How can that be?  Isn't faith the pre-requisite for being a Christian
(as opposed to some other religions), and isn't the questioning of
faith disallowed?  Hence, how can Christians, in being Christians,
be other than irrational?

Of course, they can be rational in the conduct of their everyday
affairs, but then they are not acting specifically as Christians
(and lots of them don't act as Christians at all in everyday
relationships!).

For flames, I have a nice steak handy to be burned at.
