In the Vectrex tech description posted last week by the good guys at CMU,
it was stated that the D-A could be directed to 4 destinations,
including Y and Z (brite) axes. But no X-axis! How does this work?
Does the X integrator always ramp up at a constant rate? That would
work for many vectors, but a vertical line would require near-infinite
slew rate in the Y integrator, and/or horizontal lines would be drawn
very slowly.
If anyone at CMU sees this, please explain this paradox--
thanks, mike k.
