I want to thank those people who answered my request for comic book
stores in the Indianapolis and Chicago areas. I'd like to summarize
the results for any other interested parties.

 Indianapolis:
The Comic Carnival & Nostalgia Emporium, 6265 N Carrollton Ave
(owner Mark Hylton, just off Broad Ripple Avenue, 253-8882)
	John's Comic Closet, 4610 East 10th St. (357-6611)
	Paula's Naptown Comics, 4608 E Michigan St

	    Try The Circle of Janus
we meet once a month at the back room bar of the Airport Hilton,
2nd Sat. night, about 7:30 PM. Lots of comic book freaks there.

 Chicago:
The Comic Kingdom, 3905 W Lawrence Ave *
Grand Bookstore, 532 N Clark St
More Fun Comics, Inc, 13741 Leyden Ave
	Sherlock's Bookshop, 2620 N Halsted St
	Yesterday, 1143 W Addison St
Larry's Comic Shop, on the North Side *
The New Fantasy Shop, 5651 West Belmont (312) 889-6122
	      (has Dr. Who stuff, too)
	Moondog's (in Schaumberg, Il?)
A Comic-con in June or July at Chicago

* = poor selection of back issues.

These are the bare facts (for the most part). The most recommended
in Indy was The Comic Carnival although John's Closet's was said to look
good when seen at a convention. Well, that's all folks and don't
let the Brood-bugs bite.
