I am considering building a quad antenna, and I have some questions I would
like to ask the net:

- Where can I get fiberglass spreaders, and are they worth the extra expense
   over bamboo?

- I am considering mounting the antenna on a tripod on the roof of my two
story house. What is a good tripod-rotator combination? I would like to
locate the rotator below the top of the tripod to keep some of the stress
   off it.

- I can get a 2-element boomless spider locally. Are boomless quads sturdy?

- I am interested in anyones experience with quad construction, and the per-
   formance of the antenna.

- I hope to make a tri-bander, so I am interested in feed methods too.

I will appreciate your help. Please reply by mail, and I will post a follow-
up article if there is interest.

                              Thanks in advance,
                              Robert T. Neece N4JEO
