A few months ago it was a magazine, edited by two friends of mine who worked for Jim Warren. After deciding not to run another Computer Faire after last year's, he decided to take over editorship himself and fired the editors, Cheryl Rhodes and Tony Bove'. As far as I know it's still just a magazine, though there are pretensions to eventual implementation (eg you can try to subscribe to the "broadcast version" or the "printed version" but only one is implemented yet.) Contact DataCast magazine, 345 Swett Rd, Woodside, CA for more info. John Gilmore, Sun Microsystems PS: I'm not sure one way or the other, but I think he reneged and is again running the Computer Faire this year.
