Title: the Technics SV-P100 digital cassette recorder

On page 32 of the August 16 issue of Time magazine (at least in the
Portland Oregon regional edition), Matsushita, alias Panasonic, Technics,
Quasar, and National, ran a two-page color ad praising their corporate
selves by claiming to have introduced the first piece of digital stereo
gear for the consumer. Since it's a corporate ad, they don't talk much
about the machine, except to say that it was reviewed in the March 1982
issue of Stereo Review. I checked, and this is the one issue that
didn't find my mailbox. Can anyone tell me anything about this recorder,
including in particular price and availability?
