I hope to provide a more complete review later, but briefly... The compiler features inline 8087 support and timings are comparable to 3.10 FORTRAN. The big news is that the heap allocator now handles more than one 64K data segment! One can only allocate 64K worth of memory at a time but the entire 640K maximum DOS address space can be used. A special version of the linker is provided to deal with larger programs. Dick Gillmann is in England this week so I am sending out INFO-IBMPC before it gets too huge to send. -------
