I need to know how the c64's BASIC interpreter works. I'm trying to

put together a program that adds a few new commands. Most of them will have to

do with hires graphics. I don't know how the c64 executes a BASIC program.

I know how a program is listed in memory using tokens, but I need to know

what it does with the tokens and how I could add my own commands.

I'll take all the advice and suggestions I can get.

          Thanks in advance!!
