There are three areas operating in the state at this time. The conditions are not good due to a large rain storm which has come in off the pacific. Besides dumping a lot of moisture, it has raised the freezing level way up. For Timberline lodge on Mt. Hood the snow is 16" of new on a 108" base. The conditions are 32 F with mixed rain and snow. All lifts are open except Palmer (it wont open till June). They are open every day with two lifts open for night skiing wends through sunday. Mt Hood Meadows ski area is overcast at 40 deg and raining. They have 8" of new snow on a 88" base. The beginner runs have been machined groomed. I skied there this last weekend and it was great. All lifts are open for weekend skiing (red, blue, daisy and buttercup mid-week). HRM was in excellent shape last weekend, but Heather Canyon was closed. Texas has also been open and groomed. Mt Batchelor currently has 30 F and snow. They have 7" of new on a 90" base. They are open 9-4 every day but Monday. The Cross Country conditions are open. Ski Bowl/Multipor is closed due to rain, with 1" new on a 62" base.
