I am interested in locating scholarly books on Jewish and
Christian attitudes towards women from a theological view point.
In particular, I would like some solid references on the effects
of egyptian, syrian and babylonian civilization on Jewish doctrines
as well the influence of Greco-roman civilization on Western
Christianity. A comparative study of the evolutions of Western
and Eastern Christianity vis-a-vis sex and womanhood is also
needed. Please forward your suggestions to hound!sherif.
If there are enough responses, I will summarize the results and
post them on the network
Thanks
