Spoiling American industry and convincing them that they have
a ready market for inferior products will not make them 
competitive in the world market!  In California, American
cars are great because even rust doesnt rust in California.
In Canada, where we have to salt the roads because of the
continual melt-freeze of our weather in winter, American cars
typically rust out completely in 3 years.  The technology
exists NOT to do that...our rabbits have lasted over 5, and
are just starting to show a little rust around the edges
WITH NOCOMMERCIAL RUSTPROOFING!  When American cars
(and I include Oakville, Canada cars, since they are direct
spinoffs) can do that, I will consider buying them again.
