Waverly St., on the other hand, seems to be the one that hou5a!mat was thinking of: it intersects itself, creating a corner of Waverly and Waverly. A map: CC WW CC WW CC GG WW CC GG legend: C = Christopher St. CCW G W = Waverly St. CC WW G G = Gay St. CCWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW CC CC The extension of Waverly (diagonal in this map) did not used to be part of Waverly: it was named something like Industry St. or Factory St. in 19c. Waverly, of course, was named as a reference to Sir Walter Scott's work. Cheers, John ("I live two blocks away") DeTreville Bell Labs, Murray Hill
