Robison's response, I felt called upon to reply as well. First, my wife and I went through a "natural childbirth" experience. We have a 20-month old son, and another due in August that we expect to have another n-c experience with. While Tony maybe be correct about some things factual, he apparently missed the whole point of D.Barry's statement. Something called humor. Dave's statement was hilarious, and so much the more to those of us who have been through it. I mean, let's face it. No one is ever prepared for the vomit, the mess, the sliminess of the newborn (as neat a sight as it is, it is still undeniably messy!), the grossness of the placenta, and the associated messes involved. Certainly it is worthwhile, but it is a messy, smelly experience. My wife and I loved Dave's statement, and will be sharing it with our LaMaze instructor and class. -- ________ ( ) Don Stanwyck @( o o )@ 312-979-3062 ( || ) Cornet-367-3062 ( \__/ ) ihnp4!ihuxr!stanwyck (______) Bell Labs @ Naperville, IL
