Hi, I would like someone to explain the difference between the notesfiles
system and the 'readnews' interface. I am currently using the 'vnews'
interface which I am quite please with (thank you Ken!). However, I know
(from my time at UofI in Champaign) that the notesfile interface has
many advantages, especially in the processing of responses to existing
notes (although netnews has the added complexity of allowing responses
     before the actual note).

Although it has been covered before, could someone describe the aspects
of 'notesfiles' as an alternative to 'readnews'. Can it be used in
conjuction with readnews, or is it basically a choice of 'readnews
and vnews' vs. 'notesfiles'?? ==Tim Thompson==BTL/Holmdel==hocda!tjt==
