    I was told by my old local Toyota shop (Rambo Motors,
Portland Ore) that some oils, such as Pennzoil, are paraffin
based. They said it wasn't a problem as long as most driving
was long/far enough to completely heat the oil. If short drives
were the norm, it would begin to muck up things.
    They used and recommended Valvoline.
