Here's a good remedy for the window film, and it really
works! Take a wet cloth, wetted with water or water and
vinegar or water and ammonia or "windex- equivalent" and
wash both sides of the glass. Now dry with newspaper and
its best to use the want ads or an area with a lot of
printing ( lots a ink! ). The ink seems to break up
the film very well. The only trouble you'll find is that
the ink gets on your hands as you clean the windows, but
with care that isn't a problem.
