My favorite message comes from Emacs (Gosling version). Periodically
I get confused about which of the four machines I regularly work
with is the one I'm currently using, and enter a wrong command.
When I use ^t instead of ^v in an attempt to get to a new page,
Emacs thoughtfully expresses its confusion with the cheerful
message
"There is no other window, twit."
I like a machine that gets cheerfully abusive, occasionally.
It keeps one awake.
