He was in a pretty generous mood, so he tells his friends, "I'm going to give you a riddle to complete, and if any one of you can complete it correctly and spell the answer correctly, it's drinks on the house for all three till close." Well, of course they couldn't turn that down, so the bartender begins,"Ok, then, complete this portion of the rhyme: 'Old MacDonald had a ---'". Well, his first friend, a Texan, drawls, "Wall, I know whet THAT is, that's RANCH, R-A-N-C-H". "No", says the bartender, a bit puzzled. "I'm afraid that's not it." "Well, any dang fool can see what the answer is," says the second friend, an Oklahoma native. "It's OIL WELL, O-I-L W-E-L-L." The bartender begins to think at this point that perhaps they had all had enough already, when he notices his third friend, a recent GSU graduate, waving frantically down at the end of the bar. The bartender nodded at him and said "What do you think?" The GSU grad smiles proudly and says, "Farm. Old MacDonald had a FARM. An' it's spelled E-I-E-I-O."
