re IBM PC keyboard articles in net.micro (utzoo.2291,uiucdcs.344,
  sri-unix.2544)

The most serious flaw in the Personal Computer keyboard is, I think,
that all the keys are the same size. Carriage return and Shift in
particular should be larger than the other keys, as indeed they are
on the 3101 terminal and on most other typewriter and terminal
keyboards. IBM has tried to help distinguish the keys by color,
but this distinction is practically useless for someone who types
well (i.e., for someone who doesn't look at the keys).
