They are pointing radar beams and buzzing us with airplanes to keep us from using too much fuel and getting to our destinations in a timely manner and arriving in a relaxed frame of mind. Now I will jump from sarcasm to state a point of experience. Knowing this fact I left home on a journey that would require driving I-5 through Oregon and Washington. I decided that I would travel at 55 mph and avoid getting cited for driving. The most interesting thing I discovered-- IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO DRIVE A CAR ON AN INTERSTATE HIGHWAY AT 55 MPH FOR MORE THAN 30 SECONDS!!!! I kept fighting me and my car. We were not busted. My fuel consumption was not improved. When I arrived at my destination my nerves were FRIED. How do all you law abiders do it. Does the feeling of being on a pedestal make it worth the effort? Come on BTM, let me hear it from the top. A Proud Member Over 55 Club Hal Bates teklabs!tekid!halb
