Has anyone successfully interfaced the Compu/time UFDC-1
controller (which may be the same as QT Systems) with the
Siemens Fdd-221-5 80 track double-sided drive? I have two
such drives which work with the Versafloppy II and Jade
Double-D, but will do NOTHING on the UFDC-1. Various
things such as adjusting terminating resistor packs have
had no effect.
The only difference I have been able to find is that
the UFDC-1 uses a special data seperator chip where
others use op-amp based designs. Losing the use of
a 784K drive on my portable system is painful.
   Can anyone help?
