You provide the time and place - and hints about what is going on, but never answer the questions that must be, before most people will take you seriously. An announcement is fine if you have a constituency, but the tone of yours indicates you don't. So how about providing a bit more information in your messages? 1) Who goes to these events? old people? teenagers? kids? men only? gays only? couples? families? Give a head count and examples. 2) How safe are the places? Are the cops waiting with binoculars? Old men in overcoats? Photography nuts? Hell's Angels? Again, examples and reports, please. 3) What are the laws? specifically? as enforced? (area-by-area) 4) What happens to you when you DO get caught? Examples, please. 5) Where (exactly) are the events held? parking? facilities? 6) Why go bare? and why is it so interesting? (I suspect that this is THE most widely read newsgroup even though it has had only 3 contributors) comfort? sexuality? protest? 7) Why are you so coy about these things? and why are there so few contributors to this newsgroup? fear? guilt? embarrassment? I am sure there are a hundred other questions to be answered, but how about some answers to these. How about some articles from others? Mel Haas , houxm!mel
