Cost IS the object. I don't want to spend a lot of money on this. I am willing to make price/performance trade-offs. BYTE has lots of ads. My question to the community... What would you recommend (remember price counts)? What should be avoided? Why do you make this suggestion? Speed/reliability/support/gut feeling... I would like about 10Mbytes with the ability to expand up to larger storage later. It MUST adhere to IEEE-696 (proposed) as much as possible, especially the addressing.
