Title: Porting software to the 68000

I am thinking of building a 68k-based system and would like to be able to
port some of the existing CP/M and MS-DOS software that I am currently
running and happy with on my H89 and (a friend's) IBM PC.

Does anyone know of any tools or emulators that will allow me to run my
programs on a 68k machine? Is there anything in the works if nothing is
currently available?

Given the speed and power of the 68k, what size performance degradation
should I expect on the 68k running CP/M or MS-DOS software in emulation
mode.

Thanks in advance for any and all comments and assistance.
