Jade Warrior is a relatively unknown British rock group of the early seventies. To my knowledge, they had six records released in the United States. I own five of them. I have heard mention of another Vertigo disk simply called Jade Warrior. I have no idea if it truly exists, but, I would love to find a copy. Anyway, the records that I have are as follows: Released -- 1971 -- Vertigo Records Last' Autumn's Dream -- 1972 -- Vertigo Floating World -- 1974 -- Island Records Waves -- 1975 -- Island Kites -- 1976 -- Island A friend of mine told me that Jade Warrior sounds like what would happen if King Crimson played music written for Jethro Tull. If you have Kites, you have the most advanced of their albums. My personal favorite is Floating World. In any case, their Island pressings are much more interesting than the Vertigo ones. The band changed some members for the better and adopted a more flowing style. Thu 14-Jun-1984 14:31 MK-time / Roger Matus, MKO1-2/E02, DTN: 264-3064
