It would be quite a waste platooning the two at third, and with Hubbard already at second, the Braves can't simply move Oberkfell back to his old position. Maybe, with Chambliss and Watson both aging, they'll try Horner at first next year. Or perhaps they're already thinking of trading away an infielder (for a top quality pitcher?)
