Fischer might come out of his hole to watch, oh boy. This is the first time that there's been a candidate's match in the US in a dog's age. I wouldn't be surprised if Kasparov defects, this is his big chance. He's a student of English and a seemingly levelheaded person, but not a drone like Karpov. Has anyone seen Fischer's account of his being "kidnapped" by the Pasadena police force? He says they arrested him for questioning for some crime he didn't commit and they treated him harshly.
