Lines: 27 This submission updates my previous article concerning experiences with the new Radio Shack PRO-24 pocket scanner. On July 9, I returned the PRO-24 to the dealer from which it was purchased and received another one in exchange. This new one has a later serial number (210852) and was packaged in a red and white box. The original unit was packaged in a blue and white box. The sensitivity of the replacement scanner is much better than that of the original unit, although still not quite as good on UHF as a friend's Fanon 6 channel scanner. The holes on the belt clip of the new scanner are the proper size, as contrasted to the improper molding job done on the first one. The squelch hysteresis was a problem on both scanners, but my original news item detailed a fix for that. Robert S.
