Perhaps they will simply quote from Doug Sax's earlier interview in Audio magazine (Jan 84) that created such debate on this net a few months ago. Will their advertising include, "...they lose low-level information in great quantities. The hall ambience, what's left of the hall, is noticeably drier." "...certain music ... comes out really harsh." "I don't have a good time with digital. What I want to hear is somehow obscured." I doubt if they will use many of Sax's remarks in their advertising. I for one am very happy that Sheffield has apparently reconsidered how CD's soundbefore they lost their opportunity to profit from them. I look forword to Sax's next Audio interview with great interest. Greg Rogers Tektronix
