Gee, it's amazing what a good inker and a reasonable schedule can do
for an artist.  Even Kirby doesn't suck too badly when someone competent
does the inking.

Really, if you want to get an idea of how hard it can be to draw a full
page of art in a half a day, just try laying out an action scene.  I
tried doing a comics-format layout of my intensely tweaked D&D stuff,
about three years ago, and discovered that it isn't simple even to do a
layout, much less drawing the same face from one scene to the next.
