Well, to give you an idea of the durability of a Mazda, let me just say
that Consumer Reports gave them about the 3rd highest rating in their
book on Used Cars - they have a great track record; low maintanance. I
suppose I am prejudiced, as Mazda is one of my all time favourite car
manufacturers. But the performance on the GLC is quite reasonable. The
sport sedan seems nice although I've heard it's a bit tinny and also
that the ride is, well, not all it should be. You should test-drive.
Another car to consider in roughly the same class would be perhaps the
Toyota Celica. It too has a good maintenance record and is perhaps a
bit more fun to drive. Good luck!
