Mainly because of the excellent prose prevalent in all the games they offer. Secondly, the games are very challenging and addicting. I have played (and completed) Suspended in one *10* hour sitting. Finally, they don't use insulting graphics. As Infocom has said in their ads the human imagination has better graphics than any computer, and this is what it's all about. Hutch
