I am somewhat surprised, from the diversity of available newsgroups,
that there is no "net.psych" or suchlike for discussions of psychological
and related topics. I have seen discussions on net.ai that would fit
in this area, but the purpose there is specifically to relate the
discussion to artificial intelligence implementations of the real-life
situations. Would net.bio be appropriate? Has there been a conscious
decision NOT to have a "net.psych" or equivalent based on earlier
debate? (I have been isolated from the net for a year and have been
delighted to see all these new newsgroups!)

Anyhow, I have a little psych-related query to post; I preferred to
find an appropriate group rather than sink it into net.misc, but
I will do that if there is no existing suitable forum.
