Seriously, it is always possible that you're just running a bad string of
luck. I've got suggestions on how to change that, but that is beside the
point. I've always known men who were much more interested in the image
they portray than the results those images bring. Actually succeeding at
being a 'ladies man' can sometimes severely cramp the style of someone who
wants to simply look like one. Another possibility is that the men involved
simply aren't sure how to deal with success, or with somewhat aggressive
women (haven't we covered that recently??? *grin*) and got uptight or
tonguetied (not the appropriate thing for your tongue to be...). Perhaps
they were teases. There are lots of things that could be happening besides
the malicious (sometimes I wonder why I'm so hopelessly optimistic about
people-- they end up being disappointing). 

Of course, someone could have laid a curse on you to keep everyone else
away until they get their hands on you, too.... :->
