I would avoid the Chevy Citation like the plague (these comments
pertain to the Citation in general, not the X-11 in particular).
According to Consumer Reports, they have one of the worst repair
records around. Further, one of the people I work with has a 6
month old Citation (one of the few people I know with an America
car) which seems to be constantly in the shop. His experience
has scared me--the steering went out (totally) after four months,
and the dealer took about a month to get it fixed properly. He's
had other problems with it too. He was a die-hard American car
buyer (that's why he bought the Citation), but now he's cursing
himself for not buying the Nissan/Datsun Stanza.

Moral of the story: unless you're willing to suffer grief, don't
buy American.
