Isolationism and profits have nothing to do with one another, in the 1920's we were isolationist and profits soared. In my history books, the 'Phillipine war' was part of the Spanish American War, and had nothing to do with saturated markets. In the late 1890's, immigrants were pouring into this country, creating vast markets. Before spouting off some socialist rhetoric from the 60's, you should check some of your fantasy facts. By the way, the last place to get a good lesson in any sort of economics is from a politician. Bob
