All right everybody, here's a chance to flame like mad. William Safire
writes a weekly column called "On Language" for the New York Times
Sunday Magazine. This past Sunday (7/24), he actually asked readers to
submit their opinions on the proper etiquette and style to be used in
electronic mail! He obviously doesn't know how people who regularly
use electronic mail LOVE to express opinions at length, in detail, and
with vehemence. Anyway, he didn't give an electronic address to send
opinions to, so you'll have to use (yecch) US Mail to let him know your
version of absolute truth. Write to him c/o the New York Times, NY,
NY.
