In the off chance that the ST-IV writers (ST:Who's Next? -- I love it!) sense this problem, Spock can easily be regressed as far back as desired: Since core-dumping (reverse mind meld) is a Vulcan ability, and his mind was restored via a Vulcan priestess in a VUlcan ceremony, maybe Spock's Vulcan half got a better restoration than his human side. Thus, no matter how well he remembers, no more gushy "friendship" statements out of Spock's mouth for a while, tho it's clear to us he feels them. Of course, since SPock dumped to a human (ironically, the last human he'd have normally chosen!), the exactly reverse argument could be made, and Spock could be more human now than ever. Or, SPock could be just about anything! I hate to think of his character being arbitrarily diddled with. Come on, SPock IS 75% of ST. mike k
