Many members of the Western Pennsylvania DX Association use the KLM KT-34XA
antenna with great results. One guy replaced his monobanders on 20, 15 and 10
with a KT-34XA ! It's a big antenna, but offers great performance in a tri-
bander. If you're worried about an antennna surviving the Massachusetts
winters, then maybe a TA-33 is the way to go. But at a height of 30-35 ft,
perhaps a Quad is the best bet; Gem Quad products (they advertise in QST) sells
2-, 3-, and 4-element quads. If you have a bit of real estate, maybe you
should consider phased verticals. They are electrically steerable and offer
good performance. There was a series of articles in Ham Radio magazine
earlier this year about phased verticals.

Good Luck & 73,	-Mike, K3MC
