So far I have tried three different tapes on my new GE stereo VCR.
The machine came with a GE tape (probably not made by GE). I then
bought a JVC High Grade tape, which showed a little better performace.
Both tapes were very good on the SP speed, as good as the original.
On LP, the JVC show some degredation. The GE tape a little worse than
the JVC. Both were bad on the EP speed. The third tape a Maxell High Grade.
This is orginal quality on the SP. Just a little less on the LP (but
noticebly better than the other two). And not too bad on the EP speed.
I want to try the TDK High Grade next. And probably the normal grades for
JVC, Maxell, and TDK. Then I'll by a quantity of the best one for my machine.

Has anyone else performed similar test with the GE 3018 and what did you
find. And what about other machines?
