I am currently trying to decide what Medical/Hospital Insurance plans
to obtain. I have currently been comparing the insurance available through
my IEEE membership with that provided by Blue Cross/Blue Shield.

Making this comparison is somewhat difficult due to the fact that
the IEEE's group insurance plan provides coverage for 80% of the medical fees,
whereas Blue Cross/Shield Shield provides coverage according to a table
(which I do not know how much of the actual cost is actually being covered
by looking at these figures...it may be around 80%, it may be 100%,
i've never required hospitalization so i just don't know).

Does anyone have any information that could assist my decision making?
I'd really appreciate hearing from those who do.

Thanks,
Ron Blechman
