Does anyone remember the game show "Split Second"? It was on ABC back in the
70s, hosted by Tom Kennedy. There were 3 contestants each day, and whoever
won the regular part of the game had a chance to win a new car. There were 5
cars. The winner chose 1 car, and tried to start it by turning the ignition.
If it started he got the car. If not he came back the next day, and if he or
she won that day, they had a 1 out of 4 chance of picking the right car, and
so on. If you won 5 days in a row, and didn`t start a car on your previous
4 attempts, you got to pick whichever of the 5 cars you wanted.

My question is - what was the format of the quiz part of the show? I think
the questions were somewhat dificult, but otherwise I draw a blank.
