The causes for this have been discussed during the past month or so, and I don't want to re-start that particular discussion. However, I have noticed a bad effect of this phenomenon. When you come across one of these "false-zero- length" postings while reading news, and give a C-R to read it, it is not handed off to "More" to handle the screen-length pausing; it is just displayed in an unstopping stream. Can this be fixed without affecting the way normal items are handled? Will Martin
