A prominant biologgical ( I believe ) Scientist in England some time
ago was involved in the study of complex microorganisms. From his
study he was able to determine the odds that evolution actually
occured, and he came up with 1 in 10 to the some hundreds power,
which any mathmatician can tell you is essentially zero. He was
largly ignored because no scientist wanted to admit that evolution
was improbable. The article I saw this in appeared in the
Buffalo News within the past 2 or 3 years, and contained references
to some science magazines. I may be able to get my hands on the article
in a couple of weeks, but I'm not sure. If anyone else saw this article,
and has a copy, feel free to preempt me and post it.
