                        Unichrome
                     by Dave Keldsen
Sung to the tune of Kodakchrome*, by Paul Simon

When I think back
On all the crap I learned in COBOL
It's a wonder
I can code at all
And yet my lack of structure really
hasn't hurt me none
I can do it with breaks and kernel calls.

Chorus:
Unichrome
It give us the nice big inode
Write out those nice big files
Fill up the disk and that's o.k. (oh yeah)
I got a C compiler
I love to run 'a.out'
So mama don't take my Unichrome away.

If you take all the code I wrote
When I wrote in Pascal
And brought it all over
To Unichrome
I know it'd never run
Never even compile
Everything looks worse
With BEGIN and END.

(Chorus)

2. Unichrome looks suspiciously like a trademark, but isn't, 'cuz I
    just made it up.
3. I never learned COBOL, and don't want to!!
4. Hey, it's just a joke, not a philosophical treatise.
