    I had no right answers!!!  In the first case the runner is safe.
    The rules say that a fielder must have control of the ball with
    his hand or a glove.  Covering the ball over his jersey with his
    hand does not constitute having control so the runner is safe.

    In the 2nd case the runner is OUT!  A fielder is allowed to throw
    his glove with the ball in it to a base and the baseman can catch
    it just like a thrown ball!!!!
