There are/were enough faans on the net that there was an sf-lovers party
at last year's worldcon.  I'd estimate that about 50-60 people passed through
over the course of the evening, which is fairly high for a closed-door party.
(The only "announcement", other than one in sf-lovers itself, was a sign on
the "Party Times" bulletin board which read "@room#,time".
