Being rational doesn't mean not holding any beliefs, and it also
doesn't mean believing only things which have been proven true,
or even only those which are provably true.
Example: It is arguably rational to believe that Fermat's Last Theorem is
true, although it has not been proved.  Indeed, by Godel's Theorem,
it may not even be provable (in arithmetic). A rational belief in FLT
will be changed by a demonstrable counter-example;
an irrational one ("faith") might not be.
