The Z80 family Serial Communications Chip or SCC or Z8530 or Intel 82530,
has 2 baud rate generators and two independent channels on chip. They
are easy to set up and don't need "phase 2". As far as I know there is
not a phase 2 on Z80's except on maybe old S100 systems.
