Who pays for those heroic and expensive rescue effort
needed to get mountain climbers down that get themselves
into trouble?
The taxpayer, that's who.
Although I don't think that the financial status of
mountain climbers and others who practice dangerous
sports should be checked before the rescue,
I certainly think they should pay those costs afterwards,
It's part of the expense of participating just as much
as buying equipment.
