Why must there be a Gov't ruling or law at all?? I'll agree that maybe state and federal monies need not be supplied for abortions, but if my family decides not to have a child at this particular time, isn't this OUR business?? If all women are required to carry to full term and give birth, will the pro-lifers help out in anyway? Who will see that a child is loved and cared for? Not the people who want abortion banned. They will sit back and pat themselves on the back for saving a life and not think that life is more than a biological function. I am curious to the responses to a few scenarios that readily come to mind, feel free to write me and give me your opinion, or just flame on: 1 - A woman is pregnant, she doesn't want a child. 2 - A typical family, two kids, Dad out of work. A big OOOPs, and another is on the way. 3 - A married couple going to school, of course there are big plans for both careers, again, unplanned pregnancy. 4 - Here is an emotional one, your 14 year old daughter is pregnant. She does or doesn't want the child, the father is or isn't around. A few guidelines for those responding, I may not be of your religious faith, so that particular argument is not real strong with me, but it still is a viable stance for YOUR position. I'll try and answer all submissions either thru mail or on the net, if my present beliefs are swayed by a particular argument, I'll certainly post it. tektronix!tekig!david alias David Hayes
