	First of all, I don't recall making any statement about this
game in this newsgroup. I did, in fact, comment on the first Purdue-IU game.
In any event, Bryon Howes (bch@unc) is very correct when he says...

	"...one has plenty of chances to have one's words jammed
	back down one's throat when talking about college basketball."

	Yeah, well, I still pick UNC to win it all, so we'll see if I have
to eat those...

	Mark Tischler (tischler@ihuxv) - enjoy your revenge while you can;
this makes us 1-1 on the year in basketball. Now, one might expect Boiler
fans to pull for IU against Illinois this weekend, as an IU win would move
Purdue closer to a Big Ten championship...and many Purdue loyalists will
probably do so. I, on the other hand, am pulling for a Bobby Knight cardiac
arrest about 5:13 into the second half. (By the way, Blab finally played
Wednesday night...what the hell has he been doing the rest of the year?)

	Andy Kessler (ajk@solar) -- your acid remarks, which managed to
insult nearly every team and coach in the top dozen or so, seem more intended
to enrage fans of those teams than to provide insight into *why* these teams
are ranked where they are -- or why they shouldn't be.
