The installation took about a half a day on each vehicle, the truck being the easiest since there is lots of room to work. The only problem I had was getting a vacuum source. I don't have air conditioning on either car. I think that the manufacturer is ZEMCO or something like that. I no longer have the box it came in and all the literature is nameless(probably because they supply to Sears and the like). I bought them on sale at one of the local discount houses for about 55 dollars each. I have seen them for as high as $69. The speed pickup comes from some magnets you strap to the drive line. You have to mount a coil pretty close (3/8-1/2") to the magnets and that gave me a little trouble on the Volvo. The control head is a small module with three buttons on it. It has the accelerate/decelerate and coast/resume functions. I also put Cibie quartz halogen headlights on both cars. They are great for Oregon weather!
