The Aldermen of Foxboro just voted to not allow the Jacksons
to play the stadium in Foxboro, MA (this is where the NE Patriots
play football). The reasons they cited were that the Jacksons
are too popular and the crowd-control problems would be
insurmountable. They also said that businesses would be
adversely affected and that the Jacksons would "attract
the wrong element." (Like those nasty Beach Boys, right?)
Well, I was really pleased to hear this. Of course, lots
of people whose lives have been shattered by this decision
are appealing, but it looks grim (for them, hehe). Sorry,
I just can't contain my joy... I'm afraid I'm being malicious
towards the poor people who want to see them.
