I suspect that this inquiry has already been made, but let me try
again anyway... does anyone have a set of sources for a chess program
someplace on the ARPANET (that I could FTP out)? I don't care too
much about the chess player per se, but rather data structures for
holding board positions and the library of routines for such things
as parsing a descriptive notation move and generating all the legal
moves from a position.

Thanks

ps, - oh I neglected to mention: what I would like are the sources
for a C chess program. 360 assembly code or the like wont help me
much... tnx /b
