I was brought up in a household that opened doors for ourselves. Which
caused problems when I started dating. The quys would rush to the door
to open it for me. And it took a while to sink in to me because I was
always used to opening doors myself. My sister-in-law (then just my
brothers girlfriend) got mad at me one time because I started getting
out of the car before my brother opened the door. She made me close
the door and wait. I thought it was dumb, but I wasn't brought up that
way. My husband used to try and open doors until I told him not to.
Who wants to stand outside in the cold waiting for a door to be opened?

But everyone is different and what they feel should be respected. My
own opinion is that I can open a door myself, but some of the doors
I have tryed to open are heavy and I'd love some help getting the pigs
open.(I don't enjoy dislocating my arm trying to open a door.)

Enough! Let me end saying I feel sorry for the woman that throught
opening a door was Sexual Harrassment. I'd like to know her exact
reason though.
