In the first article when I mentioned quaternions, someone sent me
mail (that unfortunately got trashed before I had to respond to it)_
asking how i^2 = -1, j^2 = -1, and k^2 = -1 but i != j != k.  It
does in exactly the same way that 1^2 = 1 and -1^2 = 1 but 1 != -1.

I apologize for this, but I wanted to respond.
