I don't know if this has been discussed before, but has anyone noticed
that mail sent between certain UUCP sites (I think the ones that run the
4.12/4.7 version) do not leave the original Date: filed of the sender but
replace it with the Date: field of the relaying site?

using arpanet mail because (sigh) our news link is converting to 4.2 ...
