I can only think one of several things concerning someone who thinks
that Christians have not been harassed in the last 1000 years:

1) He/she does not think that Uganda, China, Cambodia, India, Siberia, 
   Viet Nam, Poland, etc., etc., etc., really exist, or

2) she/he thinks that these places are not inhabited, or

3) he/she thinks that nobody in these places has ever chosen to follow
   "The Way", or

4) she/he thinks that Christians in these places revert to sub-human status,
   and lose all their rights to be included as human-rights statistics.

Not only do we not know history, but we haven't even been paying
attention to current events.  I know the recent bias is against global
variables, but sometimes you need a little global data.
