For what it's worth, I have a class II medical with 20/100 vision in my left
eye and 20/200 vision in my right. The doctor said that the critical
requirement is that it be correctable (I have 20/20 with glasses). My
medical has the limitation "Holder shall wear correcting glasses to
exercise privileges of airman's certificate." I did not have to apply for
a waiver.
