I would like to state that Western Electric modems have demonstrated no
better or worse reliability records than any other manufacturer.
If you have MTBF or other information,  I would like to see it.  By the
way,  in my experience,  the "desk model" 103 modem from Western is horrible.
It definately is not proof against a 30 inch drop to a wood floor...
