After reading this song, you will understand why I, of all people felt
obligated to bringing it to you. For those of you who don't know the
work of Allan Sherman, do yourselves a favor and ask a friend, parent,
relative, or co-worker to play you "Hello Muddah, Hello Faddah" or
"Glory, Glory, Harry Lewis" or "Harvey and Shiela." Believe me you know
someone who owns those records. This came from Shermans autobiography.
Be that as it may, I don't think this one was ever put on a record.
If anyone knows of this appearing on a record, please respond to me
via mail. I am posting it for all, or at least some, to enjoy
It is to the tune of "Over the Rainbow" from, well, modesty
prevents me from mentioning the movie title.

			OVERWEIGHT PEOPLE

Somewhere, overweight people,
Just like me,
Must have someplace where folks don't count
	every calorie. . . .

Somewhere, over the rainbow,
Way up tall,
There's a land where they've never heard of
	cholesterol.

Where folks can eat just what the want
And still be trim and slim and gaunt,
You'll find me--
Where every little think I taste
Won't wind up showing on my waist,
Or worse--behind me.

Some where, overindulging is devine. . . .
If their waistlines aren't bulging,
Why then, oh why does mine?

If bluebirds weighed as much as I
You'd see some big fat bluebirds in the sky.

			Hope you enjoyed,
			OZ
