Message-ID: <193@varian.UUCP> Date: Tue, 28-Feb-84 18:06:31 EST Article-I.D.: varian.193 Posted: Tue Feb 28 18:06:31 1984 Date-Received: Sun, 4-Mar-84 02:22:49 EST Lines: 17 Does anyone have a modem7-type program for ISIS (the operating system of Intel MDS systems)? We have MDS220's and MDS800's here, which are 8085-based machines. It seems to me that it shouldn't be too much effort to take modem7 (which is in 8080 mnemonics) and modify it to run on ISIS: change the reading and writing of the modem port, and write a subroutine called BDOS which takes the arguments as they would be passed to a CP/M BDOS and makes the appropriate ISIS call. Any pointers and advice (e.g. how to access the modem port) would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
