Anyone out there know if there are reasonably priced
auto exhaust gas analyzers available? Two of my cars
have Bosch L-jetronic EFI and are not working
all that well after 75K miles. I failed inspection
because of high CO, so I had to make the mixture
a bit leaner, and now I'm not sure where I am
with respect to hydrocarbon emissions etc. According
to both service manuals, the only way to adjust
the mixture, as well as to check the catalytic
converters, is to use an analyzer. Any help
will be mucho appreciated.
