Last Saturday I auditioned some loudspeakers at Leonard Radio (44th St., NYC).
The one speakers that clearly outperformed the rest of the pack, in particular
ADS and Infinity, were GUSS (System 4) speakers (list price 3K). I don't
consider myself a golden ear at all; however I could clearly hear a difference
between GUSS and all the other speakers, much more than between the others
themselves. What impressed me most: the GUSS speakers conveyed much more the
feeling of sitting in a concert hall than any of the other speakers. I should
mention that the auditioning room was very small.

I am interested in buying them and the dealer is willing to give me a good
price on the floor sample. However, before I spend a considerable amount of
money, I would like to hear some comments from 1) people who own GUSS speakers,
2) people who have auditioned GUSS speakers, and 3) people who have dealt with
Leonard Radio.

Any comments will be greatly appreciated. If this article generates enough
interest and mail, I will summarize to the net.

Thanks in advance.
