I forgot to mention that the postnews.c I posted yesterday requires some
of the other (standard 2.10, I think) sources.  Here is a snippet from
the Makefile showing what's needed:

POBJECTS = postnews.o rextern.o rpathinit.o uname.o
postnews: Makefile $(POBJECTS)
	$(CC) $(CFLAGS) $(LFLAGS) $(POBJECTS) -o postnews

Note to Jon Kaplowitz:  I can't reply to your mail because it has some
of the most bizarre headers I've seen recently, and I have no idea what
your electronic address is.  I assume you mean "defs.h".  You'll find that
file and the needed routines in the 2.10.1 netnews distribution.
