Message-ID: <187@opus.UUCP> Date: Sun, 4-Mar-84 19:34:28 EST Article-I.D.: opus.187 Posted: Sun Mar 4 19:34:28 1984 Date-Received: Tue, 6-Mar-84 02:25:28 EST Organization: NBI, Boulder Lines: 10 Most wine racks seem to be designed so that they hold the bottle with the neck toward you and the bottle tilted slightly downward. Why? At the very least, this makes it a real challenge to look over the labels on a bunch of bottles. That is, why not hold the bottle with the neck away from you and the bottle tilted slightly upward? (Most bottles can be tilted up at least 30 deg. and the wine still stays in contact with the cork, but 10 deg. would help enough.) Am I missing something obvious? -- {hao, ucbvax, allegra}!nbires!rcd
