I am the proud owner of an '81 Buick Skylark with a 2.5 L Phoenix
engine. Problems I have encountered: while trailering, I find any
manuevering will cause my power steering belt to stretch. Any tight
manueveing causes a shaking sound in steering. I had to replace
all gaskets for trans at 50k mi.. Be careful about motor mounts. See
MOOG replacement parts. If a transaxle seal breaks, big bucks for
new parts. Also the layout of parts that require normal maintenance
is an insult to the integrity of the American Engineering Mind. Then
