If you posit that you have the right to kill a human being, please go one step further. If you can decide when it is OK to kill a human being, why can I not decide that it is OK to kill you? Moreover, what effort do you expect society to make to protect you from my attempt to kill you? Do you feel that you have the right to call on the police to protect you? If so, why?
