I have seen this happen.  Wolfenstein uses a binary file called something
like "CASTLE" to store the current layout of the castle.  There is a file
called "BACKUP" that can take the place of "CASTLE" should it get trashed.
just RENAME CASTLE,BLAH  RENAME BACKUp\P,CASTLE  RENAME BLAH,BACKUP 
you do have to get to MUSE DOS to do this, but CCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCC you.
