Lesk's "refer" is not on UNIX System III.
"ms" exists only in a skinny form for roffing system documentation that
uses it; "mm" is much better anyway.

Note that a System III license entitles you to the "earlier technology"
so you could lift things like this from other sites with 7th Edition
licenses if you really need them.

Generally I have found System III to be a much better production system
than 7th Edition or the early PWB/UNIX.  It is worth getting just for the
improvements in important system utilities (at Geotronics, I ported most
System III utilities to a slightly enhanced 6th Edition kernel and got a
system almost as usable as System III would be, perhaps moreso given that
you can't run UNIX System III on an 11/34 and do much - contrary to the
advertisements).
