Specifically: - Any good/bad recommendations of charter services and areas to sail to - when is the best time to go - what qualifications must one have as a sailor to charter a bareboat - how do charter services verify your qualifications (There is no intend upon deceiving a charter service, just interested in knowing if they will require a demonstration of sailing skill regardless of stated qualifications or if there is some certification that can be obtained before flying south) - is it best to get provisions with the boat or buy your own Thanks in advance for your help. Please feel free to offer other advice not specifically asked for as we are new to this game. Thanks Dave K.
