These books are not out of print.  They are 'The Limerick'
by G. Legman and (I think) 'The Limerick II'.  A good source
for these books is Publishers Clearing House - a mail discounter
that operates out of Chicago.  Once you are on their mailing
list you get a catalog every couple of months.  BTW these
books have good indices -- this makes it interesting to look
at limericks on the net (or elsewhere) that are touted as
new and original and find their quite similar counterparts
from 1910 or so.

Before I encountered these books I had thought that my days
with the Cal Marching Band were the fountainhead of new and
exciting limericks by the dozen.  Now I find that
even the young girl from Milpitas was previously discovered.
