That fix from Mike Karels (via Jeff Mogul ) corrects
all kinds of problems relating to files & inodes (inode table
overflows, unmountable filesystems, unkillable processes blocked
waiting for locked inodes).

If you have a 4.2bsd system, you should consider that a MANDATORY fix.

Its been installed here for several months, & hasn't caused
any problems, but has certainly cured all of our symptoms.
