Since I haven't followed the field much in the last couple of years, I thought I would let the readers help me to make a decision. My system consists of a pair of Bose 901 Series I speakers powered by a Bose power amp. I also use a pair of Micro- Acoustic tweeters to provide the highs. I have a Dynaco PAT-5B pre-amp along with a Technics SL-1600 turntable. As you can see, my equipment is old but still sounds pretty good(at least to me)! I am now using a Signet cartridge which was recommended to me by a salesman five years ago. I called up the best store in town (Washington, D.C.), Myer-Emco, and they recommended another Signet cartirdge, TK7- LCA, as being a very good match for the eequipment. I am open to all suggestions and am willing to pay up to $200 for a cartridge. I considered buying the best Audio-Technica has to offer but I have been told that it's not even as good as the Signet I have now! Please help me make a decision!!!! Thanx, Ron Wilson IMS, Inc.
