I have a friend who has installed several add on cruise controls and he
seemed to find the Sears unit to be about the best. The Sears unit sold
several years ago was made by the same company that produced the units for
General Motors and so they were identical except the GM unit sensed from
the speedometer cable while the Sears unit sensed magnets attached to
the drive shaft. The Sears unit had more features than the original
equipment GM unit allowing you to increase speed by just pushing a button
or allowing you to slow down for a moment and then resume your old speed.
I find these very desirable as my Trans-Am won't do these things and it
is a pain to reset the thing every time I have to slow down for someone.

You should have no trouble with the installation and the clamp on control
that goes on the turn signal shaft almost looks original!

Good luck! Keith Bauer
