I heard this on Paul Harvey's radio program long ago (years?) but something
just reminded me of it, so I have to share it (from memory) with netland:

One winter day, there were two fisherman out on a lake, ice-fishing. During
the ordeal (it's very cold on a frozen lake in winter) one of the fishermen
(Bob) noticed that the other fisherman (Fred) seemed to be pulling in another
fish every few minutes. This was rather curious since Bob was doing very
poorly himself, in what was supposed to be a better location.

Bob figured that maybe Fred had a secret that he would be willing to share.
So Bob got up, shivered his way over to Fred and asked him why he was
catching so many fish.

But all Fred replied was 'mppfmhppmmhmffhph".

So Bob said, "I didn't understand you. Why are you catching so many fish?".

Again, Fred replied 'mhpmmmhhhpmmhphphmfff".

Bob predictably said, "I still can't understand you."

So, Fred took the obstruction from his mouth and said, "You have to keep the
worms warm."

				(heh-heh, sorry ... actually, I'm not.)
