Did you know that eggs are dated *4 weeks* after they're packed? Know what a "Special Today" sticker on a package of ground beef means? They take the old, graying meat, turn it over to expose a redder side, rewrap it, and slap on the sticker. Without dropping the price. (I have to admit that I haven't caught them changing the date.
