Meeting a woman who has not > been raped is a rare thing. I suspect that Ray's experience is perhaps just a bit unusual. My own experience is that about half of the woman I have known well enough to talk about it have been raped or sexually attacked. And I hope that my own experience might be unusual as well. How about other netters? If Ray's and my experiences are typical, then the magnitude of this problem is bigger than I ever expected (and, frankly, even the one-out-of-fifteen rate that is the lowest figure I have found is horrifying to me). -Ed Hall decvax!randvax!edhall
