I'm not actually going to review IJ&TOD - one of the first reviews
I saw on the net said almost exactly what I would have said (lots of
fun, worth the $$, but inferior to "Raiders"). But I do want to respond
to one point repeatedly raised in the negative reviews - violence. Some
of the comments I've seen make IJ&TOD sound like a Grand Guignol, and
that's too extreme. Yes, there is violence in IJ&TOD, some of it very
graphic. There was also very graphic violence in "Raiders", though, and
IJ&TOD was really not much different in this regard. Yet many commentators
have given the impression that it's far worse.
I can't tell you whether IJ&TOD will be too bloody for your
tastes; but I do say it's not as extreme as some have made it sound.
