I'm not a regular reader. I have a wasp problem. On warm afternoons, a small congregation (about a half-dozen to a dozen) of wasps (Mud Daubers, I think) gathers on my porch. I cannot find any nesting activity, and the local extension service has no other suggestions. Is this sort of "hanging out" behavior typical? Are they choosing the porch as a shady spot while raiding rotting fruit in the backyard? Can I talk them into leaving? Any help appreciated. Please respond by e-mail. ---------- Nathan Meyers hplabs!hp-pcd!nathanm
