Lines: 30 I thought you all might like an authentic recipe from my friends' mother who comes from Maui: Chicken, Steak, etc., Teryaki Chicken, Steak, etc., to feed 4 - 6 3/4 bottle of "BLACK SOY" (must be black soy from Oriental Shop) Sliced, "not paper thin" fresh ginger, equal to l bulb garlic l to l l/1 cups white white or water l to 2 bulbs fresh garlic , cut in half Ground peper to taste 3/4 cup white vinegar 5 - 6 Tablespoons of sugar Mix all together. Make sure sugar is mixed well. Let meat soak at least 24 hours in mixture, turning frequently is NOT OF the ESSENCE. BEST ENJOYED on grill, place a little container of water to help steam the meat. HOPE YOU LIKE IT, MY FRIENDS ADORE IT. DONNA @ BELLCORE WHIPPANY, N.J.
