I am running a medical accounting system, first brought up in 1979. The
current configuration is an Alpha Micro Systems AM-100 with one of these
beasties attached. The doctor, currently a sole practicioner, is acquiring
a partner in June, and this will approximately double his volume. This will
mean that we will now require at least 15 MB of storage. The logical
solution is to get another Hawk drive (the controller on the machine
can handle up to 4) to get 20 MB. If anyobdy out there in net-land is
upgrading and happens to have one of these which they will no longer need,
or knows of someone who is, we would be interested in taking it off your
hands (CDC doesn't make them any more). Also, if anybody knows of something
else which could be easily hung off this system, that would be of interest.
