I don't believe it follows that requiring airbags prevents you from
using seatbelts. My father put airline style seatbelts in the "family"
car long before seatbelts were standard or mandatory.

However, if seatbelts and airbags don't mix for some technical reason
I'm unaware of, please inform me, for I too am in favor of seatbelts
over airbags.

Alas, I don't normally use seatbelts around town, but I ALWAYS do for
highway driving. I think the reasons are twofold:
	1) I consider myself a competent driver, capable of driving
		defensively and avoiding or reducing the seriousness
		of an accident before it occurs, given the low speeds
		(<35mph) speeds to begin with.
	2) I've experienced my share of low (& high) speed mishaps and fender
		benders (as driver, passenger, and motorcycle rider).
I think getting myself to use seatbelts at all times (driving) is sort of like
the problem others have of quitting smoking.
