On the other other hand (:-)), when DEC sells you "VMS", it includes DCL, MCR,
EDT, the standard compilers, etc.

The "standard compilers" for VMS include the assembler. If you want FORTRAN,
C, BASIC, PASCAL, or BLISS, you gotta shell out more money to DEC.
