I have a lisa 1 with the 2/5 upgrade running the UniPress System V. Yes, the system is not fast. A typical compile & load for a small program is about 30 seconds. I use the original Profile 5 meg disk. I should warn you that 5 meg just don't cut it with UNIX. There are disks with more capacity and speed sold by Unipress but they are pricey. I think they sell Corvus 20megs and Sunol 15 to 45 megs. They claim a four-fold improvement in access times, but I would have to see that to believe it. vax135!orion!reha
