God is well aware of the hard hearts of man, and is quite aware
that any miracles performed will not keep the love of man. God
has supplied man with all he needs for salvation. It's just that
man listens better to things of this world, and it's not in these
things where man will find salvation. Due to the first sin of
mankind, we are unable to perceive and know God. We suffer from
the defects of a basically rebellious nature.

Indeed. So why were we created so as to have a basically rebellious
nature? God could have saved everybody a whole lot of trouble,
including Himself.
