It might be of interest that our military has to follow certain "rules" when fighting while, for the most part, the military of our opponents does not: e.g. "Thou shalt no cross the Yalu river, even with aircraft". It is damned hard to win a war, any war, when the two sides are fighting by different rules. We prevailed in WWI and WWII ("we" is editorial, meaning the side which I perceive "me" to be on.) because all sides fought by the same rules (mostly). Since then, we (editorial) have been fighting wars where we have one set of rules while the other side has another set of rules. Isn't it time that either: a) we stopped making rules for ourselves which made it impossible for us to win; or b) got out of the business of fighting wars NICK LANDSBERG ...../whuxlb!npl -:)
