I agree that the numbers I posted (obtained from InfoWorld) are 
based on too small a sample to draw any conclusions and lack comparative
norms.  I checked with friends here at the U of Hawaii involved
in a long term (around a decade) large scale study (thousands of families
living in Hawaii) and across many ethnicities.  While miscarriage
rates varied fairly widely across ethnicities, the average miscarriage
rate is said to be around 33% across all ethnicites.  I do not know
how many of the people in their study used VDTs on a regular basis.
Of course, these numbers come from only people living in Hawaii.
