Mortimer Adler, director of the Institute for Philosophical Research in Chicago, discusses what he considers six of the most basic ideas, Truth, Beauty, Goodness, Liberty, Equality, and Justice, with an international panel from various fields. Each show is an hour long and addresses one topic (in the order above). I saw the show on Beauty last night and it was very interesting. It might start some interesting discussions on the net (in case things get dull). In Chicago, watch channel 11, WTTW, January 6, 11, 12, 13, at 10:30 PM. That's Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. (Sorry, you already missed the first two. Hopefully they will repeat it soon.) metaphysically, Ed Pawlak ihuxb!ewp
