RE: Purple Cow poems

It has been pointed out to me (very politely but frequently)
that the original and final purple cow poems were not written
by Ogden Nash. They were written by one Gelett Burgess. I
plead an old and faulty memory and I am having the service
reps come in to check it out as soon as they can.

In spite of the fact that no one else commented on it,
I should poinit out that I do not know of any relationship
between Ogden Nash and Nash the Slash.

P.S. I am sure that Ogden wishes he'd written the purple cow
poems. And I am equally sure that he would have if someone
else hadn't beaten him to it.
