At Usenix a allusion was made to paging having been demonstrated
to give better performance than swapping (I think this was brought
up in the discussion comparing the Bell and Berkeley distributions.)
Could someone please tell me where the quantified results of these
comparisons can be found?  Has anyone generalized these results
beyond the VAX?  Please respond via mail,
