I am getting ready to file a tax appeal of the assessed
valuation on my house. Does anyone out there have any
experience at what a successful appeal requires, or how
easy it is to win an appeal. Also, how does one collect the
evidence needed for the appeal - such as assessments on like property.

Does one typically need an attorney to have a chance to win the
appeal? Any constructive comments should be sent to me and
I will post a summary to the net.
