Oh please.  Don't try to tell me that an organization's "non-profit" legal 
status keeps it from doing most of the same things with income that we're
annoyed about:  tremendous salaries and/or perks for the appropriate people,
purchases of properties and corporations which ARE for profit, and so on.

The Mormon and Catholic churches both own huge business enterprises, which
have been getting away untaxed for far too long, on the suspect grounds that
church-and-state separation should give them freedom from taxation.
