Lines: 10 Does anyone know what happens if you change root's home directory to something other than "/"? I've been told that you shouldn't do this, but no one I've talked to knows what impact this would have on the system. The person I'm asking for would like to know why it shouldn't be done, not just that it can't, so I'd appreciate hearing of any specific reasons not to change it. Thanks in advance, Karen Shannon {ucbvax, decvax}!sun!kas
