I don't see what "facts" have to do with anything, after all, this IS an election year, and what the politicians will tell us (I make NO party/affiliation references here) is what they think we want to hear. Facts are not at issue, what is at issue is what sort of lie will fool the most people into voting for the politician. I don't see why net.politics should be any different, really, since all we see is tired old ideological ravings (communists are godless, "imperialism is the highest form of capitalism", and all the old lies) Give me a break. There have been a few indisputable facts mentioned here, and not a bloody person has risen to the occasion.
