One problem I see with the view that non-smokers are handicapped
or have some disability like acne is that a lot of the people who
dont smoke dont smoke because it causes cancer. That makes them
bright. Of course, in a society designed for morons, intelligence is
a handicap.

I figure that the real problem is that non-smokers are too tolerant.
There are still more non-smokers than smokers, after all. I dont know
how many people dont smoke and dont care.

Rather than a telethon, how about boycotting places that have no
non-smoking sections? How about telling every smoker you see in a restaurant
how revolted you are by his habit? After all, the discomfort they must feel
being told that they are revolting is comperable to the discomfort
I feel having to sit next to them.

If enough establishments wake up, then we can have no-smoking sections
in restaurants and bars. And we wont need another law in the already
too-damn-crowded lawbooks. Of course, if most people wont object to
smokers and establishments that dont provide no-smoking sections then
all I do is in vain; and people who can get up off their butts and change
things without resorting to government intervention will all suffer because
of too many people who dont know how to do anything unless they have the
strong arm of the law right behind you.

How many people get thrown into jail in Canada or the USA for insulting
others? very few, I am told. So why be so tolerant of smokers? You dont
need a law to accomplish everything, folks...
