In response to the query about playing games:

I prefer to think that I play, for lack of a better word, play-forms.
"Games" carries the unfortunate overtones of rules and points (notches
on the bedpost and that sort of thing) and rules for scoring points,
which I'd prefer not to worry about.  Umm, that sounds awfully anarchistic,
which isn't accurate either.  Play-forms tend to have their own internal
logics that you really do have to abide by, and I'm also not wild about
jungle volleyball. Anyhow, I find about as many people are dreadfully
serious about the games they play as about anything else people do.
Besides which, I was never much good at scoring points in normal games
and never much understood the rules anyhow. :-)
