It is the only bug I have found (so far). I really don't think that there are any more. [famous last words :-) ] In the file docxref.c, change line 46 from: if(argv[1][0] == '-') to if(argv[1][0] == '-' && argv[1][1] != '\0') /* argv[1] not "-" */ It has also been suggested that the programs which do the work, docxref, filter, numfilter, and fmtxref be placed in someplace like /usr/local/lib, and cxref itself (the driver) in a place where everyone will get it. The changes to the makefile are pretty simple.
