Well, now that you have bought a 400 you had better stick with games (the
800 is practically the same with the exception of an extra expansion
slot and a better keyboard). In fact, it would have been best to save up
and get some other game computer (such as a TRS-80 color or a VIC-20).

In addition, I'm not positive about the joysticks, but I believe that you
are stuck with the 5-switch Atari type. However, if paddles are available,
you might be able to rig up an X,Y joystick, read as the paddles. But as
I said, I'm not positive.
