       _R_o_d_r_i_g_u_e_s_.  3B8DA/3B9 can be found on 28550 kHz at 1300Z and
       around 14215 kHz at 0330Z.

       _Z_D_7_,__8_,__a_n_d__9_.  ZD7BW, ZD8LM, ZD9BV, ZD9BX, and ZD9YL may
       all be found on 21335 kHz between 1700 and 1900Z.  They are
       usually on three or four days each week.

       _C_e_n_t_r_a_l__A_f_r_i_c_a_n__R_e_p_u_b_l_i_c_.  TL8TX plans a long stay.  Look
       for him on 21280 kHz at 1700Z and 28700 kHz at 1300Z.

       _S_o_u_t_h_e_r_n__S_u_d_a_n_.  9Y4RD/ST/0 plans a two month operation.
       Present activity is mainly on 10 and 15 meter ssb.

       _M_a_l_a_g_a_s_y_.  5R8AL is back and is active on Monday and
       Wednesday on 21330 kHz at 1700Z.  Look for him also on rtty
       on 21095 kHz at 1900Z.  F6EXV hopes to operate 5R8AL for two
       weeks in mid-March.

       _C_o_m_o_r_o_s_.  D68AM is due up on 21285 kHz at 1800Z on
       Wednesday, February 23.

       _U_g_a_n_d_a_.  5X5FS is on 21280 kHz at 1800Z on Fridays and on
       28600 kHz at 1700Z on Saturdays.  QSL to EI9G.

       _I_r_a_q_.  YI1BGD may be found on the low end of the 20 meter
       ssb band around 1500Z on Saturdays.

       _S_o_u_t_h__O_r_k_n_e_y_s_.  Sunday evenings find VP8AOB on 14220 kHz
       around 0300Z.

       _M_o_r_o_c_c_o_.  CN8EU is very active on 21295 kHz at 2200Z.  QSL
       to KA4S.

       _M_a_r_c_h__R_u_m_o_r_s_.  There may be operations from Clipperton and
       from Malpelo in March.  Details as they develop.

       _G_r_a_n_d__T_u_r_k_s_.  VP5MOX will be on cw for the contest this
       weekend and plans ssb operation before and after, through
       Wednesday.

       _1_6_0__M_e_t_e_r_s_.  It is reported that W1FC became the first W1 to
       work Japan on 160.  He contacted JA8IEF at 1134Z on the
       13th, with signals apparently coming long path.

       _B_e_a_c_o_n_s_.  The Northern California DX Foundation is seeking
       volunteers to monitor the Worldwide Beacon Net now partially
       operational on 14000 kHz.  Contact W6RQ for details.
