What I'm looking for should be able to subtract two different outputs from the date program, generating a time difference in days (optionally) hours minutes and seconds. It would also be nice to be able to add a time to a date giving another date. Arbitrary formats (perhaps like that of getdate()) would be nice. The recently posted fdate seems to be able to add a time to the current date, but I'd like something more general. -- Ken Turkowski @ CADLINC, Palo Alto, CA UUCP: {amd, decwrl, dual, flairvax, nsc}!turtlevax!ken ARPA: turtlevax!ken@DECWRL.ARPA
