I'm really confused about how arpanet works.
It seems to have several connections to our own usenet
(so I deduce from people's signatures)
but where are they?  How do you talk to them?

I understand the topology of usenet (thanks to Karen Shannon's fine map)
but how does arpa look?  Can all arpa sites talk to all other arpa sites?

Could some old experienced hands mail me some info?
I will summarize to the net.
