Optical Astronomy Observatories Tucson AZ USA Lines: 15 Everyone go out and read the books by Lewis Fry Richardson called Statistics of Deadly Quarrels (edited by Q.Wright & C.C.Lienau) and Arms and Insecurity; a Mathematical Study of the Causes and Origins of War (edited by N.Rashevsky & E.Trucco), both published by Boxwood Press, Pittsburgh. There's also a follow-up book called Deadly Quarrels, by David Wilkinson, University of California Press. Therein you will find all the numbers you want about deaths, together with who fought whom and why.
