What's wrong with advertise the information about the program on the ne?
If somebody like me want that kind of program badly, he probably need
that right away and save time to seek information.  Nobody will blame
the author because he advertise some product on the net which cannot
easily be found everywhere else.

What's wrong is that usenet is connected to MILNET and the rules of the latter
are such that advertising is VERBOTTEN!

For myself, i wouldn't care either way.  But, i would definitely hate to see
the service go away, especially over something that simple.		der
