Stop trying to tell me that the government should impose restrictions
that protect me from myself!  (What is freedom?)



There are more important things that government should spend its time on.

If I don't use a seatbelt, I impose no danger to you, whereas if my brakes,
steering, etc is unsafe, I do.
Let's see some laws getting irresponsible drivers (e.g. those without
insurance, unsafe vehicles) off the road instead.

Smoking seems to be one of those borderline cases, but
I don't buy the arguments for forcing use of seatbelts.
Didn't we learn anything from prohibition?
