One thing that Zimmerman's emacs does very nicely that Gosling's does
not (at least I haven't seen such a package) is handle "rectangular
regions." In other words, columns. ^Y, ^W, m-y, etc, all have
analogues (same commands prefixed by ^C) which operate on a rectangle
defined by point and mark at its opposite corners. Occassionally this
is VERY useful. If anyone has such a package for Gosling's I'd like
to know.

Zimmerman's also has a "picture mode" which is useful when kludging
up pictures, of course. I expect it would be easy to whip up a picture
mode for Gosling's-- certainly easier than handling rectangular regions.
Anyone with either?
