Lines: 31 To change the subject a bit from "How did your parents meet?", etc: I'm curious to know whether other net.singles readers have had any experiences (good or bad) with the Interactions services. For those of you unfamiliar with it, Interactions is a dating service which claims to be superior to all those computer-matched and other rather impersonal services people subscribe to. Interactions' selling point is that it uses "trained professionals" to find a MOTOS who is closely compatible to you. They also ask you for feedback (in the form of a kind of report card) on the person they match you up with, and are supposed to adjust their selections according to your rating of that person. All of this does not come cheap; one can spend several hundred dollars for a 2-year stint, during which you are guaranteed to be introduced to at least 13 MOTOS. I was involved with Interactions some time ago (it seemed like a pretty attractive service at the time, even though I'd never gotten myself into any type of dating service before). The staff had me come to their office in the Chicago Loop for an interview, during which I also had to fill out a very lengthy form containing my interests, hobbies, the type of person I'd like to date, etc. Anyway, I received around 10 introductions within about 10 months and found it to be very disappointing. They were incompatible in interests, education, background, attractiveness and everything I mentioned on my form. Has anybody else been involved in this service? What have your impressions been? Obviously, I'm not recommending Interactions to even my worst enemies, but I'd like to hear some other people's responses. Bob Paveleck ihldt!paveleck
