Yes, Cleese's companion was none other than Eleanor Bron (sp?), who
is a fairly famous British comedian (no flames, I know she's female,
but 'comedienne' sounds so odd to me). She appeared on at least one
album that I know of with Monty Python, Peter Cook, and others,
called "A Poke in the Eye (With a Sharp Stick)". It is not a new
album, so I would imagine it is hard if not impossible to get here.
The only time I saw it I bought it. There are several fairly well
known actors in Britain who have appeared in episodes, but at the
moment that is the only one who rings a bell, and all of my
memorabilia is at home. Sigh....
