I just saw a preview of a new movie with JoBeth Williams and Tom Conti
called "American Dreamer". It's on the same lines as "Romancing the Stone,"
a cheap romantic novel feeling with a comic book ending.

Liked it.

I especially liked the way that "Rebecca Ryan" (heroine) and "Dimitri"
(sidekick) worked together. That she had lost grip on reality and he
was constantly trying to have her committed was nice.
