I am a non-smoker - just to set the record straight. Several years ago
I heard of a study done in New York City on people who had quit both cigarettes
and heroin. These individuals came mostly from the prison system, I believe,
but could have been just out of heroin de-tox centers. Anyway, when asked by
the researchers which was harder to kick, the UNIVERSAL reply was cigarettes!

Now, this is all in the back of my consciousness, and I don't have any
references. If anyone knows about this, or has just heard of it, or best of
all can cite references, let us know.
