The replacement they sent had the identical problem. The only other person I could find with a Qubie had also been through 2 modems. One didn't work at all, and the other had the same problem as the 2 I had. Where these QA problems? Have they been fixed? Who knows? Though the experience gave me a low opinion of their modem, it was a pleasure dealing with Qubie. They were prompt in replacing the modem and returning my money, no questions asked. Now using a Hayes, Jim
