                        J O B   O P E N I N G

                            July 14, 1983

The Hydromechanics Laboratory at the U. S. Naval Academy has  a  posi-
tion open for a GS-11/12 electronics engineer.  This position requires
experience in the design and assembly of special purpose  instrumenta-
tion systems utilized in a $12M experimental laboratory.  A background
in digital electronics and related computer  software  long  with  the
ability   to  interface  instrumentation packages to PDP-11 systems is
desirable.

The job an is a full time civil service position with a  salary  range
of  $27K to $38K.  The laboratory staff is civillian and services both
the academic and research communities.
