Does anyone out there have any experience with these un-circular cranksets,
like the Shimano Biopace or the Houdaille Powercam? The latest issue of
"Bicycling" even has a letter from Lon Haldeman (the transcontinental
record holder) talking about the Powercam. Is such a system really worth
the nonstandardness and expense? (I see the Powercam lists at $200).
