Does anyone know of a micro data base manager that is callable from
within a formal programming language such as Pascal, C, etc (ie not one
that is integrated with the DB itself). I am thinking of the capability
that is usually provided on main frames for programmers to call a DB's
open, get, update, close, select form XXXXXXXX where YYYYYYYY, etc.
routines.
I am about to start a project using Turbo Pascal on a MS-DOS micro and
would like to have this capability as apposed to writing and maintaing
my own type DB structures/files from within the application.
