The "Telnet" program mentioned by Phil Lapsley is now totally obsolete.
BDS C currently comes with a beast called "TELED", which supports MODEM7
protocol (now with CRC ability), simple text buffering/flushing/sending,
and even has a simple screen editor built in. I will put the latest version
into the archives soon.
