The "Pseudo-Texan" and West Virginian accent/dialect
are basically the same. The so-called South Midland
dialect is spoken from the Applachian mountains
in Pennsylvania down through West Virginia, Virginia,
Kentucky, Tennessee and on down into Texas.
I'm from southwestern Virginia, near Tennessee,
West Virginia and Kentucky, and I'm often taken
for a Texan by those familiar with the speech pattern.
