Having never heard of GUSS speakers and being wary of "special demo prices"
I recommend that you at least audition the following speakers:
 Quad ESL-63 ~$3k
 Magnaplanar (various models some very good ones at ~$1k)
 Acoustat (various models some around $1k)
 Snell (various models)
 Apoggee (full range ribbon speakers one version around $3k)
 B&W (try the top of line models)
 Celeston (try the top of line models)

Good luck, and take my advice: DON'T BUY DEMOS!
