All the recipes I've ever seen for margaritas call for
about half an ounce of triple sec (orange) liqueur.
Given the sweetness of triple sec, additional sugar
is usually not necessary:

	jigger (1.5 oz.) tequila
	1/2 oz. triple sec
	juice of a lime

Moisten the rim of a saucer-shaped glass with the lime juice,
and dip the wet rim in salt. Shake (or blend) the ingredients
with crushed ice; strain into the glass if shaken.

Nobody ever sent one of these back... :-)
