It works OK, except that the first time it is accessed after power-up, it apparently seeks past track 0, making the nasty hammering sound. The original Apple drive doesn't do this. I am worried that the second drive is having alignment problems because it occasionally stops being able to read certain files. Has anyone else had this problem and/or learned how to solve it?
