O.K. here's my 2 cents worth.

I am going to make no statement on the content of Tim's postings.

1. As a student UNC apperently TOLERATED Tim's postings.

2. As an employee of UNC they decided the should have more leverage on
   him as was implied in the initial job offering.

I believe that Tim thought that he still had the freedoms of being a student
without the responsibilities of being an employee.

I also believe that UNC was remiss in not pointing out the differences that
they expected of Tim's behaviour as an employee.


I hope that both sides have learned something from this experience,
otherwise they will probably be similarly burned in the future.



 LETS DROP IT FOR A WHILE . AT LEAST UNTIL THE JURY IS BACK (THE SURVEY).
