Olson @ Tektronix, Instrument Division ---------- There was an article posted recently wondering about aftermarket car seats other than Recaros. This made me wonder about the following scheme for keeping the driver in place. Cover the seat in material of the loop half of loop-and-hook Velcro*. Then sew onto the seat of your racing pants strips of the hook half of Velcro. This is only a half serious idea but one wonders about the possibilities. Any real racers care to comment? (I've seen either a JS&A or DAK catalog offering a Recaro seat mounted on a roller base for use as an office desk chair.) *Velcro is probably a trademark of someone or other.
