$300.00? No way, Jose... The lowest I have ever seen a BX-2 is $379 through
audio unlimited in San Jose, CA (408-279-0122) a while back.  Nakamichis are
rather carefully controlled by Mama Nak and it's hard to find a bargain better
than 15-20% off list.  However, you may be able to get a reasonable deal
RIGHT NOW in the stores since the BX-1 and -2 have been replaced by the
BX-100 and BX-150 (the same innards, but adding an automatic master fader
control{nice feature, but not totally necessary} and new {cleaner} cosmetics)
and I'm sure some dealers would like to clean out their old stock.
But $300? At a minimum, $50 more.
