Be warned that in some states (like California) it is theoretically
illegal to run pre-recorded messages unless a person first asks
you if you want to hear it, and they are also supposed to monitor
it and release as soon as you hang up.

Setting up crontab to dial numbers, without playing messages or
having some "commercial" intent, would probably be considered
to be simple harrassment and would most likely be illegal in and
of itself.  I recommend more carefully considered techniques
to deal with such situations.
