I am planning a trip to the desert near Palm Springs in a month or so and am
going to do some photography while I'm there. Since I've never done desert
photography, I'd appreciate any suggestions anyone out there might have. I'll
probably do both black&white and color. I guess my main concern is if I can
expect the light to play tricks on me (whether I can trust my meter readings,
hand-held or through-the-lens, etc.). I'm going to be trying out some new
filters, too, (some grad's, stars, etc.), so any suggestions there would also
be appreciated. Thanks.
