As part of all of the wonderful things going on at home, I was recently
given custody of a couple of albums by a group that we had located when we
were living in LA. The group is 'Kitty Hawk' and they play some very good
fusion jazz. One of the featured instruments is called a 'Chapman Stick'
and while I once knew what in the h*ll it was, I have forgotten (the music,
however, is QUITE good). I know of two albums by the group: 'Kitty Hawk'
and 'Race for the Oasis'. Now, some questions:

o	Can someone clue me into what a 'Chapman Stick' is? I believe it is
some form of electronic woodwind, but I'm simply not sure anymore.

o	Does anyone out there know of other Kitty Hawk albums I should
	track down.

o Anyone out there familiar with Kitty Hawk (or jazz in general) that
want to make suggestions about other artists/works I should track
down (my collection is now heavily oriented towards music that is
used to wake neighbors at 3AM, and I'd like to diversify a bit)

	thanks!
