A few weeks ago we were discussing the famous "lawn chair"
flying machine. I finally found the newspaper article.

The "story" was filed by AP out of Long Beach.
The "flyer" was Larry Walters from North Hollywood.
The "launch" was out of San Pedro.
The "landing" occured in Long Beach.

Larry was quoted on landing as saying "Since I was 13 years
old, I've dreamed of going up into the clear blue sky in a
weather balloon. By the grace of God, I fullfilled my dream.
But I wouldn't do it again for anything."
