However, I do draw a distinction between a public situation and space that is "owned" by someone; posting *anything* (nude photos, religious pamphlets, political tracts) in a public place is distracting and annoying. I tend to put such things in the same catagory as grafitti; it's detracts from the overall appearance of the space. People should be free to post whatever they like in space that belongs to them; I don't keep anything more "offensive" than a Snoopy calendar on the walls of my private office, but certainly respect other peoples's right to have anything they like on the walls of theirs.
