	Perhaps the reason Starfleet did not try to stop the Enterprise
using the prefix code is because they did try.  In ST: TWoK, Kirk and
Co. use this method on the Reliant to lower its shields.  I believe it
is Spock who has some misgivings about that, stating that Khan may have
*changed* the code, continuing that Khan is very clever.  Perhaps that is
what Kirk did with the Enterprise -- he changed the code.

	If this were the case, though, I think it should have been made
clear in the movie.
