"The Tao Jones Averages" (no hyphen) was written by Bennett W. Goodspeed, who would probably take exception to my calling him "a financial writer of some repute." The author is a consultant, engaged primarily in the trend-spotting business (ala Megatrends' John Naisbitt). The book is aimed at the small investor, explaining how and why he/she is capable of making better investment decisions than Wall Street's gurus. ---- Nathan Meyers {hplabs,allegra!harpo}!hp-pcd!nathanm
