The ONCOCIN Project, an applied expert systems research group in the
Heuristic Programming Project at Stanford University, is seeking a full-time
applications programmer to work on the development of an cancer protocol
management system.  The job requires familiarity with artificial intelligence
techniques and the LISP or Interlisp languages.  Masters level training in
computer science and previous experience with personal workstations are
highly desirable.  Tasks may involve any of a number of programming languages
and applications efforts, but the emphasis will be on artificial intelligence
aspects of the oncology research work.   Applicants should be eager to work
in an academic environment on a medically oriented project.
