	I would think that the reason for having a national holiday for
Christmas is more economics than anything else.  Of those who are (or claim
to be) of believers in Christmas, who would go to work on 12/25?  Being
it is their holiest day of the year, I wouldn't expect it - Just like it 
should not be expected of me go work on Rosh Hashanna and Yom Kippur!

	In that light, there is really no other choice than to make it
a "national" holiday.
