    This sounds like a form of Go playing called 'mimic' go. This is where the
white player echos the play of black like a mirror on the other side of the
board. Games like this can be very interesting. Sooner or later it is necessary
for white to end the mimic plays. Sometimes though several dozen moves can be
made first.
