Robert has conveniently omitted the relevant details of the story, such as the hassles the guy caused for the people who enforce this rule. If you want to know who's REALLY wasting money, note that the guy had the option of paying his fine for disobeying rules that he's bound (by his license) to follow. Instead, HE chose to make an expensive court case out of it. The last I saw, he'd said that he'd "take it to the Supreme Court if necessary" (typical idiot's response to not understanding our laws, let alone our judicial system). Suppose he could do that--how much is THAT gonna cost us? In this case, HE'S soaking tax money so that he can do his bitching. Gee, I suppose that if it's ok to use anything for bait, it's also OK to fish anywhere you want. I bet stocking ponds make great fishing! If you don't understand WHY there are regulations regarding the bait you use when sport fishing, that doesn't mean that they don't make sense. In other words, don't be so damned eager to pull a Proxmire. -- Dick Dunn {hao, ucbvax, allegra}!nbires!rcd (303)444-5710 x3086 ...Relax...don't worry...have a homebrew.
