It starts in Glenwood, Ia., and finishes at Burlington. The overnight stops and mileages are: Shenandoah - 49 Creston - 77 Adel - 70 Pella - 102 Ottumwa - 66 Mt. Pleasant - 70 Burlington - 40 The fees are $15 this year for riders, and $6 for non-riders who are "tagging-along" (sorry about the pun). Send names and ages of all riders to: RAGBRAI-XII P.O. Box 10333 Des Moines, IA 50306 Write "BAGGAGE" on the envelope, if you want just baggage-tags, "VEHICLE", if you want a vehicle pass(only 500 given away), or "OPTIONAL", if you will settle for a baggage-tag after being turned-down for a vehicle-pass. Requests are due by April 30. I guess that they are going to have two sections to the camp- grounds. One for the night-owls, and one for the 'dead' riders. The route goes through fairly-hilly terrain, so lots of miles of preparation would be advised.
