I hate stuff rattling around in my trunk, too. Very bad on the nerves especially in hard corners. I keep my stuff in an old backpack and lash the pack to the seat frame under the passenger seat (I sometimes reach 'round the back and put package(s) under my seat -- they rattle less than if they were in the trunk.) You can buy nylon webbing at camping / sporting good stores. Get the ones with the sexy plastic quick release buckles -- they are ideal for lashing things. Au Nguyen
