Determinism requires a God? There are one or two very simple statements
of what determinism is, but no one has any idea about any putative referent
of "God". 
There is no mention of God in the definition of determinism, and if it is
meant that some sort of "natural laws" are needed for determinism, why not
just say that instead of clouding things up with obscurity?

I would agree that agnostics are "confused", because they seem to actually 
take seriously what I consider to be a senseless proposition.
