Well, I finally found some real statements from politicians

When John F. Kennedy nominated his brother Bobby for the Attorney generalship
he said "I see nothing wrong with giving Robert some legal experience as
attorney general before he goes out to practice law."

Kennedy also was attacked often for having a rich father. He commented on this
by saying ""I have just received the following telegram from my generous daddy.
It says, 'Dear Jack: Don't buy a single vote more the`an is necessary. I'll be
damned if I'm going to pay for a landslide.'"

John Glenn said recently "First, let me say that I AM NOT DULL. [pause] Boring
maybe-but not dull"

My favorite adaptation of a politicians saying was a picture of a pregnant
Lucy Van Pelt (from the comic strip Peanuts) yelling "NIXON'S THE ONE!"
