	While government facilities are not to be used for personal
gain, there is precedent for advertising items by individuals.  See
your local daily or weekly bulletin for examples.  There is an unofficial
section, which lists many items for sale by individuals.

	I suggest that an official position be solidified allowing
this in the same limited degree allowed in the official bulletins.
Besides being good for the community, it will forestall some officious
bureaucrat from trying to cut off the internet from the usenet, because
it violates his opinion (rather than violating a regulation).(Most of
my problems with this type occur because the jerk is trying to enforce
his or her opinion and really doesn't know the regulation that is supposedly
being enforced.)


	If we all know the ground rules, and provision is made for errors
(as distinct from violations) we shouldn't have any problems.
