Message-ID: <996@uwvax.ARPA> Date: Sat, 16-Jul-83 22:17:42 EDT Article-I.D.: uwvax.996 Posted: Sat Jul 16 22:17:42 1983 Date-Received: Sun, 17-Jul-83 13:29:10 EDT Organization: U of Wisconsin CS Dept Lines: 20 I'm trying to learn to write good poetry, because I would like to be a writer some day. Being of scientific bent, to some degree, I thought of the following way to attack the problem with a sledge hammer. I also am responsible for protesting "lack of form" in net.poems. I would like readers of net.poems to suggest, via mail, some subject matter for a poem (a word, an idea, a scene, something like that) and I will attempt to write a poem about it. These poems I will then post to net.poems for open scrutiny, lambasting, and constructive (?) criticism. I will also desist from posting them if people think they are bad enough (and give up my ideas of becoming a writer....) Anybody game? --Glenn Reid ..seismo!uwvax!reid reid@wisconsin.ARPA
