Guten Tag!
I'm sure someone out in netland will be able to help -
Does anyone have the recipe for Spiesebraten (aka. Schakelbraten)?
It's a wonderful German dish found primarily in and around
Idar-Oberstein, Deutschland (however, I understand the recipe originated
in Brazil). For those who have never heard of spiesebraten, it's
a very thick slice of pork (pork loin?) marinated in a solution
of wine and spices, then broiled very slowly over an open fire
on a circular grill suspended from a tripod. "Schakel" means rocking
and speise means "spicey". Any help in locating the recipe
would be very appreciated - Danke schon!
