It's true that some people are gay by nature (and there is nothing wrong
with that) but there ARE also those who are gay by choice (the reason being
disappointment with the other sex or something else). I feel that if a
person is gay by choice, they will probably never find total fulfillment
in being gay because they are ignoring a natural need in themselves, i.e.,
the need for an SO of the other sex. This is a need one is born with
(excluding those who are gay by nature) and it won't just disappear.

Perhaps it is the unhappiness of some members of the "gay by choice"
group plus the overall pressures of being gay which create the impression
(in some) that all gays are unhappy and unfulfilled.

The truth is usually not at one of the extreme ends of the scale but
somewhere in between.

P.S. I also like to see people carry discussions to the end, but what seems
to happen often is that they stop defending their point of view
without acknowledging that they have been convinced. That is NOT very
polite behaviour. Well, may be they are taking the time to think of
     better reasons?!
