For those interested in the recent discussion here about CD square wave
response, I recommend two articles in the July '84 issue of "Audio".
One discusses Telarc Records and their microphone philosophy (which I thoroughly
agree with) and the other talks about filtering in CD players.
Thanx for all the comments (and agreement) about the audio magazines.
What I'm probably going to do is continue subscribing to "Audio" which I feel'
is the best magazine for the technical side of hi-fi and add subscriptions to
one of the "underground" pubs (Sensible Sound??) and a magazine that specializes
in classical record reviews (Ovation, perhaps).
