My attitude towards the posting of questionable jokes
has changed recently. I used to think the encryption
of questionable jokes was a fine solution.

However, this only solves our internal USENET political
problem. A friend of mine came back from the Physical
Activities building really inscensed the other day.
She had seen a list of particularly bigoted jokes.
She repeated a couple at my request. With a sinking
feeling I recognized them as coming from an encrypted
net.jokes article I had read recently. She asked me
rhetorically, "where do people get stuff like this anyway."

So everyone, think before you post an encrypted joke,
how would you feel knowing that someone might post it
in a public place with your name on it?
