I don't know about God, but Vonnegut created some beings in _Slaughterhouse-
Five_ that could see the whole space-time continuum.  It didn't make them
either omnipotent or fatalistic.

I think the practical issue is whether omniscience is compatible with
prayer.  The "free will" problem seems to appeal mostly to people who
don't use theirs much.
