       To call it a publicity stunt really demonstrates  who's  sticking
       their  head in the sand. Did you happen to see the news when they
       were talking to the students at Brown? Most of those who  thought
       that  the  proposition was silly said they thought it was dumb to
       be so negative about nuclear war.

       I certainly wouldn't want any cyanide pills handy  at  my  campus
       medical  centre  but  I  would have signed that petition. It's to
       make people aware and wake them up before they get blown off  the
       face  of the earth. Besides, thinking back to the elections at my
       undergrad university, I would think this would give the  students
       something more interesting to vote about than who is the most po-
       pular person on campus.

       In a way, the author of the above article is correct. The  propo-
       sition has shown the true mentality of some Brown students, name-
       ly the ones mentioned above.
