In 1979,	my Sears Die Hard battery, which was supposed to
last for 5 years, died	at 2.5 years in	my 8 cylinder Jeep.
The pro rated warrantee was only	good towards the purchase
of another Sears	battery. Although I'm usually a Sears fan,
I will no longer	buy Die	Hards.

The JC Penny battery (a	Die Hard competitor), boasted a
lifetime	warrantee. I wish I had bought	one.

Has anyone else had a bad experience with the Sears Die Hard
       battery?
