In response to "Who led the AL in home runs in 1972 and how many?", I received
one response.  I unfortunately lost the name but he said that it was Richie
(Dick) Allen of the White Sox with 37.  He may actually be correct as I did
not check.  I believe that it was Bill Melton also of the White Sox with 32.
Can anyone verify this?  Bill Melton?  Ha Ha.  But he DID win it.  It just
may have been in 1971 or 1973.
