(of course, some people don't like APL (hurrah!) or LISP) Switching to Pascal seems to be along the same lines that the french seem to do things... They have an institute for keeping their language pure (no ``Le Drugstore'' allowed), and they won't talk your language even if you cannot speak theirs. Foo on them. Implementing a unix in pascal is a perfectly horrid idea. The next best language other than c (is there *really* a next best?) would be PL/I, but it still would be a total pain. Down with Sol!
