   I am very interested in the reviews of the Uniden CR-2021.

   Pleas coudl someone tell me if it uses a battery pack and if so the
voltage.  It looks as if it would make a fine emergenecy/survivalist radio.
Solar cells of the 6v/12v type are reasonably priced and are quite capable
of recharging NiCads for intermittent use.
