Yours with hindsight Dave Vollman BTL - IH HI: I have just purchased some Hydrocurve II extended wear contacts, and can confirm that they ARE made inastigmatic powers. They are called 'toric' lenses (a technical term), and the minimum power made is 1 1/4 dioptre. I am 1 dioptre astigmatic in my left eye, and I was fitted with the 1.25 dioptre ones as an experiment. They work fine. Regular soft contacts come in a bigger range of powers. You might find that you can't wear extended wear, and you will certainly find that your eyes are REALLY gummy, until you get used to them (I wore glasses for 20 years - perhaps it's different for contact lens wearers).
