I just got some Scotch 700 tapes (small rims) and the tapes look
like inside out--the outside surface is dull while the inside is
shiny.  Most tapes i have seen before are the opposite.  Do the
Scotch people make them that way for some good reasons?  Like having the
shiny side to rub against the tape head instead of the dull side
where the magnetic materials are?
