I am responding to the response stating "why do the people that responded
to the article feel they had to state they weren't gay."

I am a recent reader of net.flame but already I have seen that if you try to
take this group seriously and post your opinions, you are jumped apon and people
try to figure out why you have such strange views. Thus people feel the nec-
essity to try to head these off at the pass. By stating that they weren't gay,
they save themselves the bother of lating saying, "no, my comments weren't made
to protect my gay irish setter."

My own opinion on the original article is that the person wrote it as a method
of getting attention. "I know, I'll post a stupid bigoted aritcle and see all
the things that are written about ME." The grown up version of using your
crayons on mommys clean walls. If I am right, it is sad that the person
doesn't have anything intelligent to say. I guess all computer people don't
HAVE to be educated, intelligent people.
