Every now and then, a new joke will pop up, and within a few days
there are twenty other versions of it on the net. Is this because
they all got the joke from the same place (a movie or tv, say) or
someone saw it on the net and told it to someone else who though
"great joke, i gotta post it" or maybe the phenomenon whereby
ten people simultaneously invent the telephone because all the
pieces are ready to be put together or what? More important,
how can this be avoided?
