Eric Drexler is a brilliant physist, but has never built a spacecraft that
flew in his life. He also is not aware of what NASA is doing. Most of the
concepts presented in his L5 article can also be found in the space station
request for proposal. In particular, NASA is aware that space station is
not seriously weight constrained.
