Subject: Wanted info regarding f77 cross compilers for micro code

Does anybody know of any cross compilers for generating micro code from
Fortran (or any other high level language); public domain or for sale?
I want to write my algorithms in Fortran and have the compiler generate
the bits for my own bit slice machine.

I understand such a thing exists and was maybe started from work done
at some University.

Thanks,

Bob Kuseski, Hewlett-Packard Fort Collins Systems Division, Colorado
