Tailgating is against the law.
Once I was in a traffic court pleading innocent.
That means I had to sit there and watch every guilty
guy in town get tried first. Well one of the cases I saw
was a real eye opener for me. It seems there were these
three attractive women cruising around the circuit in Asbury
Park, N.J., U.S.A and this guy in another car followed them and
tried to talk to them from his car and was real annoying
and even exhibited some bad driving.
Well these women took down his liscence plate number,
and there he was in court with three witnesses swearing
to speeding, tailgating, etc. on his part.
The judge found him guilty, fined him, and gave him a lecture.
The women looked smug, and maintained enough annonimity to
probably get away with it.
So there is an option, if you've got a witness, to what you can
do to bad drivers if you've got enough time and anger.
