Two unrelated comments regarding the last few days' discussions:

1 - re:American Pie
Could be that the "father, son, and holy ghost" who "caught the last train
for the coast" refers not to dead rock stars (as someone had suggested), but
rather to the popular late sixties concept that "God is dead".
Also, someone asked for the complete lyrics to the song. I have the
sheet music at home and if I don't see the lyrics before tommorow, I will
post them on the net.

2 - re:good stereo recordings
"Funk#49" on the album "James Gang Rides Again" and "Best of The James
Gang". I have always used the intro of this song as a sure fire test to
determine if one channel is blown.

    Make that three unrelated comments!

3 - re:bluegrass
If anyone on the net (besides me) is interested in bluegrass music
(from Gid Tanner to David Grisman) please reply and/or open relavent
discussions.
