In 1968 I bought a KLH Model 24 Compact SYstem -- Am/FM stereo/
turntable/amp unit plus two speakers (I think they == 17's).
This is still my main system today, except for the not-so-hot
Garrard changer (which my son uses) and I use a Scott tube amp
with my Onkyo table.
I am still amazed how much clean deep bass comes out of
those 8" woofers, and the treble is pretty crisp too.
And everything still works after 15 years. I paid $360 for this
back then. Any other manufacturer car to make this claim?
PS: Anyone know where I can get a schematic in case the thing
ever breaks down?
