I would rather believe that which I (or anybody else) can convince me to be
true.  Since I have seen no convincing evidence that God (or gods) does or
does not exist, I prefer to remain as yet unconvinced.  I can say this,
however.  I would certainly prefer not to believe in a system which teaches
that all those who believe otherwise are stupid and should be belittled for
their ignorance, particularly when their beliefs were arrived at by studying
the same evidence for quite probably the same amount of time.  You might also
be reminded that some of the systems of belief you made fun of have been around
much longer than the one you subscribe to, and have more followers.  It seems
unlikely that they are wholly wrong, therefore.
