I've just seen a portable radio/stereo/cassette unit (you know,
the type with the handle on top and the detachable speakers on
each side). This particular unit had a "walkman style" removable
cassette unit with headphones and listen mic. It struck me as an
excellent travelling sound system. I've often attended weddings
or reunions or just travelled and found I would appreciate a sound
system I could take into a motel suite or hospitality room. The
added feature of a removable personal cassette is ideal. The one
I played with was a YORK or a YORX or something and looked slightly
cheap, but cost <$200. I've seen many walkman style personal
cassettes for more than that. Any opinions?
