Blade Runner paints a realistic mood portrait. The set detail is about
the best I've ever seen. I recommend this especially for the visual
effects.

Vangelis' score is also good, as usual. But, disturbingly, everything
I've heard of his seems to sound alike. "Heaven & Hell" (the theme
from Cosmos) and the theme music from "Chariots of Fire" sound very close,
if not exactly the same. The same theme runs through his music for
this movie.

The story is interesting too, if predictable. A few cliches (that
are not meant, I think) sneak through - but the overall mood is never
spoiled. Real sci fi film noir. Probably the best film of its kind.
