It is a violation, for one explicit instance, for a choir to buy one copy of a piece of music and photocopy it for the rest of the choir members. It is a violation, for which people were fined and jailed in the last year, to copy a piece of liturature for distribution to a college class with out the permission of the copywrite owner. One of the most common violations is the copying of a friend's album onto tape for your personal use. The theory is that this deprives the copywrite owner of a sale that may have occurred if you had not copied it. -- ________ ( ) Don Stanwyck @( o o )@ 312-979-3062 ( || ) Cornet-367-3062 ( \__/ ) ihnp4!ihuxr!stanwyck (______) Bell Labs @ Naperville, IL
