The referenced article asked for information on where to change the
firmware of the H19 to stop the cursor from blinking. I dont have an
H19, but I have the same problem with my HP2621B.

The cursor on the 2621B blinks too fast. It is distracting. It is
less distracting as a blinking underline than as a blinking blot, but
they both blink too fast. Is there any way to slow it down? Perhaps
a capacitor I can replace?
I understand that there are undocumented ways of downloading programs
for the microprocessor in the HP2621. Does that extend to changing
paramaters in the firmware? If so, is there a number somewhere that
can be poked to slow down the blinking cursor?

While Im at it, do other people have the problem I have that when my
2621B is in 'LOG BTM' mode (everything that scrolls off the bottom
line gets sent to the printer) at 1200 baud, it ignores the keyboard
until the printing pauses? Have you found a fix? The 2621A didnt
have this problem.

Thanks in advance -- If enough interest is shown I will post a summary
of any answers I get.
