Mon. 6) Edvard Munch Museum, T/oyengarten 53, is open from 10am to 8pm ex. Mon. 7) Oslo city hall is open from 11am to 2pm. 8) Akershus Castle, is open from 10am to 3pm. Other possibilities include: The National Gallery from 6 to 8 pm on Thursday. Oslo Cathedral at 8 pm on Thursday for music and prayer. Metropol, 8 Askersgate, for combo and food. Loftet, 26 Stortingsgaten, for disco and food. La Boheme, 14 Ullevalsveien, for beer and food. Chateau Neuf, 7 Slemdalsveien, disco, food, bar, concerts, folk music... Jegerhalled, 38 Akersgata, singles, beerfest, food. National Theater, Karl Johans Gate, stage. Norwegian National Opera, Youngstorget, opera, operetta, and ballet. As you can see the main tourist places are closed very early. Be sure to get "Oslo Guide" as soon as you land to confirm the opening hours and which places are still in business. My experience is a couple years old.
