comments on review and related cartridges:

demon attack is more fun than he described, but you have to like
space invaders.

review of pitfall is right on.

star raiders is an excellent game on the atari 400 and 800.
unfortunately, its translation to 2600 leaves a lot to be desired.
try activision starmaster instead. it is the same idea, but very
well done. it is very engrossing, controls handle well, and requires
the player to make both strategic and tactical choices, all without
extra controllers.

defenders is not that hot. try activision chopper command. although
the game is not so rich (complex), it is much more satisfying because
the controls and graphics are better.

mousetrap is a very well done pacman clone, much better than pacman.

spiderman is clever and fun, if somewhat limited in growth challenge.

doesn't everybody have a video store nearby which will rent the
cartridges for $1-2 a night?
