UMODEM, written in C, runs on UNIX and supports the public domain modem protocol, and MODEM7xx, written in assembly language, runs on UNIX and supports the same protocol. UMODEM has had some problems running through the ARPA Net, but runs fine in direct connect to UNIX. Both programs are in the public domain and available in source code form on MIT-MC. Rick
