I'm thinking of upgrading to a 130XE, but only if I can recycle my old 800
to serve some useful purpose. 2 things I have thought of are using the 800
as a printer buffer and using it to simulate another disk drive. Has anyone
out there done this before? Is there any code available? Any pointers as to
how to go about either of these? And the biggest question--is it reasonable
to do these things in the first place?

Any other suggested uses for an old 800?
Thanks.
