There were takeoffs on the "Shower Scene" from "Psycho" in "Phantom of the
Paradise," in which the Phantom socked the lead singer Beef in the mouth with a
toilet plunger, and in "Fade To Black," in which the movie-obsessed main
character just cut and ran when the lady in the shower screamed. I haven't
seen "High Anxiety," but I am assured there was a Shower Scene there too. Any
more?

By the way, did you know that the blood in the Shower Scene in Psycho was
actually chocolate syrup? Did you know that Hitchcock got Janet Leigh to
scream like that by turning on the COLD water in the shower?

More to the point, did you care?

P.S. Did anybody else like "Fade To Black"?
