In addition to the silo high water mark interrupt,
these turkeys should have a settable timeout, so
that if there is input that hasn't been read for,
say, a 15th of a second, an interrupt is generated
even if the silo is below high water mark.  Making
the OS poll whether or not there is data to be
read is so stupid as to not be believed.  Anyone
know of a unibus mux that has this builtin timeout?

While I'm on the subject, if someone wants to build
a better mux, output should be PIO with 1K bytes of
buffer per channel, and there should be commands to
stop, continue, and flush output, and there should
be hardware ^S/^Q output flow control enabled by
software.  Are you listening Ken O.?
