Re: Looking for a Analog story

I'm looking for a story that appeared in Analog magazine between
1977 and 1980. I don't remember the title or the author, but the
story line went something like this:

    Thanks in advance!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Liz Scheller-Lee "Back in Pooh Corner"

You're thinking of "The Saturn Game" (by author unremembered, which
is criminal because it won the Hugo). However, it is either Vernor Vinge
or Poul Anderson, and as I recall Vinge wrote "True Names", it must
be Anderson.
