Message-ID: <195@ssc-bee.UUCP> Date: Fri, 21-Sep-84 16:29:46 EDT Article-I.D.: ssc-bee.195 Posted: Fri Sep 21 16:29:46 1984 Date-Received: Wed, 26-Sep-84 01:41:13 EDT Organization: Boeing Aerospace, Seattle Lines: 23 Despite my previous flames about Apple Computer, the Company, I am buying an Apple Computer ][e to replace my aging ][. With the low price of ][e's (<$700), I will stick with my software library another year or so waiting for the real Mac (color, etc.). In the meantime, I want some disk storage. I mean 140k is a drag, and with Prodos heirarchial directories almost totally inadequate. Your help is solicited. I want a high-density ( :=) drive,300k or more. I know of the Rana drives. Has anyone heard of anything else? Please also tell me if the drive will read/write standard disks (so I can share data with friends) and how easy it was to install the drives under Prodos (if you have it). Thanks. -- Mike Eve Boeing Aerospace, Seattle ...uw-beaver!ssc-vax!ssc-bee!eve
