There's an interesting footnote to the above note. Doing the
suggested

	su notes < /usr/spool/notes/.utilities/newsoutput.sh

where newsoutput.sh is

	/usr/spool/notes/.utilities/newsoutput "net.*"

does not work. Apparently newsoutput gets run, and the appropriate
confirmations appear in /usr/spool/notes/.utilities/net.log, but the
new notes/responses are never posted to the appropriate newsgroup. I
find that notes must login and run newsoutput in order for the new
notes/responses to be properly posted. Does anyone else have this
problem?

Also, newsoutput always seems to produce a "Duplicate response
handed back by news", even though the note/responses gets posted
and appears in the appropriate newsgroup. Weird?
