		Oregon Ski Report

    For you guys wandering what the skiing is like in Orgeon
these are the conditions on wends jan 19 at 6:00.  There has
been some new snow this week but not a lot.  With a little
luck it will keep snowing steadly this week.  It is overcast
or snowing at all the ski areas currently and snow showers
are forcast for today and tomorrow.

At Timberline lodge in Goverment camp it is 26 deg and snowing
lightly. the winds are 0-5 mph. The runs are packed powder
with 6"new in the last 24hr for a 108" total.  All lifts are
open except Palmer.  They are open every day with two lifts
open for night skiing wends through sunday.

    The Mt Hood Meadows ski area is at 30F with light winds
They have had 4" new in the lst 24hr giving an 85" base. The
runs are packed powder. All lifts but yellow and texas are open
for day skiing and daisy, blue and yellow after dark. All runs
except Heather Canyon are scheduled for this weekend.

    Mt Batchelor currently is overcast at 23 deg and no wind.
They have a 96" base including 6" new in the last 24 hr period.
The runs are discribed as "Fast packed powder".  They are open
9-4 every day but Monday.  The Cross Country track is open for
25km of trails.

    Ski Bowl/Multipor is open with 30 deg and a 20" base 
including 1 1/2" of new. The upper bowl is on weather standby.
Multipor is open on the weekend.
