The rule regarding sacrifice flies has changed many times over the years.
Usually it has flipflopped between a SF being credited only if a runner
scores and being credited if anyone advances.  I think the present rule
is only on a score.  It might change next year.

Believe it or not, a sacrifice fly once counted as a hit, resulting in grossly
inflated averages.  This only lasted for a couple of years.  I think
Hack Wilson was the chief beneficiary.  By the way, does anyone know how
he caused an unassisted double play on a hit?
