After a coast period and second burn of the Delta launcher's second stage, the Landsat-D' separation took place. Separation of UoSAT-Oscar-11 took place several minutes later while the launcher and satellite were in view of the command station at the University of Surrey, England. First telemetry signals were heard by G3IOR on 145.825 mhz several minutes after separation when the command station turned the beacon on. Phil Karn, KA9Q
