Also, in wine tastings it is customary not to rate wines that have obviously spoiled in the bottle. The LA times panel seems not to have such compunctions and rated the spoiled beers "standard." By the way, here in Boston you can now get Rolling Rock in the traditional long-neck refillables with a horse on the bottle for ten bucks a case. Don't miss it. John Levine, ima!johnl
