In it, Anthony tries to come to grips with the deliberate sexism in the other stories; the ending is, for Xanth, rather surprising (though perhaps not unexpected given the trend he established in OGRE, OGRE). It's well worth reading, but then I'm an Anthony fan. BTW, is anyone else of the opinion that Anthony's emphatic sexism in the Xanth novels is deliberately over-stated in order to make a (subtle) point about our society? I'm of two minds myself, but I know someone who feels strongly that the sexism is a deliberate put-on. Any ideas? Beatriz Infante
