I agree 100% with "Morgoth's" comments...

You never know when the car behind you might even be a policeman trying
to inconspicuously get someplace quickly....or a fireman, rescue worker, etc.
that happens to be in the "other"  car (the one without the siren).

Common courtesy rules that if someone is trying to make time, it is not up
to you to try to impede him. Get out of the way! If the police arrive, they
will take care of the matter......fine the dolt/or assist.... whichever
is appropriate!
