Picking up a couple pieces of litter a day is a great idea! If everyone
did that we'd probably be rid of the problem in two months or so.  A
friend of mine had an interesting solution to where to throw away a piece
of trash when no trash can was in sight:  On the cleanest lawn around!
Someone is sure to come out and pick it up before too long...
