I don't think you can actually transfer the line-drawing output to another
device, because the line drawing set is your standard ASCII character set
preceded by a Cntrl-N (a Cntrl-O will get you out of line-drawing).  What I am
saying is, the line-drawing set is device dependent (unless you can print it
out on the thermal printer, digitize it, and port the data onto another
device [kludge!]).
