We just converted to 2.10. Several of our users had been reading news
by doing readnews -p >temp, and invoking their favorite mailer (not
necessarily /usr/ucb/Mail) on temp. The mailers depend on the file
being simply a UNIX mail file. The new -p option outputs "From:" lines
rather than "From " lines, and it also outputs other cruft such as
newsgroup headers, which upsets our mailers.
The -c option gives output that looks just like the -p option.

While I could fix this in about an hour by grovelling through the code
and mimicking the -M option, I'd like to know if any combination of
command-line options or any C code that someone else has already
written will solve our problem.
