Cardco has an "unpublished" command for locking the "G" when using it
with certain wordprocessors.

I use Speedscript with an Epson RX-80 and G interface.

Before loading Speedscript type OPEN4,4,27:CMD4:PRINT#4:CLOSE4

This will lock the interface into upper-lower case mode and allow you
to use all your Printer escape sequences. If you have a line-feed problem
try OPEN4,4,28 in place of OPEN4,4,27

Also, don't use the {English-pound}{a} command when locking the
interface with the above command.

I have a KOALA Pad too. Interested in swapping pix or progs?

I ordered VIP Terminal at $49.95 for the C-64 a couple months ago. They
promised me that it would be shipping this week sometime. Seems to have
a good deal of useful features like autodial, autoanswer, autoredial,
autologin, and 80 columns. They have it on the IBM and Apple as well.

There's a VIDTEX 64 program available through Compuserve for 39.95.
Login and type GO VID-1. You get a description of the product.
