I think you misunderstand.  There is a difference between the UNIX
kernel and the UNIX Timesharing System.  When you use the word UNIX
alone to refer the system it would seem to me to  imply the UNIX
Timesharing System, because nobody will disagree that just the kernel
will do you any good whatsoever.  When I by VM/SP I imply that I get
CMS with it, when I buy RSX I hope that MCR and PIP come with it.
