While I think it is very good that you have find someone who shares your
interests, I don't really think you are being fair by saying that the
main difference is "intelligence".  From what you have said the main
difference is interests.  I consider myself quite intelligent, but given
a choice between eating with a nurse who will talk shop and a neurosurgeon
who will talk shop, I'd choose the nurse anytime!!!!  I find that talking
about people is much more interesting than talking about brains or
computers.  I am not saying that one is better than the other, just that
they are different and which one you enjoy more is a matter of taste, not
intelligence.  After what you have just said, I agree with Chuq even more
so, it seems that you were not interested in her work.
