, INTERLISP, FranzLISP. Is there any evidence
to suggest that compiling increases the efficiency of constructs
other than PROG?
