Message-ID: <1605@ihnss.UUCP> Date: Thu, 14-Jul-83 19:02:51 EDT Article-I.D.: ihnss.1605 Posted: Thu Jul 14 19:02:51 1983 Date-Received: Fri, 15-Jul-83 02:16:02 EDT Organization: BTL Naperville, Il. Lines: 8 I'd like to know what functions are performed by the 6522 chip. I assume it is a PIA, with two 8-bit bi-directional (programmable0 parallel ports. But what else does it have? Interrupts, timer, or what? The 6530 chip used in KIM-I had all that plus ROM and a little RAM. Are there any manufacturer's spec sheets for this and other 6502 family parts, or do I need to borrow a Commodore or Apple manual? Thanks, mike k
