I would bet that the editor problem is caused by a difference in the way LDOS
and TRSDOS 1.3 (as well as NEWDOS/80) keep track of the EOF in the File Control
Block.  This usually results in one extra record of crap at the end of the file
if the file does not end on a sector boundary.  Unfortunately, the only patches
that I have for any R.S. software were to make them do it the way NEWDOS does,
as opposed to the way Model I TRSDOS 2.3 did it.  The NEWDOS way is better for
variable length records, which is why Radio Shack adopted it for their COBOL
system.  It's too bad that LOBO hasn't seen the light.
