I'm working on modular programming languages and systems for my Ph.D. (how
original, I hear you say...). Anyway, I need to get ahold of a set of
Intel 432 documentation (GDP, IOP, operating system, and Ada implementation).
One of the faculty here suggested that I write to Intel's "College Relations"
department, and even gave me a specific name. After two letters and a very
long delay, they finally sent me a "thank you for your interest in our
products" form letter and a little booklet with a price list and order form
for Intel manuals (which doesn't even seem to list the GDP architecture
manual!). Gad.

Anyway, I was hoping for something a little more helpful than this, particularly
since I recall hearing that Intel was practically giving away 432 development
systems to University researchers who could use them. All I want is some
technical documentation--and being a grad student without an expense account,
I don't want to lay out nearly $200 for the list price of these things. I'd be
grateful for any help--people to contact, experience getting information from
Intel, etc. Replies from Aloha or other related places would be particularly
welcome. Thanks.
