While I was working as a field engineer for Burroughs Corp. I was sent to a class in Los Angeles and found out upon my return that one of my instructors had called my boss in San Francisco to complain about my earing. And I even wear it in the left ear! To a great extent, I feel that in the current and continuing fight for human rights for gay people, it is important for all of us to come out as much as is necessary to get the point across that we are everywhere, we are not going to go away, and we are as "normal" (oh I hate that word applied to human beings) as everybody else. Of course, if the fight for "gay rights" is lost, it will make things that much easier for the "authorities" to round us up and put us in the ovens... But, I can really only find positive hopes for the future... the alternatives are to awful to consider. Richard Brower Fortune Systems {ihnp4,ucbvax!amd70,hpda,sri-unix,harpo}!fortune!brower
