I didn't realize that some implimentations of news print out only one screen at a time. You can stop counter-flaming. Those of you who share my dilema of the mach-2 lead-in, I've found a solution...A. either 1) Type 'news > file' 2) either hold down the enter button if that will send a bunch of new-line charaters, or keep hitting the return button if you don't have auto-repeat. or 1) make a file 'ret' that consists of about 50 returns (or more if you get a lot of news.) 2) type 'news < ret > file'. B. type 'more file'. There are various pros and cons to doing this. First the god news...(ha ha) You can read your news as often as you want. It prints out only one screen at a time. It's quick way to get a hard copy of the news to take to class. I thought of it! Now the bad news... You can't reprint an article if you want to reread it. You can't save just single articles. You can't go skipping around. You can't reply to articles immediately. If this helps just one person out there read just one joke then all my effort will have been worthwhile. Ryan
