Members of my family, including myself, have had acup. for various things,
among those, hayfever, which helped a lot. My mom used to be a receptionist
for an acupuncturist. This acupuncturist had trained many years in Taiwan.
Unfortunately, many acupuncturists today think they are experts after a
year or two of training. Quite a few of the clients my mom made appointments
for were people who had gotten screwed up by acupuncturists who didn't
know what they were doing, and came to my mom's acupuncturist to un-do
the harm that the others did.
So, beware, there are a lot of quacks out there.
