Why shouldn't the audience be deaf? -- or at least mute, when such
an unresolvable topic as this comes up on the net. So much talk and
yelling hasn't gotten anyone anywhere. Jeff says that gays are
perverted and sick, gays (and others who feel they have a quest
against -- what? -- "intolerance") respond that Jeff is a hung-up
and closed-minded religious fanatic. So what has happened? Jeff
hasn't argued anyone onto his side, and nobody else has argued
Jeff over to the other side. It's a stalemate, Ellen -- and
you expect everyone else on the net to throw his two cents in?
Why bother? The discussion (and I use the term somewhat loosely)
just doesn't seem to be getting anywhere.
