In my opinion, THE MAN IN THE HIGH CASTLE was
 Philip Dick's best book.  It has an interesting genesis:  Dick used
the I Ching to help plot the story.  The story involves an SF writer
writing a story about an alternate ending to WW II, and he uses the
I Ching.  When the story develops, it turns out that the parallel
world--in which German and Japan LOST WWII--is NOT our world, but
another.  I Ching, YouChing, We all Ching for Ching... .
