The version of dviimp which we got from Imagen in May '83 had a -L
option to print in landscape mode (we subsequently changed it to -l for
various reasons). It seems to work fine, even including drawings done
with the graphics capabilities of 1.7 and later versions of ImPress.

I don't know if it relies on features of ImPress which are new, or if it
would work with any Imprint-10. A quick glance at the code indicated that
it rotates the glyphs when they're downloaded into the Imprint-10 (we
certainly don't have special versions of the fonts, though Dan is right
that Berkeley distributes theirs in that form).

Dviimp is one of the post processors used in translating standard troff's
output to Impress (not device independent troff's -- use Lou Salkind's
version of dcan for that). This version also supports TeX82 (that is,
both DVI version 1 and version 2 files).
