Here are a few vocal and choral selections that are both 20th century and
quite enjoyable.

Mahler's Das Lied von der Erde

	Strauss' Der Rosenkavalier

	Villa-Lobos' Bachianas Brasileiris (sp?) #5

	Rachmanninov's Vocalise

Orff's Carmina Burana - with the text rotated (left
untranslated) in Latin to protect the public from a
		particularly vulgar set of lyrics.

	Britten's Ceremony of Carols

	Stravinski's Symphony of Psalms

Randall Thompson's 23rd Psalm (a marvelous, short choral work)
		and many other choral works

Vaughn-Williams' Alleluia (and other choral/vocal works)

Menotti's The Unicorn, the Gorgon, and the Manticore

	Bernstein's Chichester Psalms

Be vocal about good music!
