Both Saskatoon and Seattle would require not only the building of a new arena, but would also make a reshuffling of the divisions necessary. Why not move the team to Indianapolis? The arena used by the now defunct WHA is available ( since the CHL Checkers play in the old Fairgrounds Coliseum ). Indianapolis is a reasonable distance from Detroit, Toronto, Chicago, and Minnesota so the division could remain intact. Indianapolis is trying to become a major-league town with bids in for both a major-league baseball team and an NFL team for the new Hoosier Dome. And finally, many of the Blues players have objected to moving to Canada because of the taxation structure. Make everybody happy.....The Indy Blues. Still an Indy boy at heart, Bruce Armstrong
