Am currently using the FS-UAE Amiga emulator to play Elite. After every
docking to a station I save the stats.

But where on the host (using Debian Linux) are these saved? The ADF image
file on the host's machine doesn't change its date stamp. The only other
location I could think of is ~/FS-UAE where there is only ../Data/Settings.ini
changed. But this looks like an ordinary configuration file to me.

I use a Unix based operating system, which means I get laid almost as often
as I have to reboot my computer.
