I used to BRAKE (HARD) FOR TAILGATERS too, until one day one of the dirty
so-and-so's smashed into the rear of my car -- which led to some
interesting revelations:

	He didn't have a license.
	He was drunk.
As a Washington, D.C. resident, he wasn't required to have insurance
	(And of course, he didn't).
He didn't have a job, nor money, so suing was not an option.
He was very angry at me for inconveniencing him and I hurt my
knuckles pretty bad convincing him to quit attacking me.
The police got every penny of their money (in fines and whatnot).
	I never got a dime.

Now-a-days, I apply my brakes a little less sudden, and slow down until they
back off or go around.

There's no problem with the legal system here. YOU caused the accident!
