Wright @ Duke University Re: DMF-32 vs DH-11 I'm not entirely up on the precise differences between the DMF-32 and the DH-11, but the DMF has some cute features like being able to sense ^S/^Q at the interface level and do the appropriate things, and to generate them for input if its silo starts getting full. I think it also has some other features in the line protocol area, but I don't remember offhand exactly what they are. I don't know enough timing statistics to know if this has a significant beneficial effect on most installations or not (over the DH-11). I would think that you would get at least *some* advantage to having this stuff offloaded from the host, but don't know the statistics for these precise devices. Bruce C. Wright @ Duke University
