That way, you could see the submissions BEFORE the followups, since the software doesn't allow you any personal control over the order of presentation (reference earlier discussion on that topic). Anybody know why, when USENET was created in the computer center over in the northwest corner of the Garden of Eden, "net.followup" was not named "net.general.followup" so it would come AFTER net.general on all machines automatically? Must have been that snake coiled up by the console... Will
