Is Beck touring with Stewart? Apparently, yes and yes. And to think I used to have some respect for Jeff Beck. I know Stewart "sang" in the original Jeff Beck group, but seriously... With regard to the ARMS concerts that everyone was discussing a few weeks ago (that aired on MTV, with Clapton, Beck, Page, Winwood, Watts, Wyman, Kenney Jones, Chris Stainton, et al). Clapton had stated that if Rod Stewart made a special "guest star" appearance at any ARMS concert, he (and apparently several others) would have promptly walked off the stage. Seems that they felt it would be more than just ironic for Stewart to cash in on the concerts for his own publicity, especially after his treatment of Ronnie Lane (for whom the concerts had been organized) at the time of the Faces breakup. (WARNING! Opinion follows: What does Rod Stewart have to do with music? He's an entertainer; no more, no less.) -- This unit humbly and deeply apologizes for having and expressing opinions. This will not occur again. (BEEP) Rich Rosen pyuxn!rlr
