I suggest the following subjects for discussion:

1. How to test speakers, lacking an anechoic chamber, calibrated microphone,
etc. Do you know how to test for boom and even frequency response?

2. Tubes vs. transistors for Class A amplifier operation. In fact,
Class A vs. AB or B would be (has been) an interesting debate.

3. Bets on when:
    (a) Really first-class turntables and arms (SME, Linn Sondek type)
are driven down to the $200 price level by CD competition
    (b) The above products disappear from the market entirely
    (c) CDs are replaced by some other technology, e.g., magnetic
bubble plug-ins. Surely, the next generation of medium
development will appear in a shorter interval than it took
CDs to appear (i.e., 90 or so years after the analogue
        platter)?
