I recently found a version of Gosling's EMACS (1981) on a tape lying around the comp center here. I ran the 'make' and it fires up ok. The problem is that the 'compile-it' function (^X^E) has a problem with the fact that "process-status not defined yet". I've grepped through both the maclib and src directories and have come up empty-handed. Can anyone out there supply me with a copy of "process-status.ml"? Any thoughts on the matter would be greatly appreciated. HELLLLP! I really like the in-editor compile feature. Larry Molter Exxon Office Systems Princeton, NJ
