After seeing virtually every Star Trek episode at least several dozen
times, I was shocked to notice an incredible screw up (or practical
joke) by the director and/or makeup man which I had never noticed before:

Episode: The one where Kirk gets split by the transporter
into a "good" guy and a "bad" guy.

Scene: Close to the end, when the "bad" Kirk tries to
take command of the bridge and the "good" Kirk
	       confronts him.

Screwup: The scratches which Yoeman Rand (now that's another
story!) planted on "bad" Kirk's LEFT cheek, and which
have remained on his LEFT cheek through the entire
show, suddenly have migrated to his RIGHT cheek!!!
