The reasons they cited were that the Jacksons are too popular and the crowd-control problems would be insurmountable. They also said that businesses would be adversely affected and that the Jacksons would "attract the wrong element." (Like those nasty Beach Boys, right?) Well, I was really pleased to hear this. Of course, lots of people whose lives have been shattered by this decision are appealing, but it looks grim (for them, hehe). Sorry, I just can't contain my joy...
