There is one problem I have noticed with type-ahead under CP/M.  If you have
MicroSoft BASIC (at least, version 5.01 or earlier), the first character of
your type-ahead is eaten when some commands return to the OK prompt.  Not all
commands exhibit this "feature"; my conclusion is that Microsoft forgot to
call a subroutine that eats the character before returning to command level.
If you don't use MBASIC, then you don't have to worry about this...
