It seems there was this unix hacker who had run out of
money one summer, and needed lots of capital for his next
purchase of hardware.

Having access to some really fine graphics equipment, he
decided to conterfeit some good old fashioned U.S. dollars.
Working late into the night, he finally finshed his program
and set it to running off a few hundred of these bills.

Of course, being a hacker, he had made a mistake. When
he woke up, all he saw were eighteen-dollar bills.

"What in the world am I gonna do with two hundred eighteen-
dollar bills?"

He eventually decided to try passing them off in the next
county over, where everyone was known to be really stupid.
Jumping into his VW, he motored over to the county seat and
went into the Second National Bank of Franklin County.

Going up to the teller, he asked, "Can I get change for
these here eighteen-dollar bills?"

"Yup," drawled the teller, "Whadda ya want your change in?
Three sixs, or two nines?"
