I find objection to 'some peoples' classification of the generic type
"singles". Who is to say that a twenty year old widow, or a 37 year old
whos marriage was annuled is any less a "single" than those that claim the
title by virtue of the fact that they have not wanted to, or been unable to
marry, for whatever reason. A single is someone who is not married. Period!
If you feel that you want to only have dealings with an extremely narrow
slice of the entire singles population, try creating your own newsgroup such
as 'net.singles.nevermarried.6ft+.blond.blue_eyed.over$60Ksalary'. Me, I'll
stay with my classification of singles. I have found all of them interesting,
weird, special, confusing, loving, compassionate, etc., etc., etc. Every
fascinating aspect of each individual that I run into makes me happy that I am
me, and I hope that I never start weeding out, or preselecting friends or
lovers according to such guidelines as was in the following article. Please
excuse the FLAME, but this touched a soft spot.
