I am interested in all forms of electronic/sythesized/computer music and would like to know what other musicians or would-be musicians are doing. I have a SYNERGY with RS232 interface but have not yet connected it to a computer because : a) I don't own a computer. b) The SYNERGY is too big and heavy to haul around to someone else's computer. DK (the company that makes SYNERGY) is supposed to release a complete package of voicing and utility s/w to run on a KAYPRO computer but, as I understand it, a several hundred dollar upgrade to the SYNERGY is required before this s/w can be used - in addition to the cost of the KAYPRO. If anyone knows about this software or has any thoughts about other (less expensive) uses for the RS232 interface on the SYNERGY I'd like to hear about it. All replies are welcome.
