I recently plunked down my $39.95 to get the ProDos users kit. This was
the only way the local computer stores offered ProDos to people not
wishing to buy a computer system or disk drive. I also had to spend
$70 for 5 ROMs to upgrade my Apple-II to a II+ since ProDos uses the
language card for itself and the Users Kit is written entirely in
Applesoft.

I was more than a little surprised to find out that the Users Kit does not
even tell you how to type in any ProDos commands. All it is is a menu-
driven program which lets you do ProDos commands without having to know
the syntax.

Well this is just great since I wanted to port some of my Applesoft programs
over to ProDos. Apparently there is a "Applesoft Programmer" guide to
ProDos, but it is not available yet.

Has anyone else had any better experience with ProDos?
