If bucks permit, look into the Walkman Pro WDM-6 (dolbyB) and
WDM-6C (dolby B and C). These run around $240 to $270 mailorder
but are really professional units. They record as well as play back and
you can make really good recordings. I have used the -6 for over a year,
now with excellent results. Recorded a dual piano concert two weeks ago
with a radio shack electret mike on each shoulder. Sounds great (but
wait till you hear where I snore!!). I would buy the -6C now for only
a few bucks more. hound!rfg
