Yes, yes, yes. I agree, a male under 19 (my experience was more like 29)
can be a very sad thing to be.

Nothing is categorically true, of course. We all kn(o/e)w many very
successful men/boys in high school, or college. Each person seems
to flourish at his/her own age. But of the males I've known, most
(I'm not talking about the `popular' exceptions) seem to be miserable
until sometime after 25. Maybe that says more about my friends than
    the general population, though.

This contrasts with my viewpoint of the women I've known, who seemed
to become unhappier with the very advancing age that seemed to give
    me more life.

If there's any validity to my observations at all, then perhaps my
conclusions (the mind seems always to search for meaning in its
perceptions, even if they are garbage... GIGO?) are worth hearing:

	1. Society worships men with money and power... something 19 year
old males are sadly lacking, except for the alternative power
images that peak during this age among jocks and rowdies.

	2. Society worships women with beauty (as defined in COSMO, Playboy)
...something that is starting to diminish at about 25.

Admittedly, these are stupid observations, easily spotted on any TV
sitcom -- and they're only meaningful to the extent that you and your
friends are plugged into such media.

But maybe they're valuable to hold in mind, so you can spot the enemy
when you feel it sneaking into your mind. Such thinking destroys life
as I feel it should be. Men chasing $$$ and women traumatized by time
itself! I'd rather spend my life in a cave on a mountain!!
