Lines: 28 O.K. folks, it is time to find out the REAL loaction of Hill Street BLues. All this talk on the net has brought us out of the woodwork. Are you ready? Hill Street Blues is located in Socorro, New Mexico. Yes, Socorro, New Mexico (pop. about 10,000). We all felt that it was time to reveal ourselves to the world. I know you're all disappointed that it wasn't located in your home town, but you can't have them all! Socorro, located in the middle of New Mexico (and the middle of nowhere) is the perfect spot for HSB to do their filming. There is no crowds, it is quiet, and is conviently located only 1500 miles from Hollywood, 1000 to a nearby shore, and only 50 miles from any form of civilzation. The snow in the beginning of the show was brought down from the near by ski slopes, and the cars with the liscense plates missing were part of a deal by the U.S. and Mexico. We buy Mexican oil, and the Mexicans give us back all the cars they stole. A good deal. Hope that solves everyones queries! Signed, Ronald "Not quite all here" Rosul@nmtvax New Mexico Tech, in sunny Socorro, New Mexico. p.s.-is there any groups on here for soap watchers?
