The immediate remedy is: just don't pay the bill, at least the
parts of it in question.  You have a legal right to do this, and
unless the card issuer can prove that you were responsible for
those purchases, they cannot collect on them or affect your credit
standing.  However, you MUST pay the parts of the bill which were
not disputed promptly, and notify the card issuer in writing of
your reasons for withholding payment.

As to your other problems, the business which took the illegal orders
should have a record of the address to which the mdse was sent.  They
always do this for their mailing lists.  I suggest you contact them,
explain the problem ( they've already got their money, and so have
nothing to lose ), and see if you can't get the name and address of
the person who "used" your card.  From there, you can flame in the
right direction.
