There ought to be more like you around! You certainly haven't offended this
member of the other 1/2. I think your ideas are terrific! Might I add a few
comments?

While you don't want to "look too hungry" (who wants to be pressured) on the
other hand, don't be TOO cool. The other 1/2 doesn't want to play mind reader,
either. Let the MOTOS know that you are interested in them and exactly what
it was that got you interested. If you are thinking "this MOTOS is sexy,
intelligent, fun to be with, etc." don't just think it--SAY it. SINCERE
compliments are always welcome. When telling a MOTOS what attracted you to
them, do not ONLY mention their physical attributes! I am always happy to hear
that a man finds me to be attractive, but if this is ALL he has noticed about
me after an evening out, I am a bit insulted.

Projecting an "attitude that you don't care whether or not you're going to do
things we can't talk about in a newsgroup that children might read" is also
sound advice. Why do some people get so anxious about that? If the chemistry
is right, things will just HAPPEN. Why worry about it??

I also liked your advice about not having more than two drinks on a date. On one
of my recent dates, I had 1.5 drinks to his 10 (or was it 11? 12? I lost count).
I never went out with him again.

As you point out, leather is sexy--expecially with tight blue jeans (my own
preference).
