An alright film, but nowhere near as good as the story it was freely adapted from: "Farewell to the Master", by Harry Bates. Boy, did I like this one! It appeared in Astounding, lo these many years ago (1941?), and the author was, I beleive, ASF's first editor (circa 1930). The ending was >much< more effective than that in the movie.
