    As interesting as the "sauna in the snow" sounds, I'd much rather be
thinking about a dip in a pool in a cold mountain stream (in August) 
than sloshing around in the snow...  
 
 
    In magazines, I've seen articles on the use of these saunas in the
wintertime.  I guess they are popular in places like Vermont, Alaska,
and Northern California.  I don't know why those places, but I guess
maybe it has something to do with the "remoteness" of those locations.
From what I've read, this can be a stimulating experience;  I guess the
change from hot, humid air to the icy-cold snow is pretty invigorating.
