	I don't like the standard Pascal editor because it is line-
	oriented and has strong modes (either commands or text).
	I disliked it so much that I wrote a subset of the Rand
	Editor in Pascal.  This editor is truly screen-oriented, and
	can intermix text and commands.

	I especially have trouble remembering to end the insertions
	with ctrl-C because I use vi on a UNIX system at work.  As
	you may know, vi ends insertions with escape - and this has
	a different effect on the Apple (the text disappears!).

	I won't be satisfied until I can use the Rand Editor at work
	and at home.  I am currently evaluating a C compiler for the
	Apple that will allow a more powerful editor than the one I
	wrote in Pascal.  I also heard that the Apple Pie editor is
	similar to the Rand Editor.  If anyone is using Apple Pie,
	please contact me.
