Last year, one of my directories acquired a file called *   .
So, dumbly, I said " rm *  ", and it worked real well.
When I called counseling to get all my zapped files from the backup
tape, I was told to use "extract", which at least existed under BTL's
PWB 3.0, and is presumably still around.  You cd to the directory,
type "extract", and get prompted for all the files.
