Suppose you buy a cosmetic from a "humane" company, and it puts YOU in severe agony instead because its caustic effects weren't found in pre-market testing. The cosmetic industry is a multi-billion-dollar black hole, and anything is reason enough to cut their chunk of the GNP down a little. Phil
