Has anybody else experienced this problem?

We have a Corvus 20 megabyte Winchester at work. It is used with Apple
CP/M. (Actually the Apple just serves as a multiplexer to connect a
network of Xerox 820's). My problem is this:

The Corvus modified Apple CP/M executes a file called MOUNT.COM upon
cold boot. This file mounts all specified volumes thus allowing the
user to cause the single Corvus drive to act as several smaller drives
to CP/M. However, there is a bug: Although the drive contains 20
megabytes, MOUNT will not allow the cumulative sum of mounted volumes
to exceed 8 megabytes. As we use our Corvus exclusively for CP/M this
means we have 12 megabytes which are completely inaccesible. I have
written and called Corvus a number of times since early February of
this year. They admit that the problem exists, and initially told me
that the fix for their software would be available in "2 or 3 weeks".
Now they say there is no firm date and their answers appear more
evasive each time I call them. Is anybody else experiencing this
problem, or have they figured out a solution?? Please let me know if
you hear anything.
