I think that my H/K sounds a lot better than the Nak. Caution. I use an outboard dbx 224 unit for noise reduction, whereas my roomate uses the Nak's Dolby C. It may be that it is the Dolby C that I dislike... In any case, the Nak sounds much harsher in the upper midrange, lower treble regions... I find it hard to listen to for extended periods of time.
