Lines: 14 Today I heard on the radio that ST III broke the record for 3-day movie attendance for a non-holiday weekend. I tried to look this up in the paper, but I could find no mention of this. Can anyone out there either confirm or deny this? (Maybe someone in CA wants to make a call to Paramount?) While I don't deny that some theaters may have had non-sellout shows, around this area things were pretty busy. Also, ST III opened at 1600+ theaters nationwide; more than any other movie in history. This may help explain things. If this is true, then it's something I've been expecting. Here's to ST IV, b**2
