Having grown up as somewhat of a 'saltaholic' myself, I am in sympathy with
you dilemma.  While I am not a 'no-salt person', I have significantly cut
back also.  Two suggestions:

1)  lemon juice is an excellent salt substitute on many green vegetables.  Try
some on brocccoli, green beans, asparagus, fish, etc.

2)  Craig Claiborne's 'The Diet Gourmet' is full of low sodium recipes which
don't compromise on taste.  I think it is even available in paperback now.
