He got a disk drive (1541 I think) and the 1546 graphics printer. The problem we encountered was that when everything was put together the printer has this light on the front that blinks. When we tried to print to the printer, nothing happened. Any ideas? Heres the code we used open 3,4 print #3,"hello there" resulted in the following printed to the screen ?syntax error I don't understand why this example didn't work? The printer just sits there. Also the computer hung up a couple of times and had to be restarted only by turning it on and off. I do have a VIC-20 and have some idea of how the cbm machines work, but here I am stumped... Please reply by mail. Thanks very very much, Alex Polozoff leung@acf4 allegra!cmcl2!acf4!leung leung@NYU.ARPA
