Has anyone ever seen a piece of smelly trash called THE SEVEN MINUTES?
It's so absurd and disgusting as to be delightful! This is by far
my favorite bad movie. I believe it is a Roger Corman production.

It shows up on late night TV every now and then. It's supposedly a
version of Irving Wallace's book of the same name about the evils of
literary censorship. A young man rapes a woman and then is manipulated
by a bunch of ultra-conservative Falwellese Reaganish stooges, lawyers,
double-talkers, etc., into believing he did it because he read a book
called THE SEVEN MINUTES which is about what goes on in the mind of a
woman during sexual intercourse. The ensuing trial pits the young
handsome hero-lawyer against this motley crew.

There are so many bad things in it, I don't quite know what to mention.
For one thing, it seems as if no camera shot lasts more than 3 seconds.
This is very disorienting. The leader of the ultra-conservatives is a
particularly obnoxious character actor who is crippled and limited to a
wheel-chair. His buxom and lewd assistant "Baby-Doll" serves as a
perfect comment about his hypocritical double-standard.

A true camp classic.
