Has anyone been involved with training new UNIX users or new C programmers
using any materials other than the standard on-line documentation and the
Kernighan and Ritchie "C" book, either in addition to these or instead of
them?

My agency is just getting involved with UNIX and C; we have Western Electric
training in progress, and every programmer has a Kernighan & Ritchie book.
However, we were wondering if there are any other available texts which could
be beneficial as a supplement, or even as introductory material for new
people who come on board after contracted training is completed.

If anyone has had experience with any "non-standard" training materials,
books, or documentation, I'd like to hear from you.
