A question for one of you experienced down-under travelers:

I plan on going to Australia sometime late summer.
Primary destination is the Queensland coast, where I have
a good idea of what to do and see. However, I am also
thinking of bouncing over to the southwest coast (area
around Perth). Does anyone out there in netland have
any first-hand wisdom about the cheapest way to get to Perth
,what its like in winter, and any insights on things to do
and see? I know enough about the area to make it sound
interesting, but details are hard to come by.

	Thanks in advance.
