I heard the History of a Soldier by Igor Stravinsky performed by 
probably Aaron Copland, Virgil Thomson, and another notorious
old man of American Music, on the radio on NPR, a year or two ago.
I don't think I recorded it.  It was fun to hear, but unremarkable.
I'm not a big fan of that crowd.  Ives, Cage, Varese, Noncarrow
Luening and others of that generation more or less are my favorites.
