There is a very nice one, which has been in use on minis for some time, called "Business Basic III". This is the principal language of use by Basic Four. This is an interpretive BASIC. The intepreter has been ported to Fortune's 68000, and runs under UNIX. Some benchmarks place it at 3-4 times faster than its minicomputer equivalent. Rick Kiessig
