Forgot to mention how I managed to quit smoking. First, I was
mentally preparing myself for some time by thinking about quiting.
Then one february I caught the flu. I felt bad enough, what with sore
throat, weakness, etc. that the urge for a smoke was greatly diminished.
So I didn't and that was the end!

By the way, even though I smoked 2+ packs of regular Camels (mmm
they were good!) I never once had any withdrawal symtoms! Occasion-
ally I reached for a cigarette automatically.
