Ah, now we get to the meat of this group. No more flames about Marvel
Secret Wars or Jim Shooter.

New Teen Titans:
I still swear that this is consistently the best series that
DC produces. (I'm the number 1 TT fan on the net.) The current story line
can only get better. Will Tara double cross the Terminator?? And what is
the origin of Slade Wilson?
[Anyone wanting some info on Dick Grayson's new identity or on the]
[identity of the new member of the group, send me mail. ]
I'm also looking forward to the Baxter series comming up in May. George
Perez will be inking his own pencils. Also he will be experimenting with
some new techniques to take advantage of the better paper.

The new Robin:
I guess most of Gotham hasn't gotten a good look at Jason yet. He
is noticeably shorter. As for the hair color, he changed it so that he would
have the same color hair as Dick Grayson. I think that Vicky Vale will be
the person who will notice that Jason is too short and too young.

The "Handbook of the DC Universe":
Will not be called that. It will be more of a story than previously
thought. It will be about all the continuity of the DC universe. On sale
in 1985, it will coincide with the 50th anniversary of DC. Written by Marv
Wolfman and Len Wein and drawn by (ta-da!) George Perez, it will be at
least 12 issues and maybe more.

The Meanwhile column on 'strange events and a maxi-series':
While I don't remember reading about this, my guess is that the
strange events are on Earth-2 and will tie in with the JSA mini-series to be
release this summer. I can hardly wait. 1984 looks to be the year of
Earth-2. Roy Thomas has done more to revitalize the JSA than anyone else in
the last 20 years. (Gerry Conway and Paul Levitz included)
Don't expect DC to do a "secret wars". I don't think that they would stoop
so low.

Jason Todd as the first non mutant in 40 years?? What??
What about Kid Flash? What about the LSH (80% or so of them)?? What about
Cyborg?? Give me 15 minutes with my collection (it's at home not at school)
and I could probably give you a dozen more.

On a side note: Has anyone noticed the change in Keith Giffen's art
work lately. I used to love reading LSH, now it's getting harder to get to
Paul Levitz's good plot. Too bad.
