I must say that I find the increasing amounts of intolerance represented by some
individuals on both "sides" (hetrosexuality a perversion, homosexuality
evil, etc) to be both distressing and calculated to incite the maximum
discomfort and stress for everyone, regardless of their sexual preference.

I would really appreciate an admission by both "sides" that the
individuals on the other "side" are human, even though they may
disagree on what are perceived as important matters. Dehumanizing
the enemy is a long standing way to justify the persecution
of other humans without suffering pangs of concience.

I would like to thank those individuals who have already demonstrated
or requested tolerance on the part of the participants in this newsgroup.

I would ask those who have in the past posted divisive and/or offensive
comments to reconsider their behavior, and consider the effects of
their rhetoric on other individuals of all persuasions.
