To this day I think it was a terrible thing they did-- a burning tree fell on Bambi's mommy. What kind of a thing is that to show little kids?? I cried my eyes out and refused to watch the rest of the film! I still won't go to see the movie. My question now is --does anybody else feel this way? Am I being over sensitive to animals or what? As a (semi-)rational adult I can see that death is a normal part of life, but I still don't think that a movie aimed at little kids should show them such tramatic (sp?) situations.
