Well, so far, I have received 5 answers -- all different. I've heard Day, Decision, Debarking and Dooms. But, Dean Stanton at Fortune in Redwood replied that he was first annoyed that I would ask someting so obvious. After all, he'd known since childhood that the D stands for Designated.
