I don't seem to meet very many intelligent, unattached women.

Lot's of women (and men) don't fall into the highest ten-percent,
intelligence-wise. Maybe even as many as ninety percent of the
population (excluding those individuals who are children of my parents'
friends, of course).

I sometimes meet women I suspect are intelligent.

Many seem to have been encouraged not to develop it (their
	ability).

	Some who have hide it.

Some who don't hide it choose to adopt some of the, shall I
say, less-admirable traits of their male counterparts (which my
former housemate used to term "typical-male-asshole behavior"
(until she got drunk one night and we had a serious discussion
about the terminology :-))) This seems to be particularly true
prevalent female business professionals (it certainly is
prevalent enough among the male ones :-)). Probably
there's some (structural) explanation for this behavior.

Some seem to over-compensate by coming on REAL STRONG. Sort of
	like the stereo-typical hyperactive salesman.

Personally, I'm delighted on the rare occasions when I meet bright,
alert, motivated (in whatever fashion), confident women (sorry, it IS
rare).

So that's one view. Only comment is that I discovered sometime after
getting out of school that lots of nice, attractive women who aren't
meant for me (they get boring pretty fast). I think women lamenting
the tendency of men to "marry down" are just looking at the wrong
propects. Besides, if you shut your eyes, I can look like anything
you like :-).
