Digital tape recordings for new records are a fine idea but it does not help you too much - there is a whole set of other sources of noise at a disk (scratches, dust, .....). So - the future should a) develop digital tape recorders for the "normal" consumer b) substitute the current analogue transmissions of FM radio through digital transmissions Does anybody know whether such plans exist??
