I have only one last thing to say on the subject of bimmler, and then I will
be forever silent. I refuse to actively condemn someone, but I have been
deeply hurt by being sneakily poked into revealing something about myself
that I didn't really want publicly known and so I feel I have to tell this
little story, which happened about two years abou

ago. (sorry!)

I used to be the main female writer on another net when I was
working for San Diego City Schools, and one day I was surpri
surprised and delighted to find another woman's name on the net.
I wrote her a little hello letter, and soon we began corresponding.
Within about a month we were fast friends. She was the girl I'd
been searching for as a confidante; enough like me that we could
get along, not as phony as the women I worked around, and very very
	likeable.

Well, finally, after spilling my guts to her all over the net,
I got an anonymous phonecall one day from some male personage telling
me that this girl I had become so fond of was in fact a creation of
one of his male friends; a fellow I'd met over the net, and had been
exceedingly bored by. I didn't believe him, but he kept calling,
and finally one day Kevin (the boring one) himself called and admitted
his trick. I still didn't believe it, but the girl stopped writing,
and I felt very, very hurt. After all, it wasn't that I had so many
deep dark secrets; only that I would have liked to know who it was
I was telling these things to. Hurt and disappointed, I soon stopped
	netwriting, and the message/mail programs were removed two weeks later;
I had voiced my upset and all the netters ended up boycotting the net.
It was removed for lack of use. I think we were all suddenly afraid
that the person we were talking to wasn't real.

Enough said.
