You don't run into rollere skaters in an elevator, or restaraunt, or in the office, or on a bus. With all(most) of her examples, you don't have to look at, nor would you have to deal with unduly tan (a reference to blacks?) people everywhere in life. As a non-smoker, you cannot get away from the inconsiderate @*%$#&'s that smoke in public. Where do you go in an elevator when someone lights up? Where do you go in a restaraunt, after waiting 90 minutes for a table when...? Where do you go on a bus, or subway when...? Where do you go in a public restroom when ...? Where do you go when you are in your own office and someone lights up?? It is not the smoker that bothers me. It is not the act of smoking that bothers me. IT IS THEIR SMOKE THAT BOTHERS ME!!! If they could keep their smoke to themselves, I wouldn't mind them smoking. Invent a little 'smoking bubble' that confines all the smoke to the smoker. It would make me and a lot of other non-smokers happy, not to mention speeding up the slow-motion- suicide. (** FRODO **)
