I have found Multiplan unacceptable because it loses the second digit
of a number at even relatively slow typing speeds. The problem is that
anything you type at the top level is a command (as opposed to Supercalc
where a command is invoked with "/". When you type a digit, Multiplan
goes off to decide that you hav invoked the value command, but by the
time it comes back, you are up to the third digit. If you don't have a
hardware type ahead buffer, it means you have to watch the screen pretty
carefully, and wait a bit till you type the second digit.
