Use parking lights only when you leave your car for a shoort time in a permitted zone. Parking lights cannot be used alone when driving. Now the last statement there certainly is not true. Parking lights CAN be used alone when driving. I've seen thousands of cars, including one police car yesterday, doing it. Maybe the sentence should read 'Parking lights MUST not be ...'. What I want to know is - Is it ILLEGAL to drive with only your parking lights on? If anyone has access to the state of NJ motor vehicle legal codes, will you please post the answer to this question? Thanks in advance. - Bill Cambre ATTISL 02272 ihnp4!houxe!45223wc (201) 834-3788
