There are a lot of things that Medicare pays for, and singling out abortion
is a little far fetched. What about Lung Cancer? Say I said that the people
with Lung Cancer because they worked in an asbestos mine could get medicare
but it served the lousy smokers right and I didnt want to pay for them?
Suppose I thought that hysterectomies/vasectomies/tubal ligations were
unneccesary and therefore I shouldnt have to pay for them? Suppose I thought
that *all* elective surgery shouldnt be paid for out of my pockets? or
all perscription drugs? or all pain-killers?

The problem grows messier...
