When Israel was militarily active in Lebanon, there was an outpouring
of protests in all of our national magazines and newspapers.
A typical approach would be a large advt proclaiming that "I cannot keep silent
while...".  Many Jews proclaimed their opposition to Israel's actions and
expressed great concern over the fate of the Lebanese.

I have searched for these same protests now that non-Jewish Semites are
killing each other in Lebabon.  The typical approach now seems to be
"I CAN keep silent...".  I wonder why?
