Postal chess participants are discouraged from flooding net.chess with results.
A much better approach would be if participants *finished* their game and then
sent in the game result. Thus at the end of each round a complete transcript
of the games scores and the current tournament score of the players would be
posted. Thus for a four round tournament that would mean 4 items of news
posted. This would enable players examine their future opponents games and
arrive at conclusions on how they may play there future games. It would also
eliminate net.chess from a deluge of news items of half finished games.
(Such an event would be depressing - who wants to see half finished games? )
In any case **PLEEZ** do not send your half finished games as *news items*.
Over the coming weeks we will develop a mechanism (i.e. - somebody to send
your games to - probably Lance) to develop a "Newsletter" for each round (4).
