Roy, you say that if a person doesn't understand a word or action,
no amount of observation will help.  Well, as I understand it, when
I was born, I knew nothing, understood nothing, and generally didn't
know what was going on around me.  I seem to have picked up a good
deal by observation.

As for respect, perhaps if you find that people don't learn respect
by watching you, then maybe you should consider what they're ob-
serving.
