Hear, hear!

I've been using the Atari 800 as both fun & games and "serious" for several
months now.

Some of the "serious" stuff includes:
Payroll system
Word processor
Data Base
Invoicing system (custom written by yours truly)....The others are off-the-shelf
There is NOTHING around in its price range that beats it for capability
A  N  D  (underline/double-strike) SOFTWARE AVAILABILITY.

That's what the computer is all about----software NOT HARDWARE.

A computer is a tool----

Try to use a hammer without nails, a screw driver w/o screws...etc.

You get my point.


A C/64 could be FREE---it still would cost too much relative to the ATARI
the first time you had to buy a software package and found i wasn't
xxxxxxxxxx (it wasn't) available.

Oh, yeah....don't forget Visicalc (TM)!
