In-Reply-To: Your message of 2 June 1984 10:28 GMT I would be game for trying to convert my Mac to 512K but: 1) Some skill would be required by owners because the memory chips are soldered in (no chip sockets), and de-soldering 16 chips without distroying the circuit board is non-trivial. 2) It voids our warranty... 3) Would not we need a modified Finder and/or Toolbox ROM to make effective use of the extra memory? Now of course if Apple would make available an official upgrade kit to qualified user groups...
