We at the Maryland Computer Science Department are using an Imagen 8/300
laser printer on an ethernet. The networking hardware
is whatever Imagen supplied at there end, and Interlan boards
at our ends (3 vaxes and a Pyramid). The software was all
supplied by Imagen and works just fine. (Actually we now
suspect that Imagen did not implement the full tcp protocol,
and when our ethernet gets noisy packet acknowledgements are
not handled right. But this is only rumor. More on this later.
It is a VERY RARE problem.)
