The conference will consist of a preliminary day of tutorials on hardware, software, and communications technologies, followed by three days of conference proper. Morning sessions will be general perspectives talks. Afternoons will consist of two concurrent sessions of more detailed descriptions and demonstrations of specific systems. The theme of the first day is technological basics, of the second day, systems built upon those basics, of the third day, the changing structure of scientific collaboration and research caused by computing technology. There will also be poster/demonstration sessions and an industrial trade show.
