of fact.  You see, there is this other institution of higher education
located to the south of West Lafayette which *insists* on calling
itself *the* Indiana University. 

	Although the institution in Bloomington is, by name, that 
institution, we at Purdue find it hard to believe that a University
can exist where the students can't read their diplomas (the students
at that other institution are too busy partying to read their diplomas;
they probably have already spilled beer on them).  

	So, those of us who live, work, and play at Purdue, THE Indiana
University thought that the people of the world should know the truth. . .
