What do you mean, Matt? Do all of the people in the the Northwest Suburbs
have to move down here to the Western Suburbs after they get married? I
live in Wheaton and I am not married (as far as I know). Do you suppose
they will kick me out of this area if my true marital status becomes known?
I am getting a little worried now!

Seriously, there are a lot of singles living around the Technological Corridor
(Bell Labs, Amoco, etc.) There are apartment complexes like International
Villages (in Lombard and in Schaumberg?) that cater to singles though they
do have a few families living there. I lived in I.V. for five months and
was not really impressed with my apartment. I could hear every argument that
people next door had. I also heard the woman in the apartment above me
blasting the sound-track to "Grease" about twenty times each weekend. I thought
of slipping some other records under her door and suggesting she play something
else every now and then, but I wasn't living there long enough to really get
concerned over it. For the same price, you can get a much nicer apartment
elsewhere. What you pay for is the social director and the clubhouse (indoor
pool, etc.). I don't know if ALL singles complexes are like that, but this
is the only experience I have to relate.
