No way, Jose... The lowest I have ever seen a BX-2 is $379 through audio unlimited in San Jose, CA (408-279-0122) a while back. Nakamichis are rather carefully controlled by Mama Nak and it's hard to find a bargain better than 15-20% off list. However, you may be able to get a reasonable deal RIGHT NOW in the stores since the BX-1 and -2 have been replaced by the BX-100 and BX-150 (the same innards, but adding an automatic master fader control{nice feature, but not totally necessary} and new {cleaner} cosmetics) and I'm sure some dealers would like to clean out their old stock. But $300? At a minimum, $50 more. the consuming wandering squash, -- Shaun Simpkins uucp: {ucbvax,decvax,chico,pur-ee,cbosg,ihnss}!teklabs!tekcad!vice!shauns CSnet: shauns@tek ARPAnet:shauns.tek@rand-relay
