It seemed to do everything the news software does better, only better. He was looking for people to beta-test it on small/unusual machines. He intends to post it soon, too! Seems like the works been done.... I may be missing something... is there some more software in between inews and readnews which is really the trouble (i.e. does inews arrange to call the sites who deliver news to me, and to whom I deliver news, or is there a program I don't know about)? The man pages show a 'recnews' and 'sendnews'. Are those the real culprits? Anyway, I think that this discussion is good, and will eventually even produce some good results.
