Leave your (new) car in the East Parking Lot at Indian Hill South
(IX) in a good wind.

A couple of weeks ago during a rather nasty thunder storm, a large
ammount of loose roofing gravel was blown off the roof onto some
30 unfortunate cars. The main damage was to windows, 15 or so being
shattered. The expensive damage, however, was to the paint work.
Cars were peppered with pin-head size dings and scratches, many
exposing bare metal. Typical damage costs ~$1200 per car!

My insurance company seems likley to fork out the $1700 to repaint
my 1983 Scirocco, however I just wondered if either BTL, or more
probably, the Landlord of the rented property, are liable?
