Just two comments on spelling, and one on food.
It's "Venezuela" (not "Venesuela") either in English or Spanish.
(In Spanish the pronunciation is "Beneswelah", I've no idea about English)

                             ~
In Spanish the spelling is senora. (Senhora is Portuguese)
Who said potatoes were NORTH American? They are SOUTH American, and
come from Chile. (Of course, I'm a Chilean)
(Anyway, the story was funny)
