There is at last an organization dedicated to helping
those affected with the Marfan Syndrome, and the
families of those affected.  The Marfan Syndrome is
a heritable disorder of the connective tissue which
affects several bodily systems.  The most dangerous
problem in the syndrome is aortic dissection and/or
rupture.

There are chapters of this organization, the 
National Marfan Foundation, in several states.
