When net.bio was proposed, the suggestion was that it was for biological
research, among other things.  However, people immediately said this was
a place for creationism, etc.  This was exactly what I for one did not
want.  I would submit that now no one knows what this group is for.  If
it is for legitimate discussion of biology and is announced as such then
I suspect some of us would use it.  If it is for rantings and ravings of
creationists and their oponents then I'll continue to ignore it.  I would
submit that given a definition which does not try to combine emotional
argument issues with scientific issues, it would be used.  As it is,
neither group uses it.
