Primary responsibilities include in depth, post-sales customer support of National's GENIX Operating System, a derivation of Berkeley 4.1 bsd, other operating systems, and real-time executives. In the coming year, we also plan to work with 4.2 bsd and System V. We would like to talk to people who have a sincere desire to help customers who are porting UNIX/GENIX to NS16000-based target systems. We believe the person who fills this position should have a minimum of 2 years software engineering experience in UNIX, plus the ability to solve problems and communicate solutions effectively. Actual experience in porting UNIX would be ideal. A B.S. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent is desirable.
