It has excellent footnotes, as well as explanatory pictures and diagrams. The translation is clear and easy to read, and is based upon the explanations of traditional Jewish Commentators. It is aimed at the educated person who wants a comprehensible translation, which is faithful to traditional Jewish sources. It should be at any good Jewish book store or Synagogue gift shop. I highly recommend it. It's available in both hard and soft cover. -- Arnold Robbins CSNET: arnold@gatech ARPA: arnold.gatech@CSNet-relay UUCP: ...!{akgua,allegra,rlgvax,sb1,ut-sally}!gatech!arnold Did'ja ever have one of those re-incarnations?
