To my mind, a CRT os a particular *kind* of VDU. That is, a VDU could be made from a Cathode Ray Tube, or a plasma display, or a liquid crystal, to name some real alternatives. (I am trying to imagine a display made fom an array of LEDs. :-)) -- ========== Bob Duncanson AT&T Bell Laboratories {eagle,allegra,cbosgd,ihnp4}!pyuxbb!rld
