Almost none of the details are true, but it's a fine story. A little more authenticity would have been nice--more forte-piano and baroque instruments--and the dubbing of the singing was too damn obvious. Also, the guy who played Mozart should have taken at least 1 conducting lesson. One nice touch: The introduction to the d-minor piano concerto is played to the scene of Mozart learning that his father has died.
