People who assign functionality to the BREAK key deserve all the headaches
they will get. Don't forget that the BREAK key doesn't just send another
arcane character from the ANSII character set: it generates what is in
essence a hardware hiccup (simulates the effect of a gopher chewing through
your cable) which you can only hope will be meaningfully detected and handled
by BOTH the hardware and the software at the other end of the line.
