Tomatoes can be self-pollinating; apparently some flowers are male, and some female. Bees may not play a role in fertilization. 2). A tiny paint brush dipped in several flowers (to make sure that the male pollen gets to the female flowers) may do the trick. 3). One person said that honey can contain bacteria that can harm bees, so I should not set it out!! Thanks for the replies, I'll try the paint brush trick.
