Co., Everett, WA Lines: 19 The article on YUPies never hinted at women on the net or women in the computer biz, the girls (notice intentional use) who *make* the BMOC are not, in general, those that pursue technical careers but rather are in college to pursue men. I would think most men on the net would get a liitle pleasure out of this supposed turn of events (even if you think the idea of BMOC is bad). It even seems possible that our better half (I just love colloquialisms) could snicker with delight at the male hacker's rise of status in a world he rarely competes in. But maybe I'm wrong.
