I would like to add something that is probably not known to most people who
read an English translation of the old testament and think that it is a
correct one:

There are approximately 8000 different Hebrew words (including noun-stems
and verb-stems) used in the text of the old testament.  Of these, A FULL ONE
THIRD APPEAR EXACTLY ONCE.

There are some obvious problems in trying to figure out what a lot of it
really means.
