Now that Sheffield Lab's has announced that they will soon release a line
of CD recordings I wonder what the advertising for these will say.  Perhaps
they will simply quote from Doug Sax's earlier interview in Audio magazine
(Jan 84) that created such debate on this net a few months ago.

Will their advertising include,

	"...they lose low-level information in great quantities.  The hall
	 ambience, what's left of the hall, is noticeably drier."

	"...certain music ... comes out really harsh."

	"I don't have a good time with digital.  What I want to hear is
	 somehow obscured."

I doubt if they will use many of Sax's remarks in their advertising.
I for one am very happy that Sheffield has apparently reconsidered how CD's
soundbefore they lost their opportunity to profit from them.  I look forword
to Sax's next Audio interview with great interest.
