In used cars, waxing and vacuuming is about all the preparation
needed.  In new cars, however, there are things like license plate
brackets to mount, wheel trim rings or hubcaps to mount, protective
plastic to remove, headlights to aim, and other minor things that
the factory doesn't do.

And the most important thing, making sure the car has just enough
gas to get it home! :-)
