I need some advice on a problem I just noticed on my '82
Buick Skyhawk. I've been using gasohol in the car ever
since I bought it. I remember reading some article in
this newsgroup recently saying that gasohol is harmful
if spilled on any of the car's painted surfaces. As you
can probably guess, I inadvertantly spilled some gasohol
on a very small area below the gas tank. A couple of
days ago, I noticed a hazy, whitish mark below the gas tank
(where the spill occurred).

My question to you net.auto readers is: Can this hazy
blotch be removed easily (i.e., by rubbing it out,
touch-up paint, etc.) or would it be more trouble than
it's worth? It's a very small area, but I'd like to
correct the problem if it was feasible.
