We have a VALID workstation running some bastardized version of UNIX on
which we want to do file transfers to/from our VAX/11-780 running 4.1BSD UNIX.
After trying to get "uucp" running, we were finally informed by [in]VALID that
their "uucp" simply didn't work. VALID did provide a pascal source *template*
"com232.pas" which would run on the VAX and talk to the VALID using its own "cu"
program. My question is: Has anyone already written this "com232" code, or has
anyone gotten a VALID system and a VAX to do file transfers using any method at all? Any information would be greatly appreciated.
