We use RCS for our multi-person project revision control, and the ability to place a symbolic link in each team member's working source directory, each link pointing to a common master source directory, is an elegant solution to the common sourcing problem; one which requires no changes to RCS or wierdness in the Makefile. -- Robert Reed, Tektronix Logic Design Systems Division, tektronix!teklds!bobr
