I expect this will be part of a chorus, but...

People *can* be intimate and still be friends.  People can be lovers
and still be friends.  It doesn't happen every day, but when it does,
there's nothing better (except for all this, and a hot fudge sundae
too, (especially eaten by a wonderful view, or across the table from
one) :-)).

Sigh.  If one thinks it's impossible, it is--for that person.  But
what an attitude!  Defeated before you begin.  It may be hard to
believe when counterexample after counterexample comes your way, but it
really can (and does) happen.

Of course, it helps that I'm in the middle of reading Buscaglia's new
book with my fiancee...
