I still cannot say for sure that the enchant/protect armor > scrolls do the same, but I have a feeling that they do. I'm using version 5.3 . ***************************************************************************** ***************************************************************************** WRONG.......WRONG..........WRONG..........WRONG..........WRONG.......WRONG.. To put this debate to an end, once and for all, (I hope), I played a "suicide game" just to test out this theory..... Anyway, "a strange sense of loss" will only occur when a scare monster scroll is read, NOT when an echant weapon scroll is read and no armour is being read.... As for the protect/enchant armour scrolls, I never was able to find out, but will let you all know when they do..... By no means a rogue wizard, but certainly trying... .. jim lahren
