The third interpretation of "time flies like an arrow"
(i.e. "measure the speed of flies...") admits of
two different readings:

1) Measure the speed of flies the way an arrow does (someone
says to the AI program, "time flies like an arrow" and the
program replies "It would be more efficient if I timed
them like a computer"

2) Measure the speed of flies the same way you measure
the speed of an arrow. The AI program replies, "sorry,
the flies aren't approaching any particular target".
