Both languages are fast and have excellent user interfaces, assuming what I saw was representative of the final product. A few rather crude benchmarks indicated that MacBasic runs 3-5 times faster than the interpreted BASIC on the IBM-PC. MacPascal seems to be interpreted, (or perhaps incrementally compiled?) but runs quite fast also. I think both languages are worth waiting for. Doug Hall ittvax!ittral!hall
