There is an interesting range of "happiness" involving single and married
men and women. I think I saw it in a recent Psychology Today article.
It goes like this: from MOST happy to LEAST happy, the list is
                     Single women
                     Married men
                     Married Women
                     Single men.
That is, single women are supposedly happiest, single men least happy.
My own observations seem to confirm this. Any comments?

A propos of religious gatherings and singles: it seems that after one
gets out of one's 20's, there isn't much social activity available
in churches. They are generally as couple-oriented as the rest of
society.
Unless one is particularly religious, though, it is not particularly
honest nor advantageous to go this route. Good grief, there's a whole
world of interesting things to do - if someone compatible comes along,
that's great, but on the other hand, the single life has much to offer.
Why leave your own fields of interest to meet a guy who doesn't share
your interests, anyhow?
