Article-I.D.: ihuxl.220 Posted: Thu Jul 15 17:54:28 1982 Received: Mon Jul 19 01:13:09 1982 I've got a small problem that I just haven't taken time to track down; but maybe I won't have to... I've written some mm macros to format a script (as in acting, bunky). The problem comes when I get to the bottom of the page, and print the character's cue line; such as: Alien: You're not Sirius! This is fine, normally; but if I hit the bottom of the page with the cue line, then the actual lines end up on the next page. What I want to know is what number register does mm keep the current line count in? Knowing that, I can tie at least the first line of that dialogue to the cue line. Thnx, Dave Ihnat ihuxl!ignatz
