WRONG.......WRONG..........WRONG..........WRONG..........WRONG.......WRONG..

     To put this debate to an end, once and for all, (I hope), I played
     a "suicide game" just to test out this theory.....

     Anyway, "a strange sense of loss" will only occur when a scare
     monster scroll is read, NOT when an echant weapon scroll is read
     and no armour is being read....

     As for the protect/enchant armour scrolls, I never was able to find  
     out, but will let you all know when they do.....
