We experimented in rubber band ball bouncing at the University of
Maryland ....

We experimented with Dorm Jello (Oops, sorry, I mean Jell-o brand
flavored gelatine dessert) at the University of California, Riverside.
We dropped a standard serving from a fourth floor landing, and it bounced
to above the second floor.

I am not mocking you, Ron, this is a true story. We did manage to confirm
our hypothesis (Dorm Jello Brand etc. etc. is inedible) but Phys.
Rev. Lett. unaccountably rejected our paper. So did Phys. Chem.,
and Institutional Foodservice Monthly. :-)
