I just got a spec sheet on what seems to be a very interesting product.
It's a portable microcomputer system by Micro Source, dubbed the M6000P.
Looks something like the Osborne or Kaycomp systems, but with a 9" CRT
(with full 24 x 80 display). Unlike those, however, it has a useful
bus -- an 8-slot STD bus card cage. It also comes with a Z-80, 64K of
RAM, 2 5.25" DSDD floppies (386K formatted each), a VT-100-type keyboard,
and CP/M 2.2. They also offer it with a variety of STD bus cards (many
other vendors, like Prolog and Mostek, make these, too), 5.25" Winchesters,
a 10- or 12-slot card cage, and (get ready to toss your TRS-80's) a
Motorola 68000 CPU with Unix! No word on pricing or availablity.
Does anyone out there have any additional info, or experience with this?
