I don't want the government to *force* me to pay another $500-$1000 for my new car! Cars cost enough as it is! I personally do not think air bags will really help all that much, but that isn't the point. If airbags are really so great, sooner or later the insurance companies will realize it and begin charging lower rates to costumers whose cars are so equip- ped.
