Is it just this host, or are you all seeing many, many duplicated articles
in just about every newsgroup? It seems like 9 out of ten groups I look at
contain several articles which appear twice, sometimes right after one
another, and sometimes with a number of other articles in between.

These are articles from many different posters, including some of the
well-known and highly-experienced net personalities, so I cannot
attribute the cause to novices posting the same article twice in error.
They seem to have come by a variety of paths; they even include a
few of the infamous "false-zero-length" items.

If this is a general plague, can anyone suggest a cause (and cure)?
