I agree with most of Ariel's critique, except that I was under
the impression that it takes place in Utah, not Texas, and the accents
sounded pretty authentic to me.  I've seen (and heard) some pretty awful
reviews of the movie, but the criticisms seem to involve everything BUT its
pure entertainment value, which I think is pretty reasonable.  It's a
fun movie, nothing more.  It'll certainly win no awards for script, acting,
or direction, but it's a fun movie anyway.  I recommend it to anyone who
goes to movies not as an art critic, but as someone looking for
entertainment.
