Mail failed to your location, so I am posting my response:

Here is the way it was done on the Atari 5200 (adapted from a
technique I got off the net for Atari 400 and 800).

Start a game and get yourself to a place that will be safe for several
seconds (i.e., the right side of the first ramp - I'm assuming your
screens are similar to the 5200). Then punch in the 10 digit
telephone number for BIG 5 (the manufacturer - it should be in the
manual, and on the title screen). Now, you hold the upper fire button
(I hope you have an analogue for this on your machine - it was the
shift key on the Atari 400/800), and keeping it depressed (like a
shift key) enter the number of the desired level on the keypad.

You can now jump to any screen you desire (0 = 10) at any time, and
can do so until you remove the cart. or turn off the machine. Try
doing this just after losing your last life, but before the game ends.

Let me know if it works!
