Here at NYU, we had a microsoft rep. stop by a few days ago, and when asked
about Multiplan on  512K Mac, she said that " it will run, but won't
take advantage of the extra memory", she mumbled something about the 
memory size being hardwired in....    Hmmm.  This makes me wonder if
they are going to charge real $$ to get the upgrade, and when/if it will
ever be available.   I don't have too much faith in Microsoft, as I have
been waiting for MONTHS(!!) for my updrade to Multiplan V1.02 (I have 1.01),
and I have gotten tired of calling.

I really think microsoft ought to rethink THEIR user interface.  Crufty prod-
ucts and bad customer service do not for "Consumer loylty" and profits make.
