We live in San Jose, Ca. and drive frequently to southern Idaho
to visit my wife's relatives. This means driving across northern
Nevada on Highway 80 (California border to Wells). The drive
usually means at least two meals on the road. So far I've found
this stretch to be pretty much the gastronomic armpit of the U.S.

Does anyone have suggestions for where on this route there might
be some real food? I've heard that some of the Basque restaurants
are not so bad, but I've never known which ones they are. Since
this route is a must for many cross-country travelers, I'd be happy
to compile and post a summary of suggestions.

Thanks in advance for suggestions.
