	And so there was this dead cat.  Its flattened eyeballs
	were smeared on the road.  Did I mention that it was on
	the road?  The dead cat I mean.  I remember what road it
	was; the one between my grandmother's house and the deli.
	Anyway, about the cat:  most of the fur had been eaten by
	the maggots.  I remember because the maggots were throwing
	a party; not bad, either, until my dad got drunk and puked.
	Oh, yes, the cat.  I ate it.
