Come *off* of it, *Please!!* Quite frankly, I don't see what the fuss was about. The man said that he didn't say it out of meanness- if he had, there are one hell of a lot of other words that he could have used- like kike, or sheenie, for instance. Not only was the word mild (for God's sake, it's just a nickname, like calling someone a "johnny"!) but Mr. Jackson came out, admitted that he said it, and I thought he apologised rather abjectly to a *synagogue* audience. Be serious, man! Unfortunately, many Jewish people seem to think that if anyone wants to listen to what the Arabs have to say, or to simply communicate with the PLO that he or she is some sort of an anti-Semite. Wake up! I can disagree with the policies of Israel without being a Jew-hater, just as surely as you can disagree with me without being a racist. Anti-Semite? Foo. You are seeing the world through eyes that are even more paranoid than my own. -- _______________________________________________________________________________ From the oftimes fiery but seldom understood keyboard of the dark avenger Jobe (...!uw-beaver!ssc-vax!jobe)
