You can't really say that the Enterprise was okay.  It was moving,
due to the fact that Scotty is a technical genius.  But, they never
said how fast it came home.

As for the elevators, I noticed that, too.  That kind of grimmed me,
too, that the elevators on the Excelsior not only listenned to what
floor you wanted to go to, but said "Thank You."  I hope Douglas Adams
gets a gratuity for this obvious plagiarism from hitchhikers guide.
If the doors start talking, too, he better call his lawyers.
