I believe  that  the  price  of  technical  journals  (JACM,  Byte,  etc.)  is
deductible.   What  about  my  expenses  incurred  for  reading  the technical
(net.lang.c, net.unix-wizards) newsgroups?  They would certainly seem to be  a
technical  journal  (or  possibly a conference or convention), and I should be
able to deduct my phone bills, modem cost, terminal cost, etc.

Has anybody done this?  Any ideas?
