Today, for reasons probably God only knows, I bought a 1981 Honda CBX--the
6-cylinder "sport/touring" bike. I wasn't shopping for a bike, and
certainly not a CBX, but I stumbled on a "deal I couldn't refuse." (Oh
well...what's another debt...)

I've long admired the looks and sound of the CBX--sort of a 2-wheeled
Porsche--but I never saw myself owning one. Up to now, my biggest bike has
been a Suzuki 450 twin. This CBX is another thing altogether.

If any of you own, or have owned, a CBX, I would like to hear about your
experiences, observations, etc. Other than things any long-time biker
should know, are there cautions, warnings, or whatever, specific to the
CBX? I will be using the CBX primarily for daily commuting (60 miles,
freeways and fast canyons).

Please mail me; no need to bore the whole net. I'll post a summary if
anything of general interest turns up.

Thanks.
