The "HILL" signs in Montana remind me of my experience going to the
Lick Astronomical Observatory south of San Francisco.  It's at the top
of quite a hill, which shouldn't surprise you.  At the bottom of this
hill, an unassuming sign proclaimed "Road Curves  Next 19 Miles."
They weren't kidding.

New Jersey has its tough roads too.  My usual reaction to a speed
limit sign was to assume that the road is safe at double the posted
speed.  I have learned one lesson though.  When you see a sign that
says 5 MPH, take heed, cuz they're serious.  Bang.  Ouch.
