I have had some experience with Nikko Amps, both fo the home and
for high-fidelity touring applications. Get the Alpha 220 or 440.
They are very well behaved, and quite tolerant of odd loads. They have
been not only very good sounding amps (the one in my lab
is still better than .01% after having the () beaten out of it.)
I have been using Nikko Alpha 440's in the place of Crown DC300's and
PSA-2's, and have had very few problems.

As far as the pre-amp- I would go with the Technics micro
SU-?? or something like that, if it'sstill available. The NEW
Nikko preamps aren't bad though.

I have no experience with the tuners.
