San Diego, Computer Center Lines: 18 -- What sort of interesting work is being done out there with computers in the realm of biology? Is anybody using three dimensionsal soln's of Schrodinger's wave equation to predict polypeptide quaternary structure or anything like that? I'm working part-time as a programmer at the Salk Institute (full time undergrad at UCSD) and get to work on some fairly interesting things in the area of psychoneurobiology, but there doesn't seem to be much else (other than DNA sequence analysis) going on there in the way of computer exploitation. So, what are YOU doing? I'll summarize responses if enough come in. -- ThankSalot Doug Salot ..sdcsvax!sdccs7!ee163ahq
