Message-ID: <1968@ihnss.UUCP> Date: Thu, 22-Mar-84 13:51:40 EST Article-I.D.: ihnss.1968 Posted: Thu Mar 22 13:51:40 1984 Date-Received: Fri, 23-Mar-84 20:46:43 EST Organization: AT&T Bell Labs, Naperville, IL Lines: 9 In the Vectrex tech description posted last week by the good guys at CMU, it was stated that the D-A could be directed to 4 destinations, including Y and Z (brite) axes. But no X-axis! How does this work? Does the X integrator always ramp up at a constant rate? That would work for many vectors, but a vertical line would require near-infinite slew rate in the Y integrator, and/or horizontal lines would be drawn very slowly. If anyone at CMU sees this, please explain this paradox-- thanks, mike k.
