He got the Ace, (a 6502 based Apple II clone, fully com- patible hard & software) 2 disk drives, a printer (MX-80) and a Zenith monitor for, uh, $1700 dollars or so. (Needless to say, he got most of the software from me.) It seems like a nice unit. The keyboard is far superior to the regular Apple, and the speed/noise-level etcetera are all the same, if not better than the Apple. The power switch, and the overall unit are also built better. If I were recommending a 6502-based system to anyone, I would suggest this model, since it has an advantage over most of the Taiwanese (that looks wrong) computers; you can buy it at a local store, so it can be repaired locally!
